My experience was great!

We loved Lukanda, the property is newer and the rooms reflect that. Its very clean and modern. We had a balcony as well which was wonderful for the evenings. This is not a hotel though its more air bnb style. For checkin we received the code and it was very easy. The area is also amazing. Its right by the Seville Cathedral and Alcazar and the views are beautiful when walking.

This property is located in a fantastic place and it was ideal for our trip to Sevilla. Within a 5 minute walk, we could be at the Cathedral, or the Alcazar or the Torre Oro and the river. It is close to public transport too. We stayed in the duplex apartment (3) and it was great. Although we had not realised it was internal so if we went back, we would choose a different apartment. The staff were very friendly and attentive via email and at check in. There isn't a staff member available in the property at all times but this didn't cause any issue for us. The apartment was very clean and ready for our arrival. The bed and sofa was comfy and the bathroom was great too with a very good shower. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would return. It was very convenient too with the self check in locks and doors (codes). It offered good value for money too! Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful stay during our trip to the beautiful city of Sevilla!

Nice place, great location but not 4 stars

Location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t call this place a 4-star though. Two level suite was nice, but much of the furniture was worn out. We have pretty high standard for cleanliness, and this place didn’t quite do it for us, there were quite a bit of ants and flies.

Clean and spacious

The room was very clean and spacious. The shutters for the windows were stuck so the light from the street shone into our room at night since there were only sheer curtains, no blackout curtains. The bed was a little hard for me but my husband liked it. Overall it was great, loved not having to think about the room key, and having a code. Made it very easy!

Location is brilliant to see all the city offers.

The Lukanda Mariana is in a very safe, convenient, walkable position city and the sights as well as bars and restaurants. The cathedral is only a few minutes walk away. We had apartment no.5 which has a private veranda with a table & chairs. This made the room lovely and bright. There are electric shutters to close in the evening. The apt is spotlessly clean and tastfully decorated. There is plenty hanging space for your clothes as well as shelving for your things. There is a TV, kettle, coffee pod machine, fridge and a toaster in the apt. There is a larger communal kitchen you can use on the ground floor. The bathroom/shower room is a good size too. There are free toiletries for your use and there is a good hairdryer. I would definitely rocommend staying here. Communication with Lucia is dealt with very quickly too.

Excellent location near all the big sights. Host was accommodating and helpful. Would recommend.

Perfect stay @ Sevilla

Perfect location at Sevilla, very clean, modern style, helpful host, everything is perfect! Highly recommend!

There is stain on the towel, the floor in the room is not clean, and the glass door of the shower room cannot be closed.

The cleaning crew came in while we were still in the shower. And practically told us to leave because they needed to clean the room. That was extremely unprofessional and very rude. I will not be coming back to this place nor recommending this place at all.

The staff person was incredibly nice. The room is somewhat basic but very comfortable and spacious. I loved the little street it is on, and there are good restaurants very near. It is very close to the cathedral and the Alcazar.

We really loved the place. Only 3 minutes walk from the Cathedral and Alcazar and the tram. There’s a grocery store down the street. Starbucks is around the corner. Restos are all few minutes away. Accessible to everything. The A/C works really good. Place was very clean and bathroom is spacious and has sufficient drawers to put stuff. Easy check-in. I love that there is an elevator for easy luggage transfer. We didn’t really use the first floor, just the second floor where the bathroom and bedroom are located. It was quiet except when someone checked in or arrived at 3am and were loud and voices echoed in the whole building. Never had an issue with the noise. Lucia was very patient in texting me and reminding me of how to check in. It was a good stay. I highly recommend the place! We felt like we were in a hotel with the amenities the place has. Towels/beddings/bed were soft, clean and comfortable. The place was safe even at night.

We had a lovely stay at Lukanda Mariana traveling as a couple in September 2023. Lucía communicated beautifully in advance, access was easy, the location was superb, and the air conditioning was A . We would absolutely stay here again. Note that the front desk is only staffed when needed, so if you require a concierge, this is not the place for you. That said, I am confident that Lucía would be happy to help if you asked. She was lovely!

This property is in the heart of Barrio Santa Cruz… just steps from the Catedral and Alcazar. Staff was responsive via text messaging although we never met in person.

