Good first hostel stay
It was my first hostel experience- and was a good one for it! Love how modern it was, helpful staff, and it was pretty comfortable.
The casitas give all the privacy of a private room without the expense. The hostel is central and an easy walk from Donostia Amara and sights.
Excelente hostel. Buen situado, a 7 minutos del casco antiguo andando. Limpio. Silencioso. Personal inmejorable. Gracias Cristina. Cama cómoda con una cajonera al pie. Taquillas grandes. Café e infusiones a tu disposición. Baños bien equipados. Precio ajustado. Fan de Coló Coló.

Fetid, stale air
There are things I liked: staff was pleasant and helpful, showers and toilets were good, (though showers didn’t drain well) but the biggest negative point was the stinky, fetid stale air in the casitas caused by 50 people breathing, snoring, coughing ( one person sounded like they had pneumonia….),etc. room had an odor of a bad hangover with some cigarette residue thrown in..they need industrial ventilation to deal with so many people sleeping in one area. A similar hostel I stayed at had person wall mounted fan in each berth, which helped a lot. Wouldn’t opt to stay here again.
