Some homeless people taking drugs in the area but hotel is safe and secured with security. Reception Morning shift lady is not the best but the afternoon are wonderful and helpful. Breakfast is awesome and tasty
Good room and excellent staff. I liked the location and the style
Local très central a Athène, a distance a pied de tout, déjeuner variés. Staff attentifs.
Awesome stay staff friendly and very helpful Great location near the train and bus to get around great breakfast too. Would absolutely stay again
The hotel is located in a very poor area. Homeless people and open drug scenes are common in the immediate vicinity. There is no parking available—not even a partnership with a parking garage. You have to find a parking spot yourself and then walk through the bad neighborhood in the middle of the night with your family. The elevator was old and had not been inspected in four years. We had booked a “suite” which turned out to look more like a storage basement. The beds were hard, and the children’s beds were low-quality rollaway beds. It would have been more comfortable on the floor, but it was so dirty we didn’t dare. The walls were so dirty that dust formed a visible layer. A light fixture had broken off the wall and was hanging by the wires from the hole it left behind (see photo). The walls were also dirty with paint, old dust, and black marks where furniture used to be. The bathtub was dirty, didn’t fit the bathroom, and was broken. The carpet in the hallways was worn out —it must have been there for 100 years. The wallpaper in the corridors was peeling off the walls, with holes appearing throughout. Simply creepy. The “non-smoking room” had cigarette butts on the balcony. The curtains were not properly hung. It was so terrible that we cut our stay short - despite that they did not want to give us our money back, that we already paid. We just moved in a different Hotel.
Great 3 stars inside, but outside...
Great room for three. Great breakfast. Close to two metro stations. The only downside is the immediate surroundings who is filled with drug addicts day and night.
Very Nice Stay
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and the shower/bath fine. But there was no parking available on site as stated in the description. We had to park a block away at an oil station. It didn't feel unsafe but it was not a nice area. Lots of homeless people and urine smells. The Internet was not reliable, and there were a few things in disrepair, including a hole in the bathroom tile of our friend's room that they stubbed their toe on. It was inexpensive though so not bad value I guess.
staff and room were incredible! the location is a little odd
We had the room on the top floor. there were only two rooms on this floor and the rooms are named not numbered. the room come with a seperate air conditioning sunroom. the room and bath are oversized. but the furnishings are definitely in the 70s. cira you must be careful when get in and out of tub shower. the breakfast selection is good for American.
New York
Great hotel!
It was a one-night stand, could be just functional, but the hotel made it memorable: interesting interior; good views and nice location
Hotel was in decent condition. Staff was for the most part friendly. Breakfast is the best thing in the hotel. They claim never to have ice, but they have a bar- makes no sense. The area outside the hotel was full of people doing drugs and many homeless. I didn’t feel safe at night. The block behind the hotel was the same situation.
Good experience and Hotel with amazing location
It was a very pocket friendly stay with good condition hotel and very friendly staff to hell you at each stage. Very close to Omonia metro station making it very conveniet plus easy access to many street shopping. Daily room service even though website says limited was available. Very happy with the stay and will suggest it others who wishes to stay pocket friendly with easy accees. Don't expect 4 or 5 star hotel facilities even though i should say room space and toilet was very clean.
Funky Hotel
The hotel is quite unique. It is a beautiful building with good bones. The decore, flooring, lighting is tired. A simple replacement of the carpets will breathe new life into this gem. The room was great. Nice space, storage, etc. Breakfasts were buffet style so lots of choice and little waste. Unfortunately, the area around the hotel seems to have drug use. We were never accosted, however, going out in the evenings precluded us from exploring some of the cool side streets after dark.
Don't stay here!
Delphi Art hotel is located in a very bad area. Noisy (adjacent to busy road, echoing courtyard) and very sketchy (drug users/deals in courtyard overnight and nearby area street corners at night). My hotel room had wallpaper peeling off with a sign not to flush toilet paper. Hotel staff were mostly pleasant. Best things about the hotel were a very good breakfast buffet and oversized, absorbent bath towels. Way too many better options to choose from that are much closer to most sites.
Property was close enough to the train station so we could get to the hotel quickly as didn’t arrive till 11:30 am and had to be up to leave to the airport at 5:00 am.
The pictures did not match the condition of our room. Things were broken, stuff left in the drawers and a bumpy bed. Not good. Terrible surrounding area where I did not feel comfortable even during daylight hours.
abut hotel
that was good hotel and clean i love breakfast so many verity .the only negative was the old lady in front desk .if ask second time one question she is answering with bad ton .but the other lady very please and welcoming ..
