Great place to stay
Nice place to stay with good breakfast. Room temperature wasn’t working well. I lowered it to 30c but it was always above 27c. Even switching off the heating, it still was quite warm inside the room
Clean but basic
Rooms were very small, bed confortable but flat pillows, Clean. Dont bother with the breakfast.
Good
Exactly what we needed as a base while exploring Budapest. Reasonable breakfast included. Beds were comfortable. In walking distance of everything we wanted to do.
The rooms were very dirty. Though requested to clean the room everyday they never changed the towels regularly and the bedspread was not changed even a single day for two weeks though a lady used to clean the room every day. I have also lost 20 USD which i had kept in my bag. Unfortunately, i realized it only after reaching home. Pathetic customer service. Very disappointed. Expected a better response and cleanliness.
Great location! Cozy room.
The first room they gave it to me, had a bad smell and the matress from the sofa bad was very dirty, but the staff gave me another room, so they resolved my problem. The new room was cleaner with no smell and the sofa bad was clean. The breakfast was great, you have from what to choose: running eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes, cereals, milk, tea, salads, coffee, water, yougurt, fruits etc. The parking it’s underground, it’s not free….but if you can’t find empty places, like me, you can park in new york palace parking, for 27 euro/day. The new york cafe it’s very close, 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Hotel is walkable to restaurants and train station.
Late night staff service
Great spot, a little further out from the main hussle and bussle but very accessible with public transport, walking and taxis fairly cheap. We stayed fri-mon and found it very quiet for a weekend. Room has everything you need for a short trip. The full standing mirror didn't have any electrical sockets near so only option was to use the hair dryer in the bathroom which is a bit inconvenient if someone is using the bathroom. Bed was comfy enough, quite a thick duvet for summer but the air con worked great. Breakfast was ok, there was everything you need for a quick breakfast. The staff were constantly running round cleaning up as guests have no respect and think it's not their responsibility to clean up after themselves! Pancake machine didn't work the whole weekend we were there but there was plenty of other things to eat. Breakfast seating area was generous so no issues finding a seat even on the busiest day. There was a luggage store for day of check out which was handy as our flight was later in the afternoon. Reception is covered 24/7.
The Hotel in Budapest was about 2 minutes from a metro station (for travelling by metro) and was 2 minutes from a bus stop (for travelling by bus). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was an excellent location for seeing all areas of Budapest. The Hotel was clean and tidy. The room was excellent.
Wonderful stay
Clean and comfortable rooms with friendly and helpful staff. We would recommend the Ibis and other AllCOR hotels to others.
Ideally located comfortable hotel
Great hotel but breakfast isn't good
Good location 👌
Average experience.
1. No water or coffee maker or kettle in the room. Having to go down to reception everytime from Level-5 was a huge pain. This is not good customer service. 2. AC was not functional for all 3 days. We could manage somehow as a standby fan was provided for 3 nights. 3. On day 3 there was no hot water in the bathroom.
Location in walkable distance to almost every part of the town. Potential improvements in offering vegan option for breakfast.
Base to explore the city from
Good location to explore the city centre. Breakfast was ok and plenty to choose from. Room was comfortable and good value for the price I paid. Overall a decent hotel on a budget although not sure about the Space Invaders themed room!
Great hotel.
Nice comfortable hotel
Great hotel and good location to centre as well as to local transportation. I always try to stay here as the rooms are very comfortable. I enjoy the breakfast which is always included in the price but please have porridge everyday. I don’t understand why on one day they substituted penne pasta instead. Who eats pasta for breakfast ?
Room was okay. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful. Close to touristic attractions
Amazing & unique
Excellent Location, Staff is super friendly & helpful. Breakfast is good. The decor is playful & fresh.
