Nice place .., has a kitchen and washing machine in each room.

Located at the easiest accessible point by metro and good for other entertainment areas, I would definitely recommend this hotel for any guests travelling for pleasure.

Very nice property its older and could use some updating in the kitchen and bathroom. Overall a great value for the price!

The price is ok, the location is good, but the facilities are too old, especially the toilets.

Convenient but too many problems

Convenient for getting around as close to Jing’an Temple & the metro station. The first apartment was a large room with a bookcase separating the sleeping & living areas. The toilet was poor & wouldn’t stop flushing initially. But, we arrived back c10:30pm on our 2nd night to find water dripping steadily from the ceiling. A staff member came quite quickly but didn’t really want to move us till the next day until we pointed out a 2nd new damp patch. She then moved us but it was a much smaller room than we’d paid for, though mercifully no leaks and a better toilet. I assume it would have cost us less but there was no offer of a refund. There weren’t any staff available when we checked out & we couldn’t hang around as we had a train to catch but the security man downstairs took our key card and gave us our deposit back. The walls in the 2nd apartment were heavily scuffed and both apartments needed redecorating. The ceiling of the 1st apartment showed very clear evidence of previous leaks which wasn’t very encouraging but was prescient for what happened. I’d like to recommend but I think they need to put more effort into maintenance to make it good value for the price paid.

I have a great stay at Ladoll , every thing that I wish to eat and shop is near . No complain .

Great location

Location is great. Was a little noisy from outside on first night but still bearable. Great place to stay near malls and scenic places.

Our small and cosy apartment with kitchen was right in the centre of Shanghai in a very convenient location near the subway and by a very impressive temple. Nice upmarket area. Great value for money Very well maintained. Daily cleaning. Helpful staff who speak English. We enjoyed our 3-night stay there.

Never stay again

Air conditioner is noisy and also outside noise was heard clearly. A cockroach was found in bath tub and it is alive. Quilt looks clean but a little humid which made sleep not comfortable. Overall the facility were out of date though well equipped of kitchen and washing machine.

Pet-Friendly Lodging in Shanghai

In Shanghai with my cat to get a health certificate for export back home. Great location, close to the Jing'an Temple and the metro. Clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English well.

Very good value

I stayed 12 days at Ladoll. The suite room was large and comfortable. The kitchen with clothes washer was a nice bonus. I loved the Jing’an neighbourhood! Less than five minutes walk to the subway. Not five star fancy, hard bed mattress and slow wifi aside, I will stay again on my next visit to Shanghai.

Nice location, half block to the Jing An Temple.

If I plan to stay in Shanghai for a longer period of time, this is definitely a place I would choose! It has a little kitchen, has a small laundry machine to use and the location is so close to the subway. This is more of an independent apartment type than the regular hotel.

Nice and comfortable

Overall it is nice, plenty of restaurant close by. Room is roomy and clean. Close to one of the attraction Jing An temple. I will stay again.

A Service Apartment Feels Like Home & Pet Friendly

I absolutely love this place. I stayed here with my dog for a night only but the experience will last a life time for me. The standard studio I stayed at was lovely and comfortable with a warm ambience.

Great little hidden treasure

For short term stays, it is a little bit expensive however for long term stays this is a great serviced apartment and a wonderful location. If it was not for the price, I would definitely be staying there more often. Not to far from the station, the location is connected in a very central location with easy access to most if the city. Many places to eat, drink and catch up with friends over coffee are available.

Great hotel, excellent location

My partner and I stayed here in July before we left China. We stayed for three nights with our dog. The room was very comfortable. Equipped with a small but full kitchen, and a washer/dryer unit, it was very ideal if you want to stay more than one night. The room was just enough for two people and a dog, and had a large TV. They also have an extensive DVD collection you can borrow from. Cleaning staff came each day to tidy up. The staff does not speak much English, but you're in Shanghai, so expect that. The location is about a five minute walk from Jing An temple, and also to the Jing An subway stop. There is excellent food around the corner, including a good Hong Kong style restaurant, a dessert place, and if you have a hankering for donuts, there's a Dunkin in front of the temple. Can't beat the price, location and comfort.

Cozy serviced residence/hotel. Allows dogs.

The Ladoll is a very comfortable hotel only a short distance walk away from Jing An Temple. It is surrounded by different restaurants, including Western-style, Hong Kong and Chinese food, as well as bakeries, bars and convenience stores. Perfect for visitors to Shanghai, if you plan to stay longer than a few nights. We stayed for three nights with our dog and the room was very comfortable. We had a one-bedroom with a small living room, kitchen and bathroom - all completely equipped and furnished. Plenty of storage space and a working safe. As other reviewers said, don't let the check-in area fool you: it's much nicer than that. They have a large collection of DVDs to watch, as there are basically no English TV channels (I found one but it wasn't consistenly English). On foot, it is very easy to find, if you exit out of Line 2 off of Jing An stop and keep the address handy.

