Great value, good base location
Last minute find. Room was tidy/no odors. The kitchen was complete and cute wood art made the place feel cozy. The spare roll away bed was delivered as requested, and surprisingly comfortable. Traveled with hubby and 9 year old between seasons to hit Bash Bish. Will stay here again to visit Naumkeag.
Rooms were dirty and dated. The pools and spa was closed. It was just a major inconvenience having only 1 drink and food machine in the lobby. You have to walk 20 minutes to get a snack.
Rooms were old & not updated, hairs in bed, blankets smelled, run down. Staff was friendly.
Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.
It’s challenging to read the reviews and know what to expect for this hotel. One main reason for that is because each unit is owned by different owners. Some units may have been renovated more recently than other units. I booked 3 rooms. One unit had an old electric stove with coils while the other had a newer electric stove. 1 had a toaster oven while the others did not. We brought food to cook, but kept it simple because we didn’t know what cooking pots and utensils would be available. One family member brought steaks, but the units we were in didn’t have an oven, so they had to cook on in a pan on the stove. There may be a grill outside, but it was too cold for that. The location of the rooms are great, a short walk to the main express lift and can ski back to the room. Each room includes lockers where you can store your ski equipment. The rooms were okay, they’re clean and decent sized. The kitchen had everything we needed. Small refrigerator, microwave, and a dishwasher. As far as cookware and settings, a set of pots and pans, plates, eating and cooking utensils. Overall, the property and rooms are a bit dated, but clean. The staff I interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. We would most likely stay here again as it’s very convenient. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a fairly priced, ski in and ski out hotel.
Old rooms need updated. No restaurant near by. And no chargers near by. Fan not working the whole tome
We had an excellent stay at Jiminy peak during the Fright nights. The mountain coaster was a blast and we loved riding the gondola up to the top of the mountain to see the leaves! We will be back next year. Our only small complaint was that our room was right next to the line for the ticket booth and the teenagers were pretty loud into the late night waiting to be spooked. It might be a good idea next year to plan for long lines of people and cone off the area to snake the line a bit better. Otherwise this was an excellent and fun trip.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The facility is a little run down, but it was clean. A lot was closed (ie. on site bar/restaurants) due to it being between seasons, which was disappointing. We used the hot tub, which was not very hot. We'd stay there again though.
Great deal, great property and a great stay as always!
Nice fall view
Very quiet and clean. would definitely go back.
We stayed overnight for 1 night in a suite. Very clean & comfortable. It would be perfect if you were staying a week - furnished kitchen, plates, silverware, pots & pans, dishwasher. Comfortable couch & chair & counter & chairs for eating at. Hot tub & pool were available, but we forgot our bathing suits. We had hiked Mt Greylock during the day and really could have used a hot tub soak! The staff were friendly & informative. We were there during the 3rd week of Oct - in between seasons, so no restaurants at the resort were open for food & drink, but the staff had local recommendations, which were fine. There is a Country Store on the property that offers take out food too. All in all a nice stay & would highly recommend.
The restaurant for breakfast was advertised as being open on sat and Sunday on the website, but was in fact closed. When I asked about it the front desk said it’s not open until winter
This is our second stay in two weeks…and we will be back!
Easy check in, nice staff. Room was spacious and clean. Location was perfect for what we were doing. Overall excellent stay. Will be back to take advantage of all the activities available.
Needs to be updated!
Property needs updating, expensive for condition.
Great place for foliage and families
It was amazing! Great place, clean and very nice. The location was perfect
Friendly, well-stocked, well-thought-out, comfotable.
Well come back
We had such a lovely stay - it was perfect for our family of 3. So much better to have a living room to socialize, a kitchen and separate sleeping areas for the same price as a hotel. Management was wonderful and the condo had so many personal touches
Great place
Me and my friends loved it!
Was good everything
It was pleasant!
charming town house condo. plenty of room and privacy for our family. Well supplied. Comfortable beds.
Good place in summer for vacation
Front desk available 24/7
Everything was clean and in order
Very nice one bedroom unit at the base of the ski area, everything was in good working condition and very clean. Check-in was a breeze. We had dinner at the restaurant at the entrance to the ski area, nice atmosphere, limited menu, food was good and although they were busy we were in and out in about one hour. We would definitely stay here again.
Great property for a great pic.
Love going here, great for quality time with my son
Only stayed a night but kids liked the pool and it was close to the adventure park
Personal are very pleasant and natural around is wonderful.
Great place!
The building appears a little dated, but the room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable, with quiet view of the woods outside the windows. Staff was very friendly. Would stay here again.
Too many stairs to have to carry luggage because of multiple levels. DESPERATELY needs UPDATING!!!!