WORST EXPERIENCE.. Only good thing is the location... we had a broken glass door.. sofa bed was impossible to sleep on and was broken.. ants were found on the bed and sofa bed. Advice... take lots of photos and videos to prove to expedia Thank you Expedia for fixing the issue.

It is perfectly located! It’s just a few minutes walk from the Alcazar and the Cathedral, the main street, and the Plaza de Espana! Yet, it was quiet, clean, and pretty spacious. The staff was attentive by message. It was a little disconcerting not having staff on hand hardly ever, but there are information kiosks minutes away, so we got where we needed to go easily.

Exceeded expectations!

We loved our 5 night stay at Casa de Mariana #5! The apartment and bathroom were well-equipped and beautifully decorated, and the bed and pillows were very comfy. My tired legs appreciated the elevator after a long day of exploring. The location of this apartment can’t be beat… just around the corner from the Alcazar and Cathedral, but down a quiet pedestrian street- the best of both worlds! Many great restaurants and public transportation nearby. Self check-in was easy and convenient, and the property manager was always quick to reply to all of my communications. We were able to store our luggage in a secure room. We are already discussing a return visit and won’t consider any other accommodation.

Quiet and modern.

Very close to centre - no more than 5 mins to cathedral and alcazar. Quiet, fully renovated studio with lift access to all floors. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful apartment in historic Seville

Excellent location 3 min walk to the cathedral , clean nice place with many restaurants and cafe around. There is also a room to leave your luggages if needed. You are in heart of historic Seville. No sleep in Seville

We were woken up around 6am by heavy construction next to our room. It was so loud that ear plugs, white noise and sound canceling headphones could not drown it out. When the drilling and hammering was at its worst our room was shaking. We notified the hotel staff and they said “they guess that someone on the street is doing construction…sorry.” They offered nothing to compensate us. It was clear that this was ongoing construction directly next to our room. We were not notified of this when booking the room. This was by far the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had.

Location! Just a few minutes walk from all the top sites in Sevilla. Horse drawn carriages go across bottom of little alley, steps away from tapa bars. Newly renovated.

This is a loft style lodging. It’s beautiful and we had a private balcony. You don’t interact with the staff unless you need something. We needed train tickets printed, we contacted them and they were very helpful!

Amazing place to stay!

Absolute excellent location, modern, clean, roomy and fantastic veranda. My only suggestion is to have a couple of coffee cups. Loved Seville!

The best thing about this apartment was its location, close to all the tourist attractions in Sevilla. The apartment is nicely equipped but the sofa bed left my back aching

Very well located, walking distance to main amenities, you can see the Giralda from the roof top and other magnificent views specifically at sunset, you can admire all the special colors of Sevilla. This is the place to stay, a mini market in the corner, kitchen in the room, internet is perfect and they are on top of details in case you need anything

PERFECT location. Everything I wanted to see was no more than 20 minutes walk away, safe areas, quiet at night, comfortable. Just awesome. Communication with rental people was easy and got very quick response. LOVED it.

The location was amazing, the flat was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Check in/out was seamless. All in all just perfect for a long weekend in Seville :)

Perfect stay in Sevilla

We booked this apartment for 3 nights, very well located, close to the cathedral of Sevilla and the Real Alcazar. Lot of things can be done by foot in the center. The apartment is in a quiet building and street. We had a bit of trouble with the air conditioner but it works. Don’t hesitate to book there !

The locations can’t be beat it’s just steps away from to Real Alcazar and other major attractions. Also, it’s very quiet at night which I appreciated. I’ll definitely be back!

Superb location and having the terrace was a bonus. However, the coffee maker didn't work and the small throw was needed overnight for warmth; a larger guilt and blanket would make the apartment very comfortable.

Really thoughtful decor in great taste- lots of sweet touches. Great location. Worth noting that there are no external windows and the staircase has no rail so isn't really safe for young children.

Excellent coordination with hotel prior to checkin. Transfer from/to airport convenient and timely. Room comfortable with everything you could need including full kitchenette. But the absolute best part is the location... so central to EVERYTHING I could walk everywhere and return to the room whenever I wanted to throughout the day because no sight is more than 10 minutes away. There is also a convenience store nearby and many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for an enjoyable stay in a beautiful city!

