KEEP SCROLLING! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Horrible experience. Apparently we didn't get there in their timely manner because they gave our room away. This was after we paid $120 to get there from Pudong airport. Then had to pay an additional $100 to get to the Hongqiao airport after not having a room. DO NOT STAY HERE! Not only was that horrible enough it is a shady set up.

I was not able to find the hotel, because the address was wrong. It took me to a building with a door that no one answers. So I have to book another hotel.

Room are very small...its studio , put short upper level for another matras for 2. Upper level only enough for sitting...there is sink and a small pantry..but very small for cooking..even for 1 stove. Over all room only enough for 4 people including upper short level...not for 5 or 6.. no space for opening luggages if for 5 or 6 peoples.

i don't normally write reviews, but this was one of a kind, the reception was on 12 floor in some dingy room & the room i was given was on 10 floor (if I remember correctly) The room was ok, but I would not use this place again. The pictures on the internet are deceptive, of what you will actually get ! I think it would be worth about RMB 100 maximum

Nice location but wrong on maps

10mims walk from Hotels.com wrong map direction. It was a nice apartment style hotel with kitchen facilities and clothes washing machine 10 years ago, but it's faded now. Pretty close to the bund, 15mins walk from nearest subway.

Neighborhood Apartment Style Room

This is an apartment building, with various rooms rented out (hotel like). The room was large enough for our family of six. It had a kitchenette, bathroom, comfy futon style bed and a loft for the kids. It was very clean with a nice view. Be prepared to walk...not convenient for cabs. A few grocery stores nearby, which helped! The location is in a neighborhood, walking distance to the Bund-and bus stops. Never really interacted with staff but the bit we did, they were accommodating.

Budget room on North Bund

In the middle of the City on the North Bund we found this room to a discount price. Location was great! Bed very hard and the shower didn't work OK. Part of a hotel that had had better days. But near to everything!

Family stays in apartment

This apartment was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 older children.

Family stay

We are a family with 2 children aged 12 and 9. We really enjoyed staying in the apartment. A funky apartment with character. Great views, all day winter sun. We got sick with food poisoning, and the staff were helpful and understanding, it was a great place to recuperate for a few days. We will stay here again on our way back to NZ.

Dirty, no service, sleeping on the floor.

This hotel shouldn't be considered a hotel or service apartment. It is a series of apartments scattered in a high-rise building that is also part of another hotel. The building is in dire need of repairs and some cleaning. In order to pick up your room key, you must go down a dingy hallway on the 12th floor to the office, but as soon as you head towards your room the people leave and there is never anyone in the office afterward. Luckily we had a phone and were able to call and make a complaint. The room was filthy, the bed wasn't a real bed, but rather a 2-inch worn mattress on the mezzanine, basically equivalent to sleeping on the floor. The room was also freezing. We complained and only then did they say they would clean it, but then offered to change us to another room with a better bed. We took the better room, and the bed was more comfortable, although the room wasn't much cleaner. We decided to stay so as not to lose any money and we also didn't want to waste an entire day looking for a new place to stay. The second room was warmer. Overall, I think this place was overpriced and I would never stay here again, and would recommend to read the reviews attentively, as I thought people were exaggerating but they really weren't. Good location however, close to the Bund, but nothing in the immediate area in terms of restaurants or other amenities, and a 10-minute walk to the metro.

one word " Horrible" .

Worst Appartment Hotel ever!! Don't even suggest this remove from your Site. Its so horribly maintained. There is no proper reception. There is leakage in Toilets. The amenities in the room don't seem to be cleaned for ages. The Room Stinks . The view from the Room & Location is awesome, its a pathetic apartment hotel.

Good for 3 or more

The apartment was fairly convenient (when the description says overlooking the Bund - it means you can see the Bund from your window). Air conditioning and phone didn't work; luckily we didn't really need them in May. If you book this hotel, make sure you print the name and address of it in Chinese as the taxi drivers cannot understand the English version. I made the mistake of printing my Hotels.com confirmation to use. We ended up taking 2 taxis to get there from the airport because the first taxi driver called Mayson and was directed to the wrong apartment building owned by the same company.

