TravellerDecent and clean apartment but it was different to the one in the photos that we booked. It was clean. Only annoying bit was the bathroom drain was blocked and there was no dish soap. Overall, great location to see the northern lights and cute surroundings with a lake at 100m.
TravellerLiked the lakeside location and coziness. Stayed in one of the double bedrooms 3 nights. Everything was good but there are signs letting you know of quiet times due to noise carrying throughout the building very easily. Unfortunately, not everyone adhered to the quiet times and I was woken up multiple times throughout my stay with people moving around, talking, and slamming doors. Something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.

Rosa sunsets with the lake….I hope we could come back.

Oli todella sympaattinen paikka, todella kodin omainen ja maanläheinen. Ihan pehmeät sängyt. Seinät ohuet, joten muiden äänet kuuluvat. Pieni, mutta siisti yhteiskeittiö.

TravellerTolle, ruhige Lage direkt am Wasser. Viele Aktivitäten direkt vom Hostel. Süßes Café und allgemeine Räumlichkeiten. In unserem Appartement war teilweise etwas wenig Platz für 4 Leute, z.B. war der Esstisch extrem klein. Ein paar mehr Geschirrhandtücher wären als Ausstattung ganz gut, wenn man länger als 2 Tage dort bleibt. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne und preiswerte Unterkunft, vor allem für die Lofoten. Man darf natürlich nicht mit Hotels vergleichen. Es ist und bleibt ein Hostel.
TravellerOlimme kaksi yötä, hostelli sijaitsi ihanassa ympäristössä! Kierrätys huomioitu ja tarpeellisia asioita löytyi retkeilijän näkökulmasta mm kuivatushuone ja vaatteiden pesumahdollisuus. Vessoja ja suihkuja oli mielestämme liian vähän nähden yöpyjien määrään hostellissa. Huoneessamme oli lavuaari missä voi pestä hampaat ja ottaa vettä.

Vi har hatt det så fint på Furu! De ansatte er så hyggelige og yter alltid det lille ekstra. Vi var i utgangspunktet skuffet å høre at kafeen skulle holde stengt etter sommersesongen, og at det ble servert "familie-middag" og "enkel frokost" istedenfor. Men! det hadde vi ikke trengt å bli. Maten var fantastisk på alle måter! De har også veldig god vin og øl. Setter veldig pris på at de holder seg til vegetar/fiskeretter og til lokal-produsert mat. Rommet var veldig koselig. Det er et gammelt bygg så det er litt lytt, men de andre gjestene tok stort sett hensyn. Badene var delt, men alltid rene. De virket til å sjekke de hver morgen og kveld. De ansatte var enormt hjelpsomme med alt. De kom med anbefalelser på hvor å reise, gå på tur, padle og mer. Og tok hensyn til våre matallergier. Hele hostellet har en fantastisk vibe og vi har storkost oss med kvelder foran peisen mens vi ble kjent med både andre gjester og ansatte, med å henge på spillrommet og med å sitte ved innsjøkanten og se på solnedgangen (pluss i boka for badstua med nydelig utsikt ved innsjøen).Det er mange flotte sitteplasser ute rundtom hostellet. De har virkelig øye for detaljer her og det er småting som gjenbruksgarderoben, oppfordring til å la skoene stå ved inngangen og gå sokkelessen, tilgang til brettspill og et lite felleskjøkken som gjør at man føler seg hjemme med en gang. De har en flott natur-basert estetikk og setter helt tydelig pris på sin "community": Vi gleder oss til å komme igjen!
