The service during breakfast could have been more attentive!

Great service.

This is a very average hotel and fairly expensive for Türkiye. The room was run down, there's no outdoor pool at all despite this being a thermal springs area. There are fake amenities (not real Crabtree and Evelyn) , hair dryer didn't work, TV all with Turkish instructions and after w called for tech support we waited for hours and no one came. Rooftop bar is ok but very pricey. The views online look nothing like reality where you actually overlook a stagnant canal and parking lot through dirty windows. We have NO IDEA HOW THIS HOTEL GOT 9 stars on Expedia, don't believe it!!!

cigarete smoke anywhere.

If sou are non-smoker, you will strugle in that hotel. First they put us to the smoking room with our 8 month old baby. Then we went for a dinner and people next to us smoked, we complained, but the recepcionist told us, that smoking is allowed during the dinner. he lied. There is a law which prohibits smoking inside the whole hotel. The waiter refused to ask people to stop smoking so we ended up having our dinner in a hotel lobby.

The suite was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The hotel was clean and modern. The children loved the pool and waterslide. Breakfast was adequate. Included valet parking was a nice touch. We would definitely stay again.

DoubleTree by Hilton Afyonkaraisar is a great hotel, free valet parking, warm welcome! Good reception, very good in-door swimming pool with a slide, you need to have/ buy head-cover to swim. Spacious room with amazing views on the river, city & sunset! Delicious room-service food, try the Curry-Chicken with Mushroom, Chicken-Caesar Salad, Spaghetti & Cheese-Burger. Big bathroom with bathtub & also standing shower. Good complementary coffee/ tea & water in room with little fridge/ mini-bar. The majority of staff speaks English. Location is perfect for Road Trips from North to South of Turkey. Very recommended hotel to stay in.

We couldn’t sleep from the very bad smell from toilet even with the bathroom door closed and the windows they look like they was never cleaned full completely all windows covered with dirty from birds my mom was want to take a foto with The mosque and was no way posible how to check in a guest in such a bad room apartment whether it was very disappointed

Lovely stay.

We always stay in this hotel when we drive through afyon. The spa is amazing my kids loved the swimming and the massage. The 2 ladies who gave my kids massage were fantastic.

All hotels Towels need retirement. They are so old and bad

Nice hotel, unfortunately indifferent staff. Main problem for us was the dining room. There are 'no smoking / fines apply' posters everywhere, but many diners chose to ignore the rule and the hotel strangely provided ashtrays on EVERY table. As non smokers the smell was unbearable. We ate next door at the Liman Culture restaurant. We have visited many Hilton hotels, worldwide, this was definitely not up to their usual standards, particularly staff wise. Also small things like mini bar in room but not one glass, not even a 'toothbrush glass'. Leaky shower, no footmat. Tea & coffee 'selection' disappointing. The whole experience of the (lack of) standards left us disappointed to be honest. We reserved a non smoking room on a higher floor. Checking in (very slow) we were asked if we wanted a smoking room!?! Our allocated room was on the 3rd floor (of 12). The rooms have lovely floor to ceiling windows, unfortunately the hotel is surrounded by pigeons..... the effect is quite disgusting. A thing to note, there are no taxis near the hotel (!) an average wait was 15 minutes (in March). I dread to imagine the high season. The main coach station is around a 20 minute drive. On a positive, very easy access to a lovely walk along the canal!!

We particularly liked the large swimming pool which was warm and easily accessible. Nice view to the city, even if the weather was really bad during our visit.

Very good area

We bought a triple room with river view on your site, and when we arrived at the hotel, they showed us a room that was very different and very small from the room picture on your site. Since the picture of the room we bought from your site is the same as the deluxe room, they demanded a price difference and said that the picture was put into the system incorrectly by you. We did not want the small room for 3 people that the hotel showed us, but we could not get our payment back. We had to pay the difference and get the room we bought by seeing the picture on your website, by paying an extra fee.

