Unique experience at a working farm. Especiallly good if you have young children.
I didn’t wanna leave
Honestly as soon as I got there I knew I had made a good choice. Then I stepped into the cabin and knew I had made an excellent choice. It’s by far the cleanest place Ive stayed. I went looking for peace and quiet and I got just that. It’s silent, it’s beautiful, it’s private. Even though it’s deep winter I still got to hang in the barn, feed the animals, go on quiet hikes. The animals are extremely friendly, they’re are used to people and enjoy being petted. There’s this super nice lady who cares for the animals and she’s so attentive and friendly. 11/10. Can’t wait to be back.
Excellent. It had everything we needed
Well worth the trip.
This was a wonderful one night stay as part of our leaf peeping trip to Vermont from the UK. One thing to be aware of is that GPS/satnav is really bad in this area. Make sure you take printed written instructions of how to find them. The cabin is absolutely lovely. It’s really well equipped, especially the kitchen which has good quality knives, saucepans, frying pans, etc important if you’re going to be doing your own cooking. Lovely little touches of leaving a couple of home-made scones and some fresh eggs for us. The view from the cabin is absolutely gorgeous. The bed is really comfortable, the linen is high quality and we were just sorry that we only stayed one night. Highly recommended.
