Location is very strategic snd near to all places i needed to go. Accommodation rate is very affordable and more than commensurate … thank you to Tella, for her hospitality.

Clean Clean Clean. Very Clean. Ability to get tissues, towels yourself in cute little lobby with ironing board and microwave, and typical hot/cold fresh water. Shared big fridge. Basic room, as long as I have my own bathroom and Air con, that's all I need. Super Convenient, close to subway and buses. Local neighborhood about 15 restaurants and coffee shops, easy to get a quick meal after tourist day somewhere else, very friendly coffee shop opens at 7:00 a.m. Quiet and homey place about ten minute to twenty minute subway to places you want to visit. One stop down from Seoul Station and Myeong-dong for lively activity. Clean easy-peasy, quiet location close to everything,

Great stay!!!

Andy was a great host!!! Very friendly and accommodating, offering to let us keep our bags at the guesthouse until check-in. Breakfast was simple but served on time. Room was clean and comfy and warm.

Good for the price

Friendly staff. Small room but for the price hard to beat. Near many places to eat and Sookmyung Women's University subway station. Free, basic breakfast.

Cosy room with all the amenities needed

Found the hotel after a little detour where we walked past the sign (too busy looking at our map than our surroundings). Check-in was simple and straight forward. Our room was cosy and on the smaller side - more than expected, but it was ample and had all the things needed (hair dryer, small table/chairs, TV, wife, good sized bathroom with shower). The hotel was in a quiet area very close to the subway exit (1 minute) so it was perfect for our needs. Nearby were some convenience stores, small restaurants and fast food chains (KFC, Lotteria, Choongman chicken). In the morning the breakfast provided was a nice start to the day with orange juice, coffee, tea, bread for toast and cereal on offer. A late check out at 12pm is also very generous so great for those who like to get up later or have later plans. Would recommend as a good spot for a stay in the city for those travelling or with business in the city.

Great deal, friendly and accommodating staff

I stayed for two nights in mid-October. -The location is very near the station (go out exit 1, turn right at the first side street, up a small hill, and then left at the sign for the hotel, maybe 20-30 meters up the road). It's one stop from Seoul Station on the #4 subway line, and only three stops from Myeong-dong. -Its a great value! For the price of a hostel bed with a shared bathroom in many places in Seoul, you can get a private room and bathroom. -The staff were great! Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially when my trip ended up having a late-night arrival and earlier-than-expected departure. - I might have been more comfortable if I'd brought a pair of earplugs (the first night only - there was a bit more activity that night, and a loud snorer in one of the other rooms) and a set of travel sheets (the bed had a mattress pad-style sheet and comforter, which were fine, but I personally like actual sheets, too). Of course, those are not necessary, just my preference. -The room seemed very clean (a little old and run-down, but clean) but the second night I did see a couple small bugs in the bathroom. That's probably something you'd see in most places in the same price range, though, and they disappeared when the light was on. -Be aware, this is a guesthouse, not a 5-star hotel. (A mid-upper range hotel is going to cost a lot more, in Seoul.) Overall, I had a good stay! Know what you're booking and you won't be disappointed.

Great Location

We chose this guesthouse for the price and location. It is located one stop away from Seoul Station and is easy to find. The bathroom is consisted of a shower head/hose over the toilet and sink but is separated from the room by another door. Breakfast is toast with butter/jam, cornflake cereal, milk, and juice. Dining area is in the lobby and can get crowded with more than 4-5 guests eating breakfast at the same time. Free tea (good tea), coffee, and water in lobby. There was also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer (we didn't get a chance to use it but I believe it was free to use-huge plus, plus we noticed in Japanese and Korean hotels,guesthouses, motels, etc.) Also, guesthouse is located in a great location with many, many restaurants and stores. I would stay here again!

Convenient place, helpful host! Would stay again!

The host was very helpful! Prior to my stay, I studied a little Korean to help bridge language barriers that may occur, so me and the host were able to communicate in both English and Korean. He was able to direct me to some local places that I wanted to go to and was very helpful throughout my stay! The first floor hallway is a little tight so be aware of that if you bring a large 29" suitcase like I did. Not difficult, though. I would definitely choose to stay here again, as it is very close to the subway station and pretty close off the street. Thank you, again!