The online info said free parking, that was not the case. Had to use parking garage 2 blocks away. Drinks in frig when arrived, NOT on the house and not obvious that it would cost extra, 3 euro each. Area quite near hotel seemed unsafe with obvious drug users nearby. Air conditioning worked great, room size nice, breakfast was incredible.
I don’t like pretty much everything I’m front the hotel we’re many people do it drugs heavy drugs very sad I saw a man bleeding with needle sad and scary. The property was bad condition my room was terrible and dirty I took some pictures if you want proof very disappointed
Great stay , excellent staff
We stayed for 4 nights as a family(2 adults and 2kids). The hotel and its front desk staff were excellent. It's definitely an art hotel in its decor. The hotel is very near Omonia station and close to restaurants and shops open late at night. You can use the hop-off and hop-on bus service to get to the hotel. The hotel did not have parking in the premises but there is 24x7 parking nearby. The staff is very friendly. I enjoyed my stay. They have breakfast which is good.
Beds were horrible Rouches in the shower Dirty hallways Rooms were tiny
Interior lobby and rooms are very shabby and need cleaning and updating. Breakfast area was clean and food was good.
I requested for a 2 twin beds room but was given 1 double bed. There was just one set of towels and one blanket. I have to request for another set. They were delivered to me at midnight. I arrived around 10:30pm. Receptionist was friendly.
The place was so bad, we booked another hotel on a different website, and left 30 minutes after checking in. Dirty, dark, old, and unsafe. The receptionist was really nice that’s the only good thing I can say.
It was close to the train station and touristic buses.
Everything is Excellent and wonderful in this hotel...Thanks a lot 👌👍🙏
Super 👌 👍
Nice friendly hotel Athens centre
Surprisingly good value, friendly staff, good breakfast. Bathroom could be better. Very clean rooms.
I love the location, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfasts provided. I will definitely stay here when I visit Athens again!
Great check in very informative, great team
A excellent breakfast like 4 stars hotel
Very good service, limited variety in food for breakfast, and the shower had a problem that did was not fixed until we left (at least that is what they said)
Slightly quirky hotel, very comfortable, excellent breakfast and lovely friendly staff who speak good English. When I said we would have to check out very early they offered a breakfast box to take with us. Well placed for access to the metro and sights.
I was a solo traveller and found the location of the hotel ideal. Located close to local areas of interest and tourist hot-spots which were only a short walk away. The staff are amazing and super friendly/helpful. They advised me on areas to visit, arranged tours and were lovely to talk to. I highly recommend a hotel stay here based on the quality of the staff. The beds are really good also. Rooms are air-conditioned which was needed!
Good hotel
It was very good for what i paid, Next time I will book the same hotel
The front desk staff were good and cooperative and always willing to help however there were a catalogue of issues that we faced. The room describe to us was not the one given. Air condition failed to work for 3 days for so many guest when it was super hot temperatures reaching 40* Cleanliness of the hotel is not up to standard stain marks on hallway carpets and a heavy stench, worn out and broken furniture ripped bedding and stains on mattresses. Directly outside the hotels you have drug users injecting them themselves.
The people at the hotel was super helpful that was what make our experience better!
Renting a room for a closed hotel is not cool. I don't care that I could call a number to be picked up are brought to another hotel, just don't rent room that don't exist, it's basic.
Great location great service very clean
We had a lovely stay. Breakfast was very good. Very clean. Quiet back room. Very happy, polite and helpful staff. Close to transport. Close to major sites. We would stay again
Great stay. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast
We were two adults and two children in the suite on the fourth floor. It was clean, good air conditioning and huge bathroom. The breakfast was good, and the reception staff was helpful.
very good experience
+ Nice hotel, quite cozy, good breakfast - the area can be strange at night. - When we wanted to stay longer, the price suggested was exaggerated, 35% more than on hotels.com
Great Hotel
Great friendly hotel, my room was large and had two verandas from where you could see Lycabettus Hill.. the room was £26 per night and a decent breakfast, five minutes walk away from the metro and 15 to. Monastiraki.. the area did not put me off as it might some people.. I will definitely use this hotel again..
