Not enjoyable at all

Receptionist was very rude when we got there he kept calling the room because we had bicycles (that are very well cleaned) in the room and tried to charge us a $100 cash deposit that we wouldn’t be getting back which is sketchy in its self.

Our stay was fine, and despite us being right next to the highway, we slept pretty well.

Homeless camping under hotel stairs, begging guests for money. Roaches on walls

The sheets was stained, the sofa in the room was very nasty, the room smelled. The older Indian man was rude. No iron in the room. Because I would not gotten a refund is the only reason I didn't go to another hotel.

The bathroom handlecame off. It had been repaired before, but not repair it properly. I was using a towel to wipe off my windshield and one of the male workers told me I could not use a towel to wipe my windshield.

The staff was very kind and helpful. They assisted us with our special request at a moments notice. The room was VERY CLEAN AND AC WAS COLD!! We would recommend this place to anyone needing a great place to stay.

It was the last room they had available and when I got into the room, it was about 80° in there. It was almost 90 outside. I adjusted the air conditioner to lower the temperature and it did not work. It blew out air but not cool air. I called the front desk and said it didn’t work and he told me that it did. I said the fact that it runs doesn’t mean that it is working and he said the air conditioner runs. He was extremely rude. When I left this morning, I talked to the other person at the front desk and he was just as rude. I’m on the road 26 weeks a year and stay in or near Houston each time. I don’t know how this place was ranked with 8.4 stars because I didn’t see it. Never again.

Very clean, Made it easy to sleep comfortable. The few times that I’ve stayed here, my A/C was already on upon arrival, which was a crazy huge convenience considering Houston heat and humidity. I liked that I didn’t see any pest or rodents, felt at ease going to get take out and eating back in my room.

The air conditioner stayed on between 74-76 degrees, so the room waa hot and muggy.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Hole in the wall. Air condition didn’t work properly

Cheap and nice, beds and pillows were comfortable. The only dislike was the parking, but that wasn't a deal breaker. Nicely remodeled room updated furnishings and overall very comfortable

The room reeked of weed and just overall depressing, dirty looking and old. Only stayed a total of 5 minutes before I left to get another hotel somewhere else.

There no breakfast poorly stocked had to ask for ironing board. No juice or coffee

This property advertises on their website, and through Expedia, that they provide complimentary breakfast and that there is coffee and juice in the lobby. There is NO breakfast and there is NO coffee. The manager rudely barked at me when I asked about it during my stay. I would not have chosen this property had I known beforehand.

Big yellow stain in middle of fitted sheet Bathroom floor had several drops of something missed when cleaned - floor and tub felt sticky -staff was notified the next morning and nothing happened. Room and hotel are too close to I-45 - too loud. Exterior lights off when I arrived and I missed it. Had to circle around the block and try again. Next day - owner/mgr did remedy the sheet and TV problem - he was out of town on vacation

The room was roomy and had a nice layout. The A/C worked well.

it was great , clean and comfortable. I had a smoking room and it did NOT stink nor have burn holes . Towels were clean , sheets were clean Will stay again and refer friends .

Unpleasant

The room had a unpleasant odor upon arrival. The loveseat appeared to have semen stains on the arm and cushion. If these two things were better and parking spaces in front of each room was for the room number I would have enjoyed my stay.

No breakfast even though advertised on their website. No alarm clock, very noisy location next to interstate, room definitely not soundproofed as advertised, bed was mattress on a metal frame, no box spring, cold wind blowing through cracks in door as well as light shining through. Staff didn't seem thankful for business.

Vinyl floor was dirty. Pillows were horrible to sleep on. The freeway noise was very loud and not a safe area

Checkin was smooth, room was loud. Noises from all directions. You could hear the interstate like you were sleeping on it.. rooms are not sound proof.. didn’t get much sleep.

Receptionist persona was less than neutral.

We called the front desk to ask the checkout time and they told us we simply did not have one. Because of this, we just stayed in bed until 11:30 came around and he knocked on our door and basically yelled at us that we needed to leave

Easy check in. They gave me a non smoking room even tho I may have selected a smoking room by mistake

It was very hot and muggy at night and I found a roach in the tub.

