Great location and friendly, helpful staff :)

The property was in walking distance to the bus and train station which to me was a bonus. The room we got which was called the New York was nice and spacious. The only complaint; I have would be the lighting in the bathroom. It’s not bright enough. Other than that the price was not crazy expensive. Little bit of noise from the outside as the balcony door was not double paned and heard noise. We couldn’t figure out how to lower the extra closure on the balcony door. We arrived very late that evening so we just ignored. Overall Tirano is a nice place to visit and very nice people. Enjoyed our limited time.

Rooms were themed by country - fixtures and appointments. Japan was fabulous. Convenient and great value.

You need to emphazise the proper way for the check in

The design suites are a short walk from the main hotel but the advantage is they are larger rooms. Each one has a theme - ours was Egyptian. It wasn’t “over done”, just enough to make it interesting. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. We would stay again.

The property was in a great little location walkable to the Bonnie express no problems at all very clean would definitely go back.

The only problem we encountered were the two young girls at front desk during check in. Were made to feel like we were a bother and the one young lady who walked us over to the suites walked way ahead of us and did not speak to us until we arrived and gave us our key at elevator door, telling us which floor, that was it. Went for buffet breakfast this morning and although we were the only ones in the restaurant, we only saw the waitress when she sat us and had to go find someone to ask for coffee

At first I was a little confused because no one had heard of the Design Suites but then a lady told me to go to this large hotel (pointing) and they could help me. The room I was staying in was at a different location in its own building behind security gates. The hostess was so gracious. Instead of telling me how to get there by walking she simply grabbed the key and said "let's walk together so I'm sure you find it and get in without any problems.,". So hospitable! My view was stunning and I was very close to the train and buses and the original town of Tirano. This was my favorite city of the whole vacation. There was easy access to plenty of restaurants and I had a superb rack of lamb! Safe city. Safe hotel. My room was Egyptian themed. I would stay there again and try the other uniquely designed rooms! Very nice.

The room was lovely, with plenty space for 3 of us. Check in person was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy, all super clean, plenty of towels etc. The only negative would be the lack of air con. It was really hot, particularly overnight. There was an electric fan we used in but it didn't really do much to relieve the heat which was a pity.

Quick overnight

Great for an overnight stay to catch the train to Switzerland. The room was stuffy and the air conditioning didn’t work well. It was cool outside so we just opened the window and it was fine.

We spend only one night. Good hotel near Train station.

Didn’t care for the Budda statue in our room. Besides they it was great!

Dolce vita

Check in at Bernina Hotel. If driving put the Bernina Hotel on the satnav so you can collect your keys and access card. Parking on site 10 euros for 24 hours. Parking on site. 2 night stay as part of longer trip. Would recommend for Bernina Express. Station is next to Bernina Hotel. Quiet area although hotel on main road. Restaurants and shopping mall opposite property. Rooms are spacious, comfortable. I would say they could do with black out curtains, might be annoying in the Summer. Well designed and benefitted from the Italian hospitality. Great shower, in room facilities include mini bar, water bottle, shampoo, shower gel, soap, vanity kit, slippers and bath robe. Also menu available for in room ordering although we did not need it. Daily house keeping. Visited the Moroccan suite but preferred the New York one.

Great and quiet with beautiful attention to detail. Good value.

I liked the property . Our room was quiet. The room was a good size. 😢no air conditioning. Lucky it was a cool day . Staff were very helpful and friendly

As other travellers have commented, you have to check in at the main hotel building, but this was only across the street. At check-in, one of the hotel staff walked me across and showed how to access my room. He was very pleasant. It was a very safe building with key card access. My suite was the Japanese suite. It was very comfortable and clean. Perfect for one night stay before taking the Bernina Express the next morning. I was able to get breakfast and check out well in time for the first train.

Best avoided even if free!!

It is listed as hotel but google search does not show it. Had to check in at different place a real hotel. Then one man took us to a dingy, dark flat named Kenya. With thin dirty looking curtains and also hanging fabric on four poster bed that was only making it look shabby. Even first bottle of water was chargeable! Shower cubicle quickly filled with water and we had to have shower standing in a pool of water! For a suite it did not have a microwave or cooking equipment, no plates, no face tissues. For the price, awful even if it was free!