This hotel was located in a great area (5 minute walk to the closest metro) with small coffee shops nearby. We only stayed in Athens one night and we are glad that we found this location. The room was old (as was the hotel) but the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Also a nice buffet breakfast. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel for a few hours before heading to the airport. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
On balance a good experience
My family and I stayed at the Delphi Art Hotel for 1 night before returning to the US. Here are the pluses and minuses of the place in my opinion: PLUSES 1. Location: close to Omonia metro station and many tourist sites 2. Breakfast: nice selection of tasty items 3. Shower: good water pressure and doesn't flood. These re not things to take for granted in Greece 4. Room: clean, good condition, nicely furnished MINUSES 1. Street noise 2. Lack of real restaurants in the immediate area 3. NO AIRPORT TRANSFERS-- apparently this was an error on the part of hotels.com, but still a real problem since the cost of a taxi to the airport is 44 euros 4. Outdated "business area"-- computers still run Windows XP or Vista; printer not working
I am sad to say that the hotel and the staff are very nice and helpful but the location is not safe at night. After business hours there are many drug dealers and for the first time in my life I saw a person injecting heroin on the side of street less than 100 meters from the hotel. I also had my window broken on the rental car and took my luggage.
Cozy hotel, great for families.
We were in Athens for 3 days with a 5 yr old and 9 mo old. It was a very comfortable stay for us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Crib, was an unexpected surprise. The room was fairly modern and clean. We were on the top floor and the view was nice. The breakfast was great. The hotel is close to Omonia Square station. All major attractions were very accessible by subway. Grocery stores were less than 100m away, which was a huge plus for us. Given the location, staff and the hotel, I would highly recommend it for families.
it was overall good stay, with a lovely helpful staff, few things can be improved.
A review for Breeze Boutique Hotel
I had my reservation for Delphi Art hotel but due to some electrical issues in my room they transferred me to a nearby hotel, Breeze Boutique, owned by the sane company. The teansfer to the new hotel was quick and smooth; the cab was ordered promotly and paid for by the hotel. Once at the Breeze Boutique hotel everything was, well, a breeze. 😊 The staff at the reception desk—all of them—were very friendly and helpful. The same goes for everyone else I was dealing with at the hotel. I stayed at the hotel for a week, in two different rooms. Both were very confirtable, clean, and with everything I needed (as a nice check-in bonus, the hotel ‘greets’ its guests with a complementary bottle of red wine, peanuts, cookies, and a bottle of water) Daily ckeaning service was great and kept everything neet an tidy. One of the rooms I stayed in had an issue with the shower head, which was addressed promptly and to the full satisfaction. The complementary breakfast was great and with a lot of hot and cold choices. The breakfast room is spacious and comfortable, with big windows and a lot of natural light. It was a very nice space to have breakfast in every morning and plan the daily activities. Overall, the Breeze Boutique hotel has my highest recommendations, and I am very much looking forward to staying there again when I return to Athens.
Great place
Good place, great price. Staff very helpfull
Excellent Experience!
My visit was exceptional. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was a nice size. The frount desk was helpful with directions and suggestions. The hotel is nicely decorated and cozy. Breakfast was very good also with both hot and cold foods in a good variety. It is situated with walking distance or an easy subway ride to many of the main attractions. Best of all the WIFI was great with o problems. I would definitely use the hotel again.
The hotel is very clean, staff very polite and helpful. It is quiet in night. The rooms are spacious. We actually walked to Acropolis and Monastariki square from the hotel around 4 am and it was very safe.
I was travelling alone with 3 daughters. They arranged taxi for me to the airport as requested, Helped me with renting a car and providing all necessary information. The room was big with bottled water and supplies to make tea/coffee. Bathrooms and slippers were also provided. The breakfast was fulfilling and consisted of coffee, tea, orange juice, eggs, red peppers, different kinds of bread, cake, deli meats, cheese and a variety of pastries.
This is a very good hotel with nice spacious rooms, close to the metro sad about 20 min walk from the main city square. The only problem with this hotel is the area. It is located in a neighborhood where homeless people hang out and drink on the small square outside the hotel. At night it is a bad area to be avoided. Hundreds of young men roam the surrounding narrow and dark streets and party until very late at night.
Great stay
Great location, close to the subway, and Hop On and Off tourist buses. They stored our luggage for us the morning of our booking and it was in our room in the evening. The room is the most spacious I have been in in Europe. There was complementary coffee, tea, and water in the room as well as great air conditionering. Hotel staff assisted in ordering food from a local restaurant when we weren’t able to do it ourselves. The bed was a bit stiffer than I like and breakfast was a variety of food. As an American, the eggs were not to my liking but there was PLENTY of other options. We really liked it!
Convenient and clean for staying. Food is ok. Good service
All the staff was friendly and very nice. Always willing to help with any requests. I enjoyed my time at this property very much.
