Beaune, Burgundy- convenient to the historic core

The hotel employees were enthusiastic and helpful. The properly was convenient to exploring Beaune’s historic, walled areas, and a short walk to the train / bus station, making it easy to go to small wine villages in the vicinity.

Perfect location for an overnight stop and a walk around lovely Beaune.

Really needs a renovation - entrance and breakfast area all ok BuT the guest room corridors and rooms are pretty poor. Extremely basic. Extremely crappy to be correct

Great Hotel

I'm on a month long European trip visiting several countries and out of the seven hotels I've stayed this was my number one favorite..between location, staff and amenities, I mean hell they have a self-serve fresh squeezed orange juice machine with their great complementary breakfast.. if in Beaune this is the hotel to stay at

Pleasant stay, excellent location. Staff was friendly. Special thanks to the kind gentleman working the breakfast- we arrived 5 minutes prior to the breakfast finishing as we were adjusting the time change. He was very accommodating, made us coffee and fresh orange juice and made us feel welcome.

Well positioned hotel let down by service

This three night stay was blighted by a complete lack of internet from Saturday morning until we left on Monday. Whilst the issue was outside the control of the hotel, some notices to tell guests about the issue should have been posted. In fact, it was only after my wife suggested this to the duty manager that this was done after 36 hours. Why do hotels post meaningless notices in their bathrooms about towels? Claiming to be eco-friendly, they suggest you hang up your towels if you don’t want them changing. Countless times in hotels we do precisely that and the housekeeping staff completely ignore it and change the towels regardless. This hotel followed that same route although they left them the first day, but the second day, they were whisked away. What a complete waste of water, electricity and time! Call your housekeeping staff in and brief them, or take the meaningless notices out of the bathrooms and remove claims of eco-friendliness from your websites. It may be a small issue to some, but drives ups mad!

All good for overnight stop as very close to Town Centre. But warning that much of the town is closed on a Monday ( love the 🇫🇷😏) Breakfast not very exciting.

Walking distance from the train station, town center, and many great restaurants. Hotel staff is friendly. Price is very reasonable for a tourist town. Basic breakfast options. Room itself is very small, rather uncomfortable bed, and very few amenities (just paper cup, no tissue, no bath towel, etc). Giving the size of the town, this is an ok choice, but don’t expect too much.

Not very clean, excellent breakfast and location

The staff and amenities were good. This place is a 15 minutes walk from the train station and easy to find. The daily breakfast was the same everyday and it was fine. The coffee machine was good to have in the morning. In addition, tea and coffee were available in the lobby throughout the day for consumption. The room was small but this is the standard in France.I would come back when I come back to Brains.

Fabulous!

Hotel is in the perfect position right in the centre of Beaune, which is a beautiful, picturesque gem of a town. Easy to walk around and plenty to see. Plenty of wine bars and restaurants, but book in advance to avoid disappointment! Hotel is clean, comfortable and covid safe. Good breakfast included and free tea and coffee during the day. Parking was €12 per night, but secure and safe , if not there is a free car park a few hundred metres away.

The hotel is well situated and a short walk to just about everything in Beaune. The on site parking was a help and worth the fee.

The air conditioning is not adequate to cool down during the night. It would be good to have USB sockets in the rooms. Good breakfast but coffee disappointing

Convenient and comfy stay

We enjoyed four nights at the Ibis - chosen because it is directly across the road from the Information Centre for Beaune. We also loved the underground parking (9€). Rooms are a little small but the beds are comfy and everything works - lights, windows, hot water etc. TV included CNN and a couple of American channels - a break from the French channels. Breakfast was buffet - cereals, some fruit, yoghurt, juice, coffee and tea, pastries and breads, plus cheeses and meats - good variety. Easy place to stay and so convenient!!!

Good for biz, no charm for tourists

This is a pretty "plastic" , chain hotel. It has what you need and a reasonable breakfast, but this is not an "experience" hotel. Easy walking access to all of central Beaune.

It would be helpful if Ibis provided a small fridge in the room

Rude staff

Very calm and comfortable for a one-night stay. The free coffee and tea was a nice touch. The continental breakfast was a little sparse though.

Only 8 mins from railway station. Modern hotel.clean and bright 2 mins walk to town square. Nice breakfast and noon check out a bonus. Looked after our bags till late afternnon train. Hotel set up for kids too.i deal for overnight stop.would stay again

Stay for the proximity & A/C. Not for the service.

Rooms were good and spacious enough for two + luggage. pretty standard fare. No fridge in-room, but at least there was A/C. Unfortunately when we visited, the lift was broken so we had to carry up our heavy luggage to the third floor - staff didn't even offer to assist. Staff were hardly helpful. Since it's a bit far from the train station, we were asking for assistance to book a cab since we had luggage. They refused to try since 'no cab will take you anyway because it's too short a trip for them.' Ummm okay we're probably not the first tourists in town to need that short of a trip right? We asked for other options and they had nothing to give. Meh. But they're one of the few hotels in the area that's close to city centre and had A/C, so... stay here for that, and also only if you're a patient, non-confrontational person like me.

Excellent location, right in Beaune centre

The perfect place to stay for a night stop mid France. Good car parking facilities,friendly helpful staff & great buffet breakfast. All the facilities you could need. Will definitely use again.

