Nice to have a bathtube, but there was no safety rail or safety stripes on the tub bottom. One could easily slip and fall leading to a bad outcome. Very limited breakfast. Will not return in any future trip.
Stay was great. Close to loveland ski area, comfy beds and good breakfast. They had bagels, muffins, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs, cheese sticks, fruit, coffee and juices. Would definitely stay here again!
Property was a little dated- but the beds were comfy and the entire property and rooms were clean. Breakfast was a bonus! Thanks!
Dont expect much
When we booked the hotel @hotle.com the pics were amazing but when we arrived the room was so called lodge. Our expectations went down the hill. Anyways the lodge(Inn) was okay but not worth the price. Rest was good the receptionist was good warm welcome and very friendly.
Great front office personnel
2 days of skiing
Was exactly what I was looking for - skiing. Hotel is old, but price was right, was quiet, and bed was comfortable
Decent enough for a quick one night. I wish the check in was a bit more welcoming
Overall, it is fine and clean, just not much else
Perfectly aged mountain town hotel-
Had to stay here unexpectedly due to major traffic delays on I-70. The staff was very accommodating and kind. Pool and hot tub were a nice surprise. Pet friendly however didn’t smell like some of the pet friendly rooms at other hotels have. Everything was clean as could be given the age. This is in no way a luxury type hotel but more a cozy mountain 80s vibe but not in a bad way. It’s just aged and the look and feel is such but even for the age it was very clean. The breakfast is not fancy but is enough to get buy for the day and is nice they even offer it. Mostly cold food or items you warm in microwave but also bagels and toast with toaster available. Parking was great we were able to park right by our room which was ideal. I would stay here again if in a pinch should I find myself suck in hours of traffic on holiday weekend.
Overall, things were good, but pool area and room needed some maintenance like paint and broken window at pool
Will definitely be staying here every time.
Good size room, comfortable beds and pillows, clean and quiet. Very cozy lobby where you can enjoy your breakfast - all simple but with quality.
Nothing special bit clean, convenient and quiet. Staff were terrific.
The friendliest place to find in the middle of a snowstorm! Thanks for the warm welcome and clean room!
Very nice place and I'm glad I stayed there.
Loved our stay here! Service was quick and convenient! Our room was clean and comfortably fit our group of 5. The hot tub was excellent on a cold night and easy to use. The continental breakfast had great options. Our favorite part was that the inn is walking distance from Pho Bay which was delicious! Would definitely stay her again!
It was a good way to stay and ski in the area. However, many restaurants in Georgetown were closed though.
Great little mountain gem. Staff is incredible and willing to accommodate all your needs! The place could use a little updating but with the good customer service, it wasn’t a super big deal. Would stay again!
Wonderful rustic charm
Staff are very friendly. The room is warm, clean and welcoming. Hotel does have onsite staff after 10 pm, so not sure how late check-in would work. Shuttle pickup from Loveland Ski Area is available (saw a guest picked up by the shuttle).
Awesome area to stay in while visiting Colorado. Nestled between white mountains tops and just 30 min. Drive from lots of outdoor activities. It was nice to come back to small quiet town after being in the hustle and bustle all day.. will be back in the future. Only dislike was the hot tube was dirty but all in all was great
We really enjoyed our stay. Was convenient to many of the local attractions. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable, and the heating system works great!!!
We stayed here one night after doing a nighttime train ride. It was convenient, clean and had a nice pool/hot tub along with a continental breakfast. The property is dated but it was fine for what we needed.
The staff was excellent. The receptionist remembered us by name. Impressive !
The front desk lady was very nice! Very informative and helpful. She even built a nice fire for us in the lobby!! She was awesome!
Georgetown Rockies
Jessica was amazing. She showed us different rooms, and knew all the best places to eat.
We arrived late at night and the hotel staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
I enjoyed the pool the breakfast and the Nintendo . Very good customer service
This is a great rustic mountain motel. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and clean. There is a dog park a block away that my pups loved. The location is close to a lot of classic Colorado activities and sights.
Very cute place, would def stay here again. Really convenient walking to like all of Georgetown. If I go to the lake u might wanna drive but it’s like a 5 minute drive. Only issue is the deadbolt didn’t work (there were other locks though) and the bathroom door didn’t latch or lock. But neither are huge issues
It’s an old hotel so it does need some improvement but the staff is super friendly and helpful.
Sweet place, friendly staff
A surprisingly quaint place. Pool and hot tub were a surprise.
