Unfortunately my stay was not a happy one. The breakfast was a complete joke, the service was appalling and I was woken up at 11:30pm by two members of staff demanding I settle my bill the night before I was due to leave. I’ve been staying in the hotel for years as I do a track day at Folembray every July, however I’ll never be staying there again and certainly wouldn’t recommend it. The staff seemed to take umbrage at the fact I didn’t want to eat in their restaurant and it went downhill from there. You’ve been warned!

Very friendly hotel, in a very interesting village. Room was clean, recently fitted new shower room, comfortable large bed. Real bonus a wonderful restaurant with an interesting menu, great wines, atmosphere, good value. A lovely garden to have drinks etc. Good value and healthy breakfast, home made jams, fresh fruit, breads, croissants etc. We will definitely be back.

Good value in great location with character.

Excellent dinner for cuisine and service in a delightful castled village which is quiet at night. As it is a small hotel, we found that the reception is not always open, so suggest that you should phone some time before arrival to ensure that there is someone available to give admittance. Courtyard parking available. Rooms a little old-fashioned but modern windows, nice pillows and good value for money.

Never again.

Ordered dinner and first course arrived after 1 hour. Main course then arrived after another hour. Dessert arrived after we complained about time of wait but wrong dessert was given. At this point we gave up totally exasperated. Staff problem was given as reason but they kept on accommodating people for meals. Have used this hotel for 5 years when travelling back from the south but will never return.

A true little gem!

A beautiful village, great hotel, fabulous food and all in the walls of a chateaux. Pretty perfect!

One of my favourite hotels!

Very friendly, very French with great cooking, comfortable bed and excellent showers. As well as unique and lovely surroundings. Very good value and highly recommended.

A decent hotel. The hotel is slightly dated with little comforts in the room, but this is all offset by cleanliness and a warm and friendly staff. There are few competitor hotels nearby. The hotel is set in a very quiet and picturesque setting. It is in a small town which itself is within the boundaries of a medieval castle that the Germans used in WW1. If you want a quiet getaway with not much in the way of restaurants and bars but a lots of history and beautiful countryside views, then try Hotel Belle vue

Great value one night stopover.

We just wanted a stopover not too far after the chunnel crossing. This came up and was a great little find in picturesque village (inside the castle walls on top of the hill). At the price I didn't expect 5* accommodation - its simple friendly, great restaurant and a in a nice location. I would happily stay here again.

Genuinely French Feel

Hotel is in a small historical village with a lovely French atmosphere. Nothing else in the village but we had a great French meal in the hotel. Really worth visiting the ruined chateau. Hotel perfect to use as a base for a couple of nights in the local area.

Traditional hotel which retains French charm

Lovely if not splendid hotel

Lovely if not splendid hotel at top of hill in midst of historical castle setting. Service e was helpful and kindly. We were two tired cyclists who found this an agreeable pace tasty, even though the hill climb was strenuous at the end of the day. We would come again.

Delightful Escape in the French countryside

Loved the hotel location within the Village of Chateau Coucy. On all walks you see remnants of the extensive fortress that was Coucy. Destroyed by the monarchy, then rebuilt, then destroyed again by war, it was a very interesting visit with many romantic views of the ruins. Our hotel room had wonderful sunset views of the ruins as well. Our room accommodated two adults and two kids in bunk beds. All beds were comfortable. There was a table and chairs which was nice to have. Shower only, but didn't need anything more. There are limited restaurants nearby, and no shops for groceries, so we ate at the Hotel Restaurant many times. The food was exceptional, some regional cuisine and salads for my vegetarian daughter. We don't speak much French, and the staff knew only limited English, but we were able to use Wi-Fi to figure out some dishes and had a few delicious surprises as well. Overall a nice respite from our previous days in Paris!

quiet hotel centre village

good French restaurant in hotel, village with few facilities but tourist information very helpful. Do not recommend local pizzeria although seems popular with locals

De acuerdo a las expectativas . Un poco caluroso en el día, pero pasamos una buena estadía.

Vraiment un très bon sejour et du personnel excellent et présent au bon moment. Nous sommes reconnaissants pour l'accueil et le professionnalisme de chacun. Une belle chambre très propre et chaleureuse. Un repas excellent. Un bon souvenir à renouveler dès que possible.

