There was hair in the sink, a white substance in the bathtub, some small reddish brown circles on the bathroom floor. If that wasn't bad enough, the window, to the right of the was baarded up.

This property definitely needs some work. There was no furniture in my room except for a fridge and a bed. None of the usual amenities I would expect at a motel were present, for instance, hangers for the closet, an iron for wrinkled clothes or curtains to block the bright sign blasting light through the window at night covered only by what looks to be plastic used to protect the windows from stray paint. With that said, this property has the potential to be five stars. It is in an excellent location on the East side of Pasadena off a major road that is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The rate at the time I stayed was awesome. I was out most of my stay conducting my business and not in the room. They have a nice pool to hang out next to that is well kept. While I can't give this property the rate I believe it will live up to in the future for now, I will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future visits to the Pasadena area and will hopefully see the improvements sorely needed corrected by that time. The improvements look to be actively ongoing, and once those are complete, I'm very sure this place will be a haven for travellers looking for accommodations in the San Gabriel Valley.

It is under contruction and upgrading at the moment. Room was missing end tables, but all things were new, (bed, bathroom, paint, etc.). When finished, this place should be nice. Staff could use an upgrade on hospitality, and customer interaction.

I had roaches in my room, I provided video proof of this and nothing was done. They do not provide hand towels or face towels at all, I requested to have new towels put in my room and it was never done, they were building community microwaves built in cages and drilled directly into my wall all morning and the following day. I will NEVER return to this place ever again.

The people were nice and helpful. There were no blankets in room, and when we went back to ask we were given very thin poor quality blankets that had stains, a cigaret burn and some sticky morsels. There were no washcloths or small hand towels. Did have two clean bath towels. Parking fine by room for easy unloading and ramp accessible. Did have simple desk with shelves set in for storage. Table and two chairs. Large TV.

It’s just a room I like the heat I like the bed I like the bathroom and it was clean I like that there’s no rugs on the floor. But it’s an average room just the room so the price was a little bit more than usual but it’s OK because it was an event The rose parade

The motel was in terrible condition outside -- broken, dirty and unsafe. Lightbulbs were burned out outside, and the sign that said "morning coffee" was false advertising, there was NO coffee in the morning (no coffee maker in the room and no coffee or anything in the lobby, which was locked). Also the room smelled. Only positive was that the room was ample size.

It’s a cool motel

I got two rooms , one of the room doesn’t have water, I have shared the issue with the stuff and he told me because you got room cheaper one of the room doesn’t have water.

DEAD ROACHES IN THE ROOM WHEN WE WALKED IN. (5 to be exact) Manager couldn't care less, refused to refund. Ppl hanging out in the parking lot with bags/garbage sitting around. People live there.

Room was simple, no frills and very clean. A small brown bug (rhymes with coach) greeted us inside the room upon arrival...but the room was so clean, we assumed it may have come from outside/fumigation after effects.

There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Also wifi did not work the entire time of stay.

My stay at this motel was not good. The room wasn't clean, the shower was broken and everything was dirty. I observed few insects walking on the floor and bed.

It was nothing like the photos, we didn’t even get real blankets, there was graffiti everywhere, it felt unsafe, beds were broken, tv didn’t work, and the rooms were not well maintained.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS DUMP!!! I WAS MOVED TO 3 DIFFERENT ROOMS. ONE HAS NO WATER, GRAFFITI, HOLES & DRIED BLOOD STAINS ON THE WALL, LOOSE WIRES FROM TV (WHICH DID NOT WORK). THE NEXT ROOM HAD NO ELECTRICITY!!! NOTHING WORKED!!! THEY CHECKED ME INTO ROOMS WITH NO ELECTRICITY AND NO WATER!!! THATS ILLEGAL!! FINALLY THE THIRD ROOM HAD A TV WITH NO SOUND, MOLD ON THE CEILING, A BROKEN MINI-REFRIGERATOR, AND A BROKEN LOCK ON THE DOOR!!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE AND THE MANAGEMENT DID NOT CARE AT ALL!! SHAME ON EXPEDIA FOR ADVERTISING FOR THESE PEOPLE! I SENT IN PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF EVERYTHING AND WAS REFUSED MY REFUND BY EXPEDIA!!! I WILL BE CONTACTING AN ATTORNEY SOON!! Avoid this place

This place is terrible. Very dirty, and felt unsafe. A lot of really sketch people wandering around all night in and out of the property. The room was disgusting. I slept in my car.

Smells like smoke. The staff is incompetent kids who don’t speak English. Broken windows. Noosy people hanging out in the parking lot.

this place needs a lot of work. It definitely has some potential and I talked to the guy that manages the place and he said they had just bought it long ago and I really hope they clean it up because it would be a great location and a nice place to stay, but it definitely needs some work.

Horrible experience. The toilet was leaking The room was dirty . We were told that we would get a room change and was ignored . People outside smoking drugs and yelling all night .

It was somewhat ok. The conditions of the beds were very dated. And the bed frame was so light that it squeaked so much that I couldn’t really sleep well. And the conditions of the bathtub was just terrible it didn’t even seem like they cleaned the room properly. I checked out the next day and didn’t shower cause of the conditions of the bath. I waited to check in my other hotel that I had reserved with another company to ensure I had a clean bathroom

Extensive mold in shower, low water pressure. Found paraphernalia in room. Room was dirty, furniture broken down, T.V. did not work, no remote. One bed broken the other made so much noise when you moved it woke you up. Etc, etc, etc.

