If you do not have a car, do not book this. 40 min walk to the nearest metro station. Taxis are not available. You have to walk on the motor way to get to the hotel. Very limited dining facilities. 5 min walk to the shopping mall. Staff speak very little English. Bathroom good for the money. Beds are ok. A/C works in some rooms and doesn’t in some. We had to change our room as the room we were given had very poor air conditioning. No taxis available after 10 in that area. In a nutshell, if you have a car, and can speak Spanish this is a perfect hotel for the money you pay. If you can’t speak Spanish and do not have a car, do not book this hotel

Large clean rooms with excellent front desk staff. Shopping centre and gym is less than 5 minutes away. Highly recommended hotel.

Room smelled like mould

The room Smelled like a sewer backed up and mould.

Hotel was nestled between highways. Limited eating in the area. Mall is walking distance and is open from 0900-2100.

Very organized hotel. Rented a queen room and got stuck with 2 twin beds, kept separating while sleeping. Staff was okay, women receptionist has a bit of an attitude. Room had a musty smell to it. Breakfast buffet was alright nothing too special. Overall would give a 3/10.

Parking not enough to accommodate all guests. Several times parking was too full and people were parking on the side walk. Also ants in some rooms Concierge was friendly depending who it was. Did not try the breakfast cannot comment on that.

I liked everything apart from the fact that I gave a 50€ in cash to pay for the buffet and they didn’t want to accept it which made me feel like maybe it was because I was a tourist or racial profiling because if it wasn’t real would I have not been arrested

very far to the city center and metro or train station. It looks cheap but too expensive to stay in this hotel>I paid 300 Euro to Taxi for staying two days in Barcelona! staff was not helpful for direction!they must provide at least free shuttle to the metro or train station.

Very rude staff. So we missed our flight due to unforeseen circumstances so I rang expedia to ring the hotel to see if we could still check in the following day. They said yes so we went ahead & booked our flights for the next day. So when we got to the hotel we was told as we didn't show up yesterday they rebooked our rooms & then argued no one rang the hotel to say we was coming in the day after. I was on the phone in the hotel lobby for over 3 hours to Expedia and kept getting changed from 1 worker to the next. They all denied about one another. I told them to listen to the call. They said it would take 24 hours. I said to them we have no hotel to go as this was all booked out & expedia said they had no hotel available. Because of them we had to spend the night in a foreign country out on the streets till very late at night. When I told expedia this they had no remose. The hotel not once offered us a glass of water after all the stress they put us through wigh us balling our eyes out. They then admitted the next day that YES I did ring they just didn't note it down. Cuz of this my dad has gotten very ill and ended up at hospital. On several occasions I told them he was diabetic & they couldn't care less. I would NEVER book with Expedia especially the hotel for their disgusting attitude & no remorse even though it was their own mistake.

very strange - good quality hotel, good location - BUT the hotel advertises a cafe / cafeteria that it claims is open all day - but actually it closes after breakfast and only reopens at 19.00 - this may not sound a big deal but if you are looking for a coffee or refreshments through the day you have no hope - there are no tea coffee making facilities in the room - and no shop onsite to buy water or other drinks - so basically - it is bed and breakfast. Hotel also doesn't offer our provide power adaptors if you have forgotten yours - great room, good hotel - just don't expect anything in addition to a bed.

A smart option for a car trip to Barcelona.

If you drive to Barcelona and want to stay in a decent hotel close to the city center (around 20 min drive at light traffic), it is a nice hotel to be. It is very clean and the rooms are failrly large. Personnel is kind and mostly solve your problems. It has a large shopping mall with a hyper market inside. So no problem if you miss something or buy some spanish goodies. Anyway, hotel can provide many amenities for free but you have to ask for them.

Location

The location needs to be very clear that it is not near anything and once you need a taxi it is at least 50 euros. The driver both times I needed a taxi had no idea where the hotel was even located and dropped me at a nearby mall and I walked the rest of the way to the hotel.

