Great office manager. Very convenient property.
The space was very comfortable, The location was perfect, We arrived earlier than the time to check in. Storage for our luggage was accessible, My daughter asked to use the bathroom and the receptionist told her that there was none available. We had to walk about a block to use a public restroom ( that was a bit harsh) Apart from that our stay was great.👍
Windows painted shut. Screens hanging off or don’t fit. Started construction upstairs early in am.
Excellent experience as always
Nice place
Excellent location; easy walk into town and to bus stop Staff very friendly Disappointed that there was not shower amenities or kitchen staples ( I bought my own coffee filters and shampoo) Room walls are very thin especially with exuberant neighbors Pool and hot tub were not filled/available.
Edgartown cottage
Older property, but with a great location for enjoying Edgartown on foot. Cottage has had some updates and was clean. It fit our basic needs for the few days we spent on Martha's Vineyard.
Edgartown Getaway
Excellent stay in Edgartown. Property clean and well organized. Perfect location!
We stayed in the main building, and it was awesome. High ceilings and large windows.
We really enjoyed our stay in Room/Apt. 23. It was recently renovated and spacious. Very clean and well kept. Easy to walk to town for shops, coffee, restaurants, etc. Staff was helpful and friendly. The wi-fi was weak trying to work from the room. No shampoo/conditioner were supplied. It was cold in the living room. Only the bathroom radiator was strong. You can easily hear other guests in room next to you and walking above you, but was not busy season so it was manageable. Would return to stay in unit 23 again!
Unit 7 we stayed in was newly renovated. Beautiful decor, and everything was new. property is in a beautiful area and convenient to restaurants shop, coffee place, lighthouse and beach. Amazing location can't ask for a better place will definitely stay in the same property.
Good location. Really rundown. Walked in to a refrigerator in the middle of the room with towel underneath, sliding door that wouldn’t lock and a pool that was closed due to a problem they couldn’t figure out. Super cloudy and tons of dead leaves. Place really rundown.
Quiet, but very close to the Edgartown downtown area, including the bus station.
There are zero amenities. Not even coffee in the condos. I let the front desk know there was trash in the bathroom with feminine hygiene products in it. They went in and took out some brand new feminine hygiene products that were stores in a cabinet and left the trash. The TV wasn’t working and the lady told my husband to call the cable company and fix it. I told her she needs to get it fixed not is, then later she told my husband to fix it again! I had to get ahold of another staff to get it fixed. The bathroom smelled of mildew and the back doors didn’t close or lock all the way. It was not worth the money they charge to stay there.
Property is very well located and easily walkable to Edgartown and katama. Good price for size/ammenities in suite. Could use a new mattress for queen bed.
Our stay at Edgartown Commons was perfect for our trip to Martha's Vineyard. We stayed in #10 and it was great for our needs. Space is small, but provides everything needed for an easy trip to Martha's Vineyard. We had breakfast in our room each morning and our kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. Beds were also very comfortable. There is only A/C in the bedroom; but we visited in late May/ early June and found that we really didn't need it. Living Room/Kitchen does not have A/C so if that is something you must have; may not be the place for you. We enjoyed opening the windows and letting the fresh air in. The location is phenomenal and you can walk into downtown Edgartown in less than 5 minutes. Having reserved parking at the location was also excellent; we never had to worry about that! We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.
The building has a very musty smell that was terrible for indoor allergies. Would recommend getting rid of the carpet or at the very least, having it thoroughly steam cleaned
It's a classic feeling room (we stayed in #14). Easy to get anywhere in Edgartown. Monica at the front desk was very helpful and nice to communicate with about the property!
Close to bus stop less then 2 blocks, easy to find
Fantastic location, blocks from harbor front. Nicely renovated unit, fully equipped kitchen. Negatives were road noice and AC in bedroom only. Staff very nice.
The location is excellent. The room was clean and comfortable.
Location is great
Beautiful location. Everything we need in the unit.
We were pleasantly surprised with the proximity to downtown. We loved our room location and amenities overlooking the pool . Place was spotless and staff could not have been any nicer. AC was great in the room and kitchen was stocked with whatever you needed. Thank you!
Has everything you need. Close walk to downtown shopping and restaurants.
Convenient location!
Great location in Egartown and the service woof good! Room and furnishing were not the highest quality, but these are individually owned condos so it’s up to the owner!
