I loved location and sea color. It is like Maldives.

I loved proximity of sea and staff.

This is a great location and nice facilities. There were a few bumps in the process, but that is expected with a newer property. These seemed to be related more to the fact that we booked through Expedia instead of the property. The staff was extremely helpful in sorting it out and helping us feel comfortable.

Pleasant memories of a hotel by the sea

Very comfortable hotel right on the beach. Amazing views of the sea and mountains from the room. Free beach for hotel residents. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Sea water pool for children. At first, we settled in a very old room, but at our request, they found another one, which we were very pleased with. There is only one drawback: there is no elevator :) The administration responded very quickly and promptly to any requests. Thanks to all! Special thanks to Ivanna!

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It is outdated the beds do not have real mattresses. The towels are old and dirty. Please do not get food and stay here!

Forget this place if you want a good holiday!

This place is awful. They confirmed the booking. I was not supposed to re-confirm. However, I sent them a text at 8pm that I would arrive at 9pm as a courtesy. The owner responded at 8.36pm that he sold my room because the check-in was until 8pm. The reception hours are until 10pm by the booking site! The receptionist was rude and very unpolitely stated that they had no more rooms. Obviously they sold my room for more money. Do not trust this place! I ended up running around town at 9pm with 2 small kids to find a room to sleep. They do not take credit card, no parking, and very difficult to find and approach. Avoid it

The property was closed so I had to find another hotel without any help from them.

It was fine for us, as we stayed in Montenegro many times.

Dont waste your money by staying in this place!

This hotel made some nice pictures of some specific rooms but the reality is when you check-in, the given room is not similar at all to any of the figures. Basically you pay for something that is not even listed!

good location, nice see but VERY poor service,TRULY BED - small smelly bathroom and terrible DAMP rooms with sliding doors by the pool..

Unhappy at David Dobre.....

We had hand towels to use instead of normal ones, breakfast was gross, worst we've ever had, no WiFi, no soap in the bathroom and we were charged 15 Euros extra because we booked through Hotels.com. Couldn't believe it....

Nice break in Montenegro

We had a short stop here on the way up north from Greece and Albania. It has poor signage on the way from Albania, and we had to go to Bar and then to Dobra Voda. Beside that everything was fine. Staff, hotel and pool were all very engaging. Will come back.

Hotel did not have our booking

this hotel did not have our booking. Internet service did not work so we were unable to book another hotel online. The hotel suggested we go to their neighbor which was not on the beach. Finding parking was rough. Overcrowded. They charge for beach chairs which is misleading online. No spots to sit at beach because it is completely overcrowded. Do not stay here!!! We drove down the beach to Ada Bojana and it was a wonderful sandy beach that was not crowded although it is clothing optional. Would recommend that instead.

Pretty good

Overall we were happy with our stay. It was a little hard to find as we drove in but once we were settled the staff were very nice. The location is beautiful and the hotel is situated in a nice spot despite there being a lot of people on the beach. They have lounge chairs set up in a secluded area over looking the sea if you want some privacy from the masses. Fun rocks to jump off. No breakfast was included. I would use this place again.

Beach place

I like it here before I arrived to Scadar Lake which is the best place for birds.. enjoyed it!

Hotel not open yet and not in Bar!!!!

I really can't review the hotel as hotel.com booked us into a hotel that was not even open for the season and had no idea we were coming. Fortunately the people there getting the hotel ready for the season put us in a small apartment building behind the hotel. The location of the hotel is spectacular! I wish we could have stayed in the hotel but we still had a decent view. The website also lists the hotel as being in Bar but it is not. It is in Dobra Voda farther south down the coast so if you want to see Bar you will have to find a cab (which was not easy). Great little spot if you just want to lay on the beach and watch the sunset with a cocktail but not where they said it was

Sun, sea and not so much to do at night

I really loved the fact that it was possible to swim in October in this part of Adriatic. Dobra Voda itself was very quiet (almost boring - as I traveled solo). Reading book, suntanning, swimming is most one can do in October here (assume its perfect for families with kids, but not so great for young solo travelers who would love to have a bit of partying).

Great surprise

We had a great experience, as receptionist upgraded us to a larger and better room free of charge. It was totally unexpected and we liked it. Beside that, everything was clean, neat and on great location.

looked like a nice place, but not able to stay

I booked this hotel an hour before my planned arrival time via hotels.com. The hotel was difficult to find in the dark since the location is out of season for tourists. Upon arrival we found the hotel wasn't open or occupied. We checked with a market owner up the road and he confirmed this by calling the owner. It appears that the hotel would be very nice and in a great location at the end of a boardwalk when it is open. I had to book another hotel in Bar for the evening...the hotel hasn't tried to charge me for the night which I was worried about having to dispute a credit card charge, so that is a good thing!