Cosy lobby with a large stone wood burning fireplace Very friendly ladies managing the property
Extremely old and dirty
Very comfortable, friendly place to stay. Enjoyed walking to great dining and having an evening swim in the heated pool, on site.
Nice old school
I liked the rustic furnishings. Convenient to the interstate. Disliked the parking, limited space.
A friendly greeting from the front desk. Room was nice and clean. Bed was Goldilocks perfect. Coffee was perfectly strong. We'll be back. It is a bit pricey but we love Georgetown ❤️
Wonderful Location and Clean Rooms
Good! Very friendly staff. We were supposed to camp and our site wasnt suitable. So it was last minute we found a room there! So accommodating with our two dogs!!
It is very unique, had a great experience. The management even gave us bikes for rent.. which i feel is the best thing they did.. Really enjoyed the stay
Wonderful hotel with fantastic customer service. We had to check in late after the lobby closed, very smooth transaction. Breakfast was much better than typical continental breakfast. Very homey, down to earth environment.
Very clean and rustic
Georgetown Mountain Inn, family & hiker-friendly
The Georgetown Mountain inn was perfect for our family trip to Colorado. We had a room with 3 comfortable beds, which was optimal for us. A large round table in the room was great for remote work or picnic meals. A hot tub and a warm pool were great on cooler nights! Breakfast was provided, the Inn had a good range of food for hungry hikers. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. Georgetown area had a lot to do in both fine weather and on rainy days. We had a great time hiking up to St. Mary’s Glacier and on trails along Guanella pass. The town itself has some good eateries and a great general food store downtown with some interesting picnic offerings, Kneisel and Anderson. We’d go back to the Georgetown Mountain Inn in a heartbeat!
The room was larger than I expected, with old fashioned furniture, a nice cosy feeling, but modern air conditioning. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was fairly minimal but good enough. The pool area was nice.
I can honestly say that regardless of age or condition, this was the cleanest motel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating. We will stay here again! Nostalgic for anyone who traveled as a child with their grandparents in the 80’s.
The staff was very helpful and nice
It was a nice room had a large table and 4 chairs so we both had a place to sit. Very comfortable room.
The hotel is old and seedy. Our air conditioner was a fan.
The facilities are dated and don’t expect A/C in your room. I suggest staying away from a room next to the stairs because the sound of people coming and going is heard through the walls. If I had nowhere else to stay while visiting Georgetown, then the Inn is good enough. Otherwise, I suggest finding accommodations elsewhere with better facilities and amenities.
Rustic visit
Our stay was nice and comfortable. Great eats at the local saloon which is a short walk.
Easy check in and great simple stop before a big hike.
The hotel is older, but very well maintained. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, and the staff was very nice. The hotel is in the middle of town and easy to walk everywhere. I highly recommend staying here!
Great place
Perfect for our family
The young woman at the check in counter was weirdly surly, but the room was clean. if you need supplies you must take them from the front desk because the rooms arent stocked with things like lotion and conditioner.
Nice
Older ski chalet so hasn't been updated in a long time. That being said, we had the "apartment" upstairs from the lobby. We slept 5 adults (was also supposed to be one child) and it was very comfortable. Large living area with big dining table. Fully equipted kitchen so technically you could prepare and serve all meals. They offered a very adequate breakfast (included) and it was a very quiet place. Nice heated indoor pool and outside jacuzzi. Would stay again!!
Quick and easy check in. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast.
This is definitely an older property. However, the room was clean, the sheets and towels decent, the staff accommodating, a typical continental breakfast provided as well. All in all fine for our 2 night stay. No coffee pot in the room, but the office always had some brewing.
Property has been updated. Good value for the price.
Amazing location. Friendly staff and fun environment
Great affordable place to stay if skiing. Room is outdated but isn’t important to me.
In hindsight, I payed more for the property than I should have in comparison to other hotels I have stayed at before
Super amazing,
Nice clean accommodation
Not modern, more of a classic. But it's clean, convenient, and the staff are friendly, accommodating, and patient. A couple of restaurants within very short walking distance. Recommended.
Very pleasant stay!
Very helpful and considerate. No hesitation coming here next time.
The young lady at the check in was so nice, genuine , helpful and professional…
Great place to stay on trip to slopes
The place was darling!
Excellent Inn, with a mountain vibe.
