Clean, confortable, very helpful and friendly staff
Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Modern hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. I was on driving trip and hotel parking was easily accessible and ample. Quick and inexpensive taxi ride to Siena center so I did not have to drive there and search for parking. Taxi ride back to hotel was also quick and easy. Breakfast had good selection of food and was tasty.

Exlent
Extraordinary property with a beautiful and huge front parking lot full of old olive trees. Reception in ground floor huge and tastefully arranged.
Clean and friendly staff.
This is a very nice affordable hotels with everything you need. As we had a rental car, we could easily get to places we wanted to go. We used this hotel at the tail end of our visit and would highly recommend it.
The location is in the middle of several key locations accessible by car or bus, is clean, and very nice. We enjoyed an outstanding but quite expensive dinner in the hotel restaurant. The staff were helpful and the free breakfast was welcome and decent.
overall OK. Out of the old city - requires transportation. Room OK but poor Bathroom amenities (Shampoo conditioner and body soap from the same wall mounted tube) Poor air-condition for very hot summer.
Nice breakfast and lovely outside pool!
Excellent service! Clean, beautiful pool, large open space in lobby with comfortable chairs, couches, and tables for socializing! Very welcoming!!
Hotel very clean. Beds are very comfortable.
It was an easy place to stay .
Overall good missing few tips no Netflix or Prime I requested a wake up call and they woke me up an hour later 🤔 dinner was average had the boar sauce pasta and was old to me. Asked for a charger and there was any. Bed was comfortable room nice
Clean Rooms
Hotel and staff brilliant but my disappointment was no English Channel NOT ONE to listen to news, I know it’s in Italy but that’s not an excuse
There was no air conditioning in our room the phones didn’t work and there was no hot water!!!! After several phone calls (from my cell) they finally admitted there was nothing they could do! At 11:30 pm they offered me a new room! My wife was already in bed! We did not move after 2 more calls a fan was delivered. I talked with staff in the morning and there was nothing they could or would do!!!!
I stayed here for business, initially making a 4 night booking on Expedia. I purposely chose the Flexible pay at property rate, in the event of my plans changing. After my first night, my plans did indeed change, meaning I would only need a 3 night booking. I explained to the hotel who said this shouldn’t be a problem to amend but to contact Expedia. Upon contacting Expedia they mentioned the hotel must change the booking. The hotel would not change the booking and insisted I would be charged for the final night which I would not need. They would not budge on this, being incredibly stubborn. What is the point in booking pay-at-property on non-advance flex rates.. clearly none. As well as going back on their word.. This bad practice of “cutting off their nose to spite their face” was effectively “well, we’re going to charge you because we can”, taking into no account my reason for booking non-advance purchase. It’s really a pretty poor show, for an otherwise nice hotel. It really has left me wondering that when I’m next in the area, if I would stay here. Be wary when making any sort of flex pay-at-property rate at this hotel; they probably won’t honour it and that’s a real shame. Taints my experience of visiting beautiful Tuscany.
A well placed stay!
Good hotel on the outskirts of Siena, that offers ample parking, along with a good sized pool, for taking time out. Great staff that are happy to help and make your stay as good as it can be. Rooms are both tidy and spacious, offering every detail that you may require. With it only being a short taxi ride in to the centew if Siena, this is a good location to saty at during your visit.
Fabulous stay. Staff are very friendly. Hotel is out of city center but has a great pool and restaurant on site. 12-15 Euros for taxi into town. Highly recommended.
We stayed at this hotel to be close to the hospital where our daughter was transferred in an emergency situation. This was not a planned visit for us - not a vacation. The staff here was over the top considerate and accommodating of our situation. It’s also a lovely hotel with a beautiful pool and great restaurant - I’d highly recommend this hotel!!
Wonderful!!!
Customer Service Excellence!
The check-in experience was exemplary! A new way to welcome weary travelers! The staff were completely customer-focused at all times and made our experience there amazing. The facilities are clean and extremely well appointed. We will be back and definitely recommend!
In general it was good. Free parking was nice and if you have a car then getting to the "Old City" was very easy.
A
everything was great thank you
What I liked about this property that it has a complimentary parking for the guests.