Unclean bath room. Extremely poor serive in cafeteria and bar area even when there was any. Tried to have dinner there twice and could not get served. Sink appeared not to have had a thorough cleaning in weeks. Only savior was a receptionist was present all of the time but only helpful with bill and taxi. Thought I was getting a high quality hotel for a business trip. This far less than that if drinks and dinner are what you are looking for after day of business do not go here

NOT! Close to beach at ALL...

I booked package by phone. I told the person I wanted to be close to beach. I was told hotel was in center of town. Turns out I was WAY north of Barcelona about 35-40 mins outside to be specific. I called Travelocity and they tried to work with me. I was told that I could check out next morning without penalty. Will see if that's true once I check my statement. Staff was a little stiff. The guys at the bar was a little rude. The flight was delayed and pushed back. On my way back, they said I had to pay for my bag. I asked that since I paid for a package and didn't have to pay going, how come I had to pay to go back and was told that's just how the airline is. Not happy at all!! Don't think I will use this company again unless o asked very ditailed questions and get in writing to say the least.

Quiet Hotel , with all neccesary for a short visit to the family living in Barbera o Badia del Valles. We will recomend to install some wood drawer in the clothscloset.

Nice hotel in the suburb

Comfortable room. Great buffet breakfast for a fee. Not easy to get to by public transportation. Had trouble getting trouble from Valle de Barbera on a holiday. Best use train station Cerdanyola station instead of Valle de Barbara station during off peak. It's cheaper, better area and much easier to get taxis.

It was OK for one night. Did not like location. Too far from airport. No shuttle to airport good thing we had a car. Hotel not easy to find. Hotel name not visible. Had a triple room. 3rd bed was a roll away bed pushed against the closet, so had no place to put hang clothes. Only thing hotel had going for itself, was their backyard was the shopping mall. Would not recommend this hotel for more than one night.

Too far out

It was not properly located on my GPS and I spent some time driving in a circle looking for it. There is little to identify the hotel and I had to ask a local to direct me to the hotel.

Very clean and modern hotel with Parking

Good Parking and very clean and Quite room very close to a shopping center (mall) with many places to eat. About 5 minute drive to near train station.

Clean Hotel..BUT...

Basic clean hotel. But no facilities like a gym. Breakfast is very limited. Hotel is on the outskirts of Barcelona and costly by taxi to get there e45 !!!...There should have been a shuttle service between the hotel and the nearest train station which is 30 mins walk away and therefore have pay e10 taxi fare Staff are friendly and pleasant.

Go there only if you have a car...

The hotels in Barcelona were full so we were looking for a hotel close to the city and not too expensive... We found this hotel and after reviewing comments we have decided to stay there. When we were going there we have realized that it's on the highway and not very close to the train station and there were no other means of transportation to take you there other than a taxi that costs approx. 10 euros a ride... had we known that in advanced we would have chose a hotel that is a bit more expensive but closer to the center or more accessible... The hotel itself was average, staff tried their best to be nice but their English was not great so they've tried to avoid conversation. room cleanliness was not great, we had a stain on the blanket cover and they didn't change the bedding the day after so we stayed with the stain. they didn't refresh toiletries or added new ones if the bottle was still half full.. the TV was faulty- had a line going in the middle from top to bottom (like burned pixels). so overall, very average hotel.

If you have a car, it's a surefire deal!

An amazing hotel! The best quality/price you'll find around Barcelona (at least, that was my case). The room was very large and had all the utilities up to date. A very kind receptionist greeted us in the lobby and was able to provide everything we asked for. Only issue is getting there... Unless you have a personal form of transportation (i.e. car) then truly consider what you're getting. The place is FAR from Barcelona and the nearest Rodalies (more expensive than metro) is 25 minutes away. There is also no sidewalk to the hotel, so you'll be walking along the freeway (it's pretty exhilarating, actually). Apart from that issue, it went beyond our expectations!

Hotel close to Barcelona

The rooms were clean, but someone smoked in one of the rooms we had booked for 2 nights although it was a non-smoking room on the 5th floor. Asked reception to change the room, but we were told the hotel was fully booked, so we had to sleep for 2 nights in the heavy smell of cigarettes. The hotel staff came and sprayed some perfume in the room to cover the cigarette smell and opened the windows to ventilate the room (didn’t help too much). Also parking was very crowded. Hotel is close to a shopping center and a short drive to Barcelona.