Very bad, the shower did not working right, and we waked up early, to take an early flight, and nobody did nothing about it.

Not a great hotel

Firstly, the hotel is in need of renovation, the cupboard is cracked, there is hole on the ceiling, wall crack, I think for this price will got to stay at a better hotel in shanghai.

Loved seeing the sites along the way- 40 kilometers from the airport~ Rather quiet there and no microwave or utensils i.e. coffee cups, dishes spoons, etc. although there was a fridge and one electric warmer with pan. The hallways smelled of urine--rather musty. Other than that, friendly people and very roomy--(room with loft)!

Great location but not for all

This is NOT a hotel but a private apartment (one of several) with no visible Reception unless you know to go to12th floor. That took time! Taxis can't find place but it is obvious when you know it is called Peninsula International Centre on corner of Wusong Rd. There are 3 businesses in this highrise, a 4th if you include the many Vietnames call girls. Travelling with my brother, I needed 2 separate beds so had to book Expedia choice with 4 beds - really only 2 shockingly uncomfortable Queen beds in open space, one reached by stairs on a platform above. Doona was single size. No privacy & definitely not suitable for families unless a trundle or 2 are added. But no room to move then. There are only 2 rooms - the bathroom has a door and the big open space with high ceiling and loft bed. Images are deceiving re size. Chair covers washed but not ironed. Single hotplate with one saucepan. No teatowel or sponge etc. Shower difficult to operate. HWS turned off - so cold showers till I realised the problem. Service was emptying 2 waste bins & replacing shampoo - not obvious over 5 days that anything else had been done. Stepped into apartment over filthy, smelly, carpet in corridor. Would have stayed 3 more nights because of location but tariff offered was more. I stayed 5 wks in Shanghai, in various accommodation & this wasn't by any means the worst. Some things you learn to tolerate - bad plumbing, smoke,smells,hard beds. But the view & lights from 18th floor - spectacular!

Good value, shame about the first impression

the Shanghai Bund Serviced Apartments are situated with striking views of the Bund and Pudong skyline, and the design of the apartments is spacious and pleasing. the building entrance, lift well and foyer are all very dirty and give a bad first impression to what is actually a nice apartment. the train station is about a fifteen minute walk from the apartment and the walk to the Bund area is very pleasant.

Weird managment

We were at the address however unable to spot where were Mayson Shanghai Bund Serviced Apartment. There were no signage or any direction outside. Turn out the "apartment" is kind of outsourced and the rooms are part of the Heng sheng Peninsula international hotel which where the address will bring you to. It felt weird as the lobby was dark with no one at all, i had to call and re-enter from different doors and ask around before i get directed to go straight to the 12th floor.. The "reception" was in a room which also acts like a store room with 2 ladies. i was led to my room, rather spacious but very disappointing as it looks nothing like the pictures. it was dark, not clean and alittle run down. The sofas had stains and they use another set of cloth to cover it (which also had stains!) the kettle and pot had rust and had a layer of oil when i tried to boil water. Totally turn off. place was kind of dirty, there were hair, dust on the floor and even left over noodles bits in the sink.. one of the lamp switch was broken and i nearly had a electricity shock. the place kind of grew on me as i tried to clean up but i still didnt extend as i wanted to initially as i still wasnt uncomfortable in the end..

The location was excellent for sight seeing. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Mayson bund

Defiantly recommend staying here. Free internet, quirky style and good service were appreciated. However I would warn you, one or two bugs around (not the biting type thankfully!) and while it is close to the bund, it's not too close to anything particularly interesting. Pool was out of service when we were there (Sept '11). As with other reviewers, we found it a little difficult to find. Reception is room 1211 as far as I remember. Take the lift in the apartment lobby (adjacent to the hotel lobby) to the 12th floor.

Apartment with bad service.

This apartment is without properly serviced and was dirty. There is not reception, the building isn't marked, so it was difficult to find it (taxi driver called the phone number, don't forget it, without it you can't find it). But it's advantage is that it is really near to center and it is cheap.

