Clean updated and friendly stay. Beautiful views, and great breakfast selection

We stayed for 3 for our 25th wedding anniversary. It is in a good location at the end of the promenade, the hotel itself is clean and the staff helpful. The only small issues were, getting a lounger in the pool area is tricky, and the airconditioning unit in our room could not cope with the heatwave and could not get below 25 degrees, however the staff provided a large fan the following day, which helped cool things down to 22 degrees.

This hotel is in the perfect location. At the end of the Makarska boardwalk and is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. There is also a long walking trail that begins behind the hotel that has magical views of the Adriatic. The hotel is newly renovated and our room was beautiful. We didnt get the chance to take advantage of the pool but lots of people seemed to enjoy it. The view from the hotel is beautiful day and night. The reception staff were very pleasant to deal with when we had an issue. They accommodated us quickly. The breakfast was good but we almost always find options we like when it's buffet style. Bring water shoes!! The beach is just beside the hotel and its pebbles, not sand. If you dont have those shoes, they sell them near the hotel for approx 12 euros.

We stayed here on a whim as we were passing through and so glad we chose this hotel. It seems to have been recently renovated and the room was clean and modern, and the bathroom was lovely. Opted for a sea view room and really glad we did, the view was beautiful.

Great hotel on the harbour

A beautiful hotel in a lovely spot on the bay/harbour. We had a room facing the bay with lots to watch. It did make for some noise though with restaurants staying open late. The quieter rooms are looking over the pool at the back of the hotel but we liked having lots to watch from our room. Hotel has about 6 free parking spots but the lot in front had many spaces available for 10 euro/day.

There was nothing about this hotel which I didn't like.It was modern, clean and minimalistic, Great position overlooking the busy harbour . We were lucky enough to be given an upgrade . Our room on the fourth floor overlooked it. We didnt eat there in the evening but the breakfast was plentiful and covered every taste

What a beautiful hotel!! Wonderful facilities and lovely and clean The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Makarska. We had a sea view room that looked across the marina and the Biokova mountain. The included breakfast was a nice bonus and a great way to start the day. It was also an easy walk downhill from the bus station.

Excellent hotel

Friendly helpful staff, excellent location with fabulous views. Rooms are very well maintained, clean and modern with very good facilities.

Excellent Hotel in a great location with good view

The Osejava is close to a small beach in an excellent location with lovely views of the sea and mountains. The rooms are very nicely decorated, clean and some with decent sized balconies. The hotel reception staff members are all really helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are really good , with really excellent fruit! The nearby beach is quite small and very crowded in August but better than the larger public beach. The swimming is pretty decent here. All in all good value and a good experience.

Beautiful and luxurious hotel. Near beach and shopping. Everything at your fingertips. Restaurants, Cafes within walking distance. A must to book when your in Makarska.

Perfect setting with a great view

One night only, but wish it was longer. The hotel was amazing and the view from the room (313) was special. Would highly recommend to friends.

my partner and I spent one night then returned again for another while travelling around Croatia. parking outside, staff very friendly, check in quick. fantastic rooms both time. great hotel fantastic views of harbour. spotless clean. comfy beds. great location. excellent hotel, have already recommended to friends and family. will return.

Decent hotel in Makarska

Nice view to the sea. Clean and comfy hotel. Included breakfast was very good. It could get slightly noisy at night as there is a night club (probably outdoors?) near by.

NIce hotel in Makarska

We had a great stay at Hotel Osejava. We booked a sea view room and certainly got that, an end of corridor room with double aspect sea views. This did mean we were located right above the restuarant / club but the noise wasn't bad enough to stop you sleeping. The reception staff were not very friendly. At check in there was no 'Welcome' type greeting, reccomendation of places to see / go / eat. Just thank you and your room is on the second floor, lift is over there. It was much the same at check out, just settling the bill and handing back the key. The one good thing they did was offer us new beach towels even after we had checked out because we wanted to use the pool until early afternoon as we had an evening flight. The room was lovely, nice and spacious, modern (a little too modern with the light switch / air con panels!).

Great hotel, the rooms are very nicely renovated and look even better in person. Very quiet as further away from the big crowds but near enough to walk everwhere. The restaurant is great with friendly staff. The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and helpfully, I highly recommend this hotel.

Best location in Makarska !

