Easy check-in and close to the Walmart, gas, and other restaurants for fast food and the highway. The beds a bit soft , but otherwise good facility at a reasonable price.

The hotel is nice and clean. It smells great as soon as you walk in. Staff are courteous. Location is quiet but located right near ammenities

The rooms were nice and spacious (2 full size beds) the Hotel was clean and nice. My friends and I will stay here again.

Me and my children got stuck on elevator and afterwards the manager tried to kick us out line it was our fault we got stuck and during breakfast my daughter ate undercooked pancakes threw up a bunch of pancake batter and whip cream

The property was nice and clean, newer building. Located behind gas station and fast food. Near highway for ease of finding. Room was nice and had cute barn door for bathroom but no lock on door and you can hear everything.

Not much for restaurants in walking distance.

Best Hotel in Albany

Wonderful hotel - probably the nicest one we've stayed at in Albany. Very helpful friendly staff. Great bed. Slept like a baby through the night.

Property gave me a room not booked for and hotel is around an unsafe area someone showed a w**pon at gas station right around the corner from property.

Nice new hotel. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Only negative is the lack of a continental breakfast. The menu prices for dining there were too pricey.

The body cleanser in shower was empty. There was hair on floor in bathroom. I liked that there was a pool and location.

The hotel was super clean and the staffs were respectful and helpful. But there is nothing aorund there area that is walk distance, beside a gas station and Dunkin donut.

Very convenient right off the highway, fast food restaurants made it easy to grad a bite. Hotel restaurant made it easy to grab a good breakfast and sit comfortably. We would recommend.

We only spent 1 night, however I can say that the reception employee was pleasant and efficient. The hotel and room was very clean. The room was very comfortable and my son enjoyed the large screen TV. I would definately visit again.

Amazing

I was disappointed. We had reservations for months and when we arrived, they told us we had been bumped and that we had to go to another hotel that was 20 minutes away. The only explanation was that a priority customer had requested a room and their policy is to accommodate those guests.

They canceled the reservation I'd had for months at the last minute.

I didn’t like that the bar and kitchen do not take cash. Not a fan of on room accounts and credit cards only.

Not worth the $180 as the water in shower & sink were of hot & hotter temps so had to move to another room which then made it too late to get a shower & make our event on time. Decided to have breakfast in morning & our order was incorrect...

There was a bar within the hotel, and anything else that you could think of. There was plenty of C stores around just walking distance. One thing i didnt like was almost getting stuck on the elevator.

A notch above most right off the highway hotels. Immaculate, great bed and beddings and also a bar and breakfast made to order.

The Sheraton Four Points by Marriott was a welcoming, wonderful respite on the road from Montreal to Philadelphia. The accommodations were clean and well-appointed with a gracious staff and a really delicious breakfast. I recommend the omelets! We enjoyed hanging out in the sitting area by the bar and had the best martini made by martini maestro Andrew who was the bartender on a Friday night - a real professional! A great stay!

Got wrongfully charged for breakfast. Requested a receipt and they were not able to provide me with one. I chose a hotel with a pool for my daughter for her bday, pool was out of service for our stay.

Great Hotel

Very accommodating and welcoming staff. Well situated for ease of access to sights such as New York State Museum and USS Slater. Limited dining options around the hotel. However, hotel restaurant was very good.

Clean and comfortable

I stayed one night. The issue I had was that I booked a king bed and got 2 queen beds. They offered aquafina water in the room which is the worst water to offer but at least they offered something I guess. The shower was old and the nozzle didn't really produce a lot of water. I had to check out early so there wasn't anyone at the desk. The note said I would get an email with the receipt but I still haven't received it. I didn't get to check out the rest of the hotel features.

Booked this hotel through Expedia and prepaid, got to the hotel at 1am and was told it was over booked and nothing could be done for me.

