Excellent location, great service

It's hard to find a better view and location as it faces the Caldera. Dimitris the manager is excellent, punctual and addresses things super quickly. Service is excellent and location is central yet private.

Stunning views and it was nice to have a private plunge pool.

The steps are very steep not always with a handrail and the areas are not marked clearly, there were lots of turns and Igot lost several times.

Do not get the junior suite. Horrible. So tiny. The fine print never mentions your balcony is across the walkway, so you don’t even have access to your balcony without having to cross through a main walk path. It says sea view but you cannot see the sea from your room. It’s down and all you see are stairs to the walkway. It’s also located right next to the kitchen, so loud when they make breakfast in Am. Shouldn’t be called a suite.

We had a good time at Dreaming View Resort! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast we got every morning really was a great start to the day. The room we booked was pretty clean and the view was amazing!! The highlight of the stay for sure. It was a wonderful experience all in all

Good view

Great location, beautiful sunset view, friendly staff, delicious pool and topped off with a large pool. Highly recommend for anyone coming to Santorini.

Vasilis, the manager, was so sweet and communicative throughout the entire process. The suite is cute and comfortable, and the view we got (with our private jacuzzi included!!) was absolutely breathtaking and priceless. We had an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you!!

Amazing view, very friendly stuff but...

The view is absolutely amazing and staff super friendly and helpful. Also, the room was very clean. However, the room needs renovation. Jacuzzi's massage function wasn't functioning (and was still not when we left after 3 nights). Aircon wasn't functioning but was fixed the next day. Kitchenette looks rather uninviting as there is rust everywhere and besides a few glasses and a bottle opener no real kitchen devices. Wondering the purposes of this kitchenette. There is a kettle but no cups for tea/coffee. Rust is also visible on any metal in the toilet/bathroom/shower. Breakfast consisted mainly out of packaged convenience food (no fresh fruits, not even a coffee). It's a pity, the location and the room otherwise would be really great.

Very nice location

The location of the hotel is pretty good, I could see the brilliant sunset from the room. I could relax well in the room with Jacuzzi. Only problem was a bit bright in the early morning because there was no curtain at the one of the window.

Staff was very nice and the view was excellent. Short walk to lots of places to eat and do, and the breakfast was amazing.

The room (Premuim suite) was compact but perfectly fine. Our large terrace had stunning views of the caldera and sunsets. Breakfast was great and more than we needed. Our host Eugenious was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this property.

I invite you to visit this wonderful with spectacular views. The staff is very friendly and they are available to help you either in coordinating a dinner, excursion or whatever you need.

The Best view, great room and location.

The view was everything I hoped for and more. Absolutely picturesque! The plunge pool was about 6 ft deep and had an amazing view from the edge. The location is perfect. It's not too far down the hill where you have to carry your luggage and hike, it's right off the main caldera path. The staff will also help with bags too. There are quite a few steps to get to your room, but again, staff can help but it's all worth it when you see the view. Breakfast was included, but wasn't outstanding, although it's free and gets your day started. Plenty of options, and you can change it each day if you prefer. The location is excellent. 20-25 minute walk along the caldera pathway to Fira or 25 minutes the other direction down the pathway to Oia. The walk to Fira is mostly downhill, so be prepared to walk up hill on the return. The first day was rough, the second day we were mentally prepared. Still tough and warm, but there are lots of restaurants and cafe's along the path to stop and take breaks if needed. Restaurants all over for lunch and dinner options, mini market up the steps, you can book tours nearby, staff is knowledgeable of things to do and book, overall just great. Even had a smart TV in the living room to connect to Netflix. I will be staying here again when I return to Santorini (Imerovigli).

Perfect caldera and sunset overlook

We came here for a honeymoon and our stay at Dreaming Suites was perfect. Located in the middle of Fira and Oia, away from the crowds. And we had the most amazing view from the deck. Perfect view of the sunset. Private breakfast overlooking the caldera every morning. Staff was super too!

Stunning views

My sister and I stayed here for three nights. We absolutely loved our stay and the views may have been the most beautiful on the island. Irene was the absolute best and is a huge reason why I would come back. She made us feel right at home and helped us with everything. This area is so quiet and a perfect paradise for relaxation!

This property is in a perfect location. Breathtaking view of sunset , better than in Oia, great room! Super happy! You also have privacy unlike most hotels in Santorini. The hospitality of the host is just amaizing !! Will come back again. Thank you Vasilis for being such a great host!

