Wonderful hotel!

This is my third stay at the Hyatt Regency Yokohama, and it does not disappoint. Friendly, attentive staff, wonderful accommodations, and amenities make this my go-to hotel in the Tokyo area. I highly recommend it!

My family of 3 stayed at the Hyatt Regency Yokohama for 4 nights. We loved how big our room was and the efficient layout. Soaking in the large tub at the end of the day was a major plus. This hotel is centrally located to the subway and only a short walk to Chinatown. I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time made even more enjoyable with your superb staff.

世の中のSDGsの動きに反して、アメニティが色々ありました。久しぶりのアメニティ盛り沢山で、嬉しかったですし、使わさせてもらいました。ありがとうございます。 朝食に生野菜が見当たらなくて、残念でした。みおとしたのかな？

We had a girls trip and stayed just one night. The location is perfect. Only few minutes walking to China town. We all enjoyed the stay. Comfortable bed, clean room and nice shower room.

Good hotel but not a good customer experience

Hotel itself is great. Good location, large comfortable rooms with good breakfast. However I am extremely disappointed by Hyatt. We booked a room via Hotels.com for 3 people with breakfast. After paying and receiving confirmation, Hyatt sent an email that we need to pay addtional 1900 JPY for breakfast for 3rd person. This was not described when booked via Hotels.com. That Hyatt / Hotels.com make a mistake, can never be our issue as a customer. That a trusted company like Hyatt treat customers like this is very poor customer experience. This is not about the money itself, it is the fact Hyatt / Hotels.com treat put their mistakes on their customers. Disappointed!!

One of the best hotel stay in Japan.

We booked a room for our family of 4 and the room we were given had 2 beds a little larger than twins. We had been traveling that day and got in later so we made it work but very uncomfortable for our family to sleep. Area around the hotel is nice and walkable, fun sites to visit. Staff is very friendly and nice.

It was perfect. The hotel room was clean. Staff are so kind. I was pampered by all the amenities in the hotel.

Hotel is located close to everything, beautiful park, chinatown, Motomachi shopping centers and more. Hotel is very quiet. Room is big as Japanese standard and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will come back to stay there again next time.

The location is near yamashita park, but zero view in hotel room.

Very comfortable stay at luxury room and good location

Great location, excellent amenities near by including Yamashita Park, Yokohama Bay Stars Stadium and Red Brick warehouses. Easy 30 min walk to the centre of Yokohama or a couple of mins on the subway. Super easy access to Tokyo or the coast and Kamakura. China Town on the doorstep and Kannai a short walk away. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful building … a really fabulous stay,would definitely recommend!

Incredible stay, especially if you're flying out of HND airport. This feels more like a five star hotel than a 4 star.

Good room, very clean and staff were kind and helpful. Close to Nihon-Odori station. Lawsons and 7/11 very close.

Amazing

Location was very convenient to all the things we did. Hotel room was great! Room layout was great and roomy for my husband and I. Most other Japanese hotel rooms we’ve stayed at were much smaller. Chinatown is so close! The bar is great for nightcaps with friends. Area around the property is nice. Yokohama is a lot less crazy busy than Shibuya, Shinjuku or Tokyo where we have stayed on past trips to Japan. We will definitely be back!

Hyatt Regency Yokohama Review: I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Yokohama and had a wonderful experience. The room was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed, which made the stay even more comfortable. One of the best features is its location—just a short walk from Chinatown, making it very convenient for exploring the local area. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yokohama!

Fantastic hotel with friendly, attentive staff. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Both shower and bath were great, as were the coffee and tea available. We wished we had book for a few more nights to explore Yokohama more. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back soon.

Incredible hospitality. Big shout out to Duty Manager Yoshida who on our arrival took particular care of us considering our long haul flight. Everything was perfect! ......the room toilets by the way are spectacular

Reasonable price and very nice customer service

Everything was perfect except the mattres, it was a bit on the hard side.

Had a confirmed early check in by just 1 hour at 2pm instead of 3pm and then they refused to allow us access 1hour early but were checking in guests from 12pm and allowing them access to rooms.

This place exceeded my expectations. From hotel staff to service are outstanding.

Literally across the street from Chinatown. About 1 mile easy walk to red brick shopping.

Great stay prior to our cruise. Only a short walk to Chinatown that provides lots of dining options and snacks. Also walkable to Osanbashi cruise terminal. Staff are terrific and room was spacious and top notch. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of Asian and western choices. Will definitely stay here again!

