Only downfall is the parking. You can valet or I believe there is public parking a few blocks away. We did valet option for ease. Overall great stay and would go back!!

Beautiful Hotel

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Stillwater. It was very walkable to all of the bars and restaurants. It was a great value for the price. Very dog-friendly.

Staff was cold, unfriendly

Loved the stay. Quiet and clean. Friendly staff. Didn’t appreciate the additional, hidden charges for parking and room amenities. The coffee shop in the hotel served luke-warm coffee - instructing my wife to use the microwave to heat her coffee when asking for a hot coffee.

The Lora is our go-to place for a delightful night out. From the warm reception to the great room to the welcoming restaurant and bar, it is always a restful, satisfying stay. Even Walter the golden retriever offers a warm wagy-tailed hello or goodbye. We’ll be back soon!

Highly recommend. Enjoyed MADE coffee and pastry in quiet lovely dining area. Recommend the salmon, our waiter explained all the entres , very personable. Valet service helped unload and load our car. We stayed 2 nites and loved the thick stone walls

It was very unique in that they designed the rooms around existing limestone walls of the former brewery. The manager, Victoria, was so accommodating and personable.

Exquisite setting, decorated beautifully. Wonderful restaurant, bar and coffee shop, tons of history. Absolutely would stay here again!

I love the Lora and have stayed numerous times. My room this time was nice and quiet and clean. I appreciated being toward the end of a hallway too. I love the hotels location being right on the south end of town it’s walkable to everything. The only issue I had on this visit was with the thermostat. The room was set at 74 and took hot for my liking. I prefer to sleep at 68-70 degrees so because I was warm I didn’t sleep well. I tried adjusting it multiple times but the room never cooled down and only increased in temperature. Still enjoyed my stay and will return next time I need a staycation!

Very nice hotel and room. Service was good. The restaurant was very good, the bolognese was very yummy. The only annoying thing was navigating the luggage cart required some very sharp twists and turns.

Great option to stay at while visiting Stillwater. Coffee shop next door. Restaurant downstairs. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms.

The property is unique and has charm. However, the elevator was down the whole weekend, we received an interior room that did not feel premium ( a view of a brick wall) and dinner at the restaurant (Feller) was more experimental than cohesive which left me more disappointed than impressed.

Great stay! All were nice but the elevators were out! Not the best when you have a toddler and a lot of stuff. However they asked us if we needed help carrying up our luggage.

Everything was nice except for being next to a busy street with trucks loading and unloading under our window. Woke up several times to this type of noise. The rest of the stay was great - would stay here again if we had a different room

Unique hotel in an historic building. Lovely exposed brick walls and chic lobby. Very comfortable beds and luxirous shower.

Lora was the cutest hotel! It was super clean, cozy, and the staff was very help and friendly. It was the perfect location in Stillwater.

Excellent staff and amenities. Plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The soundproofing on our window could have been a bit better but it was minor. Overall, I would stay here again anytime.

A perfect boutique hotel in a picturesque town! Highly recommended.

The hotel did live up to the reviews read prior to staying. Street noise was extreme, room was tiny and staff was new and untrained. Price was way too high for the caliber of hotel. Saving Grace was vicinity to town.

Second stay for us at the Lora. The location can’t be beat, the aesthetic is gorgeous and the staff are friendly and accommodating. We plan to come back as soon as possible.

The architecture was unique, close to everything. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Modern and thoughtful furnishings. Helpful staff and super location. It was actually a little bit too loud for sleeping if you’re in a room facing the main drag, even with earplugs. Bed very comfortable with high quality sheets. Great breakfast downstairs and good coffee.

This is a cute hotel with a boutique feel. The cut brick and aesthetics are beautiful. The room is decent sized and the bathroom shower was nice and big. The staff were kind and sincere. Valet parking was well managed. The adjoining coffee shop serves superb coffee and the restaurant had great food.

It is one of our favorite places to go! It was the first time we had holes in our pillow cases. I would never think that would happen there. Plus the prices are getting so expensive that is sad to see that.

Perfect weekend

A weekend getaway. This is an amazing place. The ambiance is so cool. The staff in the restaurant and longe are excellent. Location is wonderful.

This hotel is so cool...great ambience and decor. Connected to a fabulous restaurant and coffee shop and right on the main drag so you can walk to everything. The staff was very friendly with great service and rooms were clean and nicely decorated/stocked. Highly recommend!