It was right by the Bernina Express train station. Nice and big room. Design suite with large bathroom. Restaurants in walking distance. Staff was friendly. Loved it.

Check in isn’t on site, staff was nice, room had no ac, fridge didn’t work, area felt unsafe so we left after 10 minutes of getting in the room- and stayed at a different hotel down the road.

Great stay at lovely hotel.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Design Suite Torino! Beautiful rooms. Immaculate with extras such as robes, slippers and quality amenities. Location is a few blocks from the train station. Excellent breakfast included at nearby hotel. The desk service is also at this nearby hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

When you arrive at the address for Design Suites there is no indication it is there. I rang their no and was rudely informed I had to register at the Bernina Hotel. It appears that Jane Suites is the new name. Very messy,when you are tired and dragging luggage.nothing on emails or website to help.

Das Personal war okay, aber es fehlte an Freundlichkeit. Man hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass sie ihre Arbeit gerne machen.

Tirano

Esta cerca del Bernina Station ( 3 cuadras) per el check inn debe realizarse en otro hotel ( Hotel y Restaurant Bernina al lado de la Estacion. Aviso para que no caminen x demas con este frio. La entrada de las Suites es oscura y falta iluminación para encontrarla , ya que es la entrada de un Edificio de apartamentos ( no un hotel ) ese fue nuestro único inconveniente .No hay ningún cartel de identificación . Sugiero que la Administración mande un mail personal a los huéspedes para explicar este proceso . Lo demas ok

Prezados foi uma surpresa nao tao agradavel! A acomodacao fica em putro predio a uma distancia ok, mas eh um predio misto onde tem mais outros qtos desse referido hotel. Nos foi dads a chave e nos levado ate a porta! Nao conseguimos ligar o ar cond! E desligar o aquecimento! No qto tinha um telefone sem qq referencia para com a recepcao. O banheiro faltava iluminacao e o estado da bancada do lavatorio muito desgastada e quebrabrada.

Schlaflose Nacht- nie wieder!

Leider war die Vakkumpumpe im Bad defekt, daher machte sie jedesmal enorm Lärm wenn jemand aus den umliegenden Zimmern das WC aufsuchte. Eine schlaflose Nacht war die Folge - nie wieder!

Allora pulizia più che sufficiente La camera nostra non aveva climatizzatore,c’era la ventola a soffitto con aggiunta di ventilatore portatile. Nonostante abbiamo acceso tutto,solo chi aveva il ventilatore puntato stava bene,quella a soffitto non si sentiva nemmeno,faceva solo rumore perché oscillava. Abbiamo dovuto aprire tutte le finestre,tenere la persiana alzata solo 2 cm dal davanzale perché sennò saremo stati invasi dalle zanzare.

Kurzaufenthalt in Tirano

Für eine Nacht alles bestens, Klimaanlage kühlt gut, Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt, kann ich nicht bewerten.

Es war gut und sauber, den Rand von der Duschwand könnte man besser putzen.

Noisy street, calmer between 10pm and 6am

Das Zimmer war stylisch, aber leider fehlte es an Licht (z.B. im Bad). Lose Kabel hingen beim Fenster runter. Schade, dass wenn das doch eher neue Haus nicht fachgerecht gepflegt wird.

Voor deze prijs verwacht ik een koelere en stillere kamer met airconditioning

Wir waren für zwei Nächte dort. Es war ruhig, sauber. Alle Geschäfte und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in Laufweite. Zum Frühstück muss man in das Haupthotel BERNINA. Zu Fuß ca. 3 Minuten. Das Frühstücks war lecker und einen ausreichende Auswahl. Es gab viele glutenfreie Produkte, die abgepackt waren.

Ótimo quarto boque escolhemos…

Sehr gutes Essen im Hotel auch am Abend

Nach anfänglichem Suchen der Reception lief alles wie geschmiert. Die Suite ist sehr gepflegt und perfekt ausgestattet. Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

Sono arrivato presso la struttura e . . . nessuno al citofono, numero non attivo, nessun cartello, dopo vari giri attorno al posto ho letto una recensione. Il check in è da farsi presso hotel bernina ! Chiuso! Dei camerieri mi hanno aperto la camera !

チェックインの場所と宿泊場所が離れているのが面倒かなと思っていたが問題はなかった。ホテルの食事はおいしかった。
