Perfect ! Great communication, good breakfast and cozy room

I enjoyed my stay at Felix d’ort. It is an adorable b&b close-ish to the main gare in Lyon. I was able to walk to and from the station with a heavy rolling bag. The room was clean and had its own bathroom. I slept 14 hours so I think that says something about how quiet/safe it felt to me since I was traveling alone. It got a bit chilly at night but I just added on some layers and slept fine. Highly recommend if you prefer a b&b experience to a hotel!

Great stay in Lyon as a group of friends on tour for the Rugby World Cup. The host and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly . Definitely not a corporate hotel but somewhere quirky that’s a refreshing change from most hotels . Great location and parking made it just perfect for us . Thanks

Not at all what we expected

Just simply not a good place to stay. Where to start? The room: Rickety junk furniture; the tiny table so unstable that putting a glass on it was risky. Rough toilet paper. No control of heat available. Bathroom sink in such a narrow space that I literally could not get my shoulders in it to wash my face. No closet at all. I could go on and on. Staff was nowhere to be found, even during their supposed welcoming hours; owner was on holiday and we discovered that a woman who was a hired employee was there but had never come to us nor even greeted us when we saw her.. she was busy with her friends! And it turned out she was Ukrainian and didn't speak either English or hardly any French! Location is poor: A residential neighborhood with virtually no decent restaurants around it.

Very convenient and comfortable place

Only 16 minutes walk from the station, yet very quiet and near some good restaurants. Good breakfast!

Great stay on the hottest day of the year

Very nice small B&B rooms where clean and tidy and the breakfast was well prepared. Would definitely recommend staying here as I will next time I'm in Lyon. I only have 2 very small suggestions, the first is with Hotels.com and the listing there is NOT an airport shuttle as listed which to be honest you would not expect from a small B&B. The second and this is a very small thing. As there is no restaurant on site perhaps some tea and coffee making facilities in the breakfast room would be nice to enable guests to make themselves a hot drink during the day and before bed.

Close to old town

This was the closest place to the train station but it was still a long enough walk with suitcases and over 24 hours of travel time. The room was clean but the bathroom sink area was very tight. The shower leaked all over the floor making it rather slippery. Wifi was great. The breakfast was included and was OK. Missed that there were no hard boiled eggs. Good location to old town

Great B&B.

Charming old building in a convenient location. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The host was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again on a visit to Lyon.

Comfortable stay

The place is small, yet lovely. I believe 6 rooms only, and mine has two twins. My son and I both liked our stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Many pictures and furniture are originals, captivating. Continental breakfast is fresh and sufficient, and the second cup coffee is encouraged.

Nice B&B

Staying here was a good experience, as we don't usually stay in B&B accommodation. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and made sure we knew how to access the property, and gave us breakfast details, and also some restaurant names of good places to eat. Breakfast was really good, with a choice of food. It was buffet style, in a little kitchen & conservatory area. He sent us an email prior with the codes for the gate, but only on the morning of our arrival. We didn't check emails that morning, so had to ring to find out how to get in, which was OK. We had arrived earlie than check-in time, but could access our room then. The subway station was not too far away, so we could get to the centre easily. There were no English channels available on the TV, and it froze a couple of times, so we didn't bother too much with watching anything.

Clean, nicely decorated and well organized!

Check in system allows entry based on the travelers needs. Room was thoughtfully decorated and very clean. Owner provided recommendation for nice restaurant nearby. Easy to walk to the Gare Part Dieu where I was able to take a train directly to CDG in Paris. Only a two hour ride!

Very quirky, and comfortable

Delightful experience, the host was very helpful and informative. Nice to be able to use the frig and make a cup of tea. Another guest told us how fabulous the breakfast was, but, unfortunately because of our early train, we couldn't partake. Hot shower and very comfortable bed.

Good for the price

The hotel is ok but not great. It is in a residential area so lacks some neighborhood amenities. It looks a little run-down on its exterior but it is clean and neat inside. It is a distance to many things but very close to subway which is easy to use.

Great B&B

I enjoyed my stay at Felix Dort - everything was easy - getting in and out, breakfast, grocery store one block away, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. If you are in that part of the city and want to avoid a big hotel, this is a great option.

Happy experience in Lyon

Our stay was really enjoyable made even more so by our Cinma Room and our really welcoming host. Corian. We would strongly recommend a stay here.