Room was clean, comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful.
Typical chain style hotel
Typical room in chain style hotel, nothing bad, but also nothing special. Just enough trying to justify the price.
We enjoyed our stay there
Hotel great, challenge is location, easy to get into town via bus but after 9.30 pm no bus available back and finding a taxi a real challenge...
Very nice and quiet hotel. Close to Siena and perfect for going out to see the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
Nice and modern but be aware of govt regulated AC
Amenities listed air conditioning and we now understand the government doesn’t allow air conditioning at the end of April but it would have been helpful if that was noted as it was a major reason we booked this particular hotel. We were promised a fan that never arrived, perhaps due to language challenges as we were Americans visiting Italy, which is on us for not better preparing ourselves to communicate effectively.
We had a great time.
We like so much, we booked three more nights.
Why not ?!
It’s definitely a very comfortable place- nothing fancy about it. They are definitely good with Covid control measures. There is an outdoor pool which is nice in case you prefer sun bathing to wandering around beautiful Siena. Breakfast is descent and staff are nice and friendly. One thing: the distance from downtown Siena is realistically 20 min or so- but it’s an easy / nice ride.
The hotel was new, well equipped, great staff. Extremely comfortable. Not the best location, but good value for the price.
Nice helpful front desk people, clean and tidy room. Nice outdoor pool.Big and bright lobby Stylish decorated.
Not bad but terrible breakfast
One night stay. Bed was great, room clean... the only thing that disappoints is breakfast. I understand it’s tough covid-19 time, but it’s not an excuse to limit food so badly.. looks like hotel is looking for savings on food.
Great pool, great location, great staff
In these strange times, Four Points by Sheraton Siena did all that they could to keep travellers safe - social distancing, hand sanitiser available everywhere, staff in face masks, floors marked out to ensure people queueing kept apart. The staff were really helpful, going out of their way to help. The pool ir gorgeous, rooms spacious and well-appointed, breakfast has a good selection. The only faults were no coffee in the bedroom, only tea, and the limited menu i n the restaurant in the evenings - but the latter is due to COVID so can't really be helped.
The staff were really good but the room conditions we had was a bit stressful as AC didn’t work in room and than we were moved to another room that AC still didn’t work, the shower flooded the whole room and no full length mirror and tv was not working.
Top class
Superbly maintained hotel. Helpful staff, lovely food, excellent pool.
Good hotel but nor the best location
Nice hotel but the location is not the best as there are not many places near by. Restaurant wasnt open for lunch or dinner when we stayed so we had to get snacks from the reception which were quite expensive. Room was very clean and comfortable.
Very clean and location was very close to the city centet. Free parking was a plus other charge up to 45 euro per day.
The property was very clean and the pool was very welcoming. The staff in all departments - front desk staff, restaurant, pool, maintenance - were all helpful and accommodating.
Fabulous hotel
Lovely hotel. Even though a large hotel, it was immaculately clean and all the staff we're extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. Pool area beautiful. Not much in the area, but bus stop to town is right outside for 1.5 euros. I recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again in autumn.
Wonderful Stay at this Sheraton!
This hotel was excellent! Mara was fabulous. Sheraton is lucky to have such a graceful and knowledgeable employee! She willingly and patiently answered a lot of questions I had about our visit to Siena. She also contacted the Perugia chocolate Factory for us when I told her we were having trouble getting through to them for me and she ordered a taxi that got us into Siena. The hotel is a not within an easy walking distance to the center of Siena, but that was not an issue. The taxi arrived at the hotel in about a minute and it was a 10 minute ride at most to get to the center. The ride cost 10 euros even for a minivan taxi. When we were done visiting the city, we called a taxi and it was another 10 euro ride back to the hotel. The rooms were great and the breakfast options were varied and delicious from the fresh baked breads, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, cappuccino, juices, etc... We would definitely stay there again!
Pleasantly surprised
A very modern hotel in the middle of an old city, a very pleasant surprise. The stay couldn’t have been better
Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is not so good.