Conveniently placed near one of Athens central hubs; comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast included. Surrounding area is a little rough and ready, but I didn’t feel unsafe.
I was quite satisfied...
Check in and out were smooth...staff friendly and helpful...wi fi was good..breakfast was ample and good...excellent location..I recommend this hotel...good value for the price range...
Easy access from Omonia station. Very friendly staff. Clean, good sized room and bathroom. Breakfast buffet had a generous selection in a pleasant dining room. Hotel is a bit dated but well managed. Neighbourhood is a little rundown but I always felt safe and comfortable, even when grabbing a sandwich after midnight at the 24-hour bakery nearby. I would definitely stay here again.
Unsafe area
The hotel is bit far from the metro station, out side the hotel have a lot people (homeless )sleeping on the floor at late nite which I feel unsafe when walking back to the hotel.. Toilet have no hook, can't even hand a shirt. Luggage keep in hotel store at your own risk, Good BF.
Handy for sightseeing, tavernas and transport. Rooms large and well fitted out.
The hotel was overall good. The décor in the lobby was shabby art deco, but the room was fairly modern, and more importantly for me, clean. Free coffee, tea and water in the room each day which was nice. Great breakfast! Staff was friendly and helpful. The service was great! The area, near Omnia square is not the best area of Athens, but as a single woman, I found it to be okay, even when I went out walking about at night, but I wasn't out late. The hotel is centrally located, near the subway, and if you're up for it, you can walk most places of interest in the central part of the city. There is a small park area directly in front of the hotel and there are homeless men sleeping there each night, but I never observed them bothering anyone or coming to close to the hotel property. Just a bit disconcerting at first.
Great value citycentre hotel
an attractive building in and out.Overlooks a small square(a bit of a young peoples gathering place, but not threatening.Nice buildings around(church,National Theatre etc.Few minutes walk to major metro station in Omonia Square. Had a good size twin room for solo use;most comfortable bed I have slept on for many a year, including my own)Very pleasant café/bar with outdoor seating overlooking the square.Reception and bar staff pleasant and helpful.Well stocked and efficient breakfast buffet service(included in price) Big bathroom with full bath and modern fitings very clean.Sadly shower is the old style over the bath style, but water pressure good. And nice, french window and balcony overlooking the square. All very good in quality and value.
Room was dark 0 view. Balcony unusable. But comfortable, clean beds, bathroom (0 bathtub ) ac, tv, fridge worked. Great hot shower. Nice, pleasant staff. Breakfast included & was nice, good variety. Nr metro & hop on bus. Lots of nice bakeries & cafes. Spice food area, other way is sketchy & dirty. Most travellers would want to avoid, although my son had great meal €3 & the server was very pleasant.
BOUTIQUE HOTEL CLOSE TO EVERYTHING
Hotel is on the main road leading to Omonia square, short walk to buses, taxis, and Metro, shopping all around and a good 20 minute walk to Monasteraki square. Hotel was so charming, clean and friendly staff await you. We took the Buffet breakfast option, which was great too, rooms are spacious, clean and quiet.
Great service
Love this hotel. I would definitely return! The service is great and the rooms were cozy.
Comfortable hotel to stay
Very nice location, close to amenities. Nice atmosphere, the staffs are friendly. Breakfast is nice. If I were to Athens again next time, I would stay in this hotel.
Great experience. The location is good, 10 minute walk to the Acropolis and close to Omonia metro station. Hotel is great value and has a cool retro feel. I must mention one occasion when the staff went out of their way to help me one morning, when I had to leave very early for a ferry. It was too early for breakfast so they arranged a breakfast box for me personally which was much appreciated - top service.
Nice hotel close to Metro statiom
Nice clean room with good mattress. Friendly staff. Luke the location being near the Metro.
Great hotel!
They gave a top floor room with a nice church view.. great hotel! Breakfast is good. Also everyday a bottle of water is in your for free! Would love to stay again whenever I visit Athens ☀️
Nice place to stay in Athene
Nice place to stay in Athene, the crew is welcoming, close to city center. Breakfeast is simple and low level. Beds are not very comfortable
The evening desk rep was great and always helpful and friendly. The area behind the hotel is a bit sketchy.
Great value for location and amenities!
The only hiccup was an interior room whose window was not transparent due to view of alley, and this made me feel very confined. Next day they graciously moved me very efficiently to another room with a balcony view which was great. Very nice breakfast included! Some think of Omonia area as seedy, but ok if you are on a main drag and this hotel is across from National Theater. Very convenient to Metro and interesting restaurants in market area. 10-15 walk to Constitution Square etc.