We liked the spacious room for great price. Comfortable clean. Didnt like like restaurant was closed. But other local one was close.
Not so Jiminy.
The window sash was broken as if someone tried to open the window, we were able to open the window and put the sash back in place and close the window. The closet door came off its track and was not able to put it back. The shower and tub fill outlet both came on at the same time and was not able to stop the tub filler, not sure how often the rooms are checked other than cleaning.
Loved the layout and the country store. Lots for kids to do. Resort is a bit dated but staff is very nice
Units are dated, bars and restaurants close too early, attractions are pricey for guests. Whole the store is convenient, prices are purposely inflated because there is nothing closer. We pay enough to stay on the property without having to pay more for necessities. For the 2 days we were there, a huge puddle was under chairs on front porch, making chairs inaccessible. Was surprised to find aini fridge rather than a full size in a condo.
Nice location, well kept up.
Good location
This is a sweet property. I visited in the summer. The dining options were great. The country store is awesome. I love how the rooms are suites. They feel like small apartments. I like that they have kitchens. The bed was comfortable. The ac is loud but at least it works well and it drowns out other noises. I needed a late check out and they were very cool about it. They let me hang out at the pool and then shower at the spa because I was like of stuck there several hours after check out time. Definitely will be back.
Great property
Great amenities and very clean property. Hot tub facilities and timings were also good. Just wished they had offered bath robes.
Time in the woods
Staff were so attentive, even at the late hour we checked in (10pm) the place had everything you need. Amazing views and amenities. Loved it
We stayed in one of the two bedroom condos. The condo was clean, but clearly had seen little updating since the early 1990's . The condo's are apparently privately owned, and the stained carpets, scuffed walls, and decaying decor are the purview of the owner. This was a rebook because club Wyndham Bentley Brook couldn't make good on the booking. This is the second time Club Wyndham wasn't able to make good on a reservation made through Expedia. Last time we ended up at Vacation Villiages across the street from Jiminy Peak. Recommendation don't book a stay at Club Wyndham Bentley Brook through Expedia, and if you get stuck refuse all offers to stay at and property labeled Jiminy Peak Resort.
The property was great. I would say a little more cleanliness in the bathtub! Overall, amazing!
We had to switch to this property at the last minute due to a problem with our original reservation. The property is simple but very comfortable and well maintained. The staff were pleasant and helpful. A very nice stay.
This is my 6th or 7th stay at Jiminy, spanning over 30 years. There is nothing I don't like! Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
I would go back. Hopefully the next time the adventure park would be open.
We were pretty content with our stay until our last night. We were overpowered by the smell of weed from other guests. Despite the front desk having located where the source was coming from, it was US they offered to move - after we’d been settled in our room for 5 nights. We had to close off rooms in order to sleep because the vents carried the smell so heavily into our room. Not one employee offered apologies or acknowledged the experience for us, it was dismissed as no big deal. We’re pretty tolerant and flexible, but aren’t rules in hotels intended to be followed? Very frustrated by the response to our inability to use our room - or expecting us to pack and move ourselves vs inconveniencing the ones causing the issue.
Went for the 13 nights of Halloween and had a blast! Room was awesome!
The area is beautiful!
Dreary/dated appearance. Needs updating very badly.
This property felt very safe, easy to find, and had plenty parking available. The check in process was very quick and easy. Our room was extremely clean and equipped with plenty towels, pillows, etc. The bed was very comfortable. The wall were pretty thin so you could hear almost almost everything happening in the hallway, kids running, talking, etc. My only complaint was it was a little difficult to find our room, the way finding could have been better. But overall great stay and I would recommend!
This hotel needs serious renovation and new management. The hallways and the rooms smell. My room had roaches and other bugs. After I called the receptionist, they were nice enough to move into another room but they were basically all the same, smelly and old. I would not return to this place.
Quiet big fun and private
Great value for price!
I really liked my stay here. The staff is very nice. The rooms are spacious, clean and fully equipped with a full kitchen. Laundry on premises is great to have as well. The restaurants on the property are very good. Plus there is a general store in walking distance on the property. The pool/hot tub is very nice. There is so much to do just here at the resort with the summer adventure park and winter skiing. I would definitely comeback with the family as my stay was just a one night pitstop on a motorcycle trip.
This resort is in a very nice setting and has lots of activities for families. The rooms are a bit dated and could use a thorough cleaning, the room we had was clean but dusty. Very comfortable beds and very quiet. The front desk staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful And the pub food was delicious!
Comfortable and Quiet
Fourth time we have stayed here. Very comfortable and quiet. Like having a kitchenette for snacks and breakfast. Just wish it was closer to Jacobs Pillow but nothing is close to Jacobs Pillow.
Wonderful place....very clean. Highly recommended!