Great place !

One of the best place for relaxing and enjoying. Rooms are clean and nice...beach is few steps from hotel, staf was very friendly. Definitely recommend to everyone !

270 degrees of sun - AMAZING

We really enjoyed the stay in this place... Our balcony was frontal so we were able to face the sun all the time.. The view was incredible.. Although its not luxurious place, David Dobre Vode had all we needed. The place was clean, neat, friendly and its cuisine is exceptional. Still remember the mussels we had there. Mmm.. Wish we could stay longer and hope we will come again.

Great location & quite compact

Nicely looking hotel in a nice location a little tricky to drive to and from in very narrow streets with only room for one car a lot of the way. Friendly receptionist although fairly slow check-in and not there to open the gate one evening to get the car in. Extremely crowded parking space with cars blocking each other at times. Decent looking room with ok space although very compact bathroom. It was clean but there what appeared to be smeared mosquitos/ blood stains here and there on the otherwise white walls. Very small saltwater pool which was very crowded. The reception takes credit card but not the bar. And I didn't come across any restaurant at the hotel. Plenty bars and hotels just around The corner though. Close to a lively street but not any issues with noise from that in our room. Just between two minute beaches with sunbeds and they have sunbeds Infront of the hotel, which you are automatically charged €15 per person for as a resort fee, so be ready for some extra charges.

Aufenthalt war eine Katastrophe, Rezeption absolut unfreundlich. Kaum hatten wir eingecheckt, wurden wir ins NEBENGEBÄUDE verfrachtet, 3. Stock ohne Lift (wir mit 2 Kindern und Kinderwagen). Das Zimmer war eine absolute Katastrophe, es hat aus dem Bad extrem nach Urin/Stuhl gestunken. Wir haben unsere Sachen gepackt und haben direkt ausgecheckt, da dies eine absolute Zumutung war. Balkon noch dazu direkt teilen mit den Zimmernachbarn. Pool und Poolplatz war dreckig und klein. Lasst euch von den Bildern nicht täuschen! Es gab keine Refundierung, obwohl wir direkt nachdem wir das Zimmer gesehen haben wieder ausgecheckt haben. Rezeption schreibt per Viber mit dem "Manager", das auch eine Privatkonversation hätte sein können. Manager lässt sich nicht blicken. Arrogante Rezeptionistin, also sowas hab ich bisher noch NIE erlebt. NIE wieder geh ich dahin und rate allen anderen es auch sein zu lassen.

Badeferie

Fint hotel godt beliggende lige ved stranden og med egen pool. Bemærk at der skal betales ekstra for strandstolene, men det er billigt her ligesom alt andet

Badeferie i Dobre Vode

Dejligt sted. Personalet var meget flinke og imødekommende. Vi boede nærmest ved poolen og havde en flot udsigt over både hav og land. Vi havde bestilt resortpakke og alt andet ville have krævet en masse daglige tilkøb. Internet/Wifi forbindelse var nærmest en tilfældighed, Wifi virkede fx.ikke på vores værelse. Placering: lige syd for Bar, med gode busforbindelse. Det er et turiststed og du skal væk fra Dobre Vode, hvis du vil opleve andet end bade- og afslapningsferie. Den er en stenstrand som ikke er egnet til de helt små børn, hvor imod poolen er ideel til familier med mindre børn.

Ok hotell. Fin plassering på stranden.

Vi fikk rom ved bassengkanten. Aircondition uten sånn nøkkelkortmas så den kunne stå på hele tiden... Perfekt romplassering med to barn som bader hele dagen. Bassenget er sjøvann som pumpes opp fra havet og tror ikke det renses. Det burde nok byttes hver dag, men da vi var der tok det fem (!) Dager før det ble byttet. Da var det veldig skittent. Vi orka ikke bade I vannet etter et par dager. Det var ikke lett å finne buss fra tivat til dobre vode men vi ble hentet av en I familien til de som eide hotellet for €50. Det passet oss veldig bra. Anbefales! Stranda er fin og kun få meter unna. De strandstolene er dyre å leie, men gjelder stort sett alle strender.

Appartement ok de rest niet.

Hallo, Ik heb vierpersoons appartement geboekt.Eerste dag een tweepersoons appartement(kamer 20m2)gekregen met wat extra bedden,verschrikkelijk.We konden een andere appartement kiezen als de andere gasten vertrekken,dat was dag later.Dus we waren dubbel geboekt.Andere appartement was goed. Ontbijt was verschrikkelijk(nog nooit zo slecht gegeten). Gelukkig zijn ook een andere restaurants in de buurt.Geen werkende internet. Hygiene in de WC's en de restaurant niet goed.Geen goede parkeergelegenheid. Rommel/vuilnisbelt rondom de appartementen. Niet mogelijk om te pinnen.

surbooking ?

