Modern and very comfortable
Fully renovated, comfortable beds, clean, mini-fridge, friendly, and excellent location. Short walk to Gran Via metro or Sol for trains from airport. Highly recommend!! There are numerous hostals in this area, but none of them are updated, modern, and as fresh as this one.
Beautiful room, the same as in the picture. The management team were very helpful, friendly and efficient.
Madrid
From the moment we walked in the host was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and the area was perfect. Everything is within walking distance.
Great location, great value
Great clean value and amazing location :-)
Friendly staff, welcome drinks, free WiFi and close to attractions
Good stay.
It was a great place but the front desk man should have taken care of the wifi situation when it went down. He didnt vother to cqll the company to get it up and running. Also the stairs are a bit dangerous as they as slippery. Please hild onto the bannister because I slipped and fell down three stairs. II pulled muscles in my back and neck. Use the escalator instead, maybe. To be safe.
Everything was excellent. Close to the main attractions.
Took a while for the guy to open the door for us when we tried to check in late at night. Drain for the shower was clogged. The area was a little sketchy. Room was big and looked clean though.
Very clean. Renovated room. No dirty was found. Above above average
Beautiful room and clean. Perfect location of the city.
Great hostal. In good location. Would use again when next in Madrid. Clean and comfortable.
Wake yourself up
I paid £330 sterling ( approx 373 euros) for one night- yes you read that correctly- due to the inflated prices for the Champions League final. I realised what kind of place I was in if I asked if they could give me a wake up call, and they said I had to wake myself up, as they do not provide wake up calls. I asked them to call me a taxi, and they looked puzzled, because they said I should have told them in advance. It's a difficult place to find, you don't just go to a reception desk. First you have to press a buzzer, then climb stairs or take the lift, knock on a door, and wait to see someone at reception. When you check in they give you keys, but the one to enter the building is not easy to use, it's challenging to say the least. It took me at least five to ten minutes each time I tried. They say you can just press the buzzer, but there is not always someone there to answer it, because they might be in a different part of the building. They really need to sort the keys out. The room was described from a hotels external website as having a deep soaking bath tub, but they did not have any - all rooms have showers. All I can say that was good was that they did help sometimes, before I arrived they sent me a message giving me information which was a nice touch, but that good first impression was let down when I arrived, and I would never go back. There are better choices
Good clean low budget property. Decent shower and room. They don’t change bedding or provide new towels. They don’t replace coffee or hot drink sachets in the room. The walls are quite thin so you can hear people at reception and moving around the building.
Ideal accommodation for city break.
Great location within walking distance of many landmarks. Very clean and bright rooms with very comfy mattress. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. When back in Madrid we will book Aris again!
Great hostel to stay in for a reasonable price
Our stay was nice. The hotel staff was friendly and helped us to know the area. The room was clean. The one thing that bothered us was the outside noise late night. This is not something the hostel staff can control, but late night people are loud on the street and may affect your sleep. Otherwise great hostel to stay in.
Very clean, tidyand modern. Location is excellent within steps to la Gran Via.
Clean and new, but very thin walls
This is a small hostel and my room didn't have a proper window, but rather a highly placed opening towards a ventilation shaft, as is very common in these types of buildings in Madrid. Everything was very clean and felt quite new, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. But the walls are thin and I could hear everything going on In the reception area and corridor. Every time someone called the door bell to get in, I could hear the bell through the walls into my room. And since there was no threshold, every time someone passed through the corridor a light went on outside, which could be seen into my room underneath the door. So make sure you bring ear buds and mask if you are sensitive to sound and light.

This place is still a little rough around the edges. It was clean but needs a little more attention to make it feel more comfortable