Perfect place for a couples overnight. Our room was ready 2 hour walkers than check in and there was plenty of towels. There was no shampoo or conditioner though. Super close to downtown Edgartown and the bus. It’s also quiet at night. I’d stay again for sure!
Awesome studio
My husband and I came for our anniversary. Our studio was very cute and everything was brand new. I loved our room!
Location is great, a few blocks to the center of Edgartown with free parking. It’s a budget hotel/condos complex so furniture and kitchen/bath are all dated. Cleaness is what makes me think twice to stay here again, they only come house keeping once a week, bedding, bathroom floor, almost every thing isn’t clean while you first checked in, and room has musty smell if you don’t crank up AC.
The one bedroom suite was just perfect for our family of five. While nothing fancy it was comfortable and tastefully decorated with a simple coastal feel and very clean. The well stocked kitchen was a real plus even though we didn’t cook much...even had a dishwasher! Overall very satisfied and a great value and perfect location for charming Edgartown.
Great location and bang for your buck! Consider adding a dehumidifier to units.
Extremely unpleasant night!!
When I arrived they had strict COVID 19 instructions that made me feel better staying there. Everyone used there mask 😷 and kept 6 feet away when they spoke to you. A plus. The room was very clean and spot less but there was a humid smell in the room. The problem was when I arrived the A.C was on but the room was humid I thought maybe they had just turned on the AC so I lowered it from 67 to 65 and left to travel the island 🌴. When I returned back around 11pm the room was still humid and unpleasant. We tried putting all the fans available to see if that would work after taking various showers wasn’t able to sleep 💤 the entire night. So we took off very early in the morning. When I left spoke to the manager and was told that maybe I didn’t know how to use the AC correctly. I told her that was not the case and told the manager that I wasn’t pleased with it and even told her that she should fix it for the next family that stayed there wouldn’t have to go threw such a unpleasant night. Her answer was that it was a new AC and my answer was than you got robbed.
I was on the island for a wedding. The Edgartown Common was perfect for my needs. Location was fabulous. Price was reasonable for the area. Staff was accommodating and extremely pleasant. I have plans to return next year.
Very nice and close to everything. The only bad thing was the hotel put a family with small kids above us, I feel that they should of been on a lower ground room as all we heard at night until about 10 pm was the kids running around. We did tap a broom on the ceiling hoping it woud stop but it got worse. I do have kids myself as my 17 year old was with us, but the running around at night and early in the morning was obnoxius.
Wonderful stay at the end of peak season. I could see this place being loud, however, when more guests are there.
Would have liked air conditioning as the windows with fans faced a loud communal space outside which made it hard to get to sleep one of the nights
Property was good, but could use a window unit air conditioner in the bedroom. It gets pretty humid and the fans don’t quite do the trick. Otherwise all good
The location was great to walk to town. Staff was excellent and the rooms were great. I only have 1 comment: Our room was next to the garbage bin and it had a terrible smell whenever you walked out of the room. Luckily the trash was picked up the next day which alleviated the problem but that first day, with the warm temperature, made the air smell really bad. I guess if you get a room away from the trash then there's no problem. We didn't realize but will request it next time. Overall, it was a good place to stay.
Everything was very pleasant, family friendly. It has vintage beach house feel, who ever owns the unit we stayed in did a nice job with books, games, cute decor. We were not looking for high end accommodations, rather relaxed place for family of four with teens. Conveniently located in town.
Perfect place to stay with the family
We had room number 21, which we loved, it was detached and had a separate bbq area which we used. The hotel’s location is the best and Edgartown is the place to stay in MV. Loved every single moment at this hotel, would definitely stay there again !
We enjoyed the pool, but did not enjoy there was no air conditioner.
Good
Great location, parking was a huge plus. Facilities were well kept.
I liked the space and proximity to amenities in town.
For the price, it was perfect! They were up front and honest about amenities and I was actually pleasantly surprised by what was in the room (fans, iron, hair dryer, full kitchen appliances). We will return!
Love
This location is so good
Great place to stay. Quick walk to shopping, restaurants, the ocean and great parking with reasonable fees!! I would go there again and recommend it to friends and family.
Room and furnishings old. Pictures on Expedia did not show this. Windows were cracked open at arrival to keep the musty smell down. Very close walk to downtown.
Spacious and close to the center of Edgartown
Lovely spacious place to stay close to the center of Edgartown. Very spacious and comfortable.
Very nice thank you! Could use some complimentary bottles of shampoo.
