Best location in the city, close to the centre
VERY GOOD!
Amazing service by the receptionists , very standard room with shower , breakfast was additional but extremely sensibly priced and good value The 2 receptionists 10/10 they were BOTH amazing at late check in and in the morning when out car hire arrangement failed she helped us by calling the numbers we needed. Free Wi-Fi even in rooms so an additional plus ! I’m sorry I forgot the names I think it was elizabeta Will come to stay again !
Hotel Bug is a fine hotel.
Hotel Bug is a very beautiful old-style hotel. From Hotel Bug you can explore Brest and know comfort awaits you there after a day's sightsseing.
No sound isolation. There are noisy neighbors
Very bad
Very bad stay , Too could room and they don’t care, crowded you can not sleep even 1 min , never go back to this hotel and never recommend to anyone
All was excellent I will recommend my friends
Expedia service is too pure this day, I want to place a booking for refund since on 11 june, all effort prove abortive. Pls do more on your customer care, this one youre using is too pure.
This is a wonderful hotel. The location is easy to walk to from the station. Perfect for walking to city and fortress. Totally clean and
Breakfast was rather simple. One night a group of drunken youth was very loud and rambunctious in and outside of the hotel. I called the front desk but no one from the hotel was there to intervene. Needless to say sleeping was impossible. The next morning beer bottles littered the corridor.
Good and clean hotel, the staff was helpful. My request for room with the air conditioner was accommodated without any hesitation. If you allergic their is no carpet on the floor in the suite. Good value for the money
Good value for money, but if I were to visit again I'd stay elsewhere. The room was a good size and the en suite was nice. The hotel was undergoing renovations at my time of stay, with it appearing as if they were installing a lift, and although I wasn't disturbed by the noise they did seem to start work early in the mornings. The hotel is historic, although some of the decor can seem a bit tired both in the rooms and in the common areas. Breakfast was adequate (costing ~£4), however, due to the renovations a smaller room is being used which can get busy and result in guests sitting at tables with other guests. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is decent, near to the train/bus station, and a short walk from the centre of the city and fortress.
Nostalgia
The Hotel Bug was absolutely amazing. It's a perfect hotel for anybody who is interested in Soviet history or just feel nostalgic for those times. The lobby has been kept in all its Soviet glory complete with a huge bust of Lenin, but the rooms all have the modern conveniences of today such as flat screen TVs and wi-fi. The receptionist is very kind and friendly. The highlight was the hotel's personal museum to Vladimir Vysotsky, who apparently stayed in the Hotel Bug a couple of times.
A nice hotel in a good location. Currently undergoing renovation but this did not impact upon our stay. Rather it meant that the facilities and the décor of our room was very up to date.
This hotel is currently being renovated, which is badly needs. The room however was already renovated, very clean and comfortable. Make sure not to miss the slightly hidden bust of Lenin at the bottom of the stars
Old Weird Place but ok brief stay
This place is old and worn. Not charming, just old. Efforts have been made to "update" the room and the bathroom was nice. There is no lift so is not good for old or disabled. As in most places in Europe there is no AC. My room was on the side facing the highway which was noisy with the window open. Carpets in the hallways are very old, worn and stained. The staff were very nice and helpful at the desk.
Accessible to station, supermarket Reasonable price Wifi with high speed
War alles sehr gut