The property was good for driving into the center of Siena
Excellent, excellent hotel. From the front desk, to the ladies at breakfast to housekeeping all are excellent. Management must really treat there employees well because it shows in there performance. Nothing but positive. Not much as far as restaurants around the hotel but downtown Siena is 10 minutes away by car or a 10 euros taxi ride. Wifi excellent, easier to stay here than in Siena and much more comfortable. No American channels on tv would be the only downside. Not even CNN .
First visit to Siena.
Nice place with car parking lots for self drive . Big room, big bed, big toilet. However it’s challenging to drive our way to the hotel. Google Map sometimes quite confusing.
A great property to use as a base fo exploring Siena and Tuscany. The rooms were clean and spacious and the huge lobby was a great place for a drink or to sit and relax. Car parking is free and just outside the front door. The staff are friendly and helpful. The front desk was able to book tours. Elise and Dario at the front desk were great and Elandro at the bar kept us laughing. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Close to Siena walled city. Free off street parking. Friendly staff and room size was generous.
- US traveler. - Good hotel. - great staff -clean - breakfast was great. - no great views around - location not near any shops or tourist attractions - have to take you car or cab. - all tourist places around 1/2 he to 1 hour drive.
Excellent hotel in the heart of beautiful Tuscany. Great breakfast options. Perfect location for drivers wanting to criss cross tuscany.
Great modern hotel in Siena
Finally a modern hotel in Siena. It's not our first time in Siena, but we always had to settle for "traditional" hotels, which usually means a non-renovated building, small and smelly old rooms and no modern facilities (like fast WiFi, sufficient power outlets etc.). The Four Points was completely renovated last year and now lives to the standards of a modern Sheraton hotel. As a Platinum member we were upgraded to a suite which was awesome. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Good breakfast, and nice dinner, so you do not need to go look for anything (although if you are in Siena, you'd probably want to explore the old city and eat there). Their great service has shown when my wife forgot a necklace in the room. I was ready to give up on it, since usually the hotel staff "does not find it". This time when I called after a few hours they happily said they have found it, and shipped it to our next stop stop in Italy. Honest people, great service. One suggestion though: heat the pool. The water were too cold even for August, and hardly anyone entered the water. Could have been better if the water were a bit warmer. We will definitely stay in this hotel again when in Siena.
Hotel is clean, nice and staff are friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast (wide choice, well organized).
Excellent hotel I would recommend it to all people.
Wonderful hotel in heart of Siena
We are extremely happy with this high quality hotel. Great location, wonderful amenities and an exceptional staff! 5 star.
outstanding stay
Outstanding stay, highly recommended hotel, great service
A bit far from Siena town
The WiFi did not work in my room and in many areas of the lobby. Free parking, nice breakfast, quiet neighborhood.
Very comfortable and staff very good; the comfort of US hotels in Siena
Great Siena Hotel
Great hotel with great staff
One night and enjoyed the stay
One night stay and pleased with reasonable rate and despite being some distance from the city abus stop was at the gate of the property.
roomy room, super breakfast
We enjoyed the spacious room and the comfort of the large bed and being able to open the windows and enjoy the fabulous thunderstorm. The breakfast was top class and the coffee of good quality, yeah!
Great hotel
This hotel facility is great, however the big downer for us was the wifi. It was really bad!! Nowadays, this is a big deal - I would bot have booked if I knew how bad it was. Besides that, I love that we had free parking and that we got an incredible deal through booking.com. Breakfast was ok, don't expect much. No coffee machine in the room either. The room was very comfortable though. I love the bed and the pillow, and all the rooms have a bath tub, which was great! Staff is very nice!
The worst stay I ever had
Waited 30-40 minutes for a bottle of WATER. after asking for the 5th time If I was going to get my water, the manager cursed me out. The food was Terrible. Clearly the staff has no idea what they are doing and they are easily serving frozen food and watered down versions of everything. the room itself... two outlets available. My laptop was bigger than the TV screen, Uncomfortable bed. The only thing that saved the stay was One girl at the front desk in glasses was being helping trying to accommodate me. The other girl just looked at me grabbed her bag and just left like she was saying "whatever it's your problem not mine. and just waved me off. Terrible service minus the one front desk clerk in glasses. Uncomfortable rooms. terrible food. terrible management. WILL NEVER recommend
1 night stay
It's a short journey into Siena but there's a bus stop right outside the hotel and it runs regularly. The hotel was pretty basic but clean and did the job. 2 large double beds in the room. There is a gym and a sauna although you will need to see the hotel staff to use the sauna as it was switched off whenever I looked in. Breakfast was fine but we ate out in the evening at Restaurant Colleverde which is just a short walk down the hill. I would defintely go there.