Great value and location but basic

If you're looking for great value in a great location, then this place works. It's a serviced apartment so there's a mini kitchen, lounge and good sized bedroom. Location is great - just 2 mins from Jingan Temple and the metro stop, with great shopping nearby. It's quite Chinese in style and the quality of furnishings and room is more three star than five, but at this price it's hard to go wrong. Reception is in a room no the second floor and they check you in there so service is limited. No concierge or room service, so if you're new to China you may want more support. But if all you need is a good sized good value room you can't beat it.

Not too Bad

Had a reasonable stay at Ladoll for a week. Stayed in a Superior Suite (518) which was comfortable but smaller than indicated in the photos provided by the Hotel. The kitchen facilities were poor mainly comprising a battered pan and saucepan and jug, with no toaster, and a couple of knives spoons etc. The microwave and fridge were old but in good working order. Room cleanliness was OK although am not sure how frequently the bedding was changed. The entire suite was NOT in good general condition and obviously was due for renovation. There are no foreign TV stations provided although CCTV does have a reasonable English language News channel. Staff were helpful and efficiently arranged a taxi which arrived on time for trip to the airport. I paid about Au$130 pd for the suite which I thought to be a bit overpriced -although this particular area of Shanghai is expensive.

Nice Rest in Shanghai

I was really pleased with room and was grateful for the helpfulness of the staff. Unfortunately I was too tired to venture out alone late at night into the neighborhood, but it seemed to be close to many shops and restaurants.

Great value apartment near the Jingan temple

Lovely furnishings and facilities for a few days in Shanghai, and the staff were great after we arrived very late. Great value.

Great location just off a main road and 5-7 minutes from the metro station and Jing'An Temple. Hotel staff weren't present upon check out and that caused some extra time that was unnecessary, other than that, the stay was good.

Good stay

The hotel is a bit older and the lobby looks worn. However the rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Very near to Jingan station.

Good location, don't expect too much service.

The location is excellent! Close to everything in JingAn. Things are kind old in the partment, but it is still okay to stay. I am a regular visitor in Shanghai, so I don't need any service such as calling a cab or ask where to visit. The reception is kinda simple on the second floors. The house keeping is good, they keep everything clean everday.

Brilliant location, great service

Location is brilliant. The size of the apartment is great especially when staying for a week, even if your on business. The internet is a little slow which is the biggest frustration, but with numerous cafes across the road you can just go there and use the free wifi. It would be brilliant if there was at least a toaster in the kitchen and even better if there was an offer of a small starter pack to buy which included fresh milk and jam and butter etc just some basic essentials so you could actually make your own breakfast. While there is a convenience store downstairs, its a waste to buy larger sizes of milk,sugar, jam and butter when your only staying for a week. Put this into a 100CNY starter pack and life as a guest would be very simple. The staff are very very helpful with really good english. Highly recommend the apartment and I will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a lot

It has been nice during our stay there. Everything was fine; however, the room that we had given was so nearby in the corner of the street, a serie of huge noise coming into our room from the construction areas and/or people speaking in high voices from local business early in the morning.

great value for money

I stayed in Ladoll during my business trip . The room was huge , a proper one bedroom apartment . It came with fully equipped kitchen and big bathroom . The room interior is slightly tired but still pretty decent . The place is quiet , no much noise from the street . The room has the best bed I had in Chinese hotels , I had very good sleep . WiFi was good and free . Room was cleaned every day . In summary I think it's a great place to stay and close to the metro station . I would definitely stay there again.

Great location, good service

The hotel is steps away from Jing An temple, line 2 and 7 subway. Location is great. The reception is very friendly, service very good and courteous. The back-facing units are extremely quiet, a wonderful feature for a hotel in the center of Shanghai. Few things I dislike: even though each room has its own modem, the wifi speed is slow, maxed out at 1.6mbps --- the mattress is a tad too hard for non-Chinese -- water pressure in shower is weak with hot water not running constantly -- the AC in my unit faces the bed, so the air blows almost directly to you.

Good location. Kitchen facilities came in handy especially concerning preparing fresh chicken for my dog. Very comfortable bed and quiet (provided windows closed). Friendly staff.

comfortable apartment with kitchenette, living room, and bedroom. Clothes washer/dryer was a plus. Staff was very friendly and responsive to requests. Close to JingAn Temple and shopping, nice park nearby, and two Metro lines (#2 and #7) within 5 minutes walk. Many good restaurants in the area as well as food stalls (mantou, steamed buns), KFC and McDonald's. I needed something more than a hotel for a one week stay in Shanghai and this was perfect.

Quiet street two blocks from Jing'an Temple.

My room was the best I had in China. Large, clean, quiet. The office had DVD's for loan; the subway was two blocks away; an early morning taxi to the airport was easy to flag.

