Very nice property within walking distance of almost everything.

A great base.

The hotel is more dated than it looks in the photo's but overall it was OK. Great location and easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and bars but without being in the middle of the noisy areas.

Great location rooms were excellent and the staff service was top notch.

Nice property location. Not overly crowded. A few days the pool area could have used more wait staff. 1 person couldnt keep up

The hotel is fantastic. The outdoor area, especially at the water, is amazing. The pool area is great and the room was newish with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. I would stay there again. We were able to walk to everything.

Over priced outdated hotel

Elevator was being repaired most of the time. Spa is small, not managed well. Long wait for response to phone calls/emails. Did not have our appt for massage. Coffee maker in room hasn’t been cleaned.

Very convent spot

Had a wonderful, quick weekend getaway with our favorite staff at Hyatt Centric Key West. All was great and food was better than before due to rebranding of hotel restaurant to Four Flamingos. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay. Absolutely love everything about it. Fantastic staff, beautiful room, very clean, and overall the best! Before I forget, what brand of mattress do you use? It was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in

Disappointed.

What a disappointment! This hotel’s location is great, close to many attractions but we expected more from Hyatt. The whole building we stayed in needs a renovation, room is shabby and some things are falling apart and look very old. Paid over $1,000 for 2 nights with parking and resort fees and the stay did not feel like a resort at all. Would not recommend.

Amazing experience, friendly staff, close to everything

The hotel is in an amazing spot, with tons of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. It’s conveniently located just a block from the famous Duval Street, making it easy to explore all that Key West has to offer. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a prime location!

Not given arrival drink, reusable water cans not told are refillable and only 2 in room booked for 3. Later told water stations in every bldg, who goes to other bldgs other than the one staying at. Room described as 2 Queen partial Ocean view (which we stayed in once before) has 460 sqft but the one they gave us in an opposite building had only 2?0 sqft must have been a converted king room with the beds swapped out. Never the less, it was way smaller than the 460sqft one we stayed in there years earlier. Bathroom was half the size and main room was cramped. With 3 adults it was a tight fit and a large disappointment. Manager said it was a 2Queen Bd Partial Ocean view room? and no others were available…we arrived @11:30. No compension was given. If you're looking for a hotel with a sunny pool or a beach this is NOT the place. Hotel shadows the pool all day and it's extremely small. Hotel rooms were average.

We love the Hyatt...... great stay, close to everything, clean and highly managed

Our Oceanview Suite was incredible. Sarah and Agnes the prime bartenders were top notch. Breakfast was not cheap, but it kept us full the entire 1st half of the day. Amenities were on site and everything else was a short walk away. Only negative — In room coffee was not very good, but was always stocked (started going to Coffee Bar in Morning). Excellent gym for those that want a full option workout too. If you can stay in KW, this is the place to go!

We spent a weekend in Key West and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean and updated. The location is perfect! We will be back.

Late fall getaway to Key West

The Hyatt is ideally located in Key West. Mallory Square, the harbor, and Duval Street are all within a comfortable walking distance. The facilities are well maintained and there is ample seating in the pool and harbor beach area. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Food and drinks were expensive but so is everything in Key West!! Will definitely consider staying here on my next trip to Key West.

Oddly quite like!

Slightly tired hotel but in a convenient location. Lift kept breaking down. AC difficult to control. Small pool and beach areas good for watching sunsets. Charge for daily parking ($25). Good laundry service and friendly staff.

Stayed there 35 years ago! Great to reminisce!

Rooms are poorly decorated. No carpet or rug. Cold hard floors that get wet from humidity and slippery. Air conditioning wouldn’t regulate properly so it got ice cold at night. Pool lounge chairs are uncomfortable and the pool area is not inviting. Service was poor at the pool. Bartenders were very good and friendly. The overall hotel felt cheap to me. Sorry but you asked.

This is one of the best Hyatt properties I’ve ever stayed at.

It was a decent place to stay, I would recommend it!

This was my 2nd time staying at the Hyatt and I was very happy with my vacation here. Everyone I came in contact with from the front desk, service and bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had a partial ocean view room that overlooked the pier and public beach. Our room was clean and spacious with a big screen tv and mini fridge. My only complaint was that the safe was in a closet with no interior or hall light, it was impossible to see the keypad without using my phone light. It can also get loud outside with the public beach bar next-door but the room is pretty sound proof with the patio door closed. Some areas outside could use a little work, but all in all a great place to stay

The staff was great, Arsenii especially was super friendly and made sure our stay here was perfect. We had an ocean view room that we could watch the sunset from. The pool and beach area were nice and clean. I would recommend this hotel

Our go to resort when visiting Key West Staff is friendly and the hotel is in old town near shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

We had a great experience at the Hyatt. Nothing to complain about. Great room, great view of the gulf, pool area was very good. The staff was outstanding. Walking distance to all locations. Highly recommended. Will plan another vacation to key west and stay at the Hyatt.

