Great stay!

This hotel is in a wonderful location. And it’s an excellent night sleep. Super cold in the summer months!

Good location

Dirty marked Carpet, Telephone did not work . long wait at bar

On-site restaurant had poor service and food for high prices. Room had two single beds out together with mattress toppers meaning sheets didn’t fit and came loose easily. This meant sleep was difficult

Great 2 pools shared with the Mercure. Ping pong tables and pétanque available. Nice breakfast on the terrasse.

Restaurant NOT vegetarian friendly

Being vegan it was an unexpected, unpleasant, surprise to find out that the restaurant was "The Butchery" and further than there were no vegetarian (let alone vegan) options available.

Comfortable hotel

It was very good hotel.The hotel was very clean. The reservation manager was very polite and the lady was very nice and accommodating. The pool was very clean and we had no problems. The breakfast was excellent.

The small room was facing the parking and was actually below the parking level. The staff told us that we should have sent an email to secure a better room. It was dark and did not provide any privacy. Additionally, the WIFI kept coming up and down for some reasons.

Short stay

Used as a short stop this time but have used before. Good restaurant and nice pool with sun loungers. Small but comfy rooms. Plenty of parking, a little away from much else so recommend a car.

bis - Sophia Antipolis

I thought the place was excellent, good service, good location, good value. This was let down by my room smelling of unwashed laundry and there was no soap in the shower dispenser. Luckily I had brought my own. I go to that area reasonably frequently and will go again.

Sufficient for one night

Good location for the purpose of my visit. Bed was clean but bathroom smelled a bit (no window there). There was no trashcan/bin anywhere in the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

Food Issue

There was no food available in the restaurant @ around 10pm on 14th October Sunday as there weren't many guests in the hotel. Practically the restaurant was closed and there wasn't anyone who could cook food in the restaurant either. After requesting the receptionist to check if at least salad can be made available, she assured she will check if something can be made available from a separate/different Ala Carte Menu, which she gladly did and for which I am very thankful to her. She made a Bolognese Lasagne available from the Menu Card. The staff in the reception could have offered me at least this prior to saying 'NO', there isn't any food available at this time of the night and our restaurant is closed due to less Customers and there is no one in the Kitchen to cook food. I am sure that the restaurant could have made bread /Butter/Cheese/salad available and in this case the frozen food/cold food could be made available, which really creates a different impression about the property that food is available when you arrive late at the hotel (I understand there could be a time limit) but 10pm is too early to turn away a customer staying at the hotel.Thanks again to the receptionist who made my evening and stay comfortable that night.

Great location for quiet/work

I had a really good stay overall. Super located for transport (stop for FANTASTIC cheap bus services to Antibes, Nice & Airport right there) and staff were helpful and breakfast had enough choice for me (fresh fruit, live yoghurt!) and its good to have the option of eating in (limited menu, but again they had something for me). The only 2 negatives were that the ventilation from the bathroom didn't work (and clearly had not for some time) and had not been fixed, and that the walls are very thin - if someone in an adjacent room (or his TV/radio) is loud, you can hear every word/note.

Good value for money

The Sophia Ibis is one of the nicer Ibis hotels. It’s relatively inexpensive, clean and the staff are always polite.

Nice basic hotel a bit far from centreville

The hotel is a bit far from any action, but it is relaxing. You will need a car for sure but there is plenty of free parking. The rooms are nothing special, it's an Ibis, but that also means heavenly soft beds! There is some road construction going on (May '17) that re-routes you a bit out of the way, and also they are making a new Boutcherie Restaurant that isn't finished yet. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The Wifi was fast and free, able to video chat and stream. There was English speaking TV channels too.

The thermostat in the room didn't work. They gave me a portable heater instead. Basic hotel and room. Ok place as it's close to work and convenient.

The staff make it

Booked this Ibis for a work trip as the Mercure was fully booked. My previous Ibis experience was okay... You know what you're getting. A lower cost hotel, limited facilities but does the job. This was a much better experience. The hotel was the usual except the food, having had lunch here twice was great and the availability of the pool was very welcome. However as the title suggests it's the staff that made it for me. They were all so amazing! Everyone was helpful, they accepted my limited French vocabulary and questionable pronounciation with a by smile and a 'thank you' every time. The staff are he credit to this Ibis and a reason I would happily stay there anytime I'm in Nice again.

Two nights in Sophia Antipolis

I selected the Ibis for a two night stay on business at the nearby ETSI HQ based on its reasonable price and location; it’s situated near ETSI (and several other business locations) and it’s possible to get to the hotel using the 230 bus from the airport. The service was friendly and I’d rate it as excellent, the restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast. The hotel has a pool which looks nice - but I didn't get to try it out. The room was clean and I found the bed was comfortable but facilities fairly basic. The shower arrangement in the bathroom would not be suited to many people (the ceiling is very low as it the shower mount). I had to keep the window shut due to the noise coming from a fan/ air-con outlet.