It was very quite, clean its home like settings so you can coke relax like you are still at your own place Carpet was not dusty i have sinus didn't pick it up at all i would go back and recomend people to go there . Walking distance to the stop n shop and the beach.
Property was clean with fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Great Stay!1
It was comfortable but had no air conditioning! We brought our own portable one! The pool looks big on the picture, but it’s very small! It’s more like kids pool! I didn’t use it. My son went on one time
After checking in, we went to the room and opened up the sleeper sofa to find many crumbs in it. I went to the office to ask for a set of clean sheets since obviously this bed was not changed. She was rude and seemed so inconvenienced by my request. I also requested new pillow cases and I was reluctantly given some but had to immediately return the ones from my room as if I was going to steal the pillow cases. I would not ever stay here again.
Location perfect, as describe on web no surprises. Bed could be a little more comfortable that would be my only negative comment.
The room is like a small studio apartment minus AC and the bed was uncomfortable. They do leave a box fan in the room that helped more than I expected. A lot of cable channels. Cancellation policy is 4 weeks in advance.
A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We enjoyed our stay at Edgartown Commons. We received a warm reception upon check-in and the 'room' we received was actually an efficiency apartment fully stocked with everything needed for an extended stay. Much more than we expected. The hotel pool was exceptionally clean and well maintained and a welcome sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Edgartown.
Great location and a relatively clean room, but no air conditioning and maintenance is an issue with chipped paint, broken towel hooks, poor ventilation in bathroom. Still a little charming like a hotel room from an era gone by.
Fit the bill quiet, nice pool, close to town and clean room. Can’t beat the location
Perfect for us! Clean, simple, spacious. One thing i would add is AC in the room
Really enjoyed our stay at the Commons. It is located in a great location. The room was large and very comfortable but the bathroom shower was small. It also could use a new working fan in the bathroom. The room was quiet and clean and priced very well. I would recommend staying at this location.
Not real friendly. But let us into room early. Horrible smell in closet- couldn't use it. Bed was comfortable.Place was very tired and worn. Used as apartment rentals during off season and it shows. Good location.
Nice hotel for the price and location. Would stay again.
Wonderful stay
Very good.Hotel room is compact but efficient in terms of layout. Room is very clean. 2 blocks to metro which is very convenient. Friendly staff.
Edgartown Commons
The facilities and staff were excellent. Fortunately it was cool as no air conditioning is offered. They missed the part of our reservation requiring first floor or elevator, but were able to change this upon our arrival. Very close to Edgartown. Would stay there again.
Good central location
Very easy walk to downtown Edgartown. Easy access to rest of MV
Edgartown is a town that one would expect to see on this island. Very charming!
yuck!
Rooms were awful. Blinds covered in dust, comforter and pillow shams thin from over use and faded. Would not even sit on bed comforter never mind use it to sleep. Bathroom was clean and towels were new. Good location but miserable staff.
Great location at reasonable prices
Nice to have a kitchenette, easy to walk to town and beaches. Quiet location.
Perfect Hotel In Martha's Vineyard
Amazing time in Edgartown! We were there for a wedding and The Commons could not have been more centrally located. It was an easy, scenic walk into town and to the church which was right across the street. The rooms were spacious and homey with a fridge, microwave and living space. We loved every minute!
Edgartown Commons - perfect for families
Edgartown Commons is perfect for the family. Separate living and sleeping spaces provide kids and parents with the space they need to unwind. A kitchen with full refrigerator is perfect for cooking scrambled farm-fresh eggs with leftover lobster meat; add a side of bacon purchased at the farmers market. Edgartown Commons is perfectly located within a very short walk to restaurants and shops. The first night - we circled around trying to find a parking spot near the restaurant only to end up in front of where we were staying! We immediately parked and walked back to the ice cream place we were eyeing up. Our door had swollen due to the rain and the knob was loose. I mentioned it to the manager, "Rob" and he sent someone over immediately. When we got back from Katama Beach, the knob was replaced and the threshold was sanded down so the door no longer required a hip check to open.
Comfortable and convenient
Everything we needed was in the room. Kitchenette, coffee maker, extra blankets and pillows, fans. Our room was across from a beautiful garden and a two minute walk to the nearest coffeeshop and Edgartown center
It was a very nice budget friendly, clean, comfortable place for a nights stay while passing through town. And I am called an Elitist by many so if I say I felt comfortable and content then it really is.

Really enjoyed our stay- our unit was very comfortable and clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Great location- close to town but very quiet.