Un hotel qui a une situation idéale, au bord de l'eau... Cependant attention, je n'ai peut-être pas eu de chance, mais visiblement le patron joue au surbooking. Du coup je n'avais pas de chambre pour ma deuxième nuit (alors que la resa pour 2 nuits avait été confirmée), on m'a trouvé une chambre (très bien) dans un établissement voisin (partenaire?) mais bien sûr un peu plus chère. Bref si c'est habituel chez David, il n'a rien à faire sur Hotel.com

Kaotisk indtjekning, hvor vi ikke fik oplevelsen at den ellers venlige og hjælpsomme indstilling fra personalet som vi oplevede resten af opholdet. Mange mennesker i området, på meget lidt plads. Men et smukt område, med udsigt over bjerge og hav.

Sommer 2015

Fin ferie på et rolig sted. Det som ødela freden var altfor høy musikk på den ytterste strandbaren på dagtid.

Je ne recommanderai pas cet hotel!

C'est un hotel que je qualifierai de tres bruyant, on entend tout ce qui se passe et dans toute les chambres (climatisation, chasse d'eau etc). Notre chambre etait au rez de chausse du coup nous avons du egalement du faire avec les bruits de la rue! La chambre sentait le repas de l'ancien locataire car elle n'avait pas ete aeree!

Barin kaupunki on ripoteltuna useassa kohtaa rannikkoa. Tämä hotelli oli noin kympin euron taksimatkan päässä juna- ja linja-autoasemasta. Paikallisbussejakin kulkee. Saimme huoneen heti aamuvarhaisella ja henkilökunta oli erittäin avuliasta ja ystävällistä.

Hotelli oli suljettu

Karmea tilanne, kun Expedia vahvisti huoneen ja saavuimme illalla hotellille, joka olikin talvikautena suljettu. Siinä sitten haimme alueelta huonetta. Onneksi pääsimme 4 tähden hotelli Kalamberiin. Se oli lisäksi edullisempi ja loistava!

Скажу честно-я не знаю кто пишет все положительные отзывы об этом отеле,и скажу одно:кроме моря,которое находиться в минуте хоть бы от отеля,плюсов больше никаких!!!это был наш медовый месяц,и очень жаль что мы выбрали этот отель!рядом находились очень хорошие апартаменты и гораздо дешевле,чем наши!за 11 ночей мы отдали почти 600 евро.. За все время прибывания у нас в номере ни разу не производилась уборка,замена белья,про wifi можно было просто забыть,он не работал вообще!хорошо хоть додумались и забронировали отель без питания,потому что проходя мимо столовой отеля,постоянно был запах гари!это было просто невыносимо!при отеле есть бассейн,хотели с мужем до обеда просто полежать у бассейна и чуть позагорать,так к нам подошел мужчина из персонала отеля и начал с нас требовать 7 евро за лежаки и зонтики,мы начали ему объяснять,что и не думали что за лежаки у бассейна нужно платить и мы сейчас уйдем,и лучше проведем время на море,так он тут же побежал на ресэпшэн и начал объяснять администратору,чтобы тот в наш счет вписал стоимость лежаков и зонтика!

Bra läge.

Fantastiskt läge vid strand och restaurangstråk. Personalen är trevlig. Riktigt risiga badrum i den äldre hotellbyggnaden, som dessvärre ej framgår i informationen. Wifi väldigt svajigt, under all kritik. Poolen full med sand.

Exceptional service but tiny rooms

I feel like I only want to recommend this hotel, the staff was the most service minded people I met on my entire trip, and the restaurant (a la carte) is good. However, you must be prepared for tiny rooms and very loud music from an outdoor bar nearby (however, this can probably be heard in the entire beach area). The showers are tiny too and you shower on top of the toilet and sink..

God personaler

Det var dejligt og behageligt.og personalene var magrt flink og sød og hjælpsom.

Manglede varmt vand hver morgen. Fik at vide at man brugte solfangere til at opvarme vandet med og derfor kom der først varmt vand efter frokost. Desuden var der heller ikke jævn temperatur på vandet, skiftede konstant mellem koldt vandt og brand varm. Umuligt at tage ordentlig bad. Ingen rengøring eller i det mindste udskiftning af håndklæderne. Hotelet ligger godt i forhold til strand men området omkring er kedeligt. Kun et par meget små butikker.