Disappointing

Generally the condition o's this hotel is satisfactory. However the quality of the rooms is very basic. There is no air conditioning. The complimentary soap is in a squeezy tube on the wall. Toilet paper is the worst quality. No separate tissues offered. No irons or ironing boards in rooms. The chairs in the rooms are very uncomfortable. Lighting is harsh. In fact the rooms and corridors feel like a hostel standard. The service at the front desk is good but the waiting staff in the restaurant are rude and slow. The food is not very good. I will not be returning.

Solo traveller

I stayed from evening to evening only because of the meetings and the hotel was okay as far as I could see.

Great hidden gem!

A great hotel with real value for money. The fact it has a nice clean terrace and swimming pool is a real benefit. Hotel staff friendly and the rooms are basic but clean. The only downside would be the location but it was not a problem for us as we had a car.

Nice hotel

We found the hotel easily by GPS (had the coordinates programmed from Google Maps). It is in a rather remote location, but you get free parking, free wifi, clean rooms and very friendly staff who also speak English well. Only thing I missed was a bathroom door that can be locked (our room had a regular door knocker with no locking mechanism whatsoever).

Functional, clean, good service

Well located for meetings in Sophia Antipolis. Room was clean and met my basic needs (bed, internet, shower). In room WiFi access worked first time and was fast. Service was friendly and prompt at all times. Breakfast was an OK buffet for the price. The areas I would like the hotel to improve are the chair in the room and the bathroom amenities - Just a folding, camping chair is not comfortable for doing work. Bathroom amenities are basic. The bathroom has tube of liquid soap fixed to the wall, which serves as soap, shampoo, body gel. Apart from that, I'm very satisfied. The hotel meets all the basic needs of someone who visits for one night.

Ibis near Nice

This hotel was great for the business trip I was on. It was just minutes from my appt up the road, and from there, Nice was a very enjoyable 20 minutes away. The hotel was fairly basic, but the bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but decent nonetheless (viennoiseries, bread, deli, cheese, jam, honey and the regular selection of beverages). However, we got there past 11pm and my colleague who had not eaten was really hungry. The lady at the reception desk let him pick anything and she fixed him a quiche...although there was no one else left in the dining room. I thought that was very nice. In short, friendly, clean and a good deal. Would return there again on another business trip.

Chambre 217: Chambre communicante , j’ai entendu tout ce qui se passait a coté et gênant pour moi-même pour regarder la télévision par exemple. Eau de la douche avec problème pour l’eau froide, je me suis brûlé dans la douche… petit dej correct mais sans plus

Bel hôtel facile à trouver !

Magnifique hôtel avec un accueil superbe, un professionnalisme à toute épreuve, voilà les premières impressions que j'ai eu, une fois dans ma chambre avant et après ma prestation, à quelques encablures de là. La chambre justement était hyper propre, calme surtout. Je n'ai pas eu le temps de prendre un petit déj car un long temps de retour vers Aix-en-Provence m'attendait. Ce n'est que partie remise bien évidemment. Bref, dans l'ensemble bravo et merci au staff en place. Marc.

Mention spéciale au personnel Ibis S Antipoli

Très court séjour afin d'assister à un match de foot a Nice. Nous devions juste dormir quelques heures avant de 0rendre la route a 4h00 le lendemain. Personnel au top et un petit déj a emmener a même était fourni.

A cause d'une employée je n'y retournerai plus

Il suffit d'un grain de sable pour enrayer tout le mécanisme... l'hotel en lui meme était bien ainsi que tout le personnel aimable et professionnel. Il n'a suffit que d'une employée pour m'enlever l'envie d'y revenir. Conseil à la direction : faite passer le message que si un client vous dit qu'il est seul dans sa chambre, vous êtes dans l'obligation commerciale de le croire sur parole. Je suis rentrer avec ma collègue un soir, je demande à la dame de la reception d'enregistrer ma carte de crédit pour de futur consommations. En vérifiant sur le registre elle voit que je suis seul dans ma chambre, commence alors à faire une enquête policière en demandant à ma collègue son nom et son numéro de chambre. J'ai beau lui expliquer qu'elle n'a pas besoin d'avoir ces informations pour enregistrer ma carte mais elle ne démords pas ! Après vérification, elle s'aperçoit qu'elle est bien dans une chambre à part. Elle a beau avoir le droit de vérifier mais elle doit s'arrêter au moment meme ou le client lui dit qu'il est seul !!!

Hotel simple et isolé. Employés professionnels.

Pas la folie mais ok pour une halte

Nous avons passé une nuit au sein de l’hôtel. Hôtel commode pour une halte mais sans plus. La chambre sentait très mauvais à notre arrivée. Le lit double était petit. La salle de bain très basique. Parking sur place apprécié. Perdu au milieu de la pinède, au calme.

Séjour ibis Sophia antipolis

Agréable séjour en famille de 5 avec un bébé et 2 enfants de 6 et 13 ans. La durée de 7 jours fait que ce ne soit pas commode, car il manque un frigo dans les chambres très utile en été et de quoi laver et étendre les maillots. Concernant les serviettes pour la plage on peut demander aux femmes de ménage. Sinon personnel très agréable. Restaurant la boucherie très bon, petit déjeuner bon mais pas assez diversifié, tout les jours ce sont les même aliments qui sont proposés, au milieu du séjour on commencé déjà à s'en lasser.

