I will not believe hotels.com another time

There were bedbugs in the bed and also on the ground, so didn't clean the room and rented again knowing the issue... No words And Hotels.com didn't do anything They told me sorry , is not our business

Not even near to the description and pictures published. We were 6 people, so we rented 3 different rooms for 3 nights. None of them were good. No kitchen or sitting area at all, narrow beds, awful worn-out frayed towels and bed sheets. There was no soap in the bathroom, the shower did not work, and though we complained, nobody came to fix anything. Nobody at the reception except when we arrived, and nobody to talk to anywhere, never. Cheap property, with zero deference or respect for its guests.

Very run down property. The condition of the bathroom was desperate, the shower did not work and although we were assured it would be fixed, nobody came. The soap/shampoo dispenser was broken, the towels were over used and had holes. Beds super narrow. A/C old and not function properly. No cleaning service during the 3 days we were there. All in all, my advice is: stay somewhere else.

Good location. Cheap and cheerful - good value. Breakfast of coffee and croissant around the corner was included.

Mirage in name, mirage in nature. When we arrived we were told there was no booking, then when we pointed out we were expecting an apartment, not a room, we were told we’d have to pay extra. Then we showed them a copy of our booking, they admitted that the apartment had a plumbing problem and was not available. They put us in a terrible room with a broken shower door and missing toilet seat. Room hadn’t been cleaned properly. We complained and were moved the next day to an apartment (not the one we booked) but it had a bath/shower. We had specified a separate shower, so we had to make the best of it. We were in Lecce for 3 days and the accommodation left a sour taste. One staff member was helpful but the one who checked us in was terrible.

The property said they didn't get our booking from Expedia, even though we had confirmation and had pre-paid for the room. They tried to move us to another hotel but we had pre-paid and they also had an upgraded room available in the same property. When I refused they put us in the upgraded room.

great location to centro storico. Very secure locks on doors, important for singles. Wi/fi could be stronger.

Basic hotel with great staff

The staff is wonderful, and the service is excellent, the location is great and the breakfast is delicious, but we found the facilities to be very basic. We had reserved a room with kitchen facilities but found the kitchen was not equipped well enough to be very useful to us.

Very good B&B, good location

This is a very good B&B, well located for exploring the historic centre of Lecce, which is beautiful. If travelling by public transport it is about half an hour from the station - but I walk fairly slowly. The breakfast is brought to your room at requested time, and my only problem was that I couldn't eat it all! Lecce is a gem of a city. It has ancient Roman ruins, Baroque architectural masterpieces and some wonderful restaurants and wine bars. What a lovely place to spend a few days. Thank you, Claudia and colleagues. I hope to return some time.

Convenient location although parking always a problem.

This hotel was right next to the historic city center (Centro Storico). We really liked walking around the city center, lots of shopping-both boutique and souvenir, lots of restaurants, tons to see. You have to pay for all of the parking around the hotel. The room was nice and clean, with a full bathroom. There was a refrigerator but we couldn't get the plug to fit in the socket. They brought us a beautiful breakfast each morning: cappuccini, fruit, pastries, yogurt and juice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a really nice time, would definitely stay again.

Compact and delicious

Mirage was perfect for me. I spent quite a lot of time in my room reading so it passed the test over my 7 days. The breakfast was served in my room each morning and was abundant. One of the loveliest features of the Mirage is the fabulous and very friendly and obliging service by staff. Particular kudos to Angelica who was an angel (and cooked special breakfast cakes in vanilla and chocolate). One shortcoming: no water glasses or even plastic ones in the room--would be very useful!

Quiet urban hide away

On the edge of Lecce's old town on a quiet corner surrounded by Modernist apartments this tiny b and b is the perfect bolt hole for the budget traveller. Breakfast in the room was abundant and tasty. Our room looking out over an internal courtyard was comfortably isolated from the bustle of liberation day.

Everything good. But not enough tourist advice. It maybe because we cannot communicate well. Since I don't know Italian and the reception there do not know English.

Best Value, Great location

This B&B is clean, spacious and convenient to the old town. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom feels new. There is free WiFi. The staff is on hand on a limited basis, however they are very attentive. Breakfast is brought in on a cart to your room each morning and they do their very best to accommodate any requests. There was no safe in the room, but there was a refrigerator. We stayed here two nights. I would have stayed more if I had known what a great location this is, as a base to explore all of southern Puglia.

Well located in close proximity to an old town. Fair sized and nicely furnished rooms. Good and helpful staff. Can not provide a free car parking as advertised, that is the only negative to this otherwise nice place.

pulito, comodissima la sistemazione e ambienti ariosi e ampi, ci ritornerei senza dubbio

Boa localização e teria tudo para ser muito melhor. Mas o serviço é muito ruim ! Faltou papel higiênico e não repuseram em toda a estadia (7 dias ) , toalhas rasgadas e também faltou sabonete. As instalações não são ruim , mas o serviço e capricho é pessimo

A volte basta poco

Tenendo presente che il buono per la colazione al bar lo lasciavano facendo le camere, per ben due giorni consecutivi non sono venuti a fare la camera come previsto. Il cambio degli asciugamani solo una volta nella settimana, sostituiti con altri puliti ma tutti sfilacciati. Lenzuola bucate.

