Very enjoyable

The atmosphere is nonexistent. There used to be a very good restaurant in this ibis But nothing now. Please can you have a restaurant back it would be a huge benefit.

At 88yrs of age I didn’t expect to walk up 50+ stairs carrying a small overnight bag. Dark green decoration I found depressing. However, everything else was good.

Been here at the Chartres Ibis Styles many times as it is very convenient for us. Breakfast is very good and the rooms are normal Ibis. Begining to get a little shabby, but still comfortable.

Great value comfortable rooms

Very clean, modern decor with one of the best beds I’ve slept on. Extremely nice staff, copious and excellent quality breakfast. Great stay.

Always enjoy our stay here. But sad the juice machine was vroken ANDthe egg boiler!!!

It was cozy and we felt great there.

The hotel was almost good, but it was without elevator (and our room was at the third floor) and room cleaneless could be improved

Overnight stop

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable the duvet to heavy, air con very noisy so we turned it off. The onsuit in need of attention. Breakfast was very good and well presented. We were able to visit the Cathedral on our way to the Hotel.

Booked two adjoining rooms so my wife and I could have an evening while our 1-year-old was sleeping. The initial rooms were opposite and not adjoining. I returned to the front desk in my very broken French. Chap at the desk was very helpful and swapped the rooms, even bringing the new key up with me to take the old key back. He later also brought a couple of drinks up for us as I had full hands already. Essentially, it's not an expensive hotel, but the service was more than expected. Beds were comfortable and everything worked well.

The Hotel is very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. There are a number of restaurants adjacent to the hotel which is a bonus.

Pleasant.Stopover

This was an overnight stop on the way to visiting friends in France. The arrangements went through without a hitch and we were very well treated.

Good standard room, staff were very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good, we especially liked the facility to boil eggs.

One stop over to return to

The Ibis Styles at Chartres is an excellent stop over hotel the room was clean and comfortable for a good nights rest.The buffet brakfast was acceptable. The on the doorstep eateries included an excellent steak house a "red pepper" restraunt ,Mcdonalds and KFC. The averall stay was excellent value for money

Charming Chartres

Ideal location to nearby restaurants/shopping, and proximity to Chartres Cathedral. We would stay here again, if we ever return to this tranquil village so close to Paris.

Best of the bunch

This place is in a cluster of budget hotels with some fast food places too. It's way out of town and is clearly a pit stop place on the way to somewhere else. It's the best out of the bunch and serves the best food too. Pleasent staff.

Difficult to find and not worth the effort

Basic hotel but we made the mistake of booking it for 2 nights on our way south. Chartres is well worth visiting but not this out of the way hotel. The final straw was when we came down for breakfast on the second morning - at about the middle of service- the had no bread, croissant or pain au chocolat and were unable to provide any more, just a shrug and ‘non’!

Reliable and welcoming, this hotel is our regular first night halt on the drive south.

Top Marks Ibis - Great stay

Wow, have to say this is one of the best IBIS hotels I have stayed in, The room was stylish, roomy and clean and the staff were amazing. Food in the restaurant was great too. Ten minutes away by car from the Cathedral, which is well worth a visit.

Convenient location for overnight stop

DISAPPOINTING CHARTRES IBIS

Chosen for its 3 star rating, which it certainly isn't and reviews, which in reality are difficult to comprehend, this hotel was a huge disappointment.The room was minute, the fixtures, fittings were very basic, mostly plastic and utilitarian. Like everything else the bathroom was very small and worse the shower fitting was hanging off the wall. Given its out of town location and being surrounded by three other hotels charging around half the Ibis rate, even with the inclusive Continental breakfast, which was okay, it was poor value. Having been in France for more than a week,this was the second most expensive room rate but was by far the poorest value we had experienced. The Manager was gracious and did what he could to address our concerns but we left feeling disappointed. Having stayed in other Ibis around the World, I feel this one is not up to standard.