A real dream come true!

The view from this hotel is priceless! Worth the price! , not so many tourtist walking around which makes of this area one of the best in the island!

Premium room smaller than expected but the outdoor space and indoor tub more than made up for that. Great location, which allows for walks to Oia and Fira on a glorious pedestrianised, caldera path. The view from the patio is stunning with fantastic sunsets. Basilli and Monica always provided service with a smile and made our stay enjoyable and home from home. Breakfast was plentiful and so nice to be delivered so we could enjoy it overlooking the caldera view each morning. Overall, a great place to stay and well-recommended.

Excellent view and hospitable staff. Mattress is a bit too soft for my back. Maybe its time to change.

Amazing View

Staying at Dreaming view was amazing. Love the Staff, room very clean. The sunset view was incredible. I would stay there over again.

Bad start, great stay!

Found locating hotel difficult. Phoned male receptionist 3 or 4 times gave our location on caldera, he said help knew where we were but couldn't direct us!! Said to let him know when we were near and he would meet us outside reception!! An hour later in 40C heat we arrived after getting help from another hotel ! Not pleased!! However when we got to room so impressed, room beautiful, great bathroom, fabulous jacuzzi! Breakfast on terrace lovely! So private, apart from arrival everything excellent.

Decent Boutique Hotel at a Reasonable Price!

Stayed at the Yellow Suite in late September. Gregory the hotel reception was very friendly. The room, however, was a little small and there isn't much space to put your luggage or table tops to put your belongings. The floor was not exactly very clean and there were no bedroom slippers. It feels damp for a long time after cleaning, especially the toilet. The jacuzzi is indoor unlike the Blue and Red Suite, and it wasn't very warm. The Yellow Suite, however, seemed to have the best view amongst all the rooms. Its view is unobstructed and perfect together with the scrumptous breakfast served in the morning. It is also probably the cheapest room, and the price is very reasonable after the peak season. Imerovigli is an excellent place to stay as it isn't crowded with tourists unlike Fira and Oia, but is still walking distance from Fira, and gets a spectacular view of the sunset.

Great location overlooking the Caldera

Contacted by hotel at home before departure to see if we required anything, a nice touch. They arranged our pick up from the airport (chargeable) which I recommend as the hotel is not well signposted in Imorevigli. A bottle of wine and fresh fruit were in our room on arrival. The staff were always excellent, carrying our cases up and down the many steps to our suite. Breakfasts brought to our room were huge with good variety, just called reception when we were ready. Hotel is ideally located with a number of restaurants and bars close, and the capital Fira is a picturesque 40 minute walk, mostly downhill. First time we had to stop often to take in the wonderful views on the way. Buses are every 20 minutes and inexpensive though as an alternative but crowded. The town of Oia about 10km away is famous for it's sunsets and is very pretty but busy with tourists. The view from our Red Jet Suite overlooked Oia and we got the same view, sat in our private jacuzzi drinking champagne, quite romantic. On our return from a day out on my birthday the manager, Greg had put a complimentary large, chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and candles and a bottle of dessert wine in the fridge. Lovely. Overall I could not fault this hotel for location, service, cleanliness and price. Many hotels in the vicinity were more expensive and only offering the same service and views. The only negative is the whole of this side of the island is hilly so not suitable for the infirm. We were fine though.

Excellent, lovely time

Service was great: breakfast was delivered to our room every morning (eggs, bread, amazing Greek yogurt, cereal, coffee, sandwiches), they let us stay in the room the day we checked out until our plane left at 8pm. Amazing views (we stayed in the Red Suite), incredible sunset. The only bad thing was that there was construction right next to our room (another hotel, so not in control of Dreaming Views) that started early, but that's probably done only in the winter (our stay was in February) and that almost everything is closed in the winter, including every restaurant in Imerovigli (but again, not in control of the hotel). The staff only stayed at the hotel for a few hours during the day, but they even gave us their mobile number in case we needed anything.

Amazing hotel with good views.

It is an amazing hotel quiet surroundings far away from th ehustle of the Fira town. It is relaxing hotel with good overall views of the volcanic island. I will definately come herer again.

Best Place to stay in Santorini...simple!

