verty clean and friendly

Mediocre experience.

No one greeted us upon arrival. We had to bring our luggage in and manage it until after we checked in. Service overall was poor except for a couple of the staff members were helpful. The beds are terrible soft and uncomfortable. Room service was difficult to order and no follow up.

It was a very satisfying trip.

The position of this hotel is wonderful. Some rooms have a magnificent view of the lake. Also the entrance hall is impressive. Our Room showed its age; bathroom has been remodeled; very simply furnished. Towels were greysh and looked like they had been in use for a long time. Biggest disappointment was the sauna / bath house. Visibly old, small for the size of the hotel, just two stall for hair drying, no fancy lotions.. my local YMCA looks fancy in comparison. Hadbeen in use for a long time.

Stay for 3-5 days if possible to enjoy all the property has to offer. The lounge is comfortable and the staff are very accommodating. We had a great time.

Location top, food flop

This is a family hotel; well located and if you have a room to the lake, the view is really nice. On the downside: food! The only available restaurant is like a canteen and works only if you have a Korean phone number. The buffet either was not working at dinner or was booked out. Very disappointing.

Amazing stay in every way

Parking was easy. Breakfast buffet was reasonably priced with good selections. Large but sparse room with Korean floor, better than carpet in my opinion. Sound insulation can be better. There is a fee for using the swimming pool, I have never seen that in my life but I guess it’s common in Korea.

If you want to stay in Gyeongju, I strongly recommend staying in Lahan Select!

Family friendly venue. Pools are smaller than expected and too many people in the pools.

Initially we toyed with idea of staying around the lake or staying in town? The Lahan Select is a beautiful comfortable hotel by the lake. It is not an expensive cab fare to town and other nearby attractions. Our room over looked the lake which was lovely and made our stay very peaceful. We struggled with the concept of having to pay a ridiculous fee to use the pool and for the exorbitant cost of a buffet breakfast (which we chose not too). However, the hotel does have another area within offering a selection of different food options set up like a food hall which was reasonably priced, very clean and a good selection of delicious food. It would have been great if was open for breakfast too. Staff speak little to know English but not a problem as they were very obliging and we still managed to get by. As a luxury hotel it would have been great if they ran a regular shuttle service for guests in an around town. Perhaps we have been spoiled as this is the norm with many hotels back home in Australia and the thought of having to pay to use a hotel pool is just absurd. Overall, a comfortable and peaceful stay and we look forward to staying again. Thank you!

It is very nice hotel. Kind staffs, nice view, quiet place, many activities for kids. Restaurants are little bit pricey. Hard to adjust room temperature with A/C.

Nice Location And Ambiance

Very good experience

One of the standout features of this hotel is the stunning lake view from my room. Waking up to the serene sight of the lake each morning was truly a highlight of my stay. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with a smile. However, there are a couple of areas where the hotel could improve. The dining options were somewhat limited. Furthermore, the amenities in the guest rooms could use some upgrading.

Very nice hotel however the restaurant Market 338 is not up to the standing of the hotel. We felt rushed from the outset (although there were very few people), food was rather bland and wine was awful and in a plastic fake wine glass. Hotel has an awesome location next to the lake

The property was situated in a lovely area with a great view. Well maintained and clean. The staff were professional but less friendly than other hotels we stayed over our Asia tour.

Our recent cherry blossom trip to Gyeongju, Korea, was made even more delightful by our stay at the Lahan Select Hotel situated right in front of Bomun Lake. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and the stunning views of the lake. Upon entering our room, we were pleased to find it impeccably clean and thoughtfully furnished. Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of delightful. From the great location to the impeccable cleanliness and friendly staff, it exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Gyeongju and look forward to returning in the future.

I stayed at this hotel 10/18-19 and they shut down whole air conditioning system already so I can’t turn on air conditioning at all. It was almost 75degree and I couldn’t sleep at all because too hot since I can’t turn on air conditioning. It is ridiculous that only hotel controls air condition or heater not customer in 5 star hotel and when I complained this to the front desk they don’t care. Also when you stay at Mountain View room, you can hear everything. It was even 12th floor, I can hear every noise from the road. It is very busy road and there is much traffic so room was very noisy. You better book river view room with extra money to get quiet room. I stayed at Hilton Gyeong Ju last year and Hilton was so much better service and better location. I won’t go back to Lahan again!!

The staff here are extremely welcoming and hospitable. We had a wonderful stay and we like to thank Mr. Gyuseok Heo, assistant room manager with his help for navigating Gyeongju.