Our hotel stay was absolutely wondeful. Staff, espacially young apprentices were very warm, welcoming and keen to help. Breakfast selection was more in line with the rest of places in Turkey. Their speciality was thick cream specific to Afyon. Boys loved swimming pool & suana facilities. On boys insistence we extended our stay for one more day.

This hotel is situated right next to a river. A bit out of the town center, but taking a short dolmush or a taxi ride, one can easily get to the town center. We went to the Afyon Park, which is the town's main shopping center by taking their dolmush for 5 liras per person (at the present exchange rate it is 27 cents). This Doubletree Hotel is very clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel with an excellent hotel staff.

Very nice hotel to stay. Excellent rooms. Good size. Very clean. No disappointment except for the breakfast, less options however the breakfasf serving restaurant was nice and comfortable. Good ambience. Also the staff were amazing. Check in process was extremely quick and easy amd our room was ready.

Overall a good choice. Quality business hotel. Not walking distance to city center though. But ok.

It was the first hotel where i had 2 showers and 2 toilets just for myself!

Poor lounge facilities. As part of an International group why was NO Smoking posters on wall and yet SMoking was allowed all over the Restaurant. Staff could not supply a reasonable white coffee at breakfast. There was no bread at breakfast on our last day. Staff were very helpful and the bed rooms were excellent although sparse gel and shampoo

Brandnew property, easy to find, room was spacious and very clean, bed was super comfy. Bathtub was made of marble, we loved the view from the room, I believe there is a river by the hotel. The staff is super helpful, we had a flat tire on our way to Afyonkarahisar. We were thinking how to have it fixed then the valet service and the bell boy said they could have it fixed in the morning. By the time we woke up, it was already done. They gave us the invoice and it was done at a very cheap price in the blink of an eye. You can never beat the customer service in Turkey as long as I see during our one month vacation here.

Business Trip To Afyon

Very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were nice. Average breakfast and they almost charged me with breakfast cost although it was included in my reservation. Good value for money

Nice place, but needs better communication

Before we reserved the hotel, we called to verify that all spa services, including thermal jacuzzi, were opened. Upon checkin, we learned that the thermal and jacuzzi had been closed. This was very disappointing because if they would have told us before, we could have changed hotels and not wasted a 3 hour drive from Ankara for a hotel that doesn’t have a thermal bath. Restaurant food was good, service was good. Room service also was hopeless: we ordered the “local vodka” from their room service menu and they told us “there’s vodka in your refrigerator”....but it was not the “local” only Smirnoff. We decided to just hang up because we couldn’t talk them into delivering the service as we requested.

Good hotel if passing through but room too hot

The hotel stay was ok, nice room but the room was so hot I had trouble sleeping. In the morning I went for breakfast which was included in my booking but was told I had not paid for breakfast. A mistake by Hotels.com and I have been refunded for the breakfast with a voucher for a future stay.

Rooms are fine but there are problems with their air conditioning system. The restaurant is disappointing. No options for vegetarians. They only have luke warm coffee and they overcooked the fish using far too much oil. Spa, steam room and sauna are very small but impressive.

Great Value for Comfort!

Great location, good menu options, great rooftop bar view. Little small and lacking amenities like pool/spa but for the location and price it was great! All staff was very friendly, although a few people didn't speak any English, which I was surprised by for being a Hilton. Nothing a little google translate or them getting their friend couldn't solve though!

Average overnight stay

The stay was average. Check-in was a bit complicated, the first receptionist was unable to find out booking - the next one did and was very efficient with check-in. The one lift did not work. We were unable to work it out intil the receptionist came to help us. The second lift worked. The room's air conditioner sis not work. It was very hot throughout the night. Most concerning was that the 1.5 m distancing rule for COVID-19 restrictions was not being observed by guests and not enforced by hotel staff.