First time in Santorini and our stay was fabulous. the Manager and staff at Dreaming View Suites were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our suite right on Caldera facing the sea and we had in room jacuzzi. This is the best location in my opinion...quiet and serene but just a short walk from the buzz of Fira. The neighborhood is amazing and beautiful, excellent for couples or honeymooners. The breakfast on the patio facing sea was unforgettable although the breakfast items can be improved. The suite itself was clean and had all amenities. We will definitely recommend Dreaming view suites to everyone!

Fantastic breakfast served to our balcony

We received a very warm welcome with drinks and were shown immediately to our room which had a balcony with a fantastic view. The room itself had a jacuzzi which is a lovely feature but as the temperature cannot be adjusted is not really warm enough to use at any time except for during the day when it is heated by the sun. The room was very clean and had everything we needed (the fruit basket and jam are a lovely touch) I can't really find any fault with the room at all except that if you are staying for a prolonged period there is not much space to store your stuff. Breakfast served to the balcony every morning was definitely a highlight of the trip. The food was amazing and it was such a treat to have it served directly to our own private balcony. Olga who worked on reception was very helpful in organising a trip for us the next day and was always on hand to answer any questions we had. The only negative I can find of the trip was when we were leaving which was unfortunate as we had such a pleasant stay. We were due to check out at 12 as normal but were asked to leave a bit earlier as the new guests had arrived. Luckily we had already packed most of our stuff but when we went to collect up the last few bits the next guests were already hanging around outside the door. It gave the impression that we were being rushed out of there and once the new guests started checking in we weren't offered any help with our onward journey or baggage as we went to leave.

BREATHTAKING!!!!!

Will never forget the first glimpse of the view that met us going down the steps to the Dreaming View Suites, absolutely breathtaking! We were met by Olga who was so warm and friendly, greeting us with lots of information about Santorini, and a nice glass of Visanto. We were then taken to our suite,the Blue room, which was lovely with that amazing view of the caldera. The room was immaculate, with a private terrace complete with hot spa tub and sun loungers. I was truly thrilled that I had booked this and it far exceeded my expectations. Throughout the week the staff Olga, Flora and Chris couldn't do enough for you, any car hire, tours etc were all sorted by Olga with recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. We had a wonderful week, even though the weather was a little unsettled, and have already been looking into returning later in the year.

Great gem of a hotel!

We stayed at the Dreaming View Suites for four wonderful nights in late April 2014. I found this hotel online after doing several searches of where to stay, but there were no reviews. I figured we would take a chance since the pictures looked so inviting. And I'm glad we did! The pictures look just like the website! We stayed in the Yellow Suite and it was great. Upon checking in, our concierge Olga greeted us with local wine, dessert, water, and a map of Santorini. We were in such awe of the views from our patio that it all seemed so magical. Dreaming View suites is located in Imerovigli, which is about a 20-30 minute walk along the path from the main town of Thira. It is a quieter section of Santorini, which we were happy about. It sits right on the main pathway that connects Thira to Oia. If you like walking/hiking, then you can easily do a short hike to Skaros, walk to Thira to enjoy some of the restaurants or shopping, or do a day hike to Oia. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. There is a mini kitchen (no stove, but a sink, refrigerator, plates, utensils, and hotpot to heat water), which we used on nights we didn't feel like eating out and just brought back some light refreshments from the local market. The hot tub in our room was also really nice to use every night to soak our tired limbs from all our walking and hiking. The hotel also provides slippers (since it's cemented floors) and changed our towels on a daily basis, which apparently is needed since it stays pretty humid and things won't dry quickly. This was good for us since we had to hand wash some of our clothing since we were staying in Greece for awhile-- thank goodness for the hair dryer so we could dry our clothes! The only disadvantage I think is that with the hot tub in the room, there is a slight chemical smell of chlorine. But of course, that is necessary to make sure the hot tub stays clean. And if you're not too sensitive to smells, it shouldn't bother you too much. Overall, I would definitely stay at the Dreaming View Suites for the affordability, friendly staff, and ideal location. I miss it already!

Superbe hôtel avec vue digne d’une carte postale sur la caldeira ! Personnel aux petits soins, environnement calme : un bijou !!!!

J'ai passé un excellent séjour. La vue depuis ma chambre est incroyable. La chambre est très bien équipée. Le jacuzzi est très bien aussi. Il aurait juste fallu prévenir que pour accéder à la terrasse il y a un petit chemin à traverser.

