Absolutely loved our stay! The rainforest outlook was just such an experience! The huge spa bath and comfortable bed made for such a relaxing nights stay. Would definitely stay again.

Linger a While longer if you can

This was amazing, loved everything, secluded, peaceful, had everything you needed. Just time when you go, as not all the little shops and foodies are open when you think.

This property was incredible, The room is presented beautifully and the actual chalet its self is adorable but also so spacious. The surrounding environment is tranquil and peaceful While located right on the main road the property is set back enough and covered by a lush rainforest like garden making it feel secluded and worlds away.

Tge cottage was nice and cozy. Bit smells inside, ( not sure what sort of smell). Limited toilet paper we have to buy some extra.( was less then half roll provided). Fire place gas was running out, to set is up was difficult, coz gas tank was outside at the bush, and we couldn't reaching it, so we didnt bothered. Candles should be more too, but we took some extra with us. Otherwise it was, good. Thank you

Chilly nights

Charles are beautifully set amongst trees, very private, despite being on Gallery Walk. Was disappointing gas ran out so no heating on the second night and spa takes forever to fill but worth the wait! A lovely couple of nights away!

This is a beautiful chalet in a great position to walk out the door and enjoy Gallery Walk and nearby cafes and restaurants. The chalet is beautifully appointed and very clean - a true hidden gem.

This is an incredibly beautiful chalet. Nice modern interior, spa bath was amazing, takes awhile to fill as tank water, yet well worth the wait. Bed extreemly comfortable. Nice and close walk to cafe's and shops, yet hear no street noise from the chalet at all. We will most definitely be returning guests. I must bring to attention, as no signage or warning, if you exit the door to sit outside on the balcony, be aware that the lock does not auto unlock apon exit. Partner and I closed the door behind us to keep mozzies out while enjoying our morning coffee, and got locked out without a key or our phone's 'in our underwear'. Thankfully cafe worker up the driveway seen the humour in this and allowed us to use her phone to call the owner Trish, bless her, whom also seen the humour in this and swiftly sorted us out with the spare key. All in all, wonderful stay, peaceful, quite, perfect romantic get away.

Outside view was serene and pretty. Only thing that we couldn’t get going was the fireplace 🙁 It wasn’t needed, but would have made a beautiful scene. Overall, couldn’t have been happier. I liked that i read reviews about this place as i was going to go for another place. It was so peaceful , romantic and easy to find with all the updates and text messages. The spa bath was amazing with cute little chocolates on our bed , will be going again.

Tranquility

Amazing place, close to the main road yet so private and quiet. Super comfortable King Size bed, relaxing spa bath with a great view. Walking distance to many cafes and shop, brewery and winery.

Beautiful romantic getaway

Even though we only stayed 1 night everything was set up perfectly easy to find and yet we felt secluded and all the food and tourist shops etc were just a short walk away and the room was amazing we loved it

Couple Getaway

What a lovely surprise to find our chalet hidden away and located in a very quiet location. The room was just perfect with everything we needed for a great weekend away. The bed was comfortable, spa was great and the location was very central to everthing. We definitely would return. The only thing we found was at night there were only two places to have dinner.

Comfortable and lovely

We enjoyed our stay of 1 night. When we first went into the property it was colder inside than outside, we put the air-conditioner on right away. The gas fireplace gave a lovely ambience to the property, it was a little temperemental, but found if we turned it off at the wall and turned it back on it worked. We would like to come back and spend a couple of nights there.

Romantic secluded Chalet

Had a much needed relaxing night away. Within walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Chalet had everything we needed, the King bed was amazing, spa nice and spacious for 2 people and the fire was warm and relaxing. Would definitely go back again.

Lovely unit very central to the gallery walk. Good location to visit all that the Mt Tamborine area has to offer.

Absolutely beautiful, great way to relax and get away. Everything was very easy, from collecting the keys to leaving. It's surroundings was lovely, a short stroll along shops with unique buys and lovely chatty shop owners. Will definitely be one of my favourite places to be go.

Quiet Cosy Tambourine Getaway

The chalet provided a great base for adventures around Mt Tamborine and a lovely spot to retreat back to and enjoy some rest in the evenings! Had no interaction with 'staff' do not really fair to rate, but check in / check out process was easy and adequately explained via msg before hand. The aircon in the room turned off a few times during the night, and there seemed to be quite a significant water pooling from the front of the shower area, suggesting a leak perhaps, but other than that the room was very nicely decorated, comfortable, positioned perfectly, quiet and private and all round a lovely place to stay!

Amazing in every way.

The best night away we have ever had. Everything was perfect, right down to the little touches like chocolates on the bed, bath bombs for the spa and a fireplace to relax by. Photos don't do this place justice.