I enjoyed the retro video game decor. Breakfast was decent. Easy access to public transportation too
The property is situated very close to the City Center and is very accessible by bus/tram/train/subway. The area is just about 15-20 minutes ride by public transit and you will be able visit historical and places of interest. Hotel staff are very helpful, nice, and accommodating. I will definitely recommend this place not just to my family and friends but also to those who travel alone and in groups.
Awesome place to stay!
Great Hotel for families & solo travellers alike.
I was a solo traveller but would definitely stay with the family also. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very relaxing and clean. Loved the decor, brought a smile to my face daily, thank you. Breakfast was good, fresh and a good variety. Good location for walking and public transport. I will return to Budapest and will book here again.
Great location within the city centre, close to the metro and buses which makes it easy to explore the city. Good variety of options for breakfast and high standard of cleaning. Staff very friendly and welcoming upon check in. Also offer to store your luggage if you come before check in.
Location and Service
It is walkable to the some highlights of the city.
Pleasant stay and good location
As an often visitor of Budapest, always want to try out Ibis Styles, finally have the opportunity this time and was really pleasant. Perfect location we were able to park the car right outside of the hotel. Cons is breakfast was “essential” nothing much.
Convenient location, well priced lovely staff fantastic english all through out Budapest but the cleanliness needs improvement , even the staff were aware that there are cleaning issues in the rooms and they had raised them to management and management ignored it but a fantastic stay
TIMEA WAS VERE NICE
Walkable to train station and to christmas market, tho markets a good long walk. Breakfast buffet (included) best ive seen in europe.
We had a fantastic four night stay at the property, I would highly recommend. On reservation I asked for courtyard rooms as I'm a light sleeper and when we got there we had two rooms which not only overlooked the courtyard but were right at the end of the corridor so there was hardly any noise. I slept really well, it was very quiet. The staff were all really friendly and helpful as well, I'd definitely stay again.
Reception team are very supportive and helpful.
The weather was chilly, and one of the rooms was also chilly
Excelent
Good got the value
Air conditioning kept the room cool but not cold and was uncontrollable. Shower was decent with a detachable head, bed was good.
It was really central and right next to a train and tram station, which is really convenient! The beds were comfy and rooms were clean, price affordable too. People working at the desk weren’t rude but could have been friendlier.
Location is convenient, next to metro station. Staff is nice and friendly. But the toilet in our room has some smell and the ventilation fan is not working.
Decent hotel in a fairly central location
Decent hotel within a wider city centre. Not much to write home about, the room is simple but clean and provides the basic amenities. On a busy road but most rooms seem to be around an inner courtyard so no outside noise - at the same time there's limited natural light and the room was quite dark. Housekeeping provided only on request. Breakfast pretty good, with both hot and cold options.
Staff were lovely and very friendly. Decent sized rooms. Hotel is very close to public transport and plenty to do/see nearby.
Friendly stuff,Breakfast,clean
Room nice size and very clean, very well located, breakfast buffet is great
Good stay, disaponting support from the hotel
Nice hotel, good stay, good breakfast. The only disappointing thing was that I forgot my charger inthe room and the when contacting the hotel after, the mesaages received where that nothing was found…
For a one night stay it's fine
The hotel overall is ok, the gaming theme throughout the hotel is a little bit funny, the rooms are extremely small, I had looked at the pictures before my stay and it seemed like an average sized room, but when me and my boyfriend got into the room we were shocked at the size of it. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is fine. Overall, we were in transit for one night so for us it was alright, but I would not recommend this hotel for a long-term stay.
What you pay is what you get
Good hotel, near metro and tram stop, good price. Its clean and i noticed windows are sound proof. Water from the shower is not strong. Lovely breakfast. Will stay here again if i will visit budapest again.
