Loved the shower. Very clean room!
Very nice and clean hotel. Excellent customer service. Amazing Breakfast and Location! Will definitely stay again
Stayed here for a short stay (3 days). Location was close to Bryant Park & Times Square. Close to a laundromat too if you want to get your clothes clean while traveling.
The staff was great and the room with nice and comfortable
Great location!
Good location, room clean but basic. Hotel is tired and is ready for a revamp!
Excellent front desk assistant. She was very helpful
Hotel was spacious and central to Times Square, staff were ok and room was tired and dark looking but it suited our trip and we didnt spend much time in the room - overall average
Overall it was a good week and a good hotel
Great stay, convenient location and appropriate size rooms.
The room was clean and fairly large. It is close to Times Square, but not as noisy. The staff was very accommodating!
The location was perfect and everything in. The room was fine good staff!! Smaller than im used too but thats because of the location!!!
Not sure what was happening on my floor but every few minutes a door would slam so loud it shook the room. Tough to go to sleep in that enviornment. Its a shame because overall everything else was pretty good. But sleep enviornment might be the most important feature for me in an hotel.
Decent option and price for the location.
Very old building and dirty neighborhood!!I was shocked when I got there from CA…..
Great
Very spacious bathtub, comfortable bed, adjustable room temp
Very good
Gross. This hotel is gross. From the nasty pillows to the mildew smelling cabinets to the 100 year old towels.
Very dirty. Room view so bad. Never come again.
Good service and rooms. Closer for some activities!
El hotel muy limpio y los del Staff muy amables y serviciales..Volveria sin duda otra vez.. Hermosa estadia.. ♥️
Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.
Great Stay! My go to for last minute travel
Great location, and good staff!
The place only had 3 elevators and one of them was mainly being used by staff. The elevator that was being used by the staff had a rack of towels in which only a few people were able to get on. The room was too humid in which the beds felt wet. The toilet barely had any pressure. Staff did not care about putting luggage away anyone could've walked off with it. I noticed someone had an issue where their luggage was missing.
Great location to stay at but needs some TLC
Great location to Times Square and the Port Authority if you take the bus into the city. The front desk service was excellent and because I’m a Marriot Bon Voy reward member I was able to check in early with no charge. The condition of the actual room was good but the bathroom needed some TLC. I stayed for 3 nights and the second day when housekeeping came, the hand soap was taken out of the room and they didn’t restock towels or coffee. I’d recommend staying here however some things need updating.
Love love LOVE the location. Literally a short walk to time square. The rooms were nicer than I expected. I didn’t op for the breakfast but it did smell really good. The front desk staff and housekeeping were very nice. I would definitely re book!
Great location, friendly staff.
Close to the center of the city.
Accomodating, friendly and welcoming stafg
Very clean and very nice place!
Great location. Good staff. Clean rooms!
Too crowded
Very accommodating staff. Good location. Walkable to Amtrak station.
Great location.
Front desk staff is nice and friendly. The room is smaller than expected but it is clean. The subway is 3 min walking. Wonderful location! Some homeless people are wandering around near 8 Ave & 40th st corner.
The reviews are consistent with what we experienced: great customer service, especially Sam at the bar. We stayed on a standard King; quite small with little room to move around. Bathroom small with very little space to place personal items. Great location- easy to walk to many NYC highlights; neighborhood seems safe .We didn’t make use of the onsite “dining” which is a very small area tucked away behind the lobby elevators. We agreed that the service and location are definitely the stand out features but we would probably seek a different property next time just because of the size of rooms and while clean, they are in need of updating and general repairs .
.
Great staff especially Kevin and Gianfranco at the front desk, ALL staff had a warm sincere greeting, room clean , comfortable bedding but room worn, cramped and older slow elevators. Conveniently located only if frequenting Venus in the immediate area.
Could improve
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, making it super convenient to explore all the main attractions. The hotel itself is well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere and great service. The rooms were comfortable and clean, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this hotel is the perfect spot. Highly recommend it!
This was the perfect location for our trip to NY. Close to Times Square and Broadway shows. The hotel was clean. The room was a good size for NY. The beds were comfy especially after a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely go back.
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a decent experience. The staff was excellent—friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. The location is very convenient, especially if you're planning to explore NYC. It’s just a short walk from Port Authority, several subway stations, and Times Square, making it highly walkable and well-connected. That said, be aware that the area around Port Authority can feel a bit shady at night. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to keep in mind if you're walking back late. As for the room itself, it was extremely small, with very limited space to move around. I was on the 7th floor and unfortunately, the view was quite poor. The layout could use some improvement—particularly the placement of mirrors, which wasn’t very practical. The bed was comfortable, but again, space was tight. The lighting in the room could be improved. If you're looking for a well-located hotel and don’t mind compact rooms, this could be a good choice. Just manage your expectations when it comes to room size and views.
The door was very screechy one socket wasnt even working. Could not sleep as we can never close the bathroom door. If closed completely it screeches so bad that we wake up to huge noise. Felt very uncomfortable as I cannot close the bathroom door at any time. Either shower or washroom.
Great proximity to time square. Very clean and great showers!
Staff was great!
Thank you for your hospitality. My partner and I enjoyed our stay at your hotel.
The hotel worked quite well for us: very central location for a reasonable reasonable price. You can find everything nearby. The bus station is across the street and there is a great rooftop practically next door, Dear Irving, which we enjoyed on a rainy night; reservations recommended. We walked to the hotel from Penn Station and the next day walked to Hudson Yards. There a subway station two blocks away. The rooms are on the small side; ours was OK for two people. The toiletries were good quality, with generous pumps, and the room had all the basics. My only complaint is that my towel came with long dark hair from a previous guest, which was quite unpleasant to discover. Nevertheless, I would return.
