Going the extra mile

This was a nice, fresh, new hotel in Sofia, close to the main sights and with all the amenities travellers need. We had a hiccup with laundry, but the hotel went out of their way to apologize and make amends. That goes a long way. Everyone was very helpful. I would recommend this as the place to stay in Sofia.

I was very sick when I was check in and didn’t stay in the hotel. People was great and I was very sick to stay and I was in the hospital

Easy to walk to the eating place

The staff does not know how to provide service, this includes at check-in and check-out, and in the dining room, poor service, the clerk at the reception made a mistake and charged us more and did not know how to credit us

They were unable to check me in on Expedia. I ended up getting a new reservation at a higher rate.

New and nice hotel

This hotel is new and central, with excellent service and breakfast. It was unfortunate that on the evening we arrived there was a private function in the hotel with a lot of armed security all over, which was somewhat concerning. Parking was to me somewhat unconventional, but fine, once we got past the armed service men.

The hotel was modern and fabulous! The staff were beyond helpful, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. We would love to return!

Amazing experience ❣️ Everything in this hotel was fabulous. The staff genuinely cared. Especially the front office. Our check-in was smooth. Modern comfortable room. Amazing amenities. They pay attention to minute details. Very clean hotel. Convenient location. I highly recommend it 👌

Fantastic hotel with great location

Lovely base for exploring Sofia. Centrally located and close to the metro from the airport. Hotel had nice restaurant, great gym and a relaxing spa which was perfect after a day of exploring.

The hotel is very bad, the rooms are all uncomfortable, the decoration is 3, the service is 3, this hotel is most likely 3 stars. Therefore, I do not recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit it. don't waste your money.

Except the noise of air conditioning/ heater in the room , everything else was top notch!

The overall hotel layout was nice. Lots to do in the area. The hotel room was nice and upscale, but the shower drain was nearly nonexistent and water went everywhere even after a short shower.

Great hotel in the centre of Sofia

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency in Sofia. The hotel is well maintained, clean and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The spa is also lovely. We will be back.

Great hotel and location.

Great location and overall service. The staff is friendly and professional. The car park is located under the hotel with plenty of parking spaces with electric chargers if required. There is a rooftop bar which is great too. We recommend the hotel and will book for our next visit in Sofia.

Very nice hotel ! Great customer service! The girl in the reception when we checked in was super sweet and helpful! Sorry I forgot her name :(. The property was clean and inviting! We did enjoy the spa facility and treatments . Only problem we had was at the rooftop bar with the hosts girl that night . She found tables for everyone else except us . After I questioned her and complained about it she was able to accommodate us as well . I didn’t like the feeling of pick and choose at that bar . Every time we come to Sofia we definitely stay in this hotel because we have a nice service and great experience . We hope that doesn’t change in the future.

Enjoyable stay

Overall a lovely hotel in the centre of Sofia and close to the attractions. The spa was fantastic with great facilities and treatments, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing there for the afternoon. The only disappointment was the roof bar which although was quiet when we visited, we were told all tables were reserved.

OK hotel

New hotels, good location IMHO. Checkin was slow, even if there are 3-4 desks staffed - the people working seem to be more engaged on the phone that checking people in, no one to help with luggage - thus I asked to leave the car in front and help baby and wife get to the room. The response was that "I can only if very quick", maybe "hey customer let me get someone to help with the two bags for your family" would have been better. There were some issues with the room, but like I said the hotel is new so maybe still training staff. Late check-in (one hour) is charged at half the daily rate, with no flexibility at all from reception.

good value for money central location

first time in this hotel , i am visiting Sofia frequentely . overall good hotel with good location . room size great and emeneties good aswell . house keeping services missing touch , lack of soaps for couple , not laways refilling whats needed, cleaning room not 100% . breakfast was overall very good only problem when you have one chef preparing eggs per all guests request took 30 minutes to get omlette ! plus my wife asked boiled eggs and after 20 minutes she got soft eggs ! gym was fantastic very well equiped bed and huge TV set were great parking on site was 20 leva which is fair front desk usually one person and have to wait service litle bit slow spa very nice oveall good hotel but for 5 stars would expect more on issues i mentioned

Really nice restaurant on site and great gym. Not much around the property in terms of walking distance.

My room wasn't properly cleaned, I had forks, spoons and even someone's dirty sock on a shelf. I think their breakfast is way too expensive at $27 or so. The room service comes at 17:00ish, and if you're busy in the room at that time, you get no room cleaning.The pool is tiny, room-sized. The roofbar view is nice, good sauna and hamam. The location is superb of course. Overall, I didn't find the anticipated 5* Hayatt amenities and service, esp room cleaning.
