Amazing experience

This hotel is amazing, the room is beautiful, big and very cozy, everything is new and clean, staffs are friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our time here a lot.

Although it’s a walk to the suite, it was well worth it! The walk was fun and totally immersive into the culture , we loved it! No heals flats and sneakers were the footwear. Staff were amazing, so helpful and courteous. We hated to leave and would definitely return.

We loved our stay here. The room was beautiful and clean and the stay was VERY friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. It’s an easy all to everything and in a very quiet area. Eat at Lefkes!!

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff, especially Antonia was extremely helpful with all of her recommendations for activities, dining, etc. they were friendly and welcoming. It was an easy 10 minute walk to Oia and all the shopping there. We are already trying to think of when we can plan a trip back!

The staff makes it incredibly easy to arrive and depart the hotel, but they are also very friendly with the best recommendations for places to eat and enjoy. By downloading WhatsApp, my husband and I were able to stay in communication with the front desk in order to coordinate our breakfast orders as well as request dining reservations around the island. They also assisted with booking a photographer so we can capture memories in Oia by a local professional. I absolutely loved staying at Elysian Santorini and will keep them in mind should we ever make another trip out. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay near Oia, but wants a quieter and more private location with less foot traffic.

No hotel.com gold member complementary upgrade

Being a hotel.com gold member for many years. I thought Elysian santorini will accept my special request for a complementary upgrade to a better room as per stated in golden member privilege. But my 2 nights stays hotel didn’t provide any complementary room upgrade. I was a disappointment.

The staff was all around amazing! The room was beautiful and the pool view was immaculate!

Wonderful Experience

The location was excelled and the staff went out of the way to make our stay amazing! Sergi, Angelina were exceptional! We had a unit with a heated plung pool and used it every night. The bottle of wine that was left in the room as a gift was a lovely touch. Breakfast was on time and delicious. And they accommodated variations on items. Would highly recommend this hotel and if we return to Santorini we would stay again.

People and property was Great, as advertised.

Very friendly staff.

The front desk Hara D is super friendly and helpful. She had booked everything for us (ATV, dinner reservation at popular places, transfers, COVID testing). The bellboy don’t know his name is also super helpful with the luggages and break delivery to the villa.

Overall experience was underwhelming for the price point. The staff and people were great and went above and beyond. However, the overall rooms were just ok. If it were just that though, would have given it a 3.5 out of 5. However, when we booked the room, we had paid extra for 2 other guests who had to cancel due to last minute emergency. All the other properties in Athens and Santorini refunded us the extra (even when it was nonrefundable), this property refused to do so stating the price was nonrefundable. Really?? Yes, I get the room was nonrefundable, but the extra that you are charging for the 2 other guests who are not here should not be. So yes, I give this property 2 out of 5 for cheapness. For the price this place is charging, you can go to a number of luxury resorts with better amenities and that would treat the customer better.

It was excellent !

Had such an amazing stay here with my husband on our honeymoon! Breakfast was delivered in the morning, our private pool was so warm and nice! We were able to watch the sunset while relaxing in the pool!

The villas at Elysian are beautiful and very conveniently located in Finikia, a ten minute walk from Oia. The staff was excellent. Maria at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful in booking any activities, restaurant reservations, taxis, etc. The free breakfast is amazing and is delivered to your villa in the morning when you want. The one downside is that Elysian no longer has a main large pool, which we thought it had based on pictures. Each villa has a decent sized personal pool, but they are not necessarily in the sun or with a view. Overall Elysian was a great place to stay.

fanTASTIC breakfast, staff that you wish you could chill with regularly, beautiful rooms with nice pools, and an excellent location that is in the quiet village of finikia but a short walk from oia. It's a very quiet private hotel with the best staff I've ever interacted with. And we cannot get over how delicious the breakfasts were!

Honeymoon stay at the Elysian

My husband and I stayed at the Elysian Santorini for our honeymoon, and we could not have picked a better hotel on the island! Staying in Finikia provides a peaceful, authentic island experience. Oia and fantastic restaurants are just a short walk away, but in Finikia you are able escape the hustle and bustle of the larger tourist areas. Our villa was beyond beautiful and so comfortable. The breakfast provided by the Elysian each morning was fantastic, and they were very accommodating with food allergies. The services provided by the hotel were also outstanding. They took such great care of us and made perfect recommendations for restaurants and activities around Santorini. They made restaurant reservations for us, arranged taxis, and ATV rentals. The team at the Elysian goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay in Santorini is relaxing and perfect. I highly recommend The Elysian Santorini!