Mostly pleasant stay

This hotel gives the appearance of a luxury hotel from the drive up and the lobby, but hallways of the upper floors are dark with low ceilings. Despite the pricing and the luxury appearance, between the hardwood floors throughout the rooms and a lack of sufficient insulation, you can hear every stomping step of the neighbors above. Despite there being 5 elevators for the guest room floors, you always have to wait forever for one to get to you, and expect to have to squeeze into a full elevator. Also, if you park in B2 level, you will have to take one of the guest room elevators to level 1, walk across the length of the building, and then take a second elevator. Not very convenient or well-designed. Rooms are basic and a bit bare, and ceilings are oddly low, but beds are very comfortable, shower is nice, and view is not bad even though we weren’t on the lake side of the building.

호텔 객실 크기나 청결도 면에서는 정말 좋았습니다! 다만, 호텔과 시설에 비해 스태프가 부족한 느낌을 지울 수 없었네요. 벤앤제리스 캐빈도 방치된 느낌이라 안타까웠어요ㅜ 주말이라 그런지 아이들과 함께 온 가족단위 손님들이 많았던 것 같습니다. 체크인은 아예 4시 반 이후 정도에 가니 웨이팅 없이 할 수 있었고요. 다음방문시에는 평일에 좀 더 쾌적하게 방문해볼까 합니다 :)

Excellent breakfast and service -

The property is huge. Rooms are clean. Nice size bathroom. Staff is courteous and friendly. There didn’t appear to be any bellhops to help with luggage - neither checking in nor out. That seemed odd for a hotel this size. The only on-site dining is in a food court-style place with different cuisines (Chinese, Italian, etc).

Hotel with a great view, service and comfort

The hotel facilities are good and I enjoyed my stay. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable with amazing views of the lake. The location is quiet with some restaurants and nice cafes but may need to walk a bit, it’s a scnenic walk along the lake though, views compensated for the distance. The location is a bit further from the tombs and shopping areas but well served by buses and taxis. For taxis, I had problem hailing one willing to go to the hotel area at night.

4성급호텔의 타올이 동남아시아와 비슷한 상태임 . 수건이 보다 흰색으로 세탁하거나 새것으로 교체함이 좋을 듯함

룸 청결상태가 아주 불량입니다. 첵크인후 입실하여 냉장고를 열어보니 전 투숙객이 취식후 남기고간 음식물이 그대로 방치되어 있었습니다.

편안하고 청결함

5성급에 안 맞게 방음이 잘 안됩니다. 그러나 화장실 만큼은 좋습니다.

전반적으로 만족하는 호텔이었습니다.

숙소가 너무 건조했어요. 겨울에 가습기는 필수. 주차장이 호텔 규모에 비해 작으며 주차하기에 구조가 복잡합니다.

청결함에 일단 오케이~ 실내수영장은 깊이가 깊지않아 7세이하 아동이 놀기에 좋았습니다. 볼링장도 있어서 야간에 아이들과 함께 볼링치기도 좋았습니다. 너무 즐거운 여행이었습니다. 아! 1층에 룸으로 꾸며진 포토부스가 있는데 한 5~6가지 테마로 셀카 찍을 수 있는 곳이 있는데 여기서 인생 가족사진 건졌네요~ 1시간정도 사진찍으며 즐거운 시간 갖었습니다.

소음이 심하다는 후기들을 간과하지 마세요

호텔의 디자인은 훌륭합니다. 하지만 벽간, 층간 소음은 물론 복도에서 들리는 발걸음 소리까지 모두 들립니다. 3박 4일 일정이었는데 호텔에서 묵은건지 광장에서 묵은건지 구분이 안 될 정도로 소음이 심합니다. 옆 방에 아무도 없었다면 아주 훌륭했을텐데, 정말... 소음이 너무 심각합니다.

정말 많은 나라와 도시와 호텔을 가봤습니다. 그러면서, 그 호텔의 진짜 수준을 가늠하는 제 나름의 기준이 생겼어요. 그 중 하나는 '샤워를 해 보는것'입니다. 샤워부스에 들어가서 각 구석을 살핍니다. 물때나 곰팡이가 있는지 보지요. 물을 틀어봅니다. 층에 상관 없이, 높은 수압과 일정한 물온도가 유지되어야 합니다. 그리고 그 호텔의 maintenance상태와 house keeping 수준이 가장 적나라하게 드러나는것이 배수구 물빠짐의 속도지요. 놀라운 것은 출장과 여행으로 셀 수 없는 5성급 호텔과 리조트을 다녀 보았지만, 이 샤워부스의 간단한(?) 청결조건들이 빠짐없이 깔끔하고 갖추어 진 곳이 그리 많지 않았다는 점입니다. 그리고 더불어, 다시 이 도시를 방문한다면 이 숙소에 다시 머물러야 겠다고 생각하게 한 호텔도 많지 않았습니다. 그런데 라한호텔은 이 두가지 모두에서 참 만족스러운 곳입니다. 나흘을 연박했고, 세번의 하우스키핑서비스는 흠 잡을 데 없었습니다. 처음 아주 세밀한 실수 (전 고객이 마시던 물이 냉장고에 들어있었습니다)는 아주 빨리 바로 잡아주셨고, 단 한번의 요청도 아주 신속히 해결해주셨어요. 모든 스텝은 친절했습니다. 아 또 하나, 객실로 올라가는 엘리베이터가 무려 다섯개 입니다. 객실을 20층 넘게 지어놓고 엘리베이터 두 세대 운영하며, 시간소요에 따른 불편함을 모두 고객에게 전가하는 호텔들도 많은것 아실겁니다. 라한 호텔은 철저히 숙박객의 입장에서 생각한 호텔이란 것을 엘리베이터 갯수를 보며 알 수 있었습니다. 이 정도 시설유지가 대도시에 있었다면 어떻게 유지될지, 그리고 극성수기가 되면 또 어떻게 될지 알수는 없지만, 적어도 제가 머문 시간 동안은 세계 그 어느나라의 호텔에도 뒤지지 않는 관리와 서비스를 제공해주셨습니다. 밤 10시에 일정 후 녹초가 되어 돌아왔는데, 샤워시설이 썩 만족스럽지 않거나, 물빠짐이 잘 안되서 샤워거품이 잘 내려가지 않는 경우의 그 짜증스러움... 아시는 분이라면, 이 곳은 하우스키핑 하나만으로도 선택할 이유가 될 겁니다. 하우스키핑스텝 포함 제가 마주친 모든 호텔리어들께 감사합니다.

