Hair conditioner in shower didn't work was stuck for 2 days

Great stay and the staff were fantastic!

Mercure Echuca

We arrived early and the lady on reception was extremely helpful and easy to deal with. Very efficient and a great communicator. Room was huge and the hotel walking distance to everything. Only negative was that the bar and restaurant are closed and have been for a number of years, which is not how the hotel website describes itself. However, there are plenty of places to choose from to eat and drink and there is an arrangement with one facility to deliver to your room. Would definitely stay here again.

Very close to shops restaurants very walkable to river

Complex was layed out well ,room was clean only 1 issue air conditioner was old and vents were broken.

Spider web in the roof corner. 3 t-bags for a 4 person stay. 1 coffee cup had someone elses coffee stain in the bottom. Asked for 3 plates and cutlery, 1 of the plates had cereal stuck near the rim edge. I was told the dishwasher doesnt was them well!

I was happy with my accommodation and pool/spa facilities. The only negative experience I had was at check-in. Time is advertised as 2pm. But I was unable to check-in until 3pm as the room was not ready, so had to wait around.

Spacious room but a little tired - especially the bathroom. Reception closes quite early, and don’t waste your money on the breakfast, go to Maccas next door instead.

Pool was great for relaxing in the afternoon sun, although the pool isn’t as big as the photos make it look

The Mercure Port of Echuca is quite old and you can se that on the rooms. However the rooms are very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful.

Property was in a great position walking distance to Main Street, The Historic Port, and all Echuca has to offer. The pool and spa were very enjoyable. Rooms are very dated and would benefit from a spruce up - old original fittings, dated yet practical furniture, old lifting carpet etc. Would be better to have a smokers wing and a non smoking wing as our room constantly filled with the smell of cigarette smoke from next door which was unpleasant. Staff on reception were lovely, parking was very easy. I’d stay again for convenience over anything else.

Mercure Echuca is a great place to stay, very close to shops and restaurants, staff were very helpful at reception would definitely recommend

Not the best for cleanliness

Room was not cleaned properly and had to call the office to send house keeping to fix it. The staff member was lovely and did rectify my room and provided a treat for the inconvenience.

Nice hotel, but disappointed

Clean and tidy hotel, just a pity about the smokers next door who couldn’t walk any further than there front door for a smoke or to cough up a lung which they did all day and early in the morning!!

The standard queen room was just ok. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. Not my comfort zone. If I had to stay there again it would probably be upgraded Or not stay there again

Clean modern room. Great air con already switched on before our arrival. Pool older & needed a clean but we enjoyed it anyway. Staff very friendly.

Would not advise

Firstly noticed my rubbish bin had not been emptied from the prior customer. Called to have the bin changed. Then noticed my bathroom had not been cleaned. Handbasin and shower with hair and toothpaste left in the hand basin. Overall site is old and needs to be refurbished.

Lovely pool & spa area with BBQ facilities. Recommend having breakfast elsewhere.

Not 4 star these days,probably 3. No restaurant, no breakfast on weekends and rooms could do with upgrade. Staff ok and rooms clean but not as good experience as hoping for

When you think Mercure you generally think of a very nice place to stay. This motel is old and tired and desperately needs a refresh. The bed was as hard as a rock and I felt like I was sleeping on a board. The only good thing about it was the close vicinity to shops and restaurants. I would not stay here again.

Comfortable bed and spacious room. Walkable distance to the Port area. We were in a front room so a little traffic noise.

Spacious rooms, good showers

The room was spacious with a well placed kitchenette that suited our requirements. Even though our room faced the main road, the blockout curtains and minimal traffic noise, ensured good night's sleep. Bathroom huge with a spa bath but we chose not to take advantage of this luxury. Would recommend

Value for money, walking distance from McDonalds and other cafes/restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room smells nice and clean except few minor flaws, dust and hair in the bathroom vanity drawers. Shower was clean, water pressure and temperature was good. No exhaust fan in the toilet. Bed and pillows were comfortable, fresh and crispy linen. I will rate my stay 8/10.

great place to stay. Staff very accomodating. No problem changing a room from upstairs to ground floor. Stayed an extra day due to illness and not problem getting the extra day. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Would definatly come back.

Great location, everything within walking distance. Easy parking & clean, spacious room. The Kookaburras on the balcony on Sunday morning were gorgeous :)

Lovely spacious and well appointed room. Although facing the main road the traffic noise not too bad.

Could hear music from the American but it quietened down just after 10, on a weekend. Couldn't hear the other rooms occupants. Handy fridge and microwave in the room. Very big room compared to other motels in the area. Convenient to high st, late cheeky macca's. Lovely staff

Location and cleanliness were excellent, water leaking down the corner of our room not pleasant, appeared to be water damage just outside our room and flowed down the inside wall making the tiles at entry wet and very slippery.

The location is perfect. You can just park the car and walk everywhere. The rooms are very spacious. It is great value accommodation.

The receptionist Kate was very helpful and friendly. The accommodation and room was great the only downside was the ants in our kitchenette . We will definitely stay again.

Quite nice room but very cold and no electric blanket in sight the middle of winter. Also no compendium explaining TV. Had to ask receptionist to come up.

Our stay at the Port of Echuca was lovely. Just a short walk to the old buildings of the Port and many options for places to visit and eat. Our room was clean and we had all of the amenities that we would need.

When I had an issue the staff fixed it with no complaints. The bed ended up not being the best for me and my partners back and woke up very very stiff and sore. The size of the bed was great though.

The place to stay in Echuca

Rooms are well appointed with clean and comfortable with comfortable beds, nice bathroom and amenities.

Almost everything with the renovated downstairs #9 motel room was excellent. The only issue was the low WiFi strength, and its signal kept dropping out frequently in the room. The motel reception staff were informed of the issue. We would recommend this motel, but we would ask for a room closer to the main office in future.

Comfy and clean. Pity restaurant was not available.

The property is close to the port of Echuca for restaurants, ease of parking. The bad things are musty smelling room. Bed is lumby so trying to get a goods nights sleep is hard. I travel a lot with business so a good nights sleep is a must. The Colonial Motel just diwn the rd is far better option.

Great people and lication

Upon arrival i was not greeted by the receptionist. She just asked for details of booking and huffed abd puffed like it was all too much. She took a phone call while we were waiting and she was just as rude to the person on the phone. If she was selling the rooms your accommodation would be empty. Cleanliness and housekeeping very courteous and friendly. Would recommend for that alone.

The room was very basic, I expected that Foxtel would be standard

The motel room was clean and comfortable. However, the shower door wouldn’t close completely and so the floor became very wet and the floor tiles dangerously slippery. The bar fridge almost froze a bottle of water.

For price charged the toiletries and toilet paper should be upgraded. Receptionist was lovely plus we got an unexpected upgrade. Restaurant closed on Friday when we stayed???

Staff were friendly and they had great pool area and bar.