Next tome a real hotel is better to support my business activities.

Not so good location

Not a very good location if you travel with kids, subway to far away. Quite close to the Bund but some distance to restaurants.

走進外灘確實很近，但酒店其實很偏僻！附近有很多便利店，還算方便。設施還算完善，但都很舊。

我的房間看不到外灘，價格和品質與服務不相符，還是太貴了，早知道給貴點住好點。但真的很適合一家人住⋯空調可以24小時啟動，很適合夏天去住，一回酒店就很涼快。床很舊，搞的我都皮膚過敏了。

En besvikelse

Rummet var en stor besvikelse! Mycket, mycket smutsigt och ofräscht! "Receptionen" bestod av ett fullbelamrat skrivbord i en av lägenheterna,som för övrigt var full av skräp och bråte. "Två Queensize-sängar" visade sig bestå av en stenhård säng och en 8 cm tjock madrass direkt på golvet. En teve som inte fungerade, dvd fanns inte alls. Pentryt, kylskåp, mikro,husgeråd och gardiner var så fulla av fett och smuts att man inte ville vidröra dem.Spishäll fanns inte alls. Toaletten blev det stopp i vid första användningen, "regnduschen" kunde man inte fästa på väggen, handfatets kran sprutade över hela badrummet. Balkong fanns inte. Lägenheten hade dock en mycket bra planlösning, och har nog varit riktigt fräsch en gång. Med lite renovering och bättre städning skulle vi nog kunna bo där igen. Läget var bra. Nära till centrum och man kunde äta mycket billigt nära hotellet.

사진으로 볼 때에는 깔끔한 곳이었지만 사진보다는 시설의 청결도가 별로였음. 뷰는 괜찮은은 편이었음. 원룸식으로 되어 있어서 객실에서 음식을 해 먹을 수 있는 장점이 있음.

Good to enjoy the city and night view.

It was not well maintained room. It was not easy to find a subway near by. But i like the view of night.

호텔스닷컴에는 위치가 잘 못 표시된 호텔

상해 중심지와 가까워 택시를 이용한 관광에 편리함. 전철역과는 도보로 10분 정도의 거리. 당신이 호텔스 닷컴에 나와 있는 호텔 지도만 가지고 찾아간다면 절대 찾지 못하고 노숙하기 쉬움. 이 호텔은 다른 호텔에 세들어 있으며 간판도 프런트도 없는 상태임. 영어나 중국어를 못하거나 길찾기의 달인이 아니시라면 절대 비추천. 호텔 내부 시설도 가격에 맞추어 적당히 낡은 수준임.

ホテル名から誤り

価格と比較しても、おすすめできません。タクシーも場所がわからず、ホテルの名称も看板から確認できません。全てにおいて清潔感がありません。

很破旧

房间非常破旧，椅子塌了，床垫软的无法翻身，有个小洗衣机，门不好用，经常开不开， 酒店是在一个大厦的上面，大厦里有许多物业，饭店，写字楼，其他的酒店，这样， 唯一的好处是，酒店空间还是蛮大的，可以看到外滩。 其他没有任何想去的理由。。。

長期滞在に適しています

タクシーにホテル名を言っても通じません。また、建物外部にホテル名の表示が（たぶん）ありませんでした。 中国のホテルには珍しく高速wifiが無料利用できます。しかし、部屋によっては受信感度が悪いです。 ミニキッチンがありますが利用しませんでした。 洗濯機と乾燥機が室内に完備してあるため選択には不自由しません。 全室メゾネット式になっているようです。ベットは中国式でちょい硬めです。 駅から遠いのが難点ですが、慣れれば問題ありません。

中国初心者には見つけにくいかも…

外観：建物外観には当該サービスアパートメントの表記は見当たらない。1Fフロントに聞いてもわからい可能性があるので、自力で建物奥のエレベーター（手前のエレベーターは12Fが止まらない）に乗ってフロントを目指そう。 フロント：フロントは建物12Fの一室にある。（分譲タワーマンションのよう）日中はフロントが留守の場合があるので注意。 洗濯機：洗濯機と物干しが完備されているので便利。 Wifi：全室無料Wifi完備を謳っているが、部屋によっては受信状態が悪い。 ベッド：ロフト型のベットであり、日本人には硬いと感じると思われる。

No es 3 estrellas, cuando mucho es 2. Está en buena zona pero yo no lo recomiendo. Me quedé sólo una noche y me cambié de hotel.

