There should be a continental breakfast, but other than that, it was good.

Before I get into the hotel review, I want to preface by saying all of the staff were amazing and super nice, they were as accommodating as I'm sure the company itself would allow and I appreciate them for that massively!!! I'll start with the pros: - (I was on the 18th floor) In my opinion, anything 16th floor and above is absolutely perfect, great height for any view in that aspect. - Bathroom was nice, I loved the flat floor for the shower, it was mostly clean (will mention later) and felt amazing, definitely some of the best showers I have had. -The room was comfortable; it was amazing to have climate control for my room and as far as amenities, I was satisfied with what was provided considering this was a solo trip. -Rooftop var

Disappointed experience

Disappointed experience for a Hyatt property. Room was dirty, no top sheet on the bed and a rattle noise all night long.

My reservation was somehow doubled booked and I was charged an additional $209. As a no show for 1 of the rooms . I am unaware how this double booking occurred but I would like a refund for the “no show” charge

This is the second time staying at this hotel. It is a great location and the restaurant and rooftop bar were great!!

Lobby staff were pleasant. Checking In was a breeze. The room was spacious and bright upon entry. Very nice size room. Beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room on the bathroom. We went to the bar to order a drink and a light meal before heading out. Bar staff were very friendly, definitely made us feel at home. Only complaint was thw housekeeper knocking on the door at 0900 to see if the room was empty which woke us up. Checkout was a breeze and again staff was excellent.

I had a really lovely weekend stay at the Hyatt Centric -- the room felt modern, like it was brand-new, and everything was well designed and comfortable. Front desk staff were amazingly helpful and kind. A smooth, no-hassle stay!

Excellent stay

We had a quick weekend trip. Flew in early and left late. They were very accommodating with holding bags. Staff was friendly and very nice. I will stay here again on my next trip

Location

Exceptionsl beds and bedding. Chalan at the front desk goes out of her way for guest assistance to ensure a positive experience. The facility is well maintained and spotless. The hospitality room on 3rd is perfect for a quick drink or snack.

Loud construction noise in morning. Timings for breakfast at snack bar not noted so I missed it.

Pillows and bed were very nice, rooms are lovely!

Loved everything about our stay. The room toiletries were really nice and the bed was very comfortable. My only wish is that in tge breakfast lounge they had more than fruit. Besides that, 10 out of 10. We ate dinner in the hotel on of the nights we stayed there and it waa fabulous..

The room was alright but our toilet was not clean. Also, there was no microwave in our room. After a night of fun need to warm up leftovers and couldn't.

Terrible bed, hard as a rock. Had to wait over an hour for my vehicle to be picked up. The towels had holes in them and they also do not provide that many at a time. The Lounge area on the third floor with a microwave and coffee machine is nice. However, is an inconvenience for those not on the third floor. It would be nice to at least have a microwave in the room.

Came with my husband for the first time for A weekend getaway! Very clean, nice, quiet, view was nice even though we didn’t get the room with the view! Didn’t go to the restaurant but it looked good lol staff was very helpful And inventive. Close to shopping, restaurants, 4 Starbucks!! We had a great time! We will definitely stay again

Rooms were nice and comfortable. On the street side so some noise, sirens, garbage trucks, etc.

Staff Kept opening door while inside the room.

This was my first time in Chicago and we were very happy that we chose this hotel. It is close to a subway station within walkable distance from everything (target, shops, food) and brand new. PLUS it had a coffee station 24/7 free it is absolutely great!

Very clean and staff was excellent

The hotel was great, easily accessible to Orchestra Hall and nice dining options. I like the hotel bar and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The fact that all attractions were within walking distance made my stay enjoyable. The only thing I did not like was the lack of parking. Therefore I used Vallet which was very expensive.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself. The hotel went above and beyond to accommodate my late check in. I am so grateful to Caroline for her help. This hotel was situated in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk to the Amtrak train station. Walked to everything including the nearby Art Institute. Lots of food places around. Very convenient location

Room facing construction site so it’s very noisy starting at 8am. Also, there are college students making noises in the same floor late at night.

Great place to stay

Valet was easy, but was pricey. You could hear your neighbors through the walls and the HVAC system was loud and woke you up every few minutes. If you stay on the front of the hotel you will hear the bush sounds of the city all night. For example, sirens, cars, noisy people. Gym was nice, has a few treadmills, elliptical, Peloton, and a full weight rack. The restaurant is very nice. Staff were friendly!

We had a great experience! The staff were so kind and accommodating. Room was clean, very spacious and close to a lot of places we were going to visit! Only thing I’d say was parking is very expensive and hard to find in the area.

Very very clean!

My room had holes in the wall, the water got stopped up every time, it was crazy. I had a horrible view this was for my birthday I was very unpleased. I heard the neighbors all night and it just was not an enjoyable stay. The pros: the restaurant below had good food that’s about it. I wish I could have enjoyed my stay more.

Parking scam

Very nice and clean hotel, with a great location! Staff was friendly and greeting. The biggest downside, do not purchase parking online from an outside vendor i.e. park hero etc. The hotel will charge a parking fee at check-in. We made a mistake of doing this and was charged double for parking and the hotel never reimbursed us!

Our stay was wonderful! The room was huge, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and my favorite was how nice the staff was. Thank you!

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful Room was clean, but there were no drawers to put things in. No one came to clean on first day ,and had to call twice second day to get house cleaning. View was good.

Very good hotel, centrally located

Had a lovely stay at the Hyatt Centric Chicago Loop. It was conveniently located close to a CTA station, and Sebastian at the front desk made check in an absolute breeze. The service was excellent and all of my needs were met quickly. The only downsides were the walls of my room were covered in black scuff marks, and the restaurant downstairs wasn’t very good. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to others looking to stay in the area. Thanks again to Sebastian for making my stay a memorable weekend getaway.

Missing granola bars

Great location downtown. Well appointed. Good restaurant on site. Friendly staff. Nice to have a self-device refreshment room, “The Corner”, with tea and coffee. Though the promised granola bars were nowhere to be seen on Saturday and Sunday.

Customer service was amazing . Nice and clean

The loop location was very convenient to theatres, shopping, restaurants and train hubs. My room was surprisingly large whereas my friend's room was the typical size you'd expect. The staff all were very friendly and the hotel was clean/up to date.

Beds were uncomfortable and rooms were small the did not have double beds for my friend and I

Upon getting there, valet services had one member so when we called for the car it would take 30 minutes or longer also we asked for towels multiple times and had to go downstairs to get it finally after 5 tries. Stayed two nights and the tv didn’t even work. Upgraded to move in early for more money just to have these problems

Staff was very attentive! A wonderful stay overall

The room was cold. I had to ask for maintenance who took to long to respond. The room temperature improved slightly.