Bu otelde birkaç kez kaldık ve her zaman çok memnun kaldık. Iyi bir restoran ve çok iyi bir kapalı yüzme havuzu sunmaktadır. Sehir merkezine sadece birkaç dakikada ulaşabilirsiniz. Ama önemli personel çok cana yakin ve yardımseverdi.

genel anlamda iyi, otel lokasyon itibari ile yol kenarında olduğundan dolayı biraz gürültülü ayrıca giriş katındaki cafe' den de çok ses geliyor.

Resepsiyon; asansörün kartla çalışması alışılageldik bi durum değil, bilgilendirme yapılması gerekir. wifi konaklamalarda oda bilgileriyle kullanılır, biz şifrenin el yazısıyla oda kartlarının takıldığı kartonun bir köşesine yazılı olduğunu ayrıldığımız gün gördük. Bu konuda da bilgilendirme yapılmadı. Resepsiyona ulaşmak için odada numaraların olduğu bi yönerge yoktu. Eksikler için aşağı inmek zorunda kaldık. Resepsiyon numarasının 0 olduğunu öğrendik. Bu konuda da girişte bilgilendirme yapılmadı. Rezervasyonumuzu 3 kişi yaptık, odaya kurulan ek yatak baş tarafı daha aşağıda olacak şekilde eğikti. Ayak havluları yoktu. Odada olması gereken kişisel eşyalar bardak vs. 2 kişilikti. Tek gece konaklayacağımız için bunları görmezden gelmeye çalıştık. Asıl problem oda sıcaklığıydı. Oda sıcaklığı çok çok fazlaydı. Taban ısıtmasının olduğu cihaz 32 yi gösteriyodu, azaltmaya çalıştık, olmadı, özellikle yerler çok sıcaktı, mecburen klimayı çalıştırdık, klima aşırı gürültülü olduğundan durumu resepsiyona ilettik, taban ısıtmasının kapalı olduğunu söylediler ama klimayı açınca taban ısıtmasının oda sıcaklığını gösteren derecesi düşmeye başladı. Klima gürültüsüyle başa çıkamayınca camı açmak zorunda kaldık, bu sefer trafik ve rüzgar sesi çok rahatsız etti. Resepsiyon odayı kontrol edebileceklerini söyledi ama yol yorgunluğundan çocuk uyuduğundan rahatsız olmasın diye bu şekilde devam ettik. Sabah oda soğumuştu ama banyo suyu ısınmadı. Muhtemelen termostat arızalıydı

Küveti kullanmadım ancak küvet tabanı kaplaması kalkmıştı, Hşlton a yakıştıramadım. Haricinde bir problem yoktu, temizlik, kahvaltı vs. güzeldi

Konfor temizlik ve kalite konusunda kesinlikle çok iyi. Resepsiyondaki çalışma arkadaşları da güler yüzlü ve yardımcıydı ancak Restaurant bölümdeki garsonların ilgisizliği ve yemek sonrası içilecek çayı bile dökecekmiş gibi getirmeleri beni şok etti.

Küçük eksiklikler büyük değerler azaltır.

Karşılama yoktu, odaya kadar yolumuzu kendimiz bulduk, asansörler kartla çalışıyordu ve bilmiyorduk , yönlendirme yoktu. Akşam vakti geç bir saatte giriş yapmamıza rağmen, yoğun bir saat olmamasına rağmen karşılayan olmadı. Yemekler lezzetli ancak eksik malzeme vardı. Otel de bulgur bulunmadığı için eksik malzemeyle yemeğin gönderildiğini, özürlerini ilettiler. Odalar konforluydu. Duşta şampuan çok azdı 3 kişiye anca yetti. Ucu ucuna hesaplamışlar herhalde. Havuz temiz düzenli kullanışlıydı. Çocuklar için küçük bir aquapark eğlenceli yanıydı. Ancak hazırlıksızsanız mayo terlik gibi eksikleri alabileceğiniz bir dükkanı bulunmuyor. Otel özelliklerinde alışveriş var gözüktüğü için belirtiyorum. Konfor ulaşım ve güvenlik açısından kusursuz olmasına rağmen, küçük eksiklikler rahatsız edici.