Ibis budget not styes
Felt more like ibis budget than ibis styles. We arrived at about 2pm when check in was starting, were given keys to a room that was not ready/clean, then got given keys to a room that clearly had not been checked by housekeeping as there were no towels, no tissues, almost no toilet paper etc. The room its self was fine and the beds comfortable however the noise from the street was very loud when the windows were opened (the room was warm and the heating controls were partialy broken) police sirens could be heard often late at night and early morning even with windows closed. The breakfast was decent however the staff try to clear your table before you have even finished the food so it feels a bit like you are being rushed, same with the housekeeping as we left the room to go to breakfast with over 1 hour of breakfast left and 2 hours until check out they saw us leave the room and we saw them go into the room to see if we had left. The front desk some were helpful and polite others not so much and it was disappointing to have to go to the lobby to get hot water for a tea or coffee, the drinks machine was not very good and the cups tiny, again all seems to scream budget. All in all an ok stay but having stayed in other ibis styles hotels and ibis budget hotles this felt more like budget not styles and like they just want to process you through the turnstyles and then replace you with the next customer. Like a travelodge but less dated.
Excellent
God clean extremely clean and tidy hotel would definitely recommend.
A very well situated hotel with friendly staff. The hotels is also very clean and well maintained. It caters for younger people so it can be a little loud throughout the night so I’d recommend some ear plugs if you’re easily woken. The breakfast was good with a wide selection which varied across the days we were there. Overall a great place to stay for a few days in Budapest!
The property was as expected for the price. The room was small but big enough for one person. The room was very warm and when I asked for the air con to be turned on the staff explained that the heating is on throughout winter, and air con on throughout summer. He suggested opening a window (there was a lot of noise outside so opening the window wasn’t ideal) and if that didn’t work he would give me a fan. The staff were very helpful when needed, they replaced anything in my room that had ran out (there was no soap when I arrived). I don’t know if the room had been cleaned before I arrived as there was what appeared to be chocolate on the floor. The staff were helpful when there was a very loud guest at 1.30am, they asked them to keep the noise down. The breakfast was simple but did the job. There were pastries, cooked eggs, salami/ chorizo, cereal and breads. The hotel is right near to a metro station and a number of bus stops. It is also easy to get the airport shuttle to a nearby bus stop then either walk 15 minutes or take a 3 min bus to the hotel. Overall, a decent hotel for the price.
4 night stay
Location is decent, relatively close to bars and restaurants. Majority of the big attrcations ( castle, parliament, heroes square) are 30 to 45 mins walk away. Despite the area being very busy the rooms are very quiet. Unfortunately the hotel was in a very poor state when I was there, the reception area was being renovated and under a huge dust cover as you walk in, not a great first impression. The front desk staff were friendly. There was a plumbing issue in the hotel and the was a nasty smell lingering throughout the stay, as well as this the carpets were all covered with paper/plastic and several tiles were left lying around the hallways which looked awful and was a trip hazard. This should all have been mentioned on hotels.com when booking. When arriving back at the hotel at night anytime after 10pm there was never anybody present on the front desk or security so anyone could’ve walked into the hotel.Overall has to be said this was the worst Ibis styles I’ve stayed in and have stayed in several across Europe. Rooms and finishing more to the levels of a standard Ibis Hotel.
Get what you pay for really
Location is amazing ! Super close to everything and very central. There was construction noise which was super loud and not fun at all. Also the sound proofing is questionable as we could hear everything in the hall ways. The breakfast was okay. Overall I'd say pretty good value for money
Place was clean, room and bed large enough. Reception staff were just so helpful. But negatives - a. claiming Covid you do not get automatic cleaning but they will do it if you ask, b. position of hotel is dreadful - hugely noisy and dirty area, and c. breakfast acceptable for 3 star hotel but coffee (from cheap machine) totally unacceptable.
Exactly what we expected based off the photos and other reviews! Clean and everything you need. Great value for the price, close to transit, and good breakfast. Would stay again.
The staff was helpful
It was normal, the cleanliness was not good.
very good location. friendly staff. very adequate breakfast.
Good location, great value for cost. Staff slightly rude - felt uncomfortable at times asking for advice and reccomendations.
Nice staff and good choices of breakfast. There is a computer and printer to use.