Worst sleep experience from noisy AC unit

Our sleep quality at the Four Points by Sheraton in Albany was the worst we have experienced in a hotel during many years of travel. We awoke at 2:30 am due to a loud rattling air conditioning unit. After several failed attempts at adjustments, we attempted to turn it off, and the unit began humming loudly and emitting a chemical smell. We called for service by phone and the line was repeatedly busy. The next morning I attempted again to notify hotel service of the problem, but the line was again busy. I then personally requested to speak with a manager at the front desk. The employee kindly indicted that the manager was not in yet, but wrote down my information and said the manager would call me that day. Three days later, I have not heard back. I called again this afternoon to try and speak with a manager about our poor experience. I was routed to a manager’s voicemail and left a message requesting a call back, but have not yet received a call. We are highly disappointed that we were placed in a room with a faulty AC unit. I am more disillusioned with my experience of the management, who seem either incompetent to manage the operations of the hotel, or they are disinterested in the experience of their own customers. The hotel itself was otherwise nicely furnished and very clean, and the restaurant breakfast was lovely, so this is quite unfortunate for what could otherwise be a good place to stay in Albany. Though based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

We took a last-minute trip to upstate New York and needed a place to stay overnight halfway. Four Points Sheraton was the place! Very friendly woman at the front desk greeted us when we arrived at 11:15 PM. The room was clean. We were up and out super early the next morning so we didn’t experience any of the amenities. Would highly recommend, especially for people on a long road trip, needing to stay overnight.

It is very odd that the water only get Luke warm in the shower

Hotel seems to be new or newly renovated. Clean and comfortable. Nice shower. Overall very good value for the price (paid ~$160/night).

New hotel close to freeway

Fantastic hotel close to freeway and lots to do. Hotel is very new but bar is a bit pricey. Some issues guests were having at check in but mine was fine. Rooms large bright and very comfortable.

Luxury stay!!!

This hotel is Marvelous, the front Desk, Brandon is very friendly and helpful with checkin and information about the location. This hotel is at a prime location ,they have restaurants and shops infront (nail shop)of the hotel. The room was very clean and hotel staffs was available to assist me with extra items for my room. While checking out Remy, she was very sweet and helpful to inform me that check out is at 1200, not 1100 as im used too. I went to get my nails done before my significant other stayed in bed to rest more before our drive back to Washington State. This hotel was a very great picked from my significant other before leaving the Eastcoast. They have a restaurant great and friendly staff, but the cost of the food wasn't in the price range. I would pay for. Ex: bagel and cheese $4.00 . For the convenience for those are in a rush. However we chose to go eat breakfast that was more fulfilling and at a good cost. If you are traveling for luxury this the hotel to book!

I want to give 5 stars for the Staff but 2 stars for the cleaning person who didnt clean the bathroom only picked up old towels and gave a new set. There was the same stain on the sink and floor. My bed was half made up and the table wasnt cleaned. Otherwise the staff I saw was EXCELLENT especially the bartender that was there 5/22 and 5/23. My check-in and check out staff was great very accommodating. Just please have someone properly clean the rooms, it makes a persons day better coming back from a 9-10 hr work conference.

Complimentary breakfast would make our stay outstanding. Friendly staff and free parking was a plus.

Great location just off the highway.

I purposely booked this hotel because they had a bar and restaurant and breakfast in the morning. The bar and restaurant was closed they said because of a power outage and then there was no sit down breakfast in the morning because someone called in sick so that was a little bit disappointing. But the staff was very very awesome

Great location - just off the highway and close to downtown. Todd at the front desk is fantastic!

This hotel was special because of the friendliness and warmth of the staff. The front desk people were welcoming and helpful from the start. The woman who served us breakfast and housekeeping staff were all very pleasant. Everyone seemed pleased to see us. We were in Albany for a sad family occasion and the gracious hospitality of Four Points by Sheraton was much appreciated.

I was pleased with my stay. I noted to my family that if I’m in need in that area again I would definitely choose this hotel again. The beds were comfortable and in general the room was pretty clean. The common spaces look new and clean as do the halls and room carpet.

We found this property right off the highway which was very convenient

The bed was comfortable, but there was still somebody else’s trash in the trash cans. There were spots of water on the wall next to the shower. There was unknown substance behind toilet on the floor. The breakfast was over priced and the staff had no clue how to make the most simple things. I ordered eggs Benedict and they didn’t even know what hollandaise sauce was, they ended up giving me an English muffin with an egg and a piece of bacon. When I brought this to the attention of management , they said the people were new, and that they were too busy.