A winter ski resort with many summer activity options. Although a large property with lots of families visiting, very quiet almost any time of day. This is out second visit, we'll be here again.
Fold out bed very soft and pool not heated
We stayed for here a weekend family get away , the room was specious but a little run down . We would stay here again during the off season if the price was right .
A little dated but very nice. A beautiful setting.
Nice a quiet !! The only complaint I would have is the smell of cannabis in the hallway outside our room. I know it’s legal in Massachusetts but I can’t stand that smell. The room was beautiful and clean. Will return again
meh
Well, the space was nice. But the freezer door fell off, the freezer was full of ice all over, there was peeling paint on the window sill, the ceiling lights had been replaced but the ceiling not repainted, restaurant was closed, carpet felt like it needed to be cleaned. Overall, it was only ok, a little disappointing for the money.
Property is situated in a beautiful surrounding. The problem is the condition of the property is quite out-dated. The room smells humidity and mold. Opening windows does not help at all. Housekeeping standard is quite low. It just doesn’t feel clean.
Not very well lit at entrance to road not very well lit on 3 mile drive up to resort.
Old and dated. Needs remodeling.
what a nice facility. the room was spacious, They supplied dishes, pots pans, a mini version of your own kitchen. Very clean. The only frustration we had was when we arrived, there weren't any signs directing us to the hotel, so we wandered around a little bit. I would return without hesitation.
Beautiful resort. Enjoyed just relaxing and spending the day at the pool. If one thing could be improved its the water pressure in the shower. Loved the weekend getaway and will be back.
The inn and its location make for a lovely and reasonably-priced off-ski season option for those with business or leisure engagements in the Pittsfield area.
Super friendly and helpful staff.
Very nice place to stay
The unit had a carpenter ant problem.
It was so pretty there and our space had everything you could want.
Checking out facility for future visits -like Children running around unattended - dislike
Lovely suite - grand property!
The people were very friendly and the room was very clean. I would stay here again
It was a little bit far from the slopes. Next time I hope I can stay close to the slopes.
Family ski stay
Ski in right to the door of the lodge! The outdoor hot tub was especially soothing after a long day of skiing. So much room in our 1 bedroom with full stocked kitchen. The bed was very comfortable.
Would stay again.
Overall all no issues. Room was underwhelming and outdated for the price. Small outdated TV’s, old decor and look. But we would stay again.
Always enjoy staying here but had children running up and down the hallway late into the evening.
A little bit run down and rug dirty but it’s a ski condo so not a big deal. Bed was good.
We enjoyed it there and the one bedroom we had was clean and nice. Wish they supported wireless tv so you can stream to watch movies etc. they have only an outdoor pool. Two things kids look forward to.
Great quaint place. Wish I stayed here for longer . Cozy for a fall stay
Nice property in a nice area.
Great place for families
Great stay in the Berkshires!
We had a great weekend in the Berkshires. Lots of Halloween type activities in the area and even a haunted house/ski hill at the resort. Great hiking and beautiful fall colors made this weekend near perfect
Upon arrival, we saw that the property was dated and not kept up. Some examples were worn and torn carpeting, missing electrical outets, spider webs on the ceiling etc. The furniture was worn and in need of repair. When I went to open a dresser drawer, the front of the drawer came off in my hand. The first night we found that the wifi did not work. I called the front desk, and the representative notified me that there was nothing they could do as the accommodation was privately owned. The representative was also very rude about the issue. The second night we got home I found a dead mouse in the kitchen. When I called the front desk, the manager informed me that mice were going to get in because we were in the wilderness. I will not be returning.
For leaf peeping season I believe they needed more restaurants open ..was busy and hard to get a seat..rooms needed painting, bed was caved, signage needs updating on housekeeping as it stated daily
Nice amenities and location. Place was clean with friendly staff. Place has some age that shows. Could use remodeling or better maintenance practices for full stars. Very family friendly
excellent getaway, scenic location- easily accessible via highway
Loved the venue but unit not so great
Condo layout was great. However, the unit appeared to not have been cleaned in quite a while, there were dead bugs, live bugs and cobwebs. Additionally, a dresser drawer was broken, a toilet seat was split in 2, some outlets didnt work, and neither did the dishwasher. But by far the fact that there was no wifi was the biggest issue. We were supposed to be working our jobs but were cmpletely unable to do so. Even had someone cone down to try to fix it....never got fixed. We left that place in much better condition than the way it was when we arrived.
Beautiful the place and staff are very friendly.
Great price and very quiet and clean. Staff were helpful. Room was perfect. 1 bedroom suite. Great to have a kitchen for morning breakfast before hiking. Country Store was excellent.
Nice and quiet and family friendly Needs some updating