Great location and good value

Andy the hotel manager is great and will do his best to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The rooms are not very big but the WiFi works very well and you get a simple breakfast and all day coffee included. This hotel is great value for Seoul and very convenient to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly and comfortable guest house

We spent 2 weeks at the guest house, while we visited family. It was a comfortable setting for my daughter and myself. We were in walking distance to the Sookmyung Women's University, Hyochang Park and my son's apartment. We were able to take advantage of the great jogging and walking trails in the park, which made our stay in the area much more advantageous. Andy, the owner, was extremely friendly, helpful and very dedicated to making his guests comfortable. It was easy to feel at home and happy to return to our room after a day of siteseeing and visiting family.

Two days at Kimchee hotel

Cons 1. Hotel staff is mostly not present. 2. Bed is too hard and you can feel the springs. 3. No one came to clean the room Pros 1. Location is good, near to subway station 2. Not noisy

The best value of this price!!

If u looking for private room that quite cheap and great location I really recommended this guest house! staff very nice,room very clean, floor always warm and very close to Sookmyung university train station (blue line >seoul station/myeongdong/Dongdaemun etc.) just 1 min walk. Im sure i will choose this guesthouse again when i planned to visit Korea. So impress! :)

For the price range, a great bargain

For the price range, this is probably the best "hotel" that I've ever stayed at. The bedroom and the bathroom were both very roomy and comfortable, the hotel staff was very nice and helpful, and it's located right next to the subway station. Plus, there are a lot of nice and cheap restaurants and cafes close by, as there is a college in the area.

staff are nice and the location is great

overall, our stay at the guesthouse is great. they provide heaters which is amazing because spring in seoul is still cold. they are very accomodating and stafd are friendly. the location is also very good , its very near the sookmyung subway station which is like 2 stations away from myeongdong and the same line as seoul station.

A warm guesthouse

Staff in the guesthouse is super kind, helpful and attentive.

Nice mid location to anywhere in Seoul.

Going up on a hill to the guesthouse is bit tiredsome however I enjoyed my staying there. The staff is really nice and they're open to any questions and suggestions. The room I stayed was bit humid with little window. But it was all right overall with the price. I would want to come here again.

Great for a Budget

Finding the guest house was very simple (Exit 1 from Sookmyung Women's University Station--blue line, up the subway stairs, 15 ft straight and up the sloping driveway on the right f the Contractor's building; then, look up towards the left and you will see the sign). We were attending a conference at the University and walked to it (about a 15-20 minute walk). The staff (Jimmy) was helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and super friendly. If you don't want to spend a bunch of money on a bed, this is a great place to stay. The room and bedding was clean (small room, but that is normal for Korea). The hot water was readily available and very hot (easily adjustable by the faucet). The bed's softness was standard to Korea (more firm than any American bed, so if you are not used to sleeping on a firm bed, it may not be 100% comfortable for you). I gave 4 stars for the surrounding area because at the end of the lane, there is a government building for "out-of-place" workers, and several people "hang-out" around this building--they are not noisy or anything, but if you are a single woman, you may feel the need to walk quickly past them. If you are not from Korea, rest assured that Korea is the 4th safest country in the whole world (the USA is ranked at 88th safest--you do the math). I have lived in Korea for nearly 4 years--this guest house was adequate for my needs.

Budget traveller's best friend

If you are not afraid of a bit of shabbiness and want to spend your money on something more fun than lodgings, this is your hostel! The location near Seoul station is convenient, and the closest subway station is just a minute's walk away. For those days when you don't feel like going too far for dinner or coffee, the Sookmyung Women's University area offers a bunch of small coffee shops and restaurants. I stayed in a single room that was very affordable and even had a private toilet/shower. The room was definitely not fancy, but considering the price very decent. The only thing missing in the room was a fridge, but I consider that a minor flaw. The biggest plus was the super helpful and nice staff who would provide you with any kind of advice and info. When I visit Seoul for the next time, I will definitely stay here!

One of the better stays in Seoul

I stayed at multiple hostels throughout the city of Seoul, this is probably one of better value ones. Staff - they are extremely friendly and accommodating - thanks again Stacy!!!! Location - literally 40 steps away from train station, very convenient, not much around the area though, short-train ride to other main places Room - it was a little bit dirty and saw bugs here and there but that's inevitable in Korea

Real good valeu for budget stay

Super frienldy stuff. Nice little room. All amenities. Very close to subway. 1 stop from Seoul station (Aeroport Express). Definitly good value for short stay.