Biraz eski ve bakımsız. Kaydırağın olduğu yerdeki havuzun tavan kısmı paslanmıştı. Çalışanlar ve kahvaltı çok iyiydi.

Es war fast wie nach Hause kommen - ein luxuriöses Zuhause, wohlgemerkt. Mit netten Menschen, die einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich gestalten möchten. Wir kamen an, staubig und müde von der Reise, verließen das Hotel sauber, ausgeruht und erfrischt.

Ankara dönüşü 1 gece dinlemek amacıyla konakladık. Otel ve odalar temiz ve konforluydu. Hızlı ve sorunsuz bir şekilde check-in/check-out işlemleri yapıldı. Çalışanlar güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi. Akşam yemeği için otelin restorantını tercih ettik, servis güzeldi ancak lezzet olarak ortalama düzeydeydi. Ancak kahvaltı mükemmeldi herkese tavsiye ederim. Konaklamamızdan genelde memnun kaldık ancak otel yönetiminin kapalı alanlarda sigara içilmemesi konusundaki yasal düzenlemelere otelde de uyulmasını sağlanması gerekiyor.

Hotel propre, tres bon petit déjeuner et personnel accueillant.

Oda geniş ferahtı. Ama 105 numaralı odanın camından dışarıda geniş bir alan vardı ve tamemem kuş pislikleri ile doluydu. Havayı havalandıramadık. Yorgan var yerine pike istedik Afyon genellikle soğuktur pike yok dendi. 3 kişi konakladk katlamalı yatak olmasın tek kişilik yatak olan 3 kişilik oda olsun diye önden not yazdım ama otelde 3 kişilik oda konsepti olmadığı söylendi doğru olabilir mi? Çok inanamadım açıkçası. Otel genel olarak şık ve güzel bu notlarımızın dikkate alınarak iyileştirilmesini tavsiye ederim. Teşekkürler tekrar yine konaklarım ama üst katlarda 😁

Bizleri karşılayan arkadaşlardan, roofbardaki İbrahim Bey’e kadar, odaların temiz ve kullanışlılığından, kahvaltıya kadar her sey çok iyiydi. Afyon’da termal bir tesise gidilmiyorsa konaklama için burasi kesinlikle tercih edilir.

Das Hotel ist modern. Das Frühstück ist echt mangelhaft. Viel zu wenig Auswahl und das Buffet ist einfach in die Ecke gestellt. Das Personal ist sehr unmotiviert und das merkt man als Gast.

İlk kez Afyon’da kaldığım bir oteli beğeniyorum. Double tree kalitesi heryerde kendini belli ediyor, temiz odalar, güzel kahvaltı. Elektrikli araç için şarj olanağı ve ücretsiz otopark mevcut

Hotel schön, Personal, naja

Das Hotel ist schön. Etwas außerhalb gelegen, aber sehr schön, am Fluss. Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig. Das Personal dagegen kam uns sehr, sehr unprofessional vor. Sollte in einem doch eher hochklassigen und nicht ganz billigen Hotel nicht sein.

Afyona tekrar gelirsem tekrar tercih ederim. Geniş ve temiz oda güleryüzlü çalışanlar her şey çok yerindeydi. Tek kusuru otoparkı geniş değil otelin yanındaki sitenin otoparkına aracımı koymak zorunda kaldım orada da sorumluluk kabul etmiyorlar.

Gerçekten mükemmel bir otel. Personelleri güleryüzlü kibar,saygılı ve çok yardımsever. Çok memnun kaldık. Yemeklerde harikaydı.Tek eksiği çocuklar için herhangi bir oyun alanı yok ancak havuz çok büyük olduğu için çokta aranmıyor. Ayrıca manzarası da çok güzel değişik bir ambiansı var. Şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum.