Good night stop hotel

Used the hotel as an overnight on a long journey, it was conveniently located just off the main road so easy to find. There are several restaurants nearby so late arrivals are not an issue. Rooms are clean, basic but have good beds and fresh linen etc

Well situated hotel in a sea of eating places

The man at the desk had a wry sense of humour and was very courteous and polite as well as knowing who we were. Our room keys were handed to us in a matter of moments. We had a double room each. The rooms had good TV and Wi-Fi and were clean and fresh. The double bed was very comfortable with an en suite shower and toilet very clean with good pressure in the shower As it was a Sunday the restaurant was closed so we went out to one of the half dozen or so restauraunts in the immediate vicinity and had a good meal Slept very well and came down for breakfast which was varied and plentiful All in all a good, comfortabe stay in a very well situated location

Probably the best Ibis we have stayed in. Resturant open Sat night (sadly not often the case with Ibis). Lady on reception very helpful, even helped me with my French. Will be using it again very soon

Return visit to smart hotel with nice restaurant

We stayed at this hotel on outbound trip and liked it so much we booked it for the return journey. It is conveniently located by the by-pass roundabout to N154 to Orleans. The hotel is smartly refurbished, with nice bedroom and en-suite shower room. There is gated parking. Very clean throughout and with nice friendly staff. The hotel restaurant is excellent, especially the inclusive breakfast buffet. We also ate well for a reasonable price one evening. For variety, by the hotel are several steak house type restaurants and fast food outlets.

Try to find the hotel if you can!!

Hotel is newly renovated, but no elevators, and design in a funky style (not to our liking) We were recommended a steak house opposite the hotel, also of terrible quality. In my quest to find the Hotel, i went into Novo Hotel in Chartres, which looks amazing at only 10 euros/night more. That should be your choice!

Que dire ... pas d'eau chaude dans la chambre un bruit aiguë le matin toutes les 30 mn dans le couloir Sinon personnel agréable et présent, bon petit-déjeuner, parking fermé Mais une mauvaise nuit passée dans cet établissement

Accueil souriant, assez rapide. Hôtel extérieur vieillissant , chambre propre mais petite. J’ai trouvé que le petit déjeuner était moins varié que dans d’autres IBIS.On entend trop les autres personnes qui se douchent dans les chambres voisines.

Le personnel est sympathique et l’offre de petit déjeuner plutôt complète. La propreté est à revoir, évacuation de la douche bouchée, poils de barbe sur le meuble de la salle de douche.

Literie

Le matelas de la chambre 19 est à changer impérativement. L’hotel affiche fièrement 3 étoiles à son entrée, la qualité du couchage et la vétusté de l’intérieur contredise tout. La concurrence proche propose de meilleurs qualités

We hebben een fijn verijf gehad in dit hotel samen met knze kinderen. Ontbijt was prima, voldoende keuze. Goed geslapen op de bedden. Ondanks kamer aan straatkant geen last gehad van geluid. De ingang van de parkeergarage onder het hotel is erg nauw en best spannend om in en uit te gaan. Met grote auto is dit niet mogelijk.

Trevlig service i receptionen. Men tyvärr var flera lampor trasiga i rummet och det kunde inte åtgärdas då det var helg och ingen tekniker fanns på plats. Okej frukost, men även där ingen superupplevelse; äggkokaren trasig utan hjälp från personalen t.ex. Sängarna i rummet sköna, AC fungerade bra. Men, mest negativt: hotellet har ingen hiss. Väldigt jobbigt att bära tunga väskor 4 våningar upp.

Séjour décevant. Une chambre très en dessous de ce qu’on devait attendre d’un ibis Styles en comparaison avec ceux déjà fréquentés : chambre étroite et banale, salle de bain aussi, peu de mobilier et très ordinaire, rénovation de basse facture d’une construction des années 70/80. Bonne isolation phonique, et couchage satisfaisant. Petit déjeuner correct.

Séjour correct, la chambre est propre, le petit déjeuner est copieux, même s’il faudrait un peu plus de fruits…. Un petit bémol les claquements de porte, les autres clients auraient pu s’abstenir car c’est pénible.

Prima overnachting

We hadden een prachtige VIP kamer en het hotel was prima te bereiken. Het enige minpunt was het ontbijt. Er kon van 6 tot 11 uur ontbeten worden, maar toen we om 10 uur was bijna alles al op en werd niet meer aangevuld. Je moet dus heel vroeg zijn

Sympa, propre, mais dommage sans ascenseur.

Situé à proximité de l'autoroute, c'est idéal pour une halte. Des restaurants à proximité, le centre ville à moins de 10mn.Literie comfortable et propre. Par contre, les 3 étages sans ascenseur et avec des enfants, c'est galère!

Chambre très mal isolé, j’entendais toutes les chambres voisines , les toilettes , les douches …des nuits où je n’ai pas bien dormi du tout …