Fire place . Aircon. Late October we opened windows ( screened). 15 Degrees early morning. Very Private , Peaceful , Scrub Turkeys visit you. Rain forrest ,birds, butterflies. Aroma of flowers. Very Romantic Chalet , choclates , teas, coffees , bottledwater ,milk . Tank water ,must BOIL . Extra towels .. Wonderful Hosts. Thoughtful. Went there tired and came away Glowing The Peace , Privacy , Romantic Chalet , huge bed , luxury spa. The Rain forrest ,birds.

Great Chalet - Great Location

Went looking for and found great accommodation with the Linger A While Chalet in an excellent location - Eagle Heights (Mt Tambourine). Definately recommend both accommodation and location for those looking to have one or more nights out of the hustle and bustle of city life.

Lovely chalet, well appointed with everything we needed for a stay in Mt Tamborine. Off the main tourist strip in Eagle Heights, very quiet location with a beautiful outlook onto rainforest. Would stay here again. Trish communicated very well with us so we knew exactly where to get the keys. Thank you for a great stay!

Relaxing & Secluded

It's the last of 6 chalets, hidden in the rainforest. It's quiet, and has a great view of the forest through the huge front windows. The upgraded interior is clean & modern. The spa is wonderful to relax in after a great day walking around all the shops, cafès and waterfalls in the area. We had read a few reviews before we went and one said that shops close early at about 4pm which we assumed was on the weekend but as most shops are open 7 days they do nearly all close at 4pm. Plan ahead for dinners as there are a couple of really great restaurants in Eagle Heights within walking distance, but some are over in Nth Tamborine so it means a quick 5min drive. Loved staying at Linger A While and would highly recommend as we'd be happy to stay there again.

Little Gem

Great little gem in the heart of Mt Tamborine. Very quiet and relaxing. Easy check in and check out - keys are in a lock box. Spa bath overlooking he garden. Only downside was that there were no curtains on the main windows and door.

Linger a While is such a beautiful place! We loved it!

Perfect for a romantic getaway

This room was one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in and the location is just perfect. Feels like you're deep in the rainforest but in reality you are steps away from the centre of the village. The communication from the owners after booking was great and after we accidentally locked ourselves out of the room they arranged for someone to come let us back in straight away. I couldn't fault the room - perfect for a romantic getaway regardless of the season.....spa bath, fireplace and DVD's like The Notebook and Dirty Dancing there to watch if you want. We stayed on a Saturday night and despite the location being right on Gallery Walk (where most of the shopping is) in Tambourine, were surprised to find everything closed at 4pm! There was only two places open for dinner so thankfully we hadn't indulged and were able to drive to North Tambourine (which also had limited options for dinner) so I would recommend you take some supplies like wine & cheese to enjoy in the room in the evening. The room was so beautiful we're already planning to return again in the winter. 5 stars for me!

Amazing Chalet, just off the main street but felt like in the middle of nowhere. Very private, beautifully decorated and amazing spa tub. Only thing missing is there is no WIFI

Close to everything and with everything we could need. Lovely rainforest outlook. Decor a bit dated but fine. The full wall mirrors next to and behind the bed are a bit weird. Plus the bed is way too soft. But overall excellent!

Right on Gallery walk

The accommodation is directly off gallery walk about half way along. I was very surprised how quiet and comfortable the rooms were. The setting was lovely, it felt very private with a lovely bushland view.

Lovely cottage in the heart of the Gallery Walk

We stayed in the Linger A While chalet on a Friday and Saturday night. The location was easy to find and the directions, provided by Trish, the hostess, were perfect. The studio cottage had everything we needed, even a gas fireplace. We were able to easily walk to everything there was to see in Eagle Heights, and it was a 5 minute drive to North Tamborine, where we had dinner on Saturday.

Secluded little paradise

Room was absolutely lovely, my partner and I stayed from Friday to Sunday. The restaurant were a short walk from the chalet and the food was all amazing.

Romanic and perfect position

My partner and I stayed for our anniversary, great experience very comfortable bed, they had romantic movies and chocolates for our stay, very clean and tidy, perfect location right in the middle of tambourine shops and eateries. All contact with hotel was easy and very polite. We were so happy and definitely going back.

Great Stay

Loved the spa bath and comfy bed! The fact this chalet is right down the back and away from the road adds to the feeling of seclusion, despite being only a minute stroll from Gallery Walk and heaps of cafes.

Secluded chalet, but a short stroll to restaurants

We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary at this adorable and secluded chalet, and will certainly be back again! I was surprised at how quiet and isolated this chalet was, but it was only a short stroll, up the boardwalk and driveway to "The Gallery Walk", with lots of dining and shopping options. The chalet exceeded our expectations. It was very roomy, with all the comforts of home. The decor was amazing. The spa bath was a winner. It was a very romantic setting for a very special weekend. We also ventured out and went on 3 different bush walks, with waterfalls, creek crossing and rainforests. AMAZING!