Where oh where do I even begin... Hands down BEST customer service we received while on our 11 day trip through Greece. Personally, this was the best customer service I have ever received in my entire life. Leo, the hotel coordinator/ go-to guy for everything, was so incredibly gracious and kind. We received a personal cellphone upon arrival with Leo's number programmed into it- he told us to call him if we needed anything at all. Leo tended to our every need without hesitation and always answered our calls. When we arrived, we discussed wanting to book a massage, so Leo took it upon himself to call over 6 places until he found the perfect company within our budget that arrived on time to our villa and gave all 3 of us amazing massages from inside our quarters. He also recommended and booked our reservation for a fabulous restaurant nearby called Lefkes which had the most amazing pumpkin ravioli- a must while in Santorini. Every morning we awoke to the most superb and gorgeous breakfast spread which was different each day- everything was fresh and delicious!!! They even provided me with gluten free options because Leo asked all of us if we had any food allergies. I could go on and on. Simply put, the Elysian exceeded our expectations in every way. Elysian is perfectly positioned a 10 minute walk out of the busy centre of Oia. The room was very nice, clean and a decent size and the pool was much larger than any other we saw! The staff were very helpful and pleasant. All in all a great stay at a lovely hotel.

Couple time.

Rooms and breakfast were great. Breakfast was delivered each day and was delicious. Our room was lovely although the view was clouded by electrical lines. The pool was at least a 10 minute walk from our room. We did have our own jacuzzi. We thought it would be a little closer to Oia

Gorgeous super cool villas

Villas in a cave, stay cool in the warm summers of Santorini. Enjoy the indoor plunge pool, outdoor pools or walk to Oia sunset!

Ok...not fantastic

Got the room with indoor plunge pool. It is a novelty although I would say I would die without. The hotel is at 15mins walk from Oia, the other reviews said is a nice walk but sometimes if after a long walk at Oia, I do wish it is closer and without the caldera view sort of being out of the Santorini experience. It is however well known that the property is without the caldera view. The hotel is split into two sites, the one we stayed has immaculate service but the other further property with 5 mins walk away with the infinity pool is horrible. On enquiry for a towel for using the pool, they actually refused us and refuse to check with the other property location if we are guest there. I am shocked for the image the hotel tried to portrait. The hotel could also improve on their bathroom amenities...for the cost of room, I would think they should provide more than shower foam, shampoo conditioner and body lotion....but that is prob not the most critical.

Overall nice hotel. Probably wouldn’t stay again

The room was split into two halves with a doorway connecting them making it quite large. One half had the bedroom and bathroom, the other half had a day bed and a small kitchen area with a fridge. There is a locked door connecting you to your neighbor so if they are loud you will hear it. Overall the room was clean and very nice. King size bed, sheets changed daily. A wet bathroom was connected to the bedroom with a large waterfall shower. We really liked it. There was a nice porch where breakfast was served each morning. On the roof is a semi-private jacuzzi (your neighbor’s jacuzzi is near yours). We used ours every night and never ran into anyone. The hotel had maybe 6 ‘rooms’ if I had to guess. It was located about a 10-15 min walk from downtown Oia. The closest road to the room is about an 8 min walk, the rest is walking path. Elysian had someone meet us to dolly our luggage to the room, it’s a bit uphill and downhill. It is very quiet at the hotel. The path to get to the hotel is a little run down and dark at night but we never felt in danger. The service was good. They supplied us with a cellphone for our stay to call them with anything we needed. They were certainly there to help. I guess my only complaint here was they seemed a little less than genuine sometimes. We stayed at hotels 1/4 the price during our trip and felt more taken care of at times. Breakfast was hardy and served each morning. Overall a great hotel/room but probably not worth the price.

Nice hotel relatively close to Oia.

Great place. They bring breakfast to your villa every morning at a time you chose and set it up on the table on your patio - very cute. Breakfast included Greek yogurt with fruit, breads w/ jams, fruit, something sweet and something savory. If you're driving it is a VERY narrow road to the parking area, like most roads in Santorini. If you're not driving and getting a villa on the lower side be prepared to walk up to the main street. They give you a phone to take with you so you always have a contact for info which is helpful.

Amazing

The elysian was wonderful! Beautiful room. The staff was very attentive and made us feel very special they definitely give you vip treatment. About a 15 minute walk to oia. We loved that we were in a very private, secluded location yet close enough to the town without being in the mayhem. There's a delicious restaurant named lefkes about 5 mts away. My husband and i travel often and we have stayed at many hotels around the world and we both agree that elysian is in our top 3 favorites. If you're going to santorini stay here!!! You'll feel like a celebrity without the price tag. Thank you to the staff Nikki, Anastacia, Dimitris, Sally, Flora, and all the others! Thank you!

This hotel staff had a very friendly at all levels . The breakfast was really great. They have a pool that is very nice with views of the non caldera side of the ocean . The room is a semi cave that does not feel closed in . It is a 15 min walk to Ola. The only down side it is 5-10 min walk out of a local neighborhood that is very quaint being with the locals but if you have any issues with a semi difficult walk this place would be hard to get in and out of. We are both are in our 60's and it we were able to do but could be tough it was hot or if you had health issues .With all of that said it was only a 10-15 min walk to Ola.