Great breakfast, adequate room

Included breakfast was very hearty. Hotel room was small. You are right across the street from an entrance to old town Beaune. Couldn't get a lighter blanket as requested so we took an extra sheet off the housekeeping cart and made do with that. Duvet was way too heavy. Parking underground is available for an extra charge. Wifi was good.

It is in a great location. The beautiful manager Audrey was very helpful and professional.

Great stop over location that won’t let you down

Very nice hotel, well located on the mini ring road of this small and pretty town. On the short walk to the centre ville you will pass or see a host of bars and restaurants. This is an ideal stop over and if driving, the hotels secure parking is convenient easy and not badly priced at €11. Service very good and I like this chain’s inclusive buffet breakfast.

Great spot in Beaune!

We loved this place! We traveled all over Europe and this one was the most modern, cleanest, and best value. Plus, it's just a few steps from the city wall and Beaune is an AWESOME medieval city. Loved this place!

A modern, stylish hotel

We stayed one night in this hotel on the way back from Provence. It is very conveniently located just off the motorway. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Wifi was free. There is secure underground parking at a cost of 9 euros. Free drinks and snacks are available in the lounge. The breakfast was excellent. There are many restaurants 5-10 minutes walk away. We would definitely stay again.

have used this brand of hotel before, so know what to expect. reception staff, upon arrival were attentative and polite. room was spotlessly clean. a plan of the town was freely available at reception and, using this, the short walk into the town was straightforward. breakfast contained all that you would want of a continental buffet. payable underground parking was easy to use. to sum up, super value for money, good location and very friendly. would not hesitate to use again if in the area, or would even make a detour to stay

Just a B and B

Supposed to be s superior Ibis but it seems like any other Ibis but more expensive.No restaurant or bar working in August. Bread at breakfast was stale.

Great hotel in Beaune

A very good example of a chain hotel experience. Just opposite the city walls so you will be in the centre in minutes. Car parking in a secure underground car park is €9. Decent breakfast.

One night stop over en route to Cote D'Azur. Hotel well located as only a 200 yard walk to main street and food and drink. Free Parking in central market square overnight was a bonus and all adjacent hotels seem to recommend that to save their customers some money. All Good overall and is a good stop over point as close to Autoroute

Booked this hotel for the position and what a great choice. The staff are very friendly and a special mention to Marilyn on reception who went out of her way to make us welcome and made sure a special need of mine was met.If she was the face of Ibis the chain would be our only choice. The free continental breakfast was very good with awesome machine making freshly squeezed orange juice

Super comfy beds in a great location

So close to the centre of town, but on the edge so easy to access. Also only a 10min walk from the train station. Bed was super comfy and included breakfast was sufficient.

Ibis Styles Beaune

Modern style hotel with newish facilities had pool which we used regularly as it was hot. Hotel just outside city wall very convenient to old town. Building opposite or room laser lit up each night. Free tea and coffee all day in lobby. Poor wifi kept dropping out.

Just stopped for one night. Passing through. Very pleasant hotel and town. All the comforts of a modern hotel in a quaint setting.

Return trip to Beaune in same hotel different room which happened to be for disabled. Bed just as comfortable, shower curtain not effective enough to keep water from flooding floor and Lino badly fitted. Seemed like a room for single person as only single hanging rail and one bedside lamp. Also door opened to give full view of bed - thought beds should be behind door to avoid mishaps with mix ups? Room only just adequate in size. Very clean and linen and towels changed daily. Staff excellent especially Aurélie at breakfast who is a quiet bundle of welcoming efficiency and 'rien ne lui échappe'in impeccable cleanliness and service. Un vrai bijou.

Impeccable

We have known Beaune for 25 yrs and we're pleased to stay at the new Hotel in the most convenient of places and next door to our favourite Piq Boeuf resto. This Ibis fills all our requirements for a short stay anywhere. It is impeccably clean, practical modern and extremely comfortable. The standard room was moderate size and the furnishing and equipment practical and user friendly. I am utterly nit picking to say that a box of tissues would be appreciated. The staff have a ready smile and friendly non intrusive manner and are immediately responsive which is refreshing to find and the breakfast buffet is first class. The communal areas are bright and spacious. There is parking in the basement and all access is well planned. Haven't met the exercise facilities yet. We have stayed in other hotels but we no longer appreciate the quaint French rustic ambiance of some. This will be our hotel for future visits to our beloved Beaune. Idéale! Thank you for ticking all our boxes at your latest, much welcomed, addition to ibis at Beaune.

Perfect hotel for the job.

Just a quick night in Beaune which is the half way point in the long drive from the south of France to the channel ferry ports. I have stayed before and the same English manager was there again. It's easy to find with private parking and it's opposite a great restaurant for wine and local specialities. The perfect hotel for the job...

Comfortable Hotel and well located

We were very happy with this hotel for our 1 night stay in Beaune. The location was perfect for our needs - just across the road from one of the entry points to the old town. Hotel appeared to be recently renovated so all was fresh and clean. We found the breakfast offerings to be very good for a Continental Breakfast with ham, cheese, yoghurts, pastries and even freshly squeezed orange juice.Overall we wee very happy with our choice of hotel in Beaune.

Comfortable functional hotel

Stayed one night here before continuing our drive through France. Hotel is conveniently located not far from town centre, and has underground parking available for a small fee. Friendly reception, and overall it's perfectly comfortable and clean, good for a functional stay, with decent breakfast. Wifi was available for free although for some reason we had to keep logging in every time we wanted to use it (minor point).

Celebrating a special anniversary.