Etablissement difficile à trouver mais ce n'est vraiment pas du fait de ceux qui le tiennent ! Partout des travaux de voirie dans cette partie de LYON... Sur place, l'accueil est chaleureux et plus qu'aimable (Merci CORIN !) ; les informations sur l'hébergement sont claires, précises et détaillées (Merci CORIN !) ; notre chambre nous est indiquée et on nous y conduit avec un grand sourire (Merci CORIN !) et là nous découvrons la pièce dite "Cinéma" décorée avec goût... BRAVO ! C'est original voire surprenant ; on se croirait effectivement dans un "décor" existant du temps du cinématographe des Frères Lumière ! Grosse surprise : le lit, au centre de la pièce, est circulaire et grand ravissement pour moi : la chambre dispose d'un "bureau", d'un VRAI ! La salle de bain est équipée d'une baignoire métallique, de celles qui se faisaient jadis (fin du 19e probablement) ; elle est de couleur blanche mais, pour nous, elle constitue tout de même un petit ... "point noir" car le bord n'est pas facile à enjamber... Petit déjeuner du matin : format "self-service" ! L'hôte nous a préparé tout ce qu'il faut pour nous restaurer... Rencontre d'un couple de touristes belges qui, eux, occupent la chambre "Guignol"... Ils sont ravis ! Notre paiement se fait en partant ; Corin est toujours aussi souriant et aimable... Seule déconvenue : le prix du "parking" pour notre petite voiture (20.00€...) Mais bon... Cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir...

Indiqué parking disponible mais en arrivant on apprend que c'est 20€ la nuit... Un lit rond au millieu de la pièce...faut aimer Pas de lait chaud....bon Et au moment de partir le monsieur m'interpelle sur le pas de la porte pour me dire que JE N'AURAIS PAS PAYÉ. La blague. Pour après vérification me dire : ah oui il manque juste les 88 centimes de taxe de séjour. Monsieur, avant d'accuser les clients de vol : ON VÉRIFIE Eu égard à votre handicape je n'ai pas fait de scandale, mais c'est le genre de chose que je n'accepte pas. 44ans me soupçonner de partir sans payer ma chambre...non mais pour qui ça se prend

こぢんまりとしたホテルでした。 看板が小さくわかりにくかった。 しかし、対応は、とても良く、朝食も満足でした。

Accueil chaleureux, chambre spacieuse, bonne literie, proximité a 5mn a pieds pour le métro et a 4 stations du vieux Lyon. Vu que l’établissement est classé, il n'y a pas de climatisation dans les chambres ce qui peut être très gênant selon les températures.

リヨン市内の観光のだ、Cinema roomに2泊しました。古めの建物ですが、ホテルとはまた違った趣きを感じることができました。 また、こちらの1番の魅力はやはりオーナーのCorinさんでしょう。他の口コミで上がっているように、彼はとても親切かつフレンドリーて、チャーミングな方でした。 事前に気をつけることがあるとすれば、浴室はカーテンなど仕切りがないバスタブでシャワーを浴びるタイプなので、日本人には慣れていないかもしれません。浴室内用のスリッパなどあると良いと思います。 また、エアコンがついてないので、真夏で気温が上がる際には少し心配です。窓を開けてファンを回していればある程度快適にはなりますが、夏場は確認しておく方がよいでしょう。 ただ、総じてよい宿泊体験ができました。リヨンに来る際は素敵なオーナーに再会するため、再訪を検討したいです。

Ett litet och väldigt trevligt hotell! Bra service och god frukost. Alla rum hade olika tema och var trevligt inredda, vi bodde i ett rum med filmtema.

Bon rapport qualité prix

Chambre coquette dans maison de charme. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Petit bémol, le petit-déjeuner qui est préparé d'avance en fonction de l'heure donnée ce qui fait que le café n'est pas assez chaud et 1 seule tasse.

Hyggelig og ganske annerledes i en gammel bygård. Men komplisert å komme inn med flere kodelåser. Greit rom og god frokost.

Auf der Fahrt nach Südfrankreich haben wir hier einen Zwischenstopp mit Übernachtung eingelegt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen das entsprechende gebuchte Zimmer (ist ja nicht immer selbstverständlich). Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und etwa 5-6 Minuten von der Metro entfernt, so konnten wir uns noch ein bisschen in der Stadt umsehen. Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend in der näheren Umgebung vom Hotel.Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war klasse und so konnten wir gestärkt weiterfahren. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

Chambre de charme, au calme, très bon petit déjeuner, très bon accueil. On peut même arriver tard le soir ( on nous donne tous les codes pour rentrer).

Hotel ou chambre d'hote?

Petit hotel tres bien situe, a quelques minutes a pieds de l'Universite Lyon III et autres bureaux (la gare Lyon Part Dieu n'est pas loin non plus).