Бюджетная гостиница. Завтрак однообразный. Комнаты чистые. Попросил набор для бритья сказали что нет. На сайте написано что есть. Матрасы вполне удобные. Своих денег стоит.
Nice central hotel. Pretty cheap too. There’s pac man all over the walls which is interesting!
The rooms are small, so if there are two of you bring your organization skills for anything beyond a very short stay. The breakfast is decent and the staff do a great job of keeping up with tour groups who eat like they missed meals this week and aren’t sure about next week. This seems to be a very popular hotel, so book early. All staff (except the one on the morning of Nov 01) are very cheerful and pleased to help. There is are tables and chairs where you can bring food back to eat and there is a small bar that sells drinks. This helps the small room issue. My only gripe is that our room, 210, had a sewer smell fro the bathrdrain that housekeeping could not rectify. My son’s room next door, however, did not have this. Avoid 210, perhaps?
Great location and breakfast. Walkable to transportation and sights.
Great hotel, good breakfast options and fantastic location. Airport shuttle stop a 10 minute walk. Bus snd metro only 10 minutes. Plenty to see and do in the area. Clean rooms with decent beds
Super clean room. Nice breakfast. Nice staff. Easy check in and out.
Excellent staff right from the moment we checked in until we checked out would definitely go back again , great breakfast
The breakfast buffet is really nice. Delicious food provided. Good location with good transportation networking nearby.
Great location but odd decor.
Ibis styles centrum hotel in Budapest was a great location in central Budapest to see the city sights during our short stay. The front desk staff was helpful with questions and suggestions. Easy access to casual dining, shops and public transit (subway/trams)Strong wifi service, but limited TV channels. While the room was typical Ibis standard size, everything worked, but the choice of decor and the gaming theme throughout was really gaudy and not appealing to non Teenagers.
Terrible service from the receptionist, flies on breakfast items but the room was tidy
Totally disappointed
Far worse than expected as a design hotel. Room is too dark with insufficient light bulb, which we failed to appreciate the design or even do anything in the room. The air-conditioning is completely out of order during our 2-night stay which the staff didn’t mentions at all until we complained! Only got a fan in a small, hot and stuffy room and can barely sleep. Strange smell in the toilet which is unbearable.
Liked the decor and the location the room was quite small and the air con in the rooms was not working
Friendly staff / nice room though a bit compact! Breakfast was good with a reasonable selection but machine coffee not so good
Great breakfast. Super location, 50m away from metro. Close to ruinpubs.
It was nice and simple room. I did not like the shower because there was no sliding door to close it
Good location
Good location, near station & city
Good hotel in a great location. Had an issue with the shower blocking but would still return. Good breakfast.
Bad experience
Room 120 was awful. Aircon was not working. And when you open the window you can hear the voices from other rooms. The smell in the toilet/shower was terrible, smells like coming from sewage system. Room 120 is located in the end corner but you can hear the bang from other room and stair door.
Stay here!
From check in to way past check out (since they stored our luggage, hosted us at the bar after noon while we waited for our train) everything was perfect. Great staff. Great room. Over the top breakfast. There was chocolate cappuccino! Steps away from metro line 2 and tram 4. Can walk to Keleti station.
Reasonable position. Very small room. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast only OK. Transport links excellent. Slightly quirky hotel. Would prefer coffee maker in room rather than in lobby. Quiet at night so got good sleep.
Quirky decoration, modern hotel, spacious room. Good breakfast thogh becomes a bit 'samey' if you're staying for a few days. Helpful staff
Modern, clean hotel
The hotel is located on a busy street, just around the corner from the famous and amazingly decorated New York Cafe. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff at the front desk and check in was straightforward. I was in a huge room ( the biggest they have) with a balcony overlooking the street, massive windows and a really high ceiling. The decor is loud with lime green and orange and Space Invades motives on the walls and carpet. It’s a functional style of hotel not luxury but had everything I needed and it all worked, plus it was clean, quiet and well maintained. The breakfast was served at the rear of the reception area. There was plenty of choice, hot and cold and staff were quick to clear up dirty plates.
