It very Old property
Very nice hotel, great location
.
There were no water bottles. Cleanliness wasn't up to the mark.
Tired and overpriced for average tourist.
Handy to Karratha Shopping Centre and Integrity bus stop as we were utilising public transport for our visit along the west coast. Sadly this hotel is tired and needs a good makeover or knocking down and re-building. The adjacent ‘Sports bar’ is non-existent and likely long been closed due to more modern hotels charging comparable prices in the neighbourhood. The bistro was very lightly patronised for a school holiday period and with limited menu options. You can’t charge premium prices around $300.00 a night and only offer THREE star rooms and facilities.
Fantastic venue great staff and the pool area is unreal great working man stay away
The front desk employees were very helpful
Very comfortable and convenient location
cozy and comfortable. room was tidy, but floors weren't clean. had lots of ants.
What, unavailable pool
It was great but the pool wasn't available
It is a FIFO place, right in the heart of the town. We had a great time in there. Wherever we did go we come across some lovely people. Exceptional hotel staff, at any level. Thank you all for making our stay memorable.
mostly everything was okay but i didn’t appreciate getting woken up every morning at the crack of dawn but the loud cleaning staff
The hotel is in good area, near shopping centre and the room we staying is good and clean
Loved the staff and the gardnes and the breakfast but the rooms could do with a bit of sprucing up
The room was excellent, modern renovated bathroom, breakfast was great, and the staff where all very helpful & friendly
Older place but nice bed, clean, fair value
Very average aircon not working
This property is like a trip to the 70’s but owners have not spent a cent since. The price of $264 a night is Melbourne CBD price. Value of our room should be $70 a night as the place is backpacker at best. Staff were happy and helpful but I felt sorry for them as their product they were selling was so poor. Karratha seem to think they are in downtown NewYork what a rip off!!
Staff and the desire to make us feel good was faultless. What lets it down is the price charged for a run down facility. The rooms in their current state are only worth $120 not the close to $200 per night. Thats the only dissapoint, ment and that larking is totally unsecured.
The room did not have a phone, so it made calling room service or front desk via the phone guide on the wall impossible. the TV did not work and even asking staff to come and have a look no one arrived.
The property is old and tired, but it was clean, nice neat pool area and is within walking distance to restaurants and shops.
Staff were exceptional and super friendly. The pool was fantastic for the kids. Dining was great. Very handy to walk over to the shops. Highly recommend for a stay in Karratha.
An extremely old, dilapidated, asbestos roofed faculty long due for demolition. It is not to current cyclone codes and should be condemned. The door to my room did not seal - it had a 15 mm gap below the door and to the lower frame edge. Staff were competent and friendly, online photos are deceiving.
Give this a miss-unless you are a weathy bacpacker
Really disappointing. Best described as an upmarket backpackers. The bathroom was so bad I would not have been tempted to wash a dog in there. Getting a simple battery replaced in a tweeting smoke alarm was to hard for the staff it seems. Way over priced (even for the Pilbara) and best avoided
No wifi
Advertise free wifi Can't get wifi in room if have keep on dropping out Booked room because of wifi
Good location, room was a little dirty on arrival.
Our stay at the ibis Styles Karratha was a short fly in trip for a wedding. We'd had to book a second night after booking the first as our flight got cancelled and we flew in a day before - even though the bookings were made separately, the ibis linked our two bookings so we had the same room for the two days and didn't have to check out and back in again. We arrived around 10am and the manager on duty, Dylan, was able to move us around so we could check in straight away. The room was clean and comfortable - we had a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, with a garden and pool view. On our first morning we had breakfast in the on-site restaurant. It was $29 for a full cooked breakfast. I had scrambled egg, bacon, hashbrowns, and mushrooms, my travelling companion had the same except she had poached eggs. You could also have sausages and tomatoes if you liked. The amount of food on the plates was huge and we didn't finish it all even though it was delicious. A couple of negatives but in no way deal-breakers - the walls are very thin, there was a family next to us who's kid was giggling and screaming most of the first day (cute and we wouldn't want them to not be happy but difficult to handle when you're resting), and we could hear people in the pool. There were 2 movie channels that didn't seem like they were connected which was a little odd but not a big deal, we just watched a lot of American Restorations and the Discovery channel. All in all it was a great stay.
We arrived 1 hr 30 minutes early and the hotel wanted to charge us $60 if we checked in early. We went back after 2.00 check in, went up to our room no remote for air conditioner, no pillow case on a pillow which was badly stained and the telephone didn’t work
rooms are old and tired. doesn't matter if you are a corporate rewards member you do not get special rates
Terrible never again . Floors filthy shower filthy. First night people above us came home and decided to party multiple phones calls to manager , stopped for five minutes then restarted. Ground floor unit with kids on bikes up and down outside window, mine workers coming and going . A nightmare
Older property but central
Older grubby property which was quite expensive for what it was . Central to shops which was handy . But very scarred
The hotel rooms were a little tired and the bathrooms were a bit scary. The restaurant however was great. The food was very good and the serves were huge.
Clean and neat - good food at restaurant
Ibis Styles Karratha
The hotel is getting old. Inside and outside of the room need renovating. The bathroom and bedroom are old. Towels worn out and need to change. Location is good. We stayed in Ibis Styles Hotel Geraldton on our way home this trip.it is $50 cheaper with hot breakfast included
Location
Great location, rooms a bit tired.
As expected, clean, good amenities, comfortable beds
On check in the general manager identified we were travelling with young kids and upgraded us to a larger room which was appreciated. We swam in the pool which was lovely and found the room to be clean and functional. It was excellent for our purpose which was a stop on the way down the coast from Broome to Monkey Mia.