Absolute bargin

The Hotel is in a great location with plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance The room was spacious clean and reasonably well laid out. The Wi-Fi connection was very good, this can sometimes be a problem in China. There were a full size fridge hot plates and a microwave for people that want to prepare their own meals. There is a supermarket a two minute walk away. To put it simply for seventy dollars a night this place was a bargain

工作人员热情，有事能及时得到解决，但卫生间厨房设备太陈旧，需修理更新。

地理位置很好，工作人员热情，有问题能及时解决。但厨房，浴室条件太陈旧，厨的装饰已剥落，洗脸池太差。看上去周围一圈发黑，这点很不满意。房内工作人员打扫负责。

位處靜安商圈，交通便利，好吃的餐廳、麵館、小籠包很多房間大又有整套的廚房，C P值超高很值得推薦

今回洗面台の取り替えが滞在中にあった。また、別の部屋の工事の音がずっと響いた。

진안사 역에서 가까움 요즘 구글에는 검색하면 제대로된 장소가 나와서 찾기가 쉬움. 룸컨디션은 괜찮은 편이고 주방이 있어 간단한 음식을 해먹을수있음. 주방에 보일러가 있는데 샤워를 하거나 할때 온수를 틀면 보일러 소리가 너무 큼 그외에 큰 불편함은 없으며 다음 출장시 또 이용할 계획

静安寺からとても近く、周りも静かです。 洗濯乾燥機、冷凍室付き冷蔵庫が備えてあったのでとても助かりました。 部屋も広く快適でした。

とても便利なエリアで良かったです。 皆さん親切で、また泊まりたいと思えるホテルでした！

コロナ禍以降のホテル

コロナ禍以前、何十回とこちらに宿泊しました。部屋によって、家具、調度品が違いますが、この4年間で綺麗になりました。以前は空港から静安寺までリムジンバスがありましたが、今はありません。私は地下鉄を利用しています。ホテルの言語は、中国語か英語です。日本語は通じません。 コロナ禍で静安寺付近も変わり、店舗も入れ替わっています。一階にファミリーマートがありまます。上海も物価高で、その上円安ですのでし食事代に余分にみる必要があるでしょう。

スタッフは丁寧で無駄なやり取りもなく、とても居心地がよい。ロケーション最高、老上海の雰囲気を味わえる最高のホテルです。次も絶対ここに泊まると思います。

I enjoy my stay there

Very comfortable place. Very near to the subway line 2 and 14 from there you can easily go where you want in Shanghai. I recommande the place.

A great choice in central Shanghai

The location is good, the environment is full of tasty food and especially the service the excellent. I borrowed the umbrella from them, they call the taxi service for me, I have the late check-in and very early (5 am) check-out ) while everything is well done. And the price is very reasonable with a thumb up.

歐洲風味的酒店

酒店環境非常不錯，但是房間裝修太殘舊，床頭燈，廁所門都損壞，廚房設備不齊，但是清潔不錯，很有歐洲古老大宅風味

地點不錯，房間有小廚房，洗烘衣機，還不錯。

入り口で戸惑ったが、2階に行ければ新シリーズの親切に対応いただけます。建物の古さはありますが、食事処も多く洗濯機もあり助かります。

初めてとまりましたが、ビジネス客には便利です。

今回は仕事で宿泊しましたが、地下鉄の駅からはわずか5分の便利さが気に入りました。一階が飲食店となって結構夜遅くまで開いていますので、静かな環境を求める方には向いてないかもしれませんが、仕事でいく分には全く問題がありません。朝食は近くのカフェもしくはコンビニで買えます。

Très agréable séjour près du Temple Jin’an

Résidence conforme au descriptif. Situation centrale et proche du métro. personnel pour le check-in anglophone. Appartement très bien équipé (pas de sèche linge mais étendage), l’isolation phonique avec l’exterieur est légère mais la rue est assez calme. Climatisation. on a laissé nos bagages en consigne le jour du départ. Très bonne literie. Wi-fi ok. Bref on conseille : très bon rapport qualité -prix.

熱水供應有問題

第一晚shower head壞了, 晚上11點櫃台人員還想說隔天再處理, 但我要求馬上來處理, 櫃檯就來看看順便換個shower head. 水壓很小, 結果熱水器有問題, 沒有穩定熱水, 洗著又冷又熱的澡度過第一天晚上. 第二晚我再反映熱水問題, 晚上10點櫃台又叫我去試試操作一下熱水器, 我重開了, 剛開始熱水又停了,還好後來有熱水了. 第三天晚上熱水又發生問題了, 太晚了就忍著. 第四天一早就要求換房間, 因為水壓太小又沒熱水, 但櫃檯說沒房了, 今天會請師傅來修. 晚上回房間確認已經修好了. 建議check in 要馬上確認熱水問題...

出行购物餐饮都很方便，下次还会考虑入住。
