Best hotel ever!

Could not have been better! Great location. Beautiful hotel. Extra clean. Loved the big, bright White, towels of which there were plenty. Lady at the desk was very helpful. Plenty of parking. Great cleaning service, comfortable beds, great shower, and loved the shampoo, soap and condition!!!!

Staff was great from front desk to kitchen and cleaning. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, laundrette and gym. Breakfast buffet changes daily.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only bad part of the stay was that breakfast was pretty awful. The waffles were good, but that’s as far as it goes. There were no eggs, the turkey sausage was rubbery, and the yogurt Tasted spoiled.

I had a great stay. The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly and nice. My only complaint is that the hallways are too dark.

The only thing that I would personally do differently is put a closing door on the bathroom rather than a sliding door...the gap makes it so you don't feel like you have privacy.

We come to this property every single year in December for the Christmas lights. It is always a 5/5 experience.

PE Conference Trip

The staff here are always friendly and I love the breakfast bar. The rooms were always clean and it is so convenient to the Convention Center!

The hotel location in proximity of the place I was visiting was excellent. The staff that I have encountered were very friendly. The suite Im staying in is spacious enough for one or two people comfortably. I do not like the cleanliness of the bathroom sink or shower floor and the curtain separating the bed from the sitting are has a slight odor.

Very comfortable stay slept like a baby no noise quiet , comfortable bed , food was good ! Highly recommend!

Staff was very friendly. The room was large and fairly comfortable. The bathroom had a sliding door that didn't lock, nor close tight.

Staff was awesome! Brandy at the front desk was so helpful. Room was huge and very clean.

Great hotel. Clean, comfortable, and easy. The island is beautiful. The breakfast foods were tasty, but not as many options as other Home2 Suites I’ve stayed in. That would be my only very small/minor con. Really great hotel and I’d definitely stay here again.

This is just a great place for a vacation. The rooms are spacious, the whole area has things to do---like biking around the island. History and learning, peaceful---can't hink of any negatives:)

Room was large and well appointed. Bathroom could have used a little cleaning. I will stay here again for value.

I mean, it's okay i guess

To be honest it was perfectly acceptable hotel. My one and only issue is the total and complete lack of any water pressure, volume or heat in the shower. You know those miserable kind of gloomy days where the rain just kinda lazily drizzles down on you? That's the shower. Takes about 3 or 4 minutes under lukewarm water just to get your hair wet. You will never, ever get hot water from the shower. Yuck.

We went to see the lights at Jekyll Island. Thr location was excellent. The hotel was welcoming. All were welcome: families young children old people and pets. I think that this made for an experience that more than enhanced the experience of seeing twinkling lights. It was a joyful experience for all

It mostly caters to pets. The halls and rooms reeked of animal urine and wet dogs. The staff needs training in customer service.

We didn't enjoy all the pets walking throughout the hotel, especially during breakfast. Didn't know this hotel was pet friendly also.

Our stay was excellent, we were here to celebrate our granddaughter’s college graduation . Great and excellent place to relax and enjoy the celebration.

Will never stay there

We wasn’t aloud to check in because we didn’t bring a credit card but had cash. After driving 8 and 1/2 hours to get there. Very rude and hateful was not helpful in the least

Clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and good size. Breakfast had a good variety. Close walk to beach. Staff friendly.

This is a great hotel for those on a less than super ritzy budget. The area is very nice around the holidays and there is walkable/bikeable access to dining, shops, and the beach.The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is only 5 minutes away by car.

This property is very clean and comfortable. It's right next door to the Westin and walkable to stores and restaurants. Best sheets ever!

First trip to Jekyll Island

Perfect location for the shrimp and grits festival. Clean comfortable room. Only problem was water took very long to heat up. Towels were thin. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast could be better.

The water from the showerhead was just a trickle, no matter what you set it on. One of the elevators was out of service for the whole week we were there, only left one operational. Other than that. Place was good.

A generally good experience, but my family did not like the sliding bathroom door. The bathroom fan hardly made any noise. While the continental breakfast was free, does every breakfast sandwich have to have cheese?

Our only problem was the shower head/ no pressure in the shower.

Great place to bring a family

The property was great the staff was great we had great time at the hotel it was the booking part that was horrendous but like I said the people at the hotel were very good the best would recommend this facility to anybody

Requested an early check-in the day prior, was told I was good to go. Showed up at the property and the associate was very rude and told me I couldn’t check in early. Very disappointed overall and will never stay at this hotel again.

Enjoyed the R&R.

Not impressed at all. “Kitchen” includes sink and fridge… not a full kitchen. Room was dated, lights didn’t work, dirty linens when we checked in.

Family Jekyll trip

Overall it was OK. Comfortable and clean. They did not have the option to rent chairs and umbrellas from the hotel but did have a card to someone that does rent them. They only had one person at the front desk so if you called and needed something you had to either wait a looooonnnnggg time or go down and pick it up yourself. Breakfast was ust OK not great. They only had a 5 person golfcart to take you where ever you wanted to go so it wasn't good for our family of 7. Whatever you do dont' forget to turn in your towel card when you check out. Otherwise they charge you $50

Very impressed with this hotel. First off, all of the staff are amazing. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is very clean and room was very comfortable. Breakfast has been great. And what a great location! We can walk right out the hotel and walk to so many great spots, including the beach. We definitely picked the right spot to stay.

mediocre breakfast

Chaotic check in

The hotel was not ready at check in time and we were preparing for a sunset wedding so it was ultimate chaos. They told us to go out to pool and they would come get us when our room was ready but they did not. I finally went in there at 5:30 and they told me the room had been ready. Why didn't they tell us like they promised???? The bride was late to her own wedding because of this. There was no shower curtain so we had to call front desk and they didn't answer the first time so we tried again and no answer and 30 minutes later they answered and got us one sent to the room. Everything else in the room was good.

The staff was very friendly and responsive to any need. Overall, the room and property appeared clean. I felt safe. I was disappointed to find considerable mold in the ceiling of the bathroom and around the fixture in the shower/tub. The shower head nozzles were also clogged (calcium buildup), so taking showers was not the greatest experience.

Room is very nice with the exception of right side of bed has a valley in it When I moved to other side much better Front desk and environment staff very friendly

Nice hotel, not a great “beach view”

Room was a really nice size with plenty of amenities. Staff was friendly, pool area was nice and clean, and the breakfast was good. Only part that was disappointing and felt misreading, was that it said it was a room with an “ocean view” we were to the side of the building so really couldn’t see the beach from our window (no balcony either) You are looking through a narrow view between 2 other hotels to see the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay! Everyone was so friendly and the area is great; several food options within walking distance and a short walk to the beach!