Nice Hotel, location not great.

Hotel was clean and tidy, free air conditioning was very nice and needed. TV which I managed to tune in 3 channels in English and free Wifi was great advantage. We stayed for the week and unfortunately the hotel prices for food and drink were a little steep so we walked into Sabadell every night around 20 minute walk, plenty of cheap cafes and a nice place. The hotel is surrounded with one ways and is located around 20 minute drive from Barcelona, I would very much recommend if driving to have a sat-nav but if you don't want to pay the rental charge (Android phone - NavFree app and download Spain map before heading off as GPS signal is free) All in all was a nice hotel to go back to at night. Next time I will be paying a bit more and stay within Barcelona

WE ARRIVED TO THE NEAREST TRAIN STATION ON A SUNDAY 4PM,TRERE WASNT ANY PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO GET TO THE HOTEL NOT EVEN TAXIS(9 EURO)AFTER 90 MINUTES WE FOUND A POLICEMAN WHO CALLED A TAXI FOR US AND WE ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL WE WERE TOLD THAT EVEN DURING THE WEEK THE LAST TRANSPORT WAS AT 9.30PM MEANING THAT WE HAVE TO LEAVE FROM BARCELONA(40 MINUTES)AROUND 8PM TO GET BACK TO THE HOTEL.I CANCELLED THE REST OF MY BOOKING AND WENT TO ANOTHER HOTEL

Not a 4 star hotel and hard to get to

Although you can see the hotel from the highway, it was very tricky to actually get to the hotel itself. Then the hotel itself is in no way a 4 star hotel. Our bathroom was dirty (hair in the tub, dirty floor) and the water from the shower goes all over the place. All that water had clearly damaged the door and anything else that was wood in the bathroom. We booked the room for 3 people, and got 2 twin beds plus a rollaway. There wasn't any spare space in the room to move. Would not go back there again!

Although it is a little bit far from downtown, it is not more than 15-20 minutes. Very friendly staff and good service.

Nice hotel if you have a car.

Very pleasant hotel if you have a car. If you don't want to go to the center of Barcelona, you can drive to the station, Barbera del Velles where there is free-outdoor parking space just in front of the station. It cost about 3 euro to get to Catalunya station (R4 line), and takes about 4min. If you need to buy daily staff, there is shopping center nearby, so you can go shopping by walk. There are many choices for breakfast with many kinds of bread, hot meals and cakes. The room is very spacious, and hotel staff is very professional, and speck English very well. I recommend staying this hotel definitely.

Barcelona Vacation

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It took a little longer than normal to find the place, but the location is only 15 minutes from a train station and 20 minutes from the best beach in Barcelona. The service was professional, the breakfast was filling, and the rooms were always clean and had enough space for us to spread out and relax when we were there. Being located next to a shopping mall also was very cool.

Ok for a stop off hotel

The room was clean and spacious. However, the description of the hotel said swimming nearby - they didnt have a clue what we was talking about! Plus, the bar and restaurant were hardly open. Other than that, it was a nice hotel, but you do need to have a car to be able to go anywhere

Nice experience, first time Barcelona, no problems with anything. Nice price and good staff, try it. 15 min drive by car to Litoral (Beach Area). Free parking there if you come early (before 09:30). Then take metro to center. Buy T10 ticket and share with anyone (€ 10 for 10 rides : )) ). Barcelona Card only if you are a museum-lover....

Good value for travellers by car

With the buffet breakfast included, this was quite a good deal. We also were offered the "Romantic Package" which includes a welcome gift of Cava (champagne) and fruit. The hotel is close to Barbera del Valle Cercania station so going downtown is easy and cheap. The entrance to the hotel seems to have been an afterthought. It is somewhat difficult to find the entrance off the freeway. Internet connection sucks!!! This is unforgivable for a 4 star rated hotel. Come on boys, get it right! This is the 21st century.