Dette "hotel" burde ikke være en del af Hotels.com da det nærmere var et slidt vandrehjem. Selv 1 stjerne ville være for meget. Taxi chaufføren måtte ringe 2 gange til centralen for at finde bygningen. Den såkaldte reception var RIGTIG GODT GEMT på 12 etage (husk ikke at benytte den synlige elevator, for den fører nemlig IKKE derop) i en lejlighed som vi ikke så åben mere end til nøgle udlevering. Man kan sige om lejligheden at den er rummelig. Stolene var stort set uden polstring, men til gengæld havde de et stort hul hvor hovedpuden kunne ligges ned i, så de var nogenlunde til at holde ud at sidde i. Madrassen var ubeskrivelig hård. Det var ikke andet end et vattæppe. Bruse rummet var ulækkert. Der kom dog vand ud af bruseren - koldt. Hvis man ikke er sart, er der en plettet og godt slidt sofa at sidde og se fjernsyn i. Der er et slidt te-køkken. Lejligheden var en møg afslutning på en fantastisk dejlig tur.

abgewohntes Drecksloch mit schönem Blick

Spiegel verschmutzt. Böden dreckig, überall Haare vom Vorgänger, Flure schmutzig mit Essensresten in den Ecken, Teppich fleckig, es riecht nach Schimmel, Wände blättern ab, Duschvorhand schimmlig. Ein Glas vorhanden- mit Preisetiketten, überall Schmierspuren von Schuhsohlen, alles ist schmuddlig und abgewohnt, nur chinesisches Fernsehen, Küche dreckig, Toilette nicht geputzt, aus der Waschmaschine riecht es nach Toilette und der Putz bröckelt ab...........Es ist hellhörig und laut! Noch nicht einmal Jugendherbergsniveau für einen total überzogenen Preis. Ein anderes Paar ist sofort wieder abgereist -Hotelwechsel. Wer noch nicht depressiv ist, wird es garantiert

Ganz OK. Gutes preis Leistung aber hält bis. Das Zimmer das wir hatten war allerdings etwas verwöhnt.

Bon rapport qualité prix

Appart Hôtel de bonne qualité pour les petits budgets. Son point fort et son emplacement à 5 min à pied du Bund. De l'espace dans l'appartement et une très belle vue. La propreté est correct mais peux mieux faire. Matelas un peu dur. Globalement bon séjour.

浴室水壓弱，客房不太衞生，交通略算方便（如果能够乘的士的話），接待服務人員親切。

Nära, bekvämt och lite äckligt

För den som inte tänkt spendera mycket tid på hotellet är detta perfekt. Lobbyn ligger som vi visste upp några våningar i ett rum bland alla appartments. Där inne sov "receptionisten" i sin säng när vi kom mitt i natten för att checka in. Smidigt att det på så vis alltid var bemannat (även om hon var lite svårväckt). På kvällarna är huvudentrén låst och man får gå in bakvägen med kod, vilket krånglade till det lite eftersom vi inte kunde koden. Men vi lyckades hitta en sovande vakt i en vaktkur som efter lite om och men släppte in oss.

遠眺外灘

此酒店為服务型公寓，鄰近外滩，步行到地铁站及各主要景点也只是十分鈡之行程，真的非常方便。再说，我所住的房间可以眺望外滩，每天都可欣赏日、夜之景色，真美妙啊

Séjour a shanghai

Chambre avec belle vue sur le bund mais coupée par d autres immeuble. Chambre vétuste salle et le ménage n'est pas compris dans le prix je pense mais rien pour le faire tout seul. Très décevant , pour résumer crasseux