Great
Amazing breakfast clean comfortable room and friend staff. My favourite hotel in athens
Great Hotel, older but great vslue
Close to all transit routes.easy from airport or ferries. Older hotel in Onomnia district. Room was on front of hotel,so was a little noisy with traffic. Breakfast was large, but not hot all in all a great stay
Hotel very close to metro easy access to major att
Breakfast was vey good , wide selection of food ,staff very attentive.Décor a bit date however for a four. Would definitely returned again but would ask to be move to a different room as my view was a blank wall
Good value for the money
The hotel is nice and clean. The staff is polite and helpful. The internet connection and the wifi signal are great, can't remember when was the last time we had such a good internet connection at a hotel. The breakfast left something to be desired. The location of the hotel is relatively good, some 15 min walk from the Monastiraki square and Ermou street. The only downside of the hotel's location is the imminent area around the hotel and the small streets around the hotel - you won't fell 100% safe walking along and in between those small streets. If you intend to walk towards the central area of the city, use the main road Agiou Konstantinou to Omonia square and then take the vibrant Athinas street to Monastiraki square or tale the Stadiou street all the way to Syntagma square.
Authentic hotel with comfort
A wonderful hotel, a little walk from the touristic center. We were on the top floor and loved the view. The shower was awesome by Athens standards, the room wad clean and authentic. We loved it and would stay there again.
My room was next to the airconditioning machine, so noisy the whole night, couldn't sleep!!
Walking distance to transit although through a depressed neighbourhood
Nice hotel, good location
Nice hotel with slippers and a mini bar/ refrigerator. Friendly, helpful staff. Close to shopping and restaurants.
Amazing with great service and perfect location
Mattress are not comfortable
convenient and cool
Conveniently located about 500m from Syntagma Square. Fast internet is a nice surprise (much better than Titania Hotel).. And the air conditioning is nicely very cool (better than Titania Hotel).. Staff are helpful too. The undesirables in the square next to the hotel not the fault of the hotel. A good choice overall.
Great indroduction to Greece!
excellent receptionist(s) and service staff for breakfast. view from room great, maid service excellent. Great introduction to Greece!!!
delphi
Easy check-in, friendly staff
Great short stay
Wonderful hotel. Is getting older and out of date. We saw some pillowcases or blankets which said "Delphi Art Hotel" with four stars below the name, which is definitely not currently the case. That said, the hotel location just up the street from Omonia Square was good, breakfast was good, and the staff working at the hotel were wonderful.
Ok, nothing exciting. In, sleep, out. Don't expect courtesy, smile or helpful staff.
Close to subway
Quick/Efficient check inn, friendly staff, clean and spacious room, comfortable bed. The breakfast was tasty and it's a very short walk to the Omnia subway from where you can visit all sights in Athens and the airport quickly. The area the hotel is in is really not as bad as people make it sound like, I didn't feel unsafe there
good location for Athens sightseeing
Friendly and helpful staff nice room comfortable bed. Disappointing breakfast
Hotel in central Athens
Very pleasant hotel that is well cared for. It is an older style building but well maintained and clean. The breakfast is extensive with everything from eggs and bacon to pineapple. Some of the nearby streets are very shabby and we could not find anywhere on the doorstep to eat. We went down into Psyrri, Monastariki or Plaka for meals.
Close to the center, near to Metro station
Very nice hotel, room is cleaning, every day compliment from hotel - bottle of wather and coffee. Brekfast is very tasty. Near to metro station and Hop and hop bus stop.
Church next door with her bells at 7 a.m And some really dodgy street nearby
Cheap&Calm&Safe hotel in Omonia station
I requested the room location to be far away from noisy spot, and they located my room to be in really calm and quite. Hotel was easy to find, friendly staff, good facilities, fresh breakfast. Overally, I loved all. People may say hotel location is not safe, but it was absolutely safe! Just Greece local thieves in tourism place, tried to touch and take wallet from my handbag.

Fading Hotel- Dangerous Neighbourhood.
Fading hotel, but a terrible location. The on-site managers were courteous. The breakfast was ok, but we left after the second night because the location was really sketchy. Half a block from the hotel I witnessed a man smoking a crack pipe at 5 in the afternoon. I went out to get something at 7:30 and the streets were lined with pimps, prostitutes and other sketchy characters. I feel bad, as the staff was quite courteous, but I don't know who would stay there. We had booked for 4 nights, but left after 2, knowing that they would not refund the money. Don't go with a family.