Location is great, right in the middle of town. Friendly staff.
The property was good, swimming pool clean and water cold. Funny smell in the reception area but it was clean and modern. The single bed in my room had a bed leg that fell out of the base. Shower head had a leak that sprayed water up into the roof. Queen bed was very comfortable.
RCC
Room was dated but relatively clean. The restaurant provided excellent food.
The rooms are old, but very clean and comfortable.
staff friendly, rooms neat, tidy and clean, although a bit dated, meals were well cooked but the beds after a long trip were awesome , represented good value for money in the far north..
room smelly and shower and bathroom very ordinary no chair in room, no glasses in room.
Way over priced! Floor in my room needs a good scrub. Mirror in my bathroom needs to be replaced - cloudy film making it difficult to use. Bar fridge wasn’t working. The room and property are out dated and poorly cared for - rubbish in unmaintained garden areas. I guess being a mining town though, the mining companies will continue to pay whatever to accommodate their staff, driving up prices and lowering exceptions for other travelers. Very disappointing all round.
Clean but outdated
Rooms are outdated but clean. Breakfast was okay. Okay if for a single or couple needing somewhere to stay overnight.
centrally located adjacent shopping centre - a little dated
Upgrade Required
Comfortable bed, not a far walk from car, needs some finer attention to detail.
It was clean and quiet and central to all restaurants and Read Earth Art centre.
Ibis Karratha
Clean hotel with a decent restaurant for a one night business trip. Was fine for visiting Karratha and I would stay there again. Conveniently located.
Staff polite and friendly, comfy bed and clean room, but totally in need of renovation. EG,. Skirting board in bedroom directly backing onto shower was unsightly. Shower obviously been leaking for some time. Curtains broken and would not close. + More.
Smoking should not be allowed outside rooms. Stinks up the whole experience of entering and leaving ones room and the smoke just drifts into ones room soon as the door is opened. Smoke free areas need to be set aside inside and outside accommodation rooms. Really bad experience
It was an average experience to stay for a night, I like how you made use of the limited space. For improvement I think you should put more care into your rooms such as making it more welcoming and tidy, for an example at past hotels you could fold up a towel and put a peice of soap on top to make it a bit more welcoming.
It was nice to have a swimming pool at the hotel and location was great.
Aging motel. For the price the maintenance should be getting done to keep it in shape but that doesn't appear to be the case with the rooms. Wifi was very slow.
Ideal for a quick trip away
Great value for money, fantastic location and a great breakfast to top it off. Will be returning for sure
Appalling
Absolutely disgusting facility. Room was falling apart and unclean, despite being moved to a new room, the cleanliness was still questionable. Bathrooms need to be addressed with industrial strength disinfectant. If you are in the area, find another hotel.

Stay was comfortable,
Staff were great. Came to check in at 330 but room was not ready even though check in was at 2pm. Staff gave drinks until room was ready which was great but once we got to room it was very dirty. Blood on the cushions which sat in the bed, walls were messy. The bar fridge hadn’t been cleaned on the outside and hair on the bathroom walls. We moved the single bed to the wall so our son didn’t fall off and underneath was horrific. There was really thick dust, hair and rubbish.
Huge breakfast ( when ordered). Accomadations are simple and clean
Average
Comfortable for a short stay. Unfortunately the bars have been closed and the restaurant offers limited drinks options.
Weekend away
Staff were very helpful rooms was nice and clean and enjoyed our stay close to all the main shops will be back again
Comfortable and well located. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
Decor a little tired towels stained for age of property ok
Great for a quick get away
Room was spacious and comfortable. Stay included continental breakfast, this was a bit light in, hot food was an additional charge. Great for a coffee and bit of toast or cereal.
Upon check in had the manager walk in the room and ask when we were checking out? Ordered Fish n Chips from the restaurant almost choked and massive fish bones.. definitely not staying there again!
Close to the bottle shp and shopping centre
The room was adequate. The staff were friendly and professional
Not value for money
It is so expensive and yet the hotel is not as good as we expected it to be..
nice place to stay if in Karratha
A very nice hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy establishment.
3 day Ibis stay
Booked through last minute and given the photos and price gauges against other places, this felt like a reasonable offer for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and lovely, requires a refurbishment or renovation. Ideal for transit accomodation and no better then budget ibis
Good location
Would be the worst hotel in Karratha and is very outdated dirty and overpriced place I've stayed in, in a long time the place should be condemned and bulldozed the service was nonexistent not a nice place to stay
Across the street from Karratha center
A fantastic place to stay. The staff at the Ibis were warm and welcoming, the buffet breakfast was always fresh with great music playing during mealtimes to set a relaxing mood. The room was clean and beautifully presented with cleaners popping in daily and it was so nice to have a kids corner so hubby and I could always see our daughter but have an adult conversation for a whole meal. Oh, the Chinese buffet night was a highlight during our stay too, what a great atmosphere you all created, thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! Can't wait to be back again ☺
Amazing customer service
Upon check in there had been a problem with our booking. The amazing receptionist Katie went above and beyond to ensure we had a room. I was having surgery the next day and after finding out the staff upgraded our room so that I didn't have to walk up and down stairs. And to compensate for the booking error the manager offered us dinner on the house. Will now always stay at the Ibis when travelling to Karratha
Wonderful staff member Chrystal super helpfull
Great Service was wonderful especially the staff member Chrystal she was very friendly and helpfull.

People knocking on doors for long periods of time in the middle of the night and others in groups outside the room talking for hours in the early hours of the morning. Shame because otherwise the facility and service was really good.
