Nicely renovated little guesthouse.
Nice little guesthouse with great common areas like kitchen & lounge area. Convenient to Cais de Sodre Station.
Located near good restaurants with easy access to city center and other touristic areas. Rooms are renovated and share a nice living room and kitchen area
Excellent location, tidy and nicely decorated. Very practical for business or tourism.
Quaint and older hotel that provides the local charm of the city. Everything you need is close by.
The Guest House was an easy place to land and to launch from. I was not there for long, but my stay was pleasant.
Great location, easy to walk to many locations of interest. Room was spacious and had a nice view on the square below. Room was tidy and bedding was very clean but the carpet was stained and unavoidable (under the bed). The door to the bathroom was noisy and stuck to the floor (hard to open) but the bathroom was clean and functional. Generally quiet unless people from adjacent rooms accessed the unit's shared kitchen, living room or entryway.
Comfort of the rooms, staff were welcoming, and near wonderful restaurants.
Great room and property has a lift which is great No smoke alarm or detectors in this building - it should have at least one Would stay again
Good option for a short term stay.
Room was beautiful and spacious. Water pressure was great. They accommodated our early check in and storing our luggage after our check out. Great communication and value. Would be happy to stay here again.
We enjoyed our 2 nights. The place was large, clean, nice views. John was very friendly and helpful with things to do and getting around town. We would stay there again.
We stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely stay. The room was clean, nicely decorated, large and the bed was very comfortable. Shower was nice and powerful. We appreciated having use of the kitchen and fridge. We found the location to be good. It can get noisy at night from people in the bars below and construction work, but with windows closed and aircon on, it was fine. We would definitely return to this guesthouse
I liked the modern look the room had & the location was close to many restaurants and transportation. I did not like that our AC was broken our whole stay there and no solutions where offered to us nor other options. We asked for another room and were told the other room was dirty instead of having there cleaning person come and prepare another room for us since the AC was out and it was very hot. The check in process was very confusing since the property did not provide accurate and clear instructions on how to access the inside of the property how they promised they would in a message. It was very tedious to get a hold of someone at the property as no one was answering and expedia was not able to contact them either. The pictures online are misleading, the room did not look like what the pictures showed we were going to get.
The room was very clean and the manager very responsive to the issues (mostly having problems to access the facilities). I was let into the room one hour late after check in, and the cab they asked for on my behalf did not arrive.
I was concerned this hybrid of a small hotel and an Airbnb wouldn't work. But: super helpful, laid-back staff. Great little apartment, nicely designed, with a big comfy bed. Your own security codes, giving a further sense of privacy. Would happily have stayed there a few nights, instead of the one. Santos a great part of town that feels more real, away from the bustle of Chiado, and with lots of great food options on the doorstep. If I had to find a negative it would be the walk from the metro, which is about 10 minutes of pulling a suitcase over quite uneven pavement! But definitely don't let that put you off; this place is a unexpected gem.
It is very close to more of what you have to see , very clean and very wellcome !
The
A very nice place to stay but it’s not in the most continent location
Great location away from the crowded, busy, narrow streets of Lisbon. Francisco (property manager) speaks excellent English and was very helpful and hospitable. Keypad access is super secure and it’s great not having to take keys with you. Kitchen and lounge areas are shared with other guests and were scrupulously clean as everyone cleans up after they have used the well-stocked kitchen / dining equipment. Would highly recommend staying here.
A convenient and cozy hub to explore Lisbon. The location is central to most of the neighbourhood and the staff are so helpful. The only hiccup was checking in in which I didn’t really get any instructions. Other than that, amazing stay!
Excelente !!
This is was our first time staying in guest house and we did like it.Room is very spacious, comfortable and clean.Excellent location and you need a parking it’s right outside the door.Parking is under ground, feels very safe and it costs us $16 per day with their voucher.
Easy access to the room, great location and great to have later check-out time
Estancia ideal en el centro de Lisboa
Ha sido una estancia muy agradable. El hotel estaba muy limpio, con muy buenas comodidades, sobre todo respecto a la cama.
Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable.
New modern clean in old place
It was good location and AC every facilities were great! Bathroom was brand new so a bit of paint smell because no window. Overall great! Elevator works great too
Nice and comfortable room. Great location. Check in great.
Estadia excelente!
Estadia excelente! Próximo a tudo e tem um estacionamento público (pago) mesmo em frente ao hotel. O anfitrião (João) muito simpático e prestativo para dar todas as dicas. Com certeza voltarei.
The staff were great. Also, as it seems to be the case in Portugal, they were always cleaning. It's also in a very interesting part of Lisbon
lisbon
Self check in. Close to the center.