The apartment was super cute and clean! The location was extremely convenient, as it was close to most tourist spots or landmarks. We didn't even need to take public transportation. The owners Respond promptly And gave us all the information we needed prior to arrival. There’s a cute little common area where we were able to stay prior to our check in, and after check out. We were even able to leave our luggage while we explore the city on the day of our check out. I will definitely stay again!

We feel conflicted about our 2 day stay. We did not feel welcomed because we did not receive door entry codes until after we started driving from Madrid that afternoon, when we did not have WiFi so could not access the email. We called while standing at the door with our suitcases (and no entry code and no one present to help); the person on the phone was most helpful. The property itself was not what we thought we reserved: it was a 2 story duplex with a narrow spiral staircase and an outside elevator. The photos on Expedia depicted no stairway and no cramped room. A person over 5 feet 10 might feel like a Hobbit and needs to be careful lest he hit his head on the book shelves attached to the spiral staircase. BUT I will add the property was clean and nice, and the location was unbeatable. Parking is difficult anywhere in Seville; we had to park 1-2 miles away. Like I said, we felt our stay was a mixed bag.

Loved this place!

Wonderful staff and place to stay. Steps from Real Alcazar and everything. Loved Seville! Just note you have to walk up 3 flights of stairs. Lift is only for luggage. Not a problem for hubby and myself but didn't read fully before we went but again no biggie. If you can't do steps then look for something on lower floor.

Love the location, everything you need is pretty much in the walking distance. The property staff is very friendly, energetic and helpful. Thanks to make our life easier. The room is a little small but well designed and it bright with natural light.

My stay was great! It had everything that we needed! On the main floor it had a pullout couch and small kitchenette. It included some pots and pans, dishware, coffee maker, toaster and more. Upstairs had a fullsize bed and the bathroom. Everything was clean and spacious. It can get a bit noisy from other guests because the noise just carries through the building. It is nice as the hotel is on a quiet street. The location was fabulous and everything was a 5-10 walk away. I would definitely stay here again!

Best location. Most places are within walkable distance. Cathedral and Alcazar are less than 5 minutes walk. Elevator in the building. Apartment has two floors. First floor has living room with small kitchenette. Upstairs bedroom and full bath. Modern decor and amenities. Safe and very clean. Staff very helpful. Staff came to meet at property prior to checking time . Have space to store luggage if you arrive earlier than checking time. Access code for main door and apartment to access.

Seville - not as advertised

Room not as advertised - booked a room with patio - no patio! Local agent very supportive but all rooms full so could not be moved to a room with patio. Hotels .com advertising this property incorrectly but do not appear interested - they are misleading customers

Great location. Very cute and charming. The important thing to remember that it is an apartment setting so there are no staff on site if you need a problem solved.

Come to Sevilla

The apartment was clean and plenty of room for one or two people. The location was great. The ladies who check you in were very nice. Checking in was a hassle, as there is no front desk and you need to coordinate a meet-up time with one of the ladies who works for the company to receive your passcode to get into the building & apartment. You will receive a lot of messages until you decide on an exact time to meet.. and if you’re on vacation in a foreign country, between trains, taxi, wanting to sleep late.. that can be difficult.

The place was impecable. The staff was friendly and communication was smooth.

We only spent one night in Sevilla at Casa de Mariana, and all I can say is this is a beautiful and very well maintained property! It is also located in the city center and most attractions are within 10-15 min walking distance! You absolutely cannot get a better accommodation in Sevilla. We arrived a couple of hours earlier, and called the office to see if we could drop off our bags while waiting for the check in. The ladies accommodated us and even had wonderful suggestions for restaurants and flamenco shows. We had a wonderful experience! Thank you again!

Beautiful unit and an AMAZING host!!

This place was PERFECT. Beautiful apartment exactly as it appears in the photos. Lovely rooftop terrace to see the many rooftops of Sevilla. Marta, the host for the building, is absolutely wonderful! SO friendly and possibly the most helpful host I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Made many great recommendations for our short stay (all of which we took and enjoyed more than expected) and even helped us get setup with tickets for a Flamenco show at the museum - HIGHLY recommend checking that out while you're there. I fully intend to visit Sevilla again and plan to spend more nights in this building when I do. Thank you so much!!