Very nice place. Breakfast very good. Front desk was very helpful.
Great hotel
FROM THE CHECKING TO CHECKOUT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. Everyone helped us beyond our dreams and rooms were great.
Good hotel
Good hotel , high prices , far a way from the city center, old furniture :(
I would never stay there anymore
It's part of nowhere. Does not have basic internet. It's a place for elders (you definitely see them while you have breakfast). If you have something serious to do when you visit Siena don't pick this hotel. Once, in an evening, I came back to the hotel and found the room door open. My guess is that the janitor forgot to lock it after he/she cleaned it. I understand that it might happen but the problem is when I tried to share this with the reception and he did not understand me at all and switched to Italian few times. There is a bald guy with circle beard style in the reception and I'm not sure if he knows what is he suppose to do. He is always stressed and does not have any plans about how to react to people.
Good value for money in Siena
Reasonably priced accomodation is difficult to find in Siena because the amazing places are expensive and everything else is mediocre. This was the best value for money (I've stayed in three other places for work). The room was big, the breakfast was decent and the wifi pretty good. It's close to the train station so convenient but a bit far from the city centre. Lots of tour groups but not loud, even though I was on the ground floor. Only real complaint was that the non-smoking rooms either used to be smoking or are just old as there was a funky smell inside the closet. The rest was fine.
Nice getaway
Hotel is located about 10-15 mins away from the Centre of Siena. There are busses to take you there, but we chose to drive. There was free parking onsite which was definitely a bonus. The hotel facilities were great! There's a gym & sauna on site, along with a bar. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Wifi was probably the best we've had in Italy so far! Breakfast consisted of cereals & muesli, bacon & eggs, pastries. We'd definitely stay there again if we were in the area.
One time enough
- Conference hotel? Not for family. - Suite? Just a sofa in another single room, Air Conditioner useless, open window over night. - TV no signal - No keetle, no free bottle water
Siena, close to old town
Nice staff, typical slow checkin. We got a spacious room for 3 (called suite) with hard beds that we like. Hotel is around 20 years old, but still ok. Breakfast below average
Excellent hotel. Modern,clean and comfortable
Helpful staff. Good clean hotel and not to far from the walled city of Sienna. Good parking area. Lobby was very spacious and nicely decorated.
Don't go here!!!
It was written in the hotel's ad on Hotels.com that it had free Wyfy. I need the WYFY for work, etc. and would not have gone to a hotel without it. It did not work in the room at all...the only Wyfy connection the computer recognized was the hotel next door - and we didn't have the password for that one. The desk staff lied about the service time after time. They couldn't even get the lies to match each other's. The restaurant told me that they were supposed to have Wyfy but it never worked. Big disappointment and would never recommend the hotel to anyone. I am also having difficulties with Hotels.com. They listened when I contacted them and gave me a credit of $20. but I guess I expected more action between them and the hotel.
Sienna Mercure don't think just book
A super stay we returned having been there for the first time last year I was hoping for an end room like last year and was unhappy when given one in the middle. Reception gave me a free upgrade and I got my end room Breakfast was good and varied. As a result of the caring friendly staff I left a happy customer Well done hotel Mercure! Position of the hotel is close to the centre when you have a car
Middling hotel
Away from city centre.Basic breakfast.Big room.Very bad wi-fi!
Nice hotel with easy parking
Location is good if you have a car since too far to walk to central part of beautiful Siena.
hotel located close enough to explore sienna but n
lovely clean quiet hotel. Near to Sienna. Good breakfast
No iron in the hotel!
very clean and lots of room to hang out in the lobby with family - were there for a wedding - it was perfect! I was disappointed that the hotel didn't have an iron - ended up ironing my clothes for the wedding with my hair straightener! the hotel attendant said their hotel policy doesn't allow an iron!