Hidden gem

Great hotel! Amazing food and a wonderful breakfast! Staff always going the extra mile. A bit of a walk from the main parking lot. Definitely worth it!

Gracious Elegance and Refined Greek Hospitality

The staff at the Elysian couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The room itself was beautifully appointed — simple, yet stylish and elegant, and very comfortable. The only unfortunate aspects of our stay were very inconsiderate and noisy guests in the unit across from us, who disrupted our sleep for a good part of one night and prevented us from resting in the afternoon, and pool lights (or perhaps outdoor lights left on in front of another unit) that shone through our windows at night. The village in which the complex is located has retained its traditional charm and beauty, yet is much more tranquil than neighboring Oia, which is overrun with tourists and highly commercial. I'd gladly return to this concealed haven again.

Beautifully done Villas on the outskirts of Oia!

I couldn't say enough good things about my stay at Elysian Santorini. The staff are above accommodating in every aspect. From check in to check out my experience was amazing. Breakfast served on our private terrace was just beyond expectation. Infinity pool with view of the beautiful Aegean Sea. This was a relaxing sanctuary much needed at the end of a long trip!! Thanks especially to Anastasia, Nikki and Dimitris but all staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Hope to return in the future!

Paradise...

Spent a week here at the executive villa in September. They arranged a private transfer and from this point on the service was excellent. Villa is decorated beautifully and the pool facilities were perfect. One point to note though is that this villa at this time does have a shady pool. Would highly recommend Santorini as somewhere to visit as the island is stunning and would definitely recommend this as the perfect place to stay!!

Nice hotel

This hotel has a good location, one block away from Oía, nice view of the sunset from your room, very quiet area specially if you want to be away from the party nights in Fira. The room itself was amazing, so many amenities, we will come back again :)

Cute little remodeled cave

Our room was a very nicely remodeled, cave style room. It is just a short walk (about ten minutes) to get to the heart of oai. For the price, you can't beat what you get compared to what you'd pay staying on the cliffs in oai. The breakfast is made by a local every morning and was so delicious! Lefkas restaurant is walking distance to the hotel and was probably our favorite place we tried in santorini!

Amazing apartments in a picturesque quiet area

We loved Elysian Complex. Brand new, stylish, clean, comfortable and great location. In a quiet residential area about 10-15 mins walk from the main pedestrian street in Oia. The staff especially, Anastasia are really professional and so friendly and helpful. We had an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 pools! We watched the sunset from our balcony pool one evening. It was magical. The huge infinity pool that is for all guests is just a small walk away. No bar or toilets. Some smaller apartments are right by it. If you at the main complex then you either need to order food and drinks or take the short walk to the Taverna or apartment. Two Tavernas and a bar within 2 minutes of Elysian. Both looked wonderful but we were not there long enough to try them. We will definitely be going back next year. It is hilly and cobbled and unlit which all added to its beauty. My husband and I are early 50's and it was perfect for us. I'm hoping it stays a well kept secret!

Great Hospitality!

Anastasia was easily reachable and the most helpful person I've ever met at a hotel. She told us of a few great seafood restaurants and where to catch the best view of the sunset. Since it was our first time in the island, we were worried about not getting an ATV to roam, but she quickly got us a reservation. Also, we couldn't catch his name, but the gentleman that helped us with our bags was so sweet! Everything in the villa was perfect, and it smelled amazing. Thank you so much!

Beautiful property

What an amazing property! This hotel is located in Finkia a small traditional settlement in Santorini just outside of Oia the last town in Santorini. Meaning no cars ever just small walkways. The walk into Oia is maximum ten minutes, their are a few good restaurants close within Finikia as well. The rooms are traditional cave rooms built into the mountain. They are very large with a full-size couch and tv sitting area as well as a large bedroom area and bathroom. Each has a mini fridge and sink in the kitchen. Upon our arrival (we were early) they held our bags and gave us a coupon to use at an excellent restaurant in Oia for breakfast. When we returned our bags were already in our room waiting. They also had a bottle of Santorini wine waiting for us to enjoy as well. Each morning they deliver breakfast to your room for your desired time. The breakfast is fantastic and grommet. Not what you expect from any hotel more like a restaurant. This might be the most beautiful hotel I've stayed in! Infinity pool overlooking the sea, private jaccuzi tub above my room and rain shower head in the bathroom just topped it off. They also give each room a cell phone to use while in Santorini at no charge, this was very helpful. The girls at the front desk were great as well helping us book an Atv one day and reservations at different restaurants. I defiantly recommend Elysian and would stay there again when I return to Santorini.

Perfect for honeymoon

We stayed at the Elysian for our honeymoon, and it was an absolute. The modern twist on the traditional Santorini style was lovely and relaxing, and the cave-style villa provided a cool retreat from the warm sun. There was plenty or privacy and the service was exceptional. We rented an ATV and were able to cruise over to Oia or down to Fira with ease. A huge thank you to the entire staff at Elysian for making our experience unforgettable!