Well air conditioned and nice and clean. Plentiful (included) breakfast, and kind and helpful staff.
Perfect location, close to everything, good transportation access, good restaurants, and nice corner room.
Prefect location for walking
Excellent helpful staff. Walked to all attractions and hop on hop off bus.
I have good option in central Budapest
This property is about a block to the M-2 metro. It’s about 20 minutes walk down town toward the Danube. We stayed in it because it look like it was a lot more central than a basic Ibis property. But as we walked- the Ibis regular property was only a couple blocks away and actually closer to downtown. However it was a good property to stay in. But I think the ambulance drivers make a sport of flashing their lights and sirens in the middle of the night. So I don’t recommend the front side of the hotel for noise reasons. Also, 15 minute walk to the Keleti train station with trains leaving to all parts of Europe.
Very good hotel.
Excellent staff and breakfast, but air conditioning wasn’t working and it was HOT. Staff supplied fans on request which helped a bit.
Nice comfy hotel, good location, good breakfast
Nice hotel, basic but very comfy. Staff are friendly and helpful We had an issue on check in, one of our rooms had been mistakenly booked for Aug instead of April but it was rectified quickly even with the hotel being full. Good location on a main road so easy to find and just outside of all the attractions, we walked everywhere Good buffet breakfast too
Good location.
This is a 3-star hotel, located one block from a Metro station. Accommodations are fine. Good breakfast, included in price. Staff were friendly.
Good value. Clean and convenient location.
Convenient location. Good breakfast. No fridge and coffee maker in rooms. Water and hot drink available free all day at the lobby. Bed mattress is soft. Free wifi but it is weak in the room.
Friendly staff, good rooms. Would stay again if I'm ever back in Budapest
Perfect location
The hotel's location is a dream. We walked everywhere. It's really pretty loved the decor as well. But tea and water in rooms would be nice instead of having to come down to the lobby to get them. Not much to do in the hotel either bit apart from that would definitely definitely recommend.
Room had a strong smell of sewage and there was broken glass on the floor which i cut myself on. Staff didnt seem overly concerned when i told them i had sliced my hand.
Great location. Fun theme. Would recommend.
Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay at the ibis styles in Budapest. Very helpful staff and a fun theme the moment you step in. Central location with many bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.
Very close to the metro, a convenient location to all attractions. Staff are friendly and nice.
Value for money stay for sure!
Loved my stay!
Beware the shower temperature! Don't be burned!!!
The shower is killing me! seriously, ready to be burned or just turn the temperature to very low. The water temperature is so unstable, sometime bloody hot sometimes normal. Also the basic economy room is way smaller than you expected, my mid-sized baggage can barely opened, think about it. Other than these concerns, it's a nice hotel, pretty clean, breakfast selections are variety, wifi is super strong.
Generally good, especiall breakfast
Convenient for the main train station and metro. Supermarkets nearby. If yiu're energetic it's within walking distance of all the places you'll wish to see if but there's also plenty of public tranportation. Good breakfast. There's no tea/coffee maker in the room as stated, only in the lobby. Lots of traffic noise and no clean towels during a 5 day stay.
Adequate for one night
Breakfast very good, hotel clean and helpful staff. Our bathroom smelt of drains however, quite unpleasant. Room seemed very small and dark, grey walls didn't help and I got fed up of the little characters round the walls. Also missed having a kettle in the room etc. Adequate for one night.
Great hotel
Great hotel close to a metro tram and busses Very clean and the stuff were very helpful The only thing is the shower where it half way closed and the bathroom would always get wet. Otherwise it’s a fun place to be lounging, eating and just enjoying the experience.

Excellent central hotel
Brilliant stay and excellent location for metro and buses. Very friendly staff.