Im Zimmer war ein sehr schlechter Geruch. Es sah nicht sauber aus und nicht gepflegt!

Séjour plutôt agréable et personnel très accueillant et souriant. Il manque juste des rangements dans la chambre.

J’ai passé 3 super semaines , et bien sûr un grand merci à la directrice du restaurant qui est au top .. très gentille très serviables et super rapide. J’ai hâte l’année prochaine et j’espère retrouver la même équipe..bravo à vous tous.

Établissement un peu cher par rapport aux prestations de la chambre

Etablissement correct et suffisement équipé. Je regrette simplement que ce ne soit jamais un drap housse pour les matelas car cela reste inconfortable lorsque l'on bouge la nuit. Je trouve aussi que le tarif est un peu élevé pour une nuit d'hotel, comme bien d'autres.

Correct price for a business stay

Correct price/performance ratio, staff is kind and welcoming. Breakfast is very good as there's a nice selection of pastries and bread. The shower head was a bit dodgy and tended to unseat from the support and fall. Bed is comfy enough, overall it's what you expect from a Ibis hotel.

Hotel très bien dans son ensemble

Aucun service de chambre pendant 3 jours et un accueil très froid le premier jour. En revanche le personnel des autres jours était souriant, agréable et attentionné...donc j'ai juste pas eu de chance de tomber sur la seule personne qui ne devrait pas travailler dans l'accueil...

Bon accueil

Un ibis ancienne génération. Ça mériterait un peu de rafraîchissement. Par contre excellent accueil, idem pour le PdJ. Pour le peu d'écart de prix avec une nuit au Novotel autant profiter d'un 4*.

Très bon séjour ! Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. La chambre était très propre rien à dire ! La piscine agréable! Très bien situé dans la verdure et le calme mais à proximité de commerces de marineland antibes land… le service pdj au top il y a du choix et on ne vous presse pas ! J’y retournerai avec grand plaisir !

Hotel "classique " pas chère

En couple , hotel classique. Chambre un peu petite.

Hôtel à rénover, moquette salle et vielle dans la chambre, il mérite un rafraichissement. Literie confortable, petit déjeuner super pour un ibis belle surprise. Belle piscine détente, belle terrasse pour prendre le petit déjeuner vue sur la piscine. Les seuls points positifs la piscine et le petit-déjeuner. La prochaine fois je vais reprendre le mercure sauf si l'hôtel est rénové.

Déçu

La piscine est superbe par contre le bâtiment est vieillot et la chambre très humide, séjour de 4 nuits nos vêtements puer l’humidité. La literie est a revoir aussi, un seul coussin par personne qui est très mou et un sur matelas pas très confortable. Pour un ibis je suis déçu.

hôtel fonctionnel et agréable

un séjour d'une nuit pour nous rendre à Menton : le personnel très professionnel et à l'écoute des clients, une piscine propre et un cadre dans la verdure et la pinède avec un restaurant la boucherie juste à côté permettant de ne pas repartir en voiture offrant une superbe côte de boeuf.

le confort de l'hôtel est conforme à la description, prix un peu élevé, mais je le recommande.

Attention chambre petite digne d'un F1. et cable électrique à vu, prises mal fixées.panne de courant changement de chambre. restaurant qui ne respecte pas les horaires. (22h10fermé) au lieu de 22h30. Positif : accés à l'accueil de l'hôtel mercure par les jardins : patio, baby-foot, trés cool.

Classical Ibis, but very good

Helpful and nice staff. The room is OK but the shower roof is too low. Bed is good. Great breakfast, I love the madeleines. And the choice of bread. Good restaurant. Great hassle-free wifi.

La piscine et les jardins sont bien entretenu. Le cadre est magnifique.

Personnel au top de la gentillesse et de la serviabilité. Équipements top. Tout y est pour petits et grands. Petit déjeuner avec une multitude d’excellents produits Il serait souhaitable d'améliorer l'accès dans la piscine avec une rampe pour se tenir. Étant handicapée j’ai été obligée de m’appuyer sur une béquille pour rentrer et sortir de l’eau. Côté ménage c propre mais les coins particulièrement entre le lavabo et la douche sont très très sales. Literie et serviettes sont impeccables. J’ai passé un super séjour

Superbe hôtel

Clients depuis plus de 30 ans nous constatons que cet établissement n'a fait que s'améliorer. Nous passons souvent des week-end l'été. Nous apprécions les aménagements, le professionnalisme de tous les employés et la proximité de toutes les villes de la région.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans l'établissement, personnel au top. petits déjeuners bons et copieux. Chambres propres et silence à toute heure. Piscine très belle, même si nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tester!

Piscine au top avec température idéale par rapport à la chaleur. Les chambres sont bien équipes. Le seul bémol c'est l'humidité dans la chambre (odeur) les serviettes n'arrivaient pas à sécher. Sinon ras !

Excelente café da manhã, equipe simpática área externa muito agradável, ótimo estacionamento.

Conforme au informations données, les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais suffisantes. Très bon accueil, personnel agréable. Une terrasse fabuleuse et le petit plus est la piscine.