We had a wonderful stay in Santorini at the Dreaming View Suites. The room offered an exceptional view from the balcony, encompassing the entire caldera. The suite featured a pool where it was delightful to admire the enchanting and breathtaking landscape, enjoy the magnificent sunsets, and savor the peaceful ambiance, caressed by the sun and the wind. Giota and Alexandra at the reception provided us with all the necessary information and took great care of us. They attentively guided us and arranged our reservations for planned activities, such as a catamaran boat trip and a quad ride to explore the island all the way to Perissa Beach. Every morning, at the chosen time, our breakfast was prepared on a large tray and brought to our room by one of the porters. The room was refreshed daily, and the pool was cleaned. Upon our night arrival, not knowing how to reach the hotel from the bus stop, the porter came to pick us up. The hotel truly lives up to its name, and we wholeheartedly recommend it, full of incredible memories from our stay in Imerovigli at the Dreaming View Suites.

Tutto perfetto! Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per ben quattro notti. Non saprei da dove cominciare per sottolineare quanto siamo stati bene. Il proprietario Vasidis è stato molto disponibile ad accogliere un prolungamento de soggiorno e ci ha accolto nel migliore dei modi (indicazioni su posti da visitare, mangiare ect). La struttura era pulitissima e fornita di tutto, compreso l’angolo cottura. Abbiamo preso la camera con la jacuzzi vista caldera ed è STUPENDA. La posizione dell ‘hotel è imerovigli, nella zona più esclusiva

Drömmig vistelse!

Fantastiskt rum med strålande utsikt över havet. Super trevlig personal, Irene som jobbade i receptionen såg till att jag fick den bästa servicen under min vistelse. På mitt boende hade jag ett jätte fint rum med altan och på altanen fanns en jacuzzi. Frukosten serverades på altanen. Hotellet/rummet är mycket finare i verklighet.

Reinste Katastrophe! Please translate to English!

Außer der schönen Aussicht kann ich leider nichts positives über das Hotel erzählen. Es war die reinste Katastrophe. Vom Frühstück bis zur Sauberkeit war alles negativ. Als wir am zweiten Tag uns über die Sauberkeit des Zimmers beschwert haben kam die Putzkraft mit Wut in unser Zimmer und meckerte wo denn der Dreck sei. Im Bett waren Haare genauso auf dem Boden und auf dem Tisch! Die Putzkraft war sehr unverschämt und hat mit uns mit einem ganz lauten Ton gesprochen. Das Frühstück (Rührei) wurde Kalt serviert, appetitlich sah es auch nicht aus! Am nächsten Tag kam unser Frühstück mit Würstchen, obwohl wir gesagt hatten, dass wir auf gar keinen Fall welche wollen. Im Pool haben wir auch nicht geschwommen weil es leider überhaupt nicht hygienisch aussah. Als die Putzkraft am nächsten Tag angeblich unser Zimmer sauber gemacht hat, sah es leider immer noch so aus wie vorher. Wieder Haare und Dreck überall. Außerdem wurden wir über die Renovierungsarbeiten die vor unserem Zimmer stattgefunden haben nicht informiert. Nachdem wir den Mann an der Rezeption drauf hingewiesen haben, dass wir uns von den Arbeitern gestört fühlen sind die gegangen. Für ca. 350€ die Nacht hätte ich deutlich mehr pingeligkeit erwartet.

Très bon accueil, vue splendide

Très bon accueil avec plein de recommendations et d’aides, petit déjeuner copieux, salle de bain très spacieuse. Nous avions pris la chambre avec jacuzzi intérieur, la terrasse privée de la chambre était très grande, mais un passage public passe entre la chambre et la terrasse. (préférerez un chambre avec jacuzzi externe pour les chambres avce plus d’intimité)

Meraviglioso soggiorno, Hotel ha una posizione incantevole ed è molto romantico, i servizi sono buoni, Il personale è cordiale e socievole. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel.

Davvero una vista da sogno

Appartamento nella zona di Imerovigli che è una delle più belle di Santoro, con vista splendida resa ancora più bella dalla presenza della vasca Idro. Complimenti al gestore Vasilis che si è sempre dimostrato disponibile e pronto ad aiutarci in tutto. L'unica nota è che la pulizia potrebbe essere migliorata

Very nice room with great balcony overlooking Kaldera. You can watch the sunset from your sunbed and the Kaldera from the jaccuzy. There is adequate privacy, no one can see you if that is what you want. Overal a great experience.
