All members of staff were friendly and very helpful. The property is extremely clean. The breakfast room and the dinning room were exceptional. I would not hesitate recommend anyone to stay there.

The reservation was in error using the HORRIBLE Hotels.com phone APP. Two hotels got booked each for two rooms at the same time in two different cities. Screw hotels.com

It would have been helpful if the parking arrangements were clearer on booking . We had a very frustrating drive around trying to park . Which was some considerable distance away . Once checked in we had access to the Hôtel underground parking .

Comfortable place to stay

Our stay was just fine. Check-in was easy. The room was comfortable, though the temperature was difficult to regulate. We would have liked to have a hot pot in the room for tea and a place to get just a cup of coffee in the morning, since we do not usually eat a large breakfast. We did have trouble finding someone at the front desk in the evening, but eventually they came out to help us. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was very good.

Good price

Great Hotel in Castellon. Staff were amazing and accommodating. Room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Walkable cafes, restaurants, bakeries, parks, church, shopping all around the hotel. A must stay if you find yourself in Castellon.

Very professional and friendly staff, but the small uncomfortable room and high pricing left us feeling disappointed and somewhat ripped off and unfortunately this is all I know remember about our short stop in this town.

City centre hotel. Nice public areas, room comfortable but dated. Also, very noisy from adjacent rooms.

Service Level

Customer service was appalling. Attitude to simple requests such as basic level requirements was not addressed properly and the staff showed no concern for their guest's relative comfort level. Ask do you have a charger for an iPhone ' no' - Is the bar closed 'si'. No emotional awareness - What It Is and Why You Need It! flabbergasted I was.

Good stay

Easy to find using Google maps. €12 on site parking. Huge bathroom. Very worth its price. Note that on Sundays the entire city is like a dead town with almost all the shops closed.

Everything works fine. It's a reasonable choice. The room is a bit tight, but we'll organized. Reasonably quiet. Good location. Bathroom is a decent size, but shower is oddly narrow.

Excellent city centre hotel, beautifullly clean and well presented. Good surrounding restaurants and a resywithin the hotel that looked very nice however we did not eat there. Breakfast was very good.

Nice hotel close to bars and restaurants.

Hotel about 20 minutes walk from train station which takes you to Valencia, Peniscola and further afield. About 10 mins walk from bars and restaurants. We had a second floor room facing a side wall of another building so was very quiet. Didnt have breakfast or dinner so cant comment. Staff spoke english. You need to pay a refundable €20 deposit for the key for the room safe.

The hotel is in town, parking was 11euros and very difficult to park underground if you have a big car. The place was older and the worst thing was the breakfast, the fruit was over ripe and should not of been placed out for clients. Not worth it unless otherwise desperate for food.

Pleasant and comfortable modern hotel with spacious triple room. Situated close to the centre of town and not too far from the train station.

Basic, clean, unexpensive

Stayed one night in Castellon at Jaime I. OK for the price. No working fridge and AC useless. Bar / restaurant in the hotel. Free parking on the streets on Sundays and between 8pm and 9am.

Hotel is in a very nice location and has secured parking. The staff are both cheerful and helpful. Great shops and places to eat within walking distance. Rooms rates are economically and reasonably priced.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights. The room was nice and spacious with a seperate sitting room. Everything was kept clean throughout hotel and I would stay here again. One negative point was there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the bed room

En-route to Marbella with our miniature schnauzer, so neede to be dog friendly. Car parking very tight spaces in the underground garage. Nice and close to the shops & restaurants, very convenient.

C’est la deuxième fois que nous venons dans cet hôtel. La gentillesse de l’accueil, la propreté de la chambre et un petit déjeuner très correct. Parking avec accès direct dans les étages.

Ni por asomó da un servicio de un hotel de 4 estrellas, muy antiguo, ni siquiera hay pasta de dientes y a las 23,00 nadie en recepción. Por el contrario los trabajadores muy amables y el hotel limpio.

A pesar de estar en el centro de la ciudad el entorno está muy sucio, contenedores llenos, no limpian las calles bien, muchas suciedad debajo y por fuera de los coches estacionados.

Worst check in experience ever.

Can’t really judge a hotel if one can’t check-in in the first place. Needed more than one hour to do so. Reception is usually not attended which makes this very difficult.

Las habitaciones son amplias y sobre todo muy limpias, algo que valoro mucho. El desayuno exquisito, variedad y todo buenísimo. Muy céntrico a 5 min. de todo. El único punto negativo es que me parece excesivo el precio del parking ya que son 15 euros por noche.

La habitación muy amplia y confortable, y el personal muy atento en todo

No había personal en recepción durante todo el día, ni cafetería, ni posibilidad de tomar ni un vaso de agua, ni un sitio (silla con mesa) para poder reunirse con nadie y trabajar,.... Desolador. Y nadie nos avisó antes de hacer la reserva.

Tres bien, Chambre agréable, hôtel bien situé. Possibilité de Parkind accecible directement à l'hôtel. La réception et le petit déjeuner ont eu lieu dans un autre hôtel du même groupe situé à 100 mètres ce qui n'a pas été genant.

L'hotel Jaime I a Castellón si presenta bene da fuori. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un totem per fare il check in che non si è rivelato molto comodo in quanto il numero di prenotazione che avevamo noi (tramite Expedia) non veniva ritenuto valido. Ottimo avere un parcheggio coperto con accesso diretto alla struttura. La camera era delle giuste dimensioni, con un bel bagno con bidet!! Un po' troppo troppo morbidi i cuscini. Colazione buona con davvero un ottima scelta

Cama supletoria(sofá cama) bastante incómoda, colchón casi inexistente. Muy mejorable. No hubo ningún detalle. Desayuno muy completo.

En tema de tener una categoría Gold y escoger hoteles que te dan mejores beneficios no ha servido de nada Toca estar pidiendo y la primera noche nos dieron una habitación fatal las camas horribles el segundo día la chica de recepción mejor que quien nos recibió la primera noche nos cambió de habitación Los colchones muy flojos

El alojamiento está bien comunicado con el centro de Castellón, el personal es muy agradable y la habitación comfortable. Repetiría sin dudarlo

Buen hotel para pasar unos días en Castellón, si estás de paso como fue nuestro caso. Cogimos la habitación familiar para 4 personas y es muy espaciosa con cama de matrimonio que puede separarse y literas para los niños. 2 tvs, el aire no funciona muy bien y la atención del personal muy buena.