It was time Square I didn’t expect it to me clean… but the hotel itself was impeccable no dirt at all and the staff was available 24/7. Nicole at the front desk was the best!!
Pictures on Expedia is not what you get in real life. Rooms are small and cramped equipped with outdated appliances and fixtures
It’s just ok
Very nice and cozy rooms. We got 29th floor, so the view was good also.
The staff were amazing and very helpful, housekeeping was very nice, location was central to all things tourist. I would definitely return again.
The staff are so helpful.
Located just off busy Broadway and Times Square, it’s a convenient spot close to dining and shopping options. The rooms have dated facilities but generally well kept and old New York charm. Pleasant front desk staff!
excellent
Understaffed
Request to have room close to other party I traveled with was not accommodated. Many floors away. Granddaughter had heart surgery, should have been closer.
Very Nice
It was nice bathroom a little small but nice
Kevin in the reception is very helpful and accomodating. Same as Chloe. Kudos!
It's an excellent location to stay in Manhattan. I'll come back
Times Square is within walking distance. Staff were very nice and went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and safe.
Wondering property and staff
First time staying at this hotel and it was an incredible experience. Check in was very easy and quick. Despite their being a large group of children on a school trip in the lobby. The staff were very attentive and helped us check in very efficiently. We paid for the extra for the breakfast buffet. Well worth it! The waiting staff again were very attentive and helpful. One of our last days there I got bit of the cold through no fault of the hotel but the staff were accommodating and offered that the chef prepare a specific dish for me. Great service! The breakfast was the same everyday. Eggs, waffles, fruit, coffee, juices, cereal, bacon, sausages, bread. Something for everyone! Helped us save a lot of money filling up with the breakfast than dining out everyday! Very tasty and always plenty of food available. The rooms were great. The staff happily prepared a nice happy Birthday surprise for my wife during our stay. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning was great. Bathroom and shower was great! Very clean! Great water pressure and warm water which was fantastic after a long cold February day in New York! Housekeeping staff were fantastic! Always provided fresh towels and prepared the room for us everyday! Very happy and huge credit to them! Very reasonably priced hotel! Close to everything! Subway stop at the end of the street. Walking distance from Times Square, Penn Station, restaurants, shopping and coffee shops! My wife and I would happily return here again!
A lucky find for a quick overnight in the city.
Everything was fine, good price. The best thing, and I always appreciate this, was your staff. Everyone was super kind and very helpful. That’s so much more important than anything else!!!!
No
Staff were good.
Location was convenient.
Placement of my room at quiet end of floor near elevators was incredibly helpful in lught of my disability. Staff was exceptionally helpful.
A microwave would’ve been a great add on and more room lighting
Disappointed
Room was incredibly small and tight. Metal an shower rack was peeling and sharp. Shower pan paint was peeling and looked like urine. The caulking around the floorboards door jams looked moldy.
Great location, near everything you want to do.
Good value
That was the second time we stayed at Four Points. The staff were friendly and welcoming, we even got a upgrade to a suits. Thank you.
Good touristy location. Clean hotel and very nice staff.
Staff were great, room was clean, but the neighborhood is a little sketchy. If you don’t care about garbage littered along the street and piles of garbage bags three feet high, then it’s a good hotel.
Decent
Basic hotel - excellent location - very clean - quiet - lovely staff.
Decent stay only if you can get an affordable rate
Good value and location, at an off-peak rate of $85 per night. Decent sized room but amenities are motel-quality, the lounge/lobby was small and not comfortable to sit in, and the bed and pillows were motel quality and uncomfortable. Would only stay here at a rate of less than $140 per night.
Not a bad stay but the walls are very thin and when the doors close they all slam which can be heard from the room throughout the hallway.
The hotel is really close to time square!
New York, New York ❤️
I would book this hotel again. I love the amount of rooms that's on the floor. Did not have to walk a country mile to get to the room. For security purposes you have to used your key card to used the elevator. I loved that. The room was small, but what do you expect when it's New York. We made it work for 3 people and 6 pieces of lugguage. The bathroom was very small. Enough to fit one person. The rooms were very quiet. The staff were phenomenal. If we needed anything they were there. No complaints at all. When you leave the hotel to go out you are in the heart of Time Square. Everything is walking distance. You can call for a Uber/ Lyft. When I come back I will be staying again.
Had a wonderful stay. Hotel was in a perfect area. Close to everything.
I booked this hotel because of the reviews. AND yes it was clean staff friendly and welcoming. And easy walking distance to everything. Would definitely book here again!!
This is my third time staying at this hotel it’s very good hotel with the best location!
Everything was excellent:)
This was the perfect place to stay at. I got a good deal and it was perfect walking distance from everything I needed to do. The staff were amazing and the room was nice. Only problem I had was if the water was too hot it would turn brown. Other than that I would definitely stay here again.
Great location. Friendly staff. Clean and vomfortable
Staff is excellent
My shower head didn’t work properly, my key pad didn’t work properly . Stairwell was dirty and with trash
Staff was very really easy to work with and helpful. Would stay here again
Super location. Ideal place for tourists. Super stuff. Clean. Ok
Let me check in early before my 2 pm play
Peaceful
Nicole at the front desk was beyond amazing and went above and beyond for my wife and me