Siena Daze
Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant with the exception of 2 nights without air conditioning. Made for two uncomfortable nights sleep. The hotel staff were excellent with special mention of Lucia who went out of her way to make everything smooth.
Mecure standard at this hotel was poor
We checked into this mecure as usually they have a high standard The room of. Good size however the Internet was awful we had been travelling. For a number of weeks and needed a good internet to contact home and make. Further booking. The. Hotel was to far From town and nothing around the area aircondition very poor in our. Room breakfast was very good . The mecure in Australia has a good reputation we felt let down by this place
Good hotel but internet doesn't work
Wifi did not work in our room
Close to the hospital
Fantastic, lovely staff, great breakfast Very close to the hospital, which was very convenient for me on this trip.
Good stop over
It was nice, staff had a bit of a off day with me I think, they seemed very helpful to everyone else so could have been me!
Beautiful hotel & friendly staff. Bus stop was convenient (right out front). Would've been better though if in the city of Siena so didn't have to take the bus back & forth!
Good hotel / far from the city center
Good quality/ modern hotel that is 15 min. away from the old city center. Overall positive experience as we had a car and had no trouble going around.
Good value for motorists
Hotel is very good, clean and spacious. Its location - off center - means that you have to have a car.
Staff could be more helpful, breakfast quite simple. Overall is good hotel for limited budget.
It is a very neat hotel near by Sienna, like a best western and good if you are on a budget.
Modern Stylish but out of town
Nice hotel, stylish modern Business Hotel- but is 2km out of town. Not too bad as you can take a bus in easily- and is about €10 for a taxi ride. Larger rooms, but a little cold at times as heating seems to be set. Beds are comfortable but there are ony sheets and thin blankets no duvet, so we were a bit cold. Breakfast is good, but service in dining hall a bit lacking as they focused more on groups and didn't pay too much attention to a couple. Front desk staff were great. Neighborhood is a bit tired, and not the romantic Tuscany you would hope for. Maybe skip Siena for other towns.
Great Hotel - Location Not So Convenient but ok with bus service
The hotel is very good and the description provided is accurate except for the location. The lobby is huge with two great back lit alabaster stone walls that are worth a picture. LOCATION: The hotel is located a few km from town center and there is nothing to do or see around the hotel. It is not withing walking distance of the town center and you must take a bus. Also, have bus tickets as our driver would not sell us tickets on the bus, but after searching out a store that sold us bus tickets, we boarded a bus about 30 minutes later and found that driver readily sold tickets to two tourists, so we just got an unfriendly and unhelpful bus driver. ROOM: We found the room to be very clean, comfortable and modern and certainly up to a 4 star standard. We were entirely satisfied with the room. The breakfast was very good with a wide choice of food to choose from. The dining room was also very good, with the food being reasonably priced for a hotel (just over 40 Euros with a decent bottle of wine) however the service was rather slow because of a large tour group staying and eating at the hotel at the same time we were in the dining room. The dining room staff were working very hard to keep up with all the people in the room and this was probably an unusually busy time. We didn't have plans to go out again as it was raining so we just enjoyed our wine while waiting. I should add, that initially we tried to drive into town to eat at a small family type restaurant, however getting from the hotel to "Centro" was not easy and it seemed we were going in circles. Traffic was very heavy on a weekend night and even with a GPS could not manage to listen to the poor English pronunciation of Italian street names, in the rain and heavy traffic so turned back to the hotel for dinner which was not a disappointment.
too short to be significant. Hotel location not central, good for hospital but far from city center.Acustic isolation of rooms can be better
Lovely hotel, friendly staff
Had a great stay, was a but of a walk into Siena but it was a nice walk. Friendly staff.
Beautifu hotel with large clean rooms. Wonderfu breakfast---one of the few hotels that still charge for wi-fi----no English T.V. stations Hotel controls room temperature and it was warm. lots of free parking space

Hotel was great for a quick stop through our EU trip. We had three rooms and the staff was great! We enjoyed food and drinks for the bar and everything was delicious! They even have a 24hr sauna which is nice after traveling all day! Beautiful area, wish we had more time here! The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had the whole trip and included in stay!