1 night stay in room with private bathroom
We enjoyed our stay here. We were only there for one night before leaving Portugal so we did not have the chance to enjoy the common spaces (2 lounges and a large kitchen). We got the room with the private bathroom which was very clean and new. Our room was nice and clean - modern designs. White walls with a nice drawing, large bed, good pillows (though a little bit too firm which seems to be common in portugal), AC (which is rare in Portugal) in our room that we could turn on and off, good lighting and double doors that looked out Onto a back street with some shops and a courtyard. Check out process was excellent - simply drop off the keys into a mailbox before exiting. The check in process was a bit more involved - there is staff there to welcome you but you do need to inform them of when you will be arriving as I think they wait specifically for you (we felt a bit bad to keep her waiting) but she was VERY friendly and nice. Very close to the main areas. Overall, I would recommend this place. I have photos to upload to support my review but the upload is not working on the website and I am getting an error message.
small clean room with shared bathroom, but cheap enough-
Good Stay in Lisbon
Good experience. Clean place, not too many rooms so it's quiet. There are 3 bathrooms for 6 rooms so usually always one available. It also has air conditioning, which is nice in hot Lisbon and not all hotels have. Check-in/reception is specific hours, so make sure you are arriving at the correct times or asking for what you need during those times. Only complaint was the elevator which was filled with construction materials when I got there and then broke. Eventually got fixed. Otherwise I will definitely be back.
This guethouse is great. It is very clean and modern , good location, air condition. staff was very nice and helpfull, provided me info to how explore Lisbon. . It was a pleasent stay.
Nice place to stay
I went as a solo traveler and booked a room with shared bathroom. It was very comfortable and clean. Francesco who works there is wonderful and very helpful in regards to recommendations for tourists. The location is slightly away from downtown but within walking distance and away from noisier streets which was nice. I would definitely stay here again.
Glad we checked in to this Guest House
Had to share the bathroom with people in another room but this didn't cause a problem. Great to have use of the kitchen and living room to relax in. Lots of useful information on the local area and Lisbon provided when we checked in.
Would definitely stay here again!
I am already planning my return to Lisbon, and if it wasn't because the dates are not available. To get there from the airport is about a 15 minute drive. It's very easy to locate, just remember the green door :). There is an elevator that will take you all the way to the 3rd floor; You do have to buzz the host to let you in, but most of the time there is people going in and out all the time. The host gave us wonderful directions on how things worked in the guesthouse, they also have some nice views of the streets where you are staying. Keep in mind that you have to share 3 bathrooms with all of the other guest, however this will not be an issue, I never had to wait for one to be available. You can come in and go as you please, you get your own keys to the building, the house and your room.
Lisbon check in
Had a lovely time staff friendly helpful cooperative, facilities excellent, clean and safe environment would recommend it to anybody place of choice for any future visits
Great place to stay! Would definitely recommend
It was just fabulous, clean, bright, comfortable. All the staff were fabulous, in particular Francisco, who sat down with us and gave us tips on beaches and best places to go to get the best views, he even sent us an email with a list of restaurants. It also really is very reasonably priced.
Great stay with friendly staff
We had a lovely stay. The room was clean, we had the bathroom to ourself all the time. The staff gave us map and good recommendations when we checked in. Liked the location. Sitting room was nice to chill out in
Guest house is not a hotel
I believe, it was my fault to choose this accommodation type as I didn't know the difference between a hotel and a guest house - never stayed in guest houses with shared bathrooms before. It was quite hard to find the house number. Previously, it used to be a huge apartment on the 3rd floor converted into a guest house with 6 rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and a hall/liviing room. The rooms (we had 2) were rather clean, had just beds (nothing else), but smelled terribly like sewerage and we saw some insects like yellow caterpillars in both of the rooms (grrrrr! ). The location is good.
Very nice stay
The guesthouse is clean and we were welcomed very nicely. Very well located near several transportation options to visit Lisbon
really nice. good price/quality!
the hotel was nice and clean. the bed was comfy (though the pillow could be better and there could be an extra blanket). everything was clean and staff was nice an helpful. my main issue was that internet in my room was really poor. but apart from that I was very happy. even though bathrooms are shared there were many and were normally free (I think the hotel was full but I hardly saw other people). I would recommend and would come back. Location is excellent
Simple and well situated
Quite good option for a short stay. Close to public transport and the place has a shared kitchen and living room. Only 5 rooms so it never felt busy. Excellent option for single traveller who likes a little more privacy then bunk beds in an hostel.
Perfect place to stay in Lisbon
This place has everything you need, even a scale to weigh your luggage. Very helpful and friendly staff provided us with recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. If you are a light sleeper, consider a room facing the courtyard.
We booked this pretty last minute and stayed in the only room with a private bath in Feb/March 2016. The Guesthouse was clean, affordable and in a nice location. It gets pretty busy on the street below from Wed-Sat nights but when we had our window closed, we couldn't hear a sound! The shared kitchen and living room added the comfort of feeling at home and it was great for meeting other guests. The staff were extremely helpful and ensured they were accessible for assistance or recommendations anytime! We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the accomodation to anyone visiting Lisbon.
Spotlessly clean
Reasonably priced and spotlessly clean accommodation, but a little cramped. in a convenient area of lisbon
Friendly hotel
Francisco was very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was really clean. No problems at all except finding it. The sign is a bit small so I walked past it a couple of times. The hotel however is great.
Fabulous stay!
Great stay! Lovely, clean room, really nice bathrooms, GREAT owners - very helpful! definitely a good value for what you get!

Our host Joao was incredibly helpful and kind. He was amazing; we chatted with him about everything.