This is the worst place ever I had to change the first room they gave me, it was still dirty from the last people that were there I guess, there was throw on the wall and the closet door it looked like there was dried up blood on the bottom of the entrance door. There were a lot of holes on the walls that’s didn’t look right or normal, and they were big enough to see through there was no microwave and the tv didn’t work. So I asked to changed the room and they did change my room it was bigger but the tv still didn’t work there was no microwave and one of the guests that were staying 2 rooms down crept through the back to our window and looked inside when I went to check he was jumping I side his back window to his room I let the front office know and they didn’t even care or do anything or offer me any kind of reimbursement. The worst stay in my life, I just felt unsafe and really uncomfortable I will never be coming here again. They didn’t need a deposit and it was cheap, but now I see why. You definitely get what you pay for.

The bed was nice and comfortable. Some areas of room were unfinished as in construction. Makeshift drapes. Shower was good. Pretty austere.

Lights did not work . Plastic bags were covering the windows . Did not offer us another room. Told us to call Expedia to get a refund . Had go find another hotel. Called Expedia. Expedia told us they needed to contact the hotel to get refund . Expedia tried for several days to contact the hotel. Expedia left a message that they tried but could not refund my money . BUYER BEWARE . DO NOT STAY HERE .

Overall, it is bad enough, dirty, bad conditions, broken windows, dirty sinks, dirty beds……

Dingy and bad smell of cigarettes and dirty mop water in the room. The windows don’t open and there is stains on the walls. Additionally only one light in the room worked do not book here!

À lot cheaper than the nearby competition but still very expensive for what it is, at least on Rose Bowl event nights. It's survivable but not an enjoyable experience.

The shower had a light that was hanging from the ceiling that was not mounted with bare wires just waiting to electrocute you.

Terrible! I arrived at 1am and the bed has no pillow at all and saw roaches, dirty bathroom sink and the toilet didn’t even have toilet seat, the smell of room is horrible, the worst thing that they didn’t want to refund the money! They are theft!! Big time don’t recommend!

First off the tv didn’t work there was barely any running water in the sink 1 towel asked to switch rooms they said all the tvs are broken.

This place is a fraud. Pictures posted are from some different place or perhaps very old. Current state does not resemble pictures at all. Furniture in room was broken, in very bad shape. Next day morning I realized toilet and sink weee also clogged. Did not have time to find another place at 11 pm in the night so just slept in the room and checked out asap in the morning. Run from this place as fast as possible

Horror on Colorado Blvd Pasadena

This place should not even be listed!!! Horrible stay, where to begin? 2 people only 1 towel (a bath) towe provided. TV not functioning or set up. Bullet hole in window, mold in shower. If I could rate negative stars i would. Not to mention the transient residents staying there all hours. Didn't feel comfortable at all. Mattresses were probably good in the 90s. Only saving grace was that family we were visiting in Sierra Madre were close. This place is truly awful.! Would love to get a refund.

The bed was dirty. The room reeked of cigarettes and the bathroom still had used bars of soap from the previous people. Towels smelled like cigarettes, spiders everywhere.

It was nice friendly management and workers, property was under renovation so that's why I rated average that also hurt the potential for the room for cleanliness, but bottom line it was a good place to stay for a few nights considering I was only planning for 1 night.

Cold weather

Staff was incredibly rude and didn’t care about the safety of their guests!!!!!! Too many creepy and seedy people standing around outside just watching people. I didn’t feel safe there at all and the staff did nothing about it. I’m sure they would have sung a different tune had it been their own family feeling like that. Just abhorrent! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

All the pictures on the app are not like the real rooms are. This rolm is worth 30 dollars.

They kept my security deposit and refused to acknowledge that we had given a deposit. It was not documented properly.

This property left like it hadn’t been updated since the 90s. There was dog feces smeared on the walkway in front of my door and my sheets were literally crusty in spots. It was as close to being a slum without bugs as it could be.

Over all my stay was good but the rooms definitely look nothing like the l imagine shown

Checking in was frustrating. They didn’t have my name on file for my reservation. It took 20 min to check me in. The room was ok upon entering but the disappointing part of all was the hideous bathroom. It had gum marks on the tile, paint was flaking off, sink was clogging up and mildew also.

Room was in poor condition, unfinished patches on walls, bathroom door would not shut properly, blinds were missing many slats. In need of a paint job. Upside: No bugs, gated and very quiet.

Looked like apartments from the 90s quickly converted into a hotel without any updates. Tiles falling off the shower wall. The door barely locked. Couldn’t close all the windows. There was a nail sticking up form the floor. Dirty tissue behind the night stand. Stains on bed. Left in the middle of the night because laying in the beds felt itchy. Attached photo is the nail sticking out of the ground I stepped on.

Very disappointed by the property. For the location it should of been cleaner and updated rooms. Very disappointed with restroom it was not clean a used bar of soap was left in shower. Towels were so old not usable stained . I will not stay at this location ever again

Honestly, I can't complain as it was free rewards staying, but: 1) The free rewards staying was somewhat hard from receptionist to process. 2) you can hear everything outside. 3) The bathroom towel could be thicker.

The windows didn’t have screens. It didn’t feel clean. There were loud noisesblike machinery above me. Thanks for the good service, the amenities, and the toiletries.

They gave my room to someone else and i was left without a room late at night and they couldn't tell me why they did that when i had my confirmation number from the booking i did with Hotels.com. Very upsetting when you have traveled from far thinking you are going to rest and you are left figuring out were you will be sleeping since a lot of places were booked already.