Inconvenient location, horrible customer service

too far from the train station and any tourist spots. have to take taxi to train station and then at least 1 hour to placa catalunya - which has las ramblas. taxi gets very expensive, it almost felt like every second the meter was going up by 5 cents. To get to the hotel from the airport on friday evening, we spent 60 bucks! the savings on the room is barely anything compared to any other hotel which is closer to a train station or tourist spots. might as well book something closer. cant walk to the train station since it is the highway. to make things worse, the customer service of staff was horrible. when we would request things like toothpaste or other room service, she would just tell us to come down and get it!!!! she would say that she's alone at the reception, so she cannot come up to the room and when we went down, she would be talking to other hotel staff, so not only did she lie, but could have easily provided us room service. anyuway even if they change customer service, dthe hotel is not conveniently located. dont bother.

clean and quiet

The hotel is very clean and well kept up and the room comfortable. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. However, getting in to the city was more difficult than we anticipated. We would never have been able to find the train station on our own, and the taxi to the station was double the cost we were told to expect.

OK for business user or tourist

Bear in mind the location (30 mins drive from the airport, further from the centre of Barcelona). Other than that, it's a typical standard hotel, with small choice of dinner, OK breakfast buffet, free wi-fi and clean rooms. No leisure facilities, so probably best used as a tourist base or for local business visits.

Very difficult to find hotel

Very difficult to find, the address is not recognized by GPS systems, and once you are there, you have to drive around for long time before one finds the entrance of the hotel (it costed us 45 minutes plus dangerous parking on the highway to walk over to ask how we can get there!!). Company: do something about this address indication/description!!! Furthermore, I had booked 2 non-smoking rooms, but they gave us smoking rooms. There was not too bad a smell, but it was not very pleasant. The rest of the hotel was OK, dinner was alright, breakfast was very good.

Really good quality budget hotel

I booked the hotel through Expedia, and it was such a good rate I thought it might be a poor hotel. I needn't have worried. Excellent room, good choice at breakfast, staff were fine and I had a good night's sleep before a meeting next day at a local company. It's a long way out of Barcelona, so if you're looking for a more central hotel, you should avoid this one. But if it's in the area that you need to be, it's a very good example of a budget hotel.

Hotel location from Barcelona

Great hotel and staff. The ONLY problem is that it is SO FAR AWAY from anywhere. It is approx 15 miles from the centre of Barcelona. I had to take a bus from near the hotel (available only once every hour) to the train station. It takes approx 25 minutes to the train station. Then, take a train to Barcelona - takes approx 40 minutes. The last train is at around 11.30 pm, but the last bus is at 9.30 pm to the hotel from the train station. So one has to take a taxi - you have to call a taxi at night. The taxi costs approx 10 Euros. The cost of the train and bus combined (if one gets a multiple journey card - 10 trips) is approx 20 Euros.

Can be tricky to find our GPS didn't have the street so we just went to Barbera Parc and kept an eye out at the motorway exit and sure enough found it. The hotel building is called Parc. Right next to shopping centre. Free parking at hotel for us. Would be a mission if no car as we drove to train station which had heaps of free parking. Its about 2.5kms by foot but could be a mission to find. Train is 30mins from city. Rooms were good.

Good Hotel but far away from Airport

About 14 miles north of Barcelona, this is a great hotel located in Barbera Parc next to Baricentro which is a nice mall. Food near by is very cheap but the distance from the airport and Barcelona make it expensive and time consuming to travel. You will even need a Taxi to go to the train station. There is a Bus Stop near by but the distance make it time consuming. It was very clean on the inside even though the building on the outside looks a little rough. I would

this is for people with car i had no car , therefore very inconvenient to get to taxis are extremely expensive in Spain had to take a taxi to the Barbera del Valles train station then take a train to the center of Barcelona unless you have your own car, dont stay here

I stayed here on business, which was fine. Its a bit tricky to find but just follow the signs for the shopping center. Room clean and tidy, bed comfortable, staff polite and helpfull.