Normal daily cleaning of room was not given unless requested could have kept up with little details like coffee in the room

I’ve been staying in Stillwater for six years now. Only recently did I find out about this gem. And I do mean “Gem” I loved my stay. So much so I stayed an additional two nights and then came back for another night. I love the beds I love the quiet. I love the staff.! You will too

It was such a treat to stay at Lora for our anniversary. There is really no parking available off street unless one utilizes the valet service, which we did. The room was comfortable & nicely decorated. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Really liked the unique architecture! Loved the stone (pebble?) flooring in the shower ! Felt sooo good on my feet!

Great place with lots of character but nicely updated and very comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful even calling us when our room was ready ahead of time. Definitely would stay again.

This hotel had great customer service. Cold water bottles were available in the lobby, which was great. Valet service was always quick and convenient. You can walk to hundreds of places from this hotel and it is a beautiful area! The hotel rooms are nice and clean and have all the amenities you could need. Nice fire pit in the front you can sit around and chat, and a great coffee shop with delicious hot cocoa, iced coffee and hot tea! We really enjoyed our visit here.

Not recommended

This was the last time I will stay here. This hotel has ZERO idea what hospitality means. I thought maybe they were ‘off’ the first time I stayed. Nope. Just who they are, as my experience was the same the second stay. For $500 a night and a show box sized room in MN with no view, it is clear they are just taking advantage of the Stillwater tourism scene. I felt both times that I was putting them out by staying here. Bummer.

Great room.

The room was excellent. Loved the style and it was like new feeling. I will say the price point is a little high for what it was but I guess you are paying for location.

The room around the bed area was way too small for accessibility, the toilet leaked water. The pillows were hard. The phone in the room didn’t work. Poor lighting and not enough outlets.

BFF 5 Star Stay

From the minute we pulled up to this beautiful boutique hotel we knew our stay was going to be special. Valet service, luggage taken from car to room.😄 The lobby, bar and our room was beautiful. Room and bathroom are very spacious. Comfortable beds. Everything about our stay was 5 star.

Not worth the dollar

This team needs to work on hospitality and understand what the word means. When we walk in to lobby, no smiles, no 'hello, great to see you' and no courteous feeling comes out of this team what so ever. Esp for the absurd price you are paying for this place. When we walked in, we said 'hello' and the kid at the desk said 'what's up' in the dumpiest way. The team acted like we were more of a burden then having us feel like we were welcome. We checked in 5min before check in time + the team 'had to check' to make sure the room was ready and that we could check in, making it seem like we were not welcomed at 3:55pm. In addition, the rooms are dark and just blah for $400 a night. They are profiting off of the downtown Stillwater tourism crowd. Such a bummer. Which is why, I would assume, the Crosby Hotel down the street is continually sold out and the Lora is not.

This was an okay place to stay. Getting in and out of the building with luggage or bikes is a challenge as there are so many people on the patio near the doors. No electric door either or staff offering help.

Staff was excellent, hotel was super clean, extremely well located in the perfect part of town. Walking distance to everywhere! Coffee shop next door was absolutely amazing!

Super nice boutique hotel and great location! Very clean and comfortable rooms! The only option for parking is paying $30 for valet so that is the only downside. It would be nice if there was a cheaper self park option.

The power went out and was told it was going to be out for at least a few hours if not longer . We left because of the power, talked with staff about at least getting half my money back. They said they would, still was charged for the full amount. Was there only 3-4 hours.

Great hotel with nice, clean rooms and good view of the river. Just note, there is no free on-site parking. There is free street parking (not very close) or valet.

It was a was a wonderful stay! The hotel staff were so accommodating and friendly! The only complaint is there needs to be more lighting in the bathroom. The location in beautiful Stillwater was awesome! Loved it!!!

Interrupted sleep

Every time the air conditioning turned on, it sounded like a clothes dryer with tennis shoes in the tumbler. 302 was very nice otherwise

A good location with easy access to shopping and dining. But parking is hard to find and while they have valet parking it's expensive. There is a lot of noise from the road. The room was also extremely hot when we arrived and the AC was slow to bring the temp down.

Lora was a great quaint hotel. We absolutely loved it and will be back.

Unique building in a cool town.

Plenty of businesses within walking distance. A lot of things you can do there on foot

WHat was unique was the room configuration. I thought they booked me into the janitor's closet. But then I say candy and snacks available. really bad.

The Lora is a very unique property. The King room was small for the price. The restaurant associated with the hotel was excellent. I'm disappointed I booked through Expedia. There were offers available through the hotel that would have saved me $90 if I had booked directly. I'll be more careful next time.