Accueil et séjour confortable et une équipe au petit soin et à l'écoute. La qualité de la restauration en ce temps de Covid est au rendez-vous avec une revue de menue chaque semaine (idéal pour les longs sejours d'affaires)👌. Le lieu est calme sans bruit de circulation. Je recommande cet établissement.

Te kleine kamer en badkamer, vooral doucheruimte erg nipt, slechte afloop van het water. Vriendelijkheid sommige personeel kan beter, waren erg nerveus omdat er veel gasten waren.....?!

De l'amateurisme

Déçus. Pour commencer, nous avons marché dans une crotte dans l'escalier d'entrée de l'hôtel qui n'était pas éclairé. Ensuite nous n'avons pas dormi après 5h30 du matin à cause de l'absence de rideaux occultant. Enfin nous avons payé plus cher que le prix affiché dans les chambres. Nous n'y reviendrons jamais.

Une petite infusion ou café avec bouilloire avoir été là bien venue

Ancienne bâtisse entièrement rénovée par la propriétaire. Literie neuve et confortable. Salle de douche un peu exiguë mais disposant du nécessaire. Accueil chaleureux. Bien situé sur la place de Coucy à proximité du château, parking aisé.

Un hôtel pour un séjour agréable à la campagne

Très bon accueil. À l'arrivée, prise en charge rapide. Bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel souriant et efficace. Hôtel restaurant agréable et au calme avec vue agréable sur le village. Très belle chambre et literie confortable. Très bonne adresse pour y passer un séjour sympathique. Je recommanderai cet hôtel et souhaite y revenir en famille.

Le choix "Soirée Etape" à l'Hôtel Belle Vue avec Repas du soir+Nuitée+Petit-Déjeuner est très bon rapport qualité-prix ! Cadre chaleureux.

Chambre pas bien isolé car on entend la télévision du voisin et la circulation des voitures. Au niveau de la salle de bain, les toilettes sont bruyants et il y a une remontée d'odeur d'égoût.

Bon accueil Sur 3 chambres dommage qu une chambre ait été délogé. Mais tout s est bien passé

bon séjour, chambre correcte et bon repas au restaurant de l'hotel et bon accueil .Seul bémol l'odeur de cuisine (frite)dans les chambres et couloirs.

Accueil chaleureux et cordial. Malheureusement l'état de la chambre (vieillotte, pas très propre, tache sur l'oreiller...) fait que nous ne reviendrons pas à cet hôtel.

Typisch Frans hotel. Nette kamer, heerlijk bed, schone badkamer. Het restaurant is meer dan voortreffelijk. Het hotel ligt in de hoge stad, binnen de ruïnes van de stadsmuren. Deze zijn, net als het chateau, in WO1 grotendeels platgebombardeerd. Fraai uitzicht over de vallei. We komen hier zeker nog eens terug.

Sfeervol klein dorpshotel.

Een sfeervol plaatsje bovenop een berg/heuvel, oud, rustiek, adembenemend. Het hotel ademt sfeer. Vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamer. Diner op het terras voor het hotel, werkelijk heerlijk gegeten. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig, maar voldoende. De omgeving met de kasteelruïne is zo mooi. Als ik dit had geweten, had ik twee nachten geboekt.

Personal muy desagradable. El agua caliente no funcionaba y la solución de la recepcionista fue que esperasemos a ver si salia caliente. Nos cobraron las tasas de un menor de 13 años cuando tenían un cartel que especificaba que los menores no cobraban

beaucoup de randonnées a pied pour voir les cites de la grande guerre.

Il est difficile de donner une appréciation sur une nuit. L' endroit est très beau et il y fait calme cela suffit pour nous.

Très bonne nuit passée malgré l'arnaque de la patronne qui à notre arrivée (en ayant réservé 1 mois à l'avance) ne nous trouve pas de chambre "disponible" au prix réservé donc avons du prendre la "chambre de luxe" qui n'est pas si luxueuse... Un personnel très désagréable à la réception mais très bien accueilli par une femme de ménage et le cuistot.