We stated here for a ski weekend. We went to Vail and Keystone in well under an hour from here (leaving by 7:30am) for well under half the price of a hotel closer to the resorts. The staff were lovely, the included breakfast was really well done and helped us get out the door quickly for our adventures. The small lobby was very comfortable and there was a lovely wood burning fireplace that was well tended. The room was very clean, the mattress and pillows very comfortable. It’s an older building so there are dated features and some paint that could use some touching up, but I would definitely stay here again.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The included breakfast had more than we expected (hard boiled eggs, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, and toast). The rooms were dated but clean. Our only complaint was with the bathroom. There was obvious water damage to the baseboards. However, the worse part was the moldy shower curtain.
Old but clean and comfortable, It reminded me of the motels we use to stay in in the 70's. The deadbolt lock did. not align to lock completely, which was concerning for a single woman. But I figured Georgetown is not a high crime city.
Very friendly front staff
Great
Great place
Incredible service
We ended up at the Georgetown Mountain Inn after being in an accident on the I70. The road conditions were terrible and the hotel was swamped with people looking for rooms, some of whom were very impatient and the hotel staff stayed calm and professional and kind. Our truck was stuck in their parking lot until the tow truck could come and they were patient, accommodating and just very kind throughout. I would always choose to stay here again.
Overnight stay
Older hotel, very clean, good substantial continental breakfast, pleasant staff, bathroom door needs to be fixed. Otherwise everything was great.
This is a good Inn for people going to activities in the surrounding mountains (ski, mountain bike, etc...) You will find indoor pool and exterior jacuzzi. Close by (walking distance) few restaurants and convenience store, gas stations, tourist info office. Outstanding staff, may be the best in my experience...
Nice place to stay everything is close and excellent costumer service
This is a great family spot! Staff were really nice and upgraded our room and left a treat for our son's birthday. We were in town to take the kids on the holiday train, and this was a great place to stay for the night. Walkable to the main street with restaurants and shops and a great park with a playground. Really nice indoor pool on site for kids, too! Would stay again!
Great little local place to stay. Location was convenient for dinning and Georgetown Loop. Kids loved the indoor pool. The staff were even nice enough to call us shortly after we checked out to let us know we left a kids stuffy behind. Very happy overall.
We based our decision to stay here on the reviews. However, bathroom had black mold around the tub, carpet was old and dirty, all lights only worked from the main switch as the switch by the bed didn’t work. The lamp shade on one of the lamps was cracked and broken. The pillows kept slipping behind the bed and the outlet behind the bed couldn’t be used because the bed was too close to it and the bed was too heavy to move it away. Oh yes, the heat couldn’t be adjusted until it decided to get hot in the middle of the night. So, all in all, if you are only looking for a bed to sleep in, then you will be fine.
Great spot in Georgetown, the staff was incredibly welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was a great touch!
It is nice and clean
Most excellent stay in one of my favorite Colorado towns
We enjoyed our time at Georgetown Mountain Inn. It had a nice rustic feel, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay before tackling a mountain hike. The room was perfectly clean but not pristine in terms of maintenance (some chipped paint etc.), but nothing that impacted our stay. If you are looking for a modern, new and shiny place to stay, look elsewhere. But for mountain charm, this was a great place.
The room was clean beds beyond outdated n hard. Heat didnt work in room was very cold. When mentioned in the morning the girl at counter didnt give a ??? 200 dallors 4 a night should at least have a heater n when mentioned should have been a concern office closed at night n no one to help.
It's close to the highway
It was nice and clean but the parking was bad, we have a very large truck it didn’t fit to good
Worst expensive hotel we’ve ever stayed. Front door and bathroom locks didn’t work, bathroom was dirty and worn out and carpet was filthy.
We'll be back!
Loved the feeling of being in the mountains. Will be staying there again.
wonderful front desk customer service. great place to stay and would recommend.
The staff was very friendly but the actual rooms looked rundown.
Wonderful staff, very helpful. Mattresses, pillows, towels need replaced and updated. Rustic. Renovations would make a huge impact.
Charming town in a lovely setting. Georgetown Mountain Inn provided a nice, quiet place to stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Shout out to Jessica who went out of her way to accommodate our late check- in.
Place was super clean! Staff were friendly! It’s quite at night. Would stay again.
Clean good customer service good breakfast.
East checkin, nice room. Quiet! Will definitely stay there again.
We had the Suite room. Very large and comfortable. Continental breakfast is available. The outside hot tub is perfect for the 2 of us. We had a few problems with A/C and ceiling fans not working but we opened the windows and that really cooled down the room. Overall we would stay again.

Love this spot in Georgetown before the Eisenhower Tunnel. Just a quick trip to Loveland Ski area. Georgetown Mountain Inm is a gem.