Very convenient

どこに行くにも便利で一人旅には快適

ソウル駅からも一駅で地下鉄出口から近くどこへ行くにも便利。タオルも交換してくれるし水とコーヒーもご自由に。一人旅には快適でした。

交通方便4號淑大站1號出口出來馬上就到了，如果有大行李箱要從10號出口有電梯，缺點民宿沒有電梯喔！

非常にシンプルな宿。淑大入口駅から徒歩2分。ソウル駅まで1駅。 壁が薄く、築年数のせいか部屋が所々壊れてはいるが内装やドライヤーなどは全体的に清潔。スタッフは常駐していないがExpediaのチャットでやりとりできる。

最寄駅から近くソウル駅からも一駅なので、ショッピングの合間に一旦戻って来れてとても便利でした。 また、オーナーの方も他の宿泊者の方も親切で、とても助かりました！

가격은 저렴했지만 , 전반적으로 침구류도 좀 지저분하고 수건도적고 별로 였습니다

딱 잠만 자기에 좋은 저렴한 숙박비라서 외국인들도많음 방 안에 샴푸,바디워시,드라이기,티비 등 기본적인것 구비. 근데 드라이기는 바꿔야할듯 전기선 접촉불량으로 감전되는줄

高CP值

非常近地鐵站。不過要上一條很斜的斜路。我是住2樓，沒有的。 要行樓梯，拎大件行李會較為辛苦。 這價錢非常超值，一分價錢一分貨。CP值是超高的。 屋主非常友善，我想提早入住，電郵跟他說就可以了。

淑大駅1番出口から出て20m進み右の坂道上がったらすぐ左手にあります。 近くにコンビニありました。 借りた部屋は狭かったですが、エアコンつくし水圧も言うことなしで、不満はないです。 朝ごはんは軽く出てましたが、外で食べたので利用しませんでした。 ウォーターサーバーもあります。 ただ冷蔵庫が、部屋になかったのが不便かなと思いましたが、とりあえずまた泊まりたいなと思えるところでした。 アンディが、とてもいい人でした。 2号線に行くには乗り換えが必要ですが、ソウル駅からは近いので、よかったです！

トイレと洗面台がある部屋の電気の付け方が分からずドアを開けたままシャワーに入りました。 夜分遅くだったのでオーナーさんには質問しませんでした。

숙대에서 매우 가깝습니다. 여행다니기 매우 좋은 위치에요. 그런데 체크아웃 후 방에 보조배터리 놓고온 것 같아서 다시 연락을 하려고 하는데 연락이 잘 안되시네요ㅠ 그것말곤 괜찮아요!

場所はとてもいいです。主要駅が多い4号線の駅まで近いので楽に移動できました。民宿風なところに宿泊したのが初めてで普通のホテルと比較するとサービスや快適さは劣ると思いました。ですが、部屋にトイレとシャワーはあるし、価格はすごく安いのでバランスを考えたらお得だと思います。連泊時の清掃はありませんが、タオルの替えはお願いしたらもらえますし、スタッフの方も親切でした。お世話になりました。

駅から近くて便利がいい

中心部からも駅からも近くて、すごく良かったです！部屋も清潔であの安さでこれは快適でした！また利用すると思います！！

6) 按照這個價錢，整體來說酒店在各方面也是非常不錯。唯一較不能接受的是房間實在太小。

1) 地理位置非常非常非常接近地鐵站(淑明女大站，1號出口)，由淑明女大站1號出口走到酒店，不到1分鐘就到了。 2) 接待人員親切友善，會主動打招呼。旅行期間同伴的行李延遲了3天才抵達，他們每天也主動及有耐性地與我們了解情況，向機場致電查詢，對旅客困難十分願意幫忙。 3) 接待人員懂韓語及日常需要的英語，只要懂其一，溝通是沒問題的 4) 房間整體來說是不錯，整潔舒適，但房間大小對於兩人來說，實在太小了。大家若果需要把所有行李箱打開並放到地上，直至最後一天，那你可能連站的位置也沒有。 5) 每天早上約8:30-10:30，入口處將放上面包及幾款果汁飲料，可按需要進食。