The lights were flashing. The faucets were clogged. The parking lot was too small

The rooms are disgusting!!! They own the same room across the way the redroof inn and those are even worse !!! They don’t care to accommodate their customers! They are just simply foul and nasty ! The sheets have stains and crumbs all in it. they don’t clean their hourly rooms !!!!! Because the cleaning staff goes home after 2 !! The head board always has hand prints on it. Floor always dirty. Even the towels have stains very disgusting

We came from out of town to stay for a couple of days for a dance intensive. The website said the hotel would have free breakfast and it didn’t. That was very disappointing. When we arrived there was a questionable lady walking around the facilities, she pacing in and out of the premises. That made us worry for our safety. The bathroom door would not close completely, it would stay ajar no matter how hard we tried closing the door. The walls were thin, we could hear conversations held outside our hotel room or in the next room.

Poor place

It was had to get to,no coffee anywhere on premises. Curtens keep open ,had to call office from my cell to fix tv that would not come on,phone in room did not work.

Not enough parking and very tight for a full size long bed truck. The wall is in the way

I was pleasantly surprised by the place. For the price I expected way less. The room was clean and updated. Could use a better mattress but overall was okay too. I suggest they serve coffee in the morning I had hell finding some at 4am but the Starbucks nearby opened at 5. I would not only stay here again I'd do it repeatedly.

False advertising as mentioned breakfast but none available. Front desk staff VERY rude. Hung up the phone each time I called. Can't be bothered to do anything extra to make stay more comfortable. No towels for one to use after a shower and when asked for one was told that none was available and they hung up the phone on me!! Not kid friendly at all. A lot of false advertising about the amenities available here. Will never come back here and won't recommend it.

Pleasant Experience

The stay was pleasant and we could see why they got good ratings. However the parking situation could be better and at least one space should be designated for a room. Also. There no iron or iron board available. This is is a huge inconvenience.

The cost was reasonable but I guess you get what you pay for. When we walked into our assigned room, there was someone's shower cap and used towels in the bathroom. So we weren't sure if the room as a whole had actually been cleaned thoroughly. We stayed for 4 nights and housekeeping did not come to our room until the day before check out. While packing uo, we noticed 4 items missing from our belongings, 3 bracelets and a watch. We found it odd that our things went missing after the ONE day housekeeping came by. When we brought it to the front desk staff, who are also the owners, the lady who was there had a very nasty attitude. She was not listening to what I had to say and kept cutting me off saying "my housekeeper didn't touch your stuff" over and over. The items stolen cost more than their nightly rate, and about half of what we paid to stay there!

Nice but uncomfortable bed

It was clean and nice, bed was way to stuff for me and the partner to enjoy.

I will never stay here again I did not stay the whole time because they have bed bugs and roaches

My overall experience was okay. The only thing I would recommend is changing the sheets for stays longer than a day.

The toilet paper felt like sand paper (and I’m not even picky about toilet paper) and there was no coffee anywhere. No coffee maker in the room and no coffee in the lobby. The bed wasn’t very comfy either. I wouldn’t stay here again if I had to stay more than one night.

Masks are recommended not required. The way it should be here in America 🇺🇸 Also the building is new so it’s still in good shape

The room was clean and had an refrigerator and microwave everything worked great lots of lights that I love so I can see what I’m doing. The bed was firm . I slept well. No food service or machines and no morning coffee. You have to push the call button at the desk for them to come and Register you in or out.

The hotel is difficult to find due to being located right at a loop overpass on I-45. I had to wait 20 minutes upon arrival until someone walked over from a neighboring hotel. The room was clean but smelled as though it had been a smoking room converted into a non-smoking room. Overall, it was good for the price.

The place’s perfect for 1 night at a time. Lousy water pressure, no premium movie channels, but the place was immaculate.

This location is close to the freeway and restaurants.

Clean, nice room at an affordable price. They fortunately allowed me a late checkout for an additional cash fee of $10 per hour which was greatly appreciated due to me oversleeping!

The property was clean I was a little worried because it was by other hotels that didn't look as well kept. It was a good stay the air conditioning in the room wasn't as high as I would of liked it to have been. The hotel managers was nice because I did have to switch rooms. Our stay at Express Inn was very good. It is a very convenient place a lot of shopping within a 5 mile radius. The people running the Inn are very friendly. The people that serve here are very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Only thing is I think big foot big ass is on the second floor cause ole heavy foot shakin my room