The staff was amazing and accommodating, the hotel ambiance and it's location was key to our decision making. But my wife and I were still blown away by the amazing amenities. The comfort and at home feeling made it very difficult to checkout and leave. When I visit Japan again. I will definitely stay at the Hyatt Regency

Such an amazing hotel

My stay at the Hyatt Regency Yokohama was nothing short of amazing. This is a beautiful up to date hotel. The room was spacious for the 3 of us. The staff was very helpful despite the language barrier they tried their hardest to assist. We used the google translate feature which came in great handy throughout the trip. It's also an easy commute to Tokyo via the train. Its walking distance to Chinatown in Yokohama as well as other places to eat meals & grab snacks. If I am ever back in Japan I would absolutely return to this hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You will not regret it.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite during our stay. Location was very convenient especially for a young family. Room was very comfortable and clean. Would wholeheartedly recommend for a stay in Yokohama.

Very nice for the price

Couldn't have had any better accommodations. Staff was very friendly and helpful, club room was great and the area was beautiful and convenient to the subway and International Cruise Port was in walking distance.

Easy access to subway and several areas on foot

We only had one night before our cruise but I would have loved a few extra days.It’s in a great location for walking to shopping and restaurants.It’s about a 10 minute walk to the pier if you’re cruising.We paid for the breakfast and it was lovely with western and Asian choices

Hotel staff went far beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Had a medication emergency with our child and they bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of.

This was my first trip to Japan and the Hyatt regency yokohama made my trip that much more special!! The customer service was amazing, I felt like first class from the front desk to the house keeping. The area around the hotel was beautiful and I could walk everywhere or i took a taxi!!. The breakfast was the highlight of my morning. So many delicious options and i always enjoyed the Japanese breakfast. Overall the Hyatt regency yokohama will always be my go to when i return to Japan

Above expectations

The hotel was beautiful. And the toilet very good during the day but at night it was quite loud and difficult to not wake anyone during the night with it. Othwrwise, lovely.

It’s great!

I absolutely recommend this hotel. However, traveling with two young children was a bit of a challenge. But, we could have stayed at the Hyatt House so that was on us. Great location. Lots to do wonderful staff

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We reserved 2 twin rooms and they were adjoining with connecting inner doors that made our stay very comfortable. We drove from Narita airport and found the hotel and parking garage easily accessible. The parking garage is the elevator type with 2 loading doors and it cost 2000 yen per day. We never had to wait long to get our car down. Chinatown and the nearest metro station are only a 5 minute walk away. Also, there's a Lawson across the street and a 7-11 only a block away. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Yokohama.

This is an extraordinary hotel. Steps from the waterfront and Chinatown. Outstanding staff members at front deck, bellstaff and restaurants We would return to the Hyall Yokohama in a heartbeat. I would rather stay here than in Tokyoand use the marvelous trains.

Friendly to English speakers!

Amazing staff great thorough cleaning at housekeeping level and is complete with amenities incl PJ in case you forgot to bring yours. Team leader Kanke Kohei has such a professional disposition is helpful and has always got a smile on his face ! Great team at front office ! We’re very pleased with this choice of accommodation we made !

Staff and property are both excellent. Very convenient to cruise port and will stay here again.

Staff's communication skills are terrible. They arranged the lowest level king corner room to me. When I asked for changing the room, the manager said no directly, and said there are no other options. After making a phone call, the staff decided to down grade my king room to a twin room. I picked this hotel for my wedding anniversary and absolutely I made a wrong decision.

The room was very nice, spacious and comfy. We had three twins in room and still plenty of space to walk around and have the luggage open.

The hotel is beautiful. We stayed there 5 days before the cruise and 1 day after the cruise. The room was clean with lots of amenities. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to and from the cruise port. It was close to Chinatown, the subway, and the park. Check in for our first stay went well After our cruise ended, we walked from the port to the Hyatt. I worked as a front office manager at a Wyndham Resort Hotel before and knew I probably would not be able to check in because check out was at eleven. I checked at the desk and was told that check in was at 3 pm (which I already knew). We checked our luggage and left to explore Yokohama more. We came back at around 1:45 hoping that our room may have been ready. Again the clerk said that check in was 3 pm. Meanwhile, the lobby began to fill up with people waiting to check in. I felt like that the desk clerks were determined to wait until 3 pm which makes no sense. When I managed at the desk at the Wyndham, we would check people in at 9 am if the room was ready. I basically stood up to get "in line" because I didn't want to wait behind the crowd in the lobby. The clerk kept insisting that I sit down to wait which I did not want to do. Right before 2:45 people were waiting and grumbling. The desk was left with a long line of people. I know how housekeeping and the front desk works. A room is cleaned, a supervisor checks it, and it is released into the inventory. I am not sure why so many guests were sitting waiting.