Great hotel location on the sea in centre of old town overlooking the bay. very peaceful and relaxing, breakfast fantastic choice, very fresh local produce, cheeses, jams, meats, breads, teas, cereals, fruits and much much more. Light airy imaginative design in boat house style, interior of fresh colours all blending nicely with large pictures of a nautical theme in the rooms, spacious bathrooms with bath showers and bidet, glass doors in bathroom so not much privacy in the loo! Beds and pillows comfy. Balconies at back a good size but offer no privacy as they almost face on to each other so everyone is peering at you. Also they are close to the pool so all very exposed. rooms at front of hotel have fabulous views but their balconies at Juliet style so no room to sit. Nice clean pool, quite small though next to a small beach so great. NO SHOWERS at pool so that was very surprising! Good beauty parlour, Parking good, its safe and close to hotel entrance. All areas of the hotel are spotless. It also smells really lovely when you walk in! Staff are all very courteous and helpful. Sometimes there was a shortage of people on reception, this is was not the fault of the staff but rather there appeared to be insufficent people on duty. Perhaps they could increase the pool and sun area and reduce the outdoor dining areas which were very large, Lifts are frequent and spotless. No noise or disturbances. I would certainly recommend this hotel!

3 Star Hotel Dressed Up as a 4 Star

I am unable to enter enough characters to review this hotel properly. I wouldn't stay there again. Noise from construction work was unbearable and we were not made aware of this before booking. Pool was empty, couldn't use till day 3. Spa was open on day 4. Restaurant is very basic - dinner is, breakfast is poor. Desk staff are brilliant - hotel is modern and clean. This is a 3-Star hotel in my opinion.

Great Stay

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the rooms were lovely - we had a sea view and it was stunning and to be honest made our stay even better. We liked the restaurant as well - which was on the sea front and was well priced. If we come back to the area we will stay again.

Fabulous, stayed 2 nights during our tour and loved everything about this hotel, I will stay here again when I return to Croatia, I can't think of a single negative about the place.

Beautifully modern hotel!

We stayed for 5 days/nights and loved the hotel. Very modern, clean, and helpful staff. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if there had been wireless in the rooms (the only wireless available was in the common areas of the hotel). Other than that, a wonderful stay!

Great hotel!

Det var det skønneste ophold, det sødeste personale og smukke omgivelser. Vi nød det som familie på tur, hvor der var pool til vores lille dreng, og vi havde en skøn altan. Alt i alt bare en skøn skøn ferie, i meget Corona trygge rammer - Tak til Hotel Osejava, for at være så dygtige.

Neu und originell eingerichtet. Sehr sauber. Isolation schlecht (Nachbarzimmer, Treppenhaus, va Dröhnende Musik von den Partyschiffen draußen). Das Hotel samt seinen Preisen will den Eindruck erwecken, es wäre eine Wohlfühloase für Erwachsene mit Geld. Es ist leider weit davon entfernt, Zuviele „Details“ stimmen nicht (Bsp wenig Personal, das gestresst wirkt, zT unfreundlich reagiert und Fehler um Fehler macht). Für das schlimmste kann das Hotel selber nicht nichts.. es liegt direkt neben dem größten Club der Stadt, inkl dröhnenden Bässen und pöbelnden Halbstarken, und zwar bis morgens um 5.Traurige Zusammenfassung: wer nicht in die letztere Kategorie gehört sollte einen weiten Bogen um die Stadt machen..., da kann das Hotel noch so toll eingerichtet sein, das ist halt leider insgesamt den Preis (und die Nerven) nicht wert.

Fantastisk Hotel med den bedste billigenhed, da vi kom blev vi opgraderet til Suiten, stort værelse med en balkon , hvor der var direkte hav udsigt Vi vil helt sikkert vende tilbage

Bekvämt alternativ i Makarska nära allt!

Ett bra hotell i bästa läge med närhet till hamnen och restauranger. Hotellet hade både pool och närhet till en liten strand bortom alla badbollar o dyl. Ett berg/skog bakom hotellet, utmärkt för jogging eller promenader.

전망 좋고 넓은 객실. 청결은 꽝 ㅜㅜ

크로아티아 여행에서 제일 비싼 호텔이었고 전망이 좋다 해서 기대를 많이 했는데 들어가자 마자 너무 놀랐습니다.. 호텔 욕조에 머리털이며 ..그전에 묵은 사람이 아시아 인이구나 ㅋㅋ알수 있게 해줬네요 너무 피곤해서 아래로 내려가서 따지지 못했어요.. 호텔 자체는 좋고 전망도 좋은데 조명도 어둡고..좀 오래된 스타일의 인테리어 여서 좀 실망했습니다 욕조의 털이 좀 충격이었네요..

Svårslaget

Mycket fint och lugnt hotell. Valde rum med utsikt över hamnen och de fantastiska bergen, svårslaget. Frukosten va bra även den. Om du ska äta middag finns det bättre ställen att välja på.

Hotel med fantastisk udsigt

Et som det føles nyrenoveret hotel, hvor alt var tip-top. Vi boede på et værelse hvor der var en fantastisk udsigt ind mod by og vand. Kan kun finde et minus med dette hotel og det er hotellet ikke skyld i. Der var en del larm indefra byen og de både der lå til kaj.