실망스러운 라한...

4번째 방문이었어요. 늘 만족했었는데.. 이번엔 좀 별로 였어요 샤워기 수압이 약했고.. 제가 흰티셔츠를 객실에 두고 왔는데.. 전화해서 물어보니 그냥 없다고 하고 마네요 분명 침대에 두고 왔고 색깔이 같으니..침대시트랑 함께 세탁실로 간거 같은데...너무 성의 없네요 전세계 호텔 많이 다니는편인데... 이렇게 실망스러울수가.....

보문호수단지내에 있어요. 호수풍경 너무 훌륭합니다. 면도기. 치솔. 치약은 없으니 미리 준비하세요^^

Hôtel confortable au bord d’un lac

Hotel très confortable situé au bord d’un lac avec un très bon service. Seul bémol, nous avons dû faire une queue pendant plus de 20 minutes pour accéder au petit déjeuner. Comme l’heure de fermeture est 10h, c’est inévitable. À revoir.

룸 컨디션과 직원들의 친절등 모든 것이 완벽해서.. 학회 참석 후 편하게 쉴 수 있어서 너무 좋았어요. 다음에 가족들과 함께 호캉스하러 가고 싶어요^^

저에게는 흔치 않은 실망스러운 후기

직원분들 모두 친절하고, 룸서비스도 합리적인 가격에 맛있고, 시설 또한 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 그런데 2일차 새벽에 객실 조명이 혼자 깜빡이기 시작하여 잠을 설치게 하더니 결국에는 조명이 켜진채로 유지되어 부득이하게 카드키를 뽑고 잠을 청해야 했습니다. 동네 모텔에서도 있을 수 없는 일이 5성급 호텔, 그것도 스위트룸에서 있었다는 것이 매우 실망이었습니다. 새벽에야 직원 분들도 해줄 수 있는 일이 없다는건 이해합니다만 그 이후 체크아웃 할 때 먼저 언급하기 전까지는 사과나 후속조치를 받지 못하였다는 점도 매우 실망이었습니다. 좋은 숙소와 직원분들의 친절함 속에서도 실망스러운 기억이 되었다는 것이 참 안타깝습니다.

항상 만족스러운 호텔입니다.

경주에 오면 항상 숙박하는 호텔입니다. 벌써 20번 가까이 숙박한 것 같아요. 경주 근처에 힐튼 말고는 라한이 제일 좋았던거같습니디. 특히 마켓338은 식사 해결하기 정말 좋은 곳 같아서 라한만 방문합니다.

음식은 정말 최악 입니다. 룸서비스랑 식당가랑 둘다 별로에요

가족의 추억이 있는 곳이라 계속 오게 되는 곳~~ 청결, 친절 최상이고 룸서비스도 부페 식당도 합리적인 가격임

깔끔하고 정돈된 공간, 과하지도 부족하지도 않은 호텔 내 설비, 노을이 아름다웠던 보문호수, 합리적인 가격과 맛을 가진 다이닝 코너, 친절한 직원의 응대까지. 여행에 지친 몸과 마음을 달랠 수 있는 시간이었습니다. 방음이 잘 안된 것은 옥의 티였지만, 그 옥의 티 마저 지울 정도로 만족스러운 순간이었습니다.

소음이 아쉽다

침구가 무척 편안했음. 단, 층간 소음이 걸러지지 않고 들어오는게 흠이다. 제일 상부 층 객실을 쓴다면 괜찮겠지만, 일반 객실은 소음에 민감한 사람이라면 힘들수도 있을듯.