MAIII PIUUUU QUIIII! Inizia ttt con la mia chiamata per concordare l'orario del check-in, che la ragazza mi comunica la disdetta della mia stanza per errato nr. della carta di pagamento inserita in fase di prenotazione. Da premettere che 6-7 giorni prima Expedia mi ha sollecitato il problema via mail al quale ho provveduto a reinserire i dati e ho chiamato in struttura per comunicarlo. Mi hanno liquidata (il B&b) che se ci fossero stati problemi di nuovo mi sarebbe arrivata una seconda mail (Mai arrivata). Prenoto la stanza con supplemento rispetto al prezzo iniziale (dove vado a prenotare 1 ora e poco piu dall'arrivo). La ragazza mi accompagna in stanza, apre e dice "buon soggiorno" senza farmi vedere la stanza e darmi le informazioni base. Nell'esplorare noto la sporcizia a terra e sui mobili. Letti rifatti in fretta. Per non parlare del momento in cui ho deciso di fare la doccia. Avevano probabilmente un problema alla caldaia (l'ho avuto anch'io a casa e il termine è problema allo scambiatore precisamente). Capelli lavati nel lavandino e doccia corpo fatta fredda in attesa del tecnico per la risoluzione del problema (mai arrivato) Ciliegina sulla torta: in stanza era pieno di moscerini (alcuni intrappolati nel paralume) e zanzare che chiaramente nella notte mi hanno riempito di baci 😀 (mani e viso).

Valle for money

La struttura è situata in una posizione ottimale per visitare la città a piedi, tuttavia la camera da noi prenotata presentava delle carenze, che seppur apparentemente di poca importanza, avrebbero fatto la differenza. Non erano presenti comodini ai lati del letto ne possibilità di accendere/spegnere la luce una volta a letto. Non vi era un posa valige che abbiamo tenuto a terra. Abbiamo dovuto staccare il mini frigo che faceva un rumore molto fastidioso. Non ci è stato concesso di lasciare i bagagli oltre il check out.

Pessima esperienza!!

Pessima esperienza in questa struttura…senza riscaldamento….struttura sporca…senza biancheria e quella presente vecchia e in pessime condizioni…puzza di imbiancatura….Mi dispiace ma non mi è mai capitata una esperienza negativa in 27 anni di Salento…

Terribile! Camera fatiscente e sporca, umidità vistosa, lenzuola bucate, asciugamani sbrandellati, personale inadeguato.

Prezzi sempre molto interessanti, non è la prima volta che uso questo b&b e mi trovo sempre bene. Posizione comodissima.

Struttura molto bella, curata sia negli spazi comuni che nella camera. Bagno grande e comodo, spazi in generale generosi. Colazione eccellente, caffè e cappuccino eccellenti, come al miglior bar.

Servizio gentile e attento, pulizia pressochè perfetta e posizione comodissima, proprio nel centro città.

C'est un hotel simple à un prix plus qu'abordable. La propreté peut définitivement être améliorée surtout dans la salle de bain. L'accueil est excellent et le personnel très gentil. J'ai eu un problème avec ma chambre et ils m'ont proposé de changer sans avoir à le demander. Et le petit-déjeuner est copieux et très bon.

La struttura è in zona centrale, ho soggiornato diverse volte negli anni passati, però nelle ultime volte ho notato scarsa pulizia e camere in pessimo stato. Non credo ritornerò più.

Struttura vecchiotta poca cura negli accessori -televisore malfunzionante, asciugamani strappati, nemmeno un bicchiere- in compenso pulita, locali ampi, buona la colazione.

Quando siamo arrivati la sera, il ragazzo della reception ci ha chiesto in anticipo la tassa di soggiorno che sarebbe dovuta essere di 8,00€ in base al messaggio da voi mandatomi, invece ne ha chiesti 16,00€ rispondendo alla mia obiezione che era il mese di Agosto. Il giorno successivo quando abbiamo lasciato la stanza la sua collega ci ha chiesto di pagare nuovamente la tassa di soggiorno di 8,00€ e noi abbiamo risposto che l'avevamo già pagata al suo collega la sera precedente dandogli 16,00€, le ci ha guardato basita e ha cercato di coprire la situazione. Questo atteggiamento non mi è piaciuto perché ci ha fatto capire che c'era qualcosa che non andava, percui non ritorno mai più a soggiornare da loro!

Ottima posizione centrale, ci è stata data una stanza visibilmente matrimoniale mentre noi eravamo in 4 , sifone della doccia incrostato di calcare. Mi aspettavo dalla struttura di più

La camera non era come descritta.. La colazione due giorni su tre é arrivata alle 11 e un giorno non é arrivata proprio... Il parcheggio non é assolutamente incluso nei servizi... Pulizia pessima.. E comodità zero... Non lo riproverò mai più.