Bath rooms are not senior friendly. Toilet is too low and the step over the tub into the shower is way too high.

This was a great location and seemed to be on the quieter side of the keys.

We had A great stay and the staff were very accommodating. They even gave us A complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary.

This was our first time in KW and the property was stunning. Food, staff, amenities, there is not one thing I can ask them to improve on at this time. We are excited for to come back in the future and will be staying at the Hyatt Centric again!

If I could leave more than a 5 star review I would. We love this place! Second time staying here and doubt we would stay anywhere else.

Great hotel, great location and great service

Absolutely beautiful on the water perfect location

The resort was lovely and the staff were very courteous. We enjoyed the complimentary bevi stations around the property which included hot, cold, sparkling and flavored water. The resort fee and restaurant was a little expensive, but worth it. There is no beach. To get in the ocean you have to climb over rocks.

AC noise in room is way too loud. I recommend to provide guests with earplugs.

We upgraded our room and it was worth it. Ocean veiw over the pool. 3rd floor. Breakfast was great and the staff was awesome. We will be back.

Great hotel!

Everything was top notch here. Check in was a breeze, they escorted you to your room, and helped with luggage. Pool and lounge/bar area were clean and neat. Room was larger than expected and well cleaned and maintained. We will definitely stay here again

We had a great stay. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bar staff was friendly. Convenient location. The gulf provided a great view. It just wasn't accessible without shoes due to the rocks.

Property is very clean but beds definitely need new mattresses! So uncomfortable. Made the nights/days not very restful. Caught up on rest in loungers by the private beach.

Location, Location, did I mention Location. A block from Duval St, beautiful water views, nice pool, excellent staff.

Great hotel with very comfortable rooms located near resturants and downtown. My only suggested improvement would be for a coffee option other than in room kcups.

Never will stay again. $600 in fees for 3 days. Really? Used to love it here but the fees…nope.

Great location and the service was excellent

This was our second time staying at this hotel and again we were absolutely amazed by our experience. The staff is always nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable for our stay. It didn’t hurt to have that beautiful ocean view. The location is right on the water and walkable to Duval St which has lots of shops and restaurants.

Great place to stay in the keys. Wonderful area and accessible to everything. A microwave in the room would have been nice, but not a deal breaker.

A little on the pricey side and resort fees are pretty high but can't beat location. Large rooms with balconies, plenty of counter space in the bathroom. beds are comfy. loved the reusable water bottles and plenty of refilling areas. wish the pool was a little bigger. would stay here again.

Love this place and they know it. I’ve been here at least 6-8 times in the last 2 years. They constantly give me a room where there is a homeless encampment, daily arrests and no apologies at all. If you like the Dave Chappell show… you’ll love it here. You think they would at least reward loyalty. Stay away

The Hyatt Centric Key West is a great place to stay, most of all due to its location. The staff were accommodating and housekeeping was top notch. The bar area is under repair but they do have a temporary bar setup which is limited. Was told a couple weeks before repairs are finished. Rooms were nice and pool area, while small but standard for Key West, was a great place to beat the July heat. Only complaint was that guest were smoking around the pool area, off balconies, and on the small beach area. It was hard to avoid at time. As someone who has severe allergies, I try to avoid second hand smoke. As a result, for our next visit we will probably consider other accommodations. This is our 4th visit to the Hyatt and we always enjoy the great views. If the smell of smoke isn’t an issue for you, I would highly recommend the Hyatt.

Great hotel for a long weekend

Wonderful staff and very clean rooms. Great views and convenient to many wonder restaurants, dock, and shopping.

The staff were very sweet & respectful. Got Welcome drinks once we arrived & they were amazing! It was our first time in Key West & this place hit the spot. Nice ocean front view with a beautiful room! Swimming pool was relaxing as well as the hot tub. The strawberry Daquiri from the outside bar? 10/10!

The first day we got there the front desk crew was terrific. Did not see them the rest of the week. Front desk would not the best. Asked a question and one lady barely look up to answer. Not helpful at all. The pool/bar crew were awesome! Very friendly!

Came here for our anniversary and the staff were exceptional. It’s convenient to restaurants and shopping. Restaurants are pricey but that’s the hotel biz. If you want to sit on the tiny beach (accommodations up to 10 ppl) arrive early to get the umbrella and chairs. Otherwise the beach next door is free but umbrella and chairs is not. The swings on the pier to watch the sunset was breathtaking.
