This was a great place to stay. We had a Small cabin. Very well stocked kitchenette. Beds were comfortable and linens were good. Quality. Definitely would be a place I would stay again.
Really enjoyed this fun little cabin and the coziness of the place.
Loved the cabin, just a little close to trains so some noise at times. But we had fun I would recommend this park.
Excellent place
Very pretty and cozy! Nicely decorated for the holidays! We enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff!!
Awesome place
Great cabins and clean facilities
The office staff was amazing! Cute little cabin and we loved having our furry family member with us - thanks for a great stay!
Relaxing kind of home away from home
Very clean and quiet beautiful scenery
We liked everything about our stay. The availability of laundry and extra bathrooms in the main building were a plus as well. Very friendly people and a great spot.
We will be back! It was extremely cold the night we stayed in a Tiny Home so as expected the pipes froze, although the heat was up it was cold in the morning inside but like I said, we will be back, liked the location, although train yard is right there we still were able to sleep. Dog run was a nice to have and some little grassy areas. Property owners were awesome to work with an extremely nice!
Rural area and next to a rail line.
Friendly staff, very helpful
Best rv park
My family and I stayed in one of the cabins initially and ended up renting a second for the remainder of the stay so more family could join us. The cabins are so cozy and everything is super clean. The cabins have everything in them you could possibly need basically. If not just ask Chrissy and other staff at the front desk. They are so nice and help right away. They even plowed the roads first thing in the rv park after the snow and had started salting immediately. The attention to custom satisfaction is beyond what I would ever expect at a rv park honestly. This rv park is full of amenities. Next to running water and right down the road from Price. It’s just beautiful.
We stayed two nights in a small mountain view cabin with our dog and it was perfect. The cabin was very well maintained and warm and the christmas lights on the porch were a nice touch. There are several dog waste stations and a dog run but it was just nice to walk by the river, which was mostly frozen and beautiful. I would stay here again, especially in the winter.
Clean, comfortable, sleeping set up was great.
Lovely little cabin.
This was a great option for us as we had a bike race in Price. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was only 10 min to our bike venue and a much better option then any of the old motels in Price.
Great Stay
The staff was amazing! They were so kind and friendly. Check in was easy and fast. The cabin was clean and perfect for what we needed.
The cabin was clean, had a full bathroom, and small kitchen. Check in and out was easy. Camp grounds were quiet. Local food was good.
A second trip to the artist town of Helper. Brought a dog along this time. Cabin is well appointed and has a small kitchenette perfect for warming up foods and making breakfast. Only complain would be that the mattress is very firm and not very comfortable but we would be happy to stay there again.
Remote, peaceful and very well kept. Cute tiny cabin with room enough to sleep 5 (bonus). Wonderful town in the middle of nowhere. I would recommend the Balanced Rock to dine just a few blocks away. Quite sure the bedding had not been washed as there was pet hair even on pillows and blankets. We loved the home feel, porch and privacy. We were worried the location was next to the train track. The noise wasn’t much to complain about. Check in was super friendly and staff helpful. Everything other than the bedding seemed clean and very tidy. We are Hampton Inn loyals and do a lot of traveling. This was a stay out of the ordinary for us. We liked the price and the unique experience - a bit like camping only not. I would recommend…just maybe bring your own pillowcases.
Very clean space, great communication. One issue
So the cabin was amazing, however one thing is going to keep me from rating it higher. The main bed in our unit was broken. The box spring was completely stove in and it was like sleeping on a lumpy hammock. Fix that and it would be much better
Highly recommended
A great, clean place to stay with friendly staff! Would highly recommend. 😀
Outstanding Accommodations
Prefect location for my travel, much nicer than a chain hotel in the big city, peaceful, great scenery, history, loved the cabin (hardwood floors, no disgusting carpet!), & very well furnished, even a firepit and picnic table outside, staff communicated everything needed, easy in and easy out. Outstanding!
Very clean and well kept. Will definitely stop by again. Thank you.
Don’t overlook this RV/cabin site!
An amazing place to stay! This was the best use of space in a small cabin with everything one needs for a great vacation! So clean! It had a fridge, stove, utensils, heating and air, shower/bath combo, two full beds and 1 twin, a table, and real attention given to small details that make the cost a real deal. The surrounding grounds were kept up too. Plus, the town of Helper and the number of things to see and do in the area will all keep me returning again to this ideal cabin/RV park.
Surprisingly great
Very friendly staff, very clean, walking distance to downtown. Great value
Great staff, helpful, friendly. Cabin was immaculate, well stocked. Beautiful location.
Cozy cabin
The cabin was very cozy, clean and well-stocked. But more importantly, the owners and staff were wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
We stayed one night and it was good choice. The cabin was very clean and plenty of room. The beds are a little stiff , but fine for one night. There is a kitchen area to use and it has all the basic supplies.
Great customer service
We booked this cabin on short notice due to family emergency, the booking through Hotels.com went through, however we did receive a call from the site letting us know that there was actually an error and that there was not a single cabin available for the needed multiple nights. The staff member stated that she was going to talk with a few people and would get back with us to see if accommodations could be made. We received a call back and she had worked everything out and we were able make the stay happen. The campground and cabins were incredibly clean and well maintained. The staff were wonderful and accommodating.
a real gem in rural Utah
A lovely cabin located in a quaint little historic town. Great accommodation, immaculate, all needed amenities, quiet. Even a deck outside to star gaze (this little town is in a designated dark sky area ). Would definitely return.
Awesome lodging, clean
Remote interference
I had stayed at cabins like this before and knew somewhat what to expect, as in how hot it would be. A/c could not cut it and it would hover around 79 all night, hotter in the bunk room. Maybe it is better in the winter. Bunk beds were nice, but my wife pointed out that they looked like they were built just for kids, so do not plan on having anyone over about 80 lbs up top because they may crush the bottom sleeper. No weight limit was specified. Park is generally pretty quiet. Lacking for shade and amenities. The splash pad is very small but the cable TV and internet worked well. Hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful. Oddest thing was the remote situation: the a/c remote turned the TV on. So, if you did not want the TV on, you had to stand right by the a/c to change the settings or do it on the unit. More a minor annoyance but I thought it was funny.
Great stay in Large Cabin at this RV Park in Helper. It is clean and spacious for our group of 5 and it is pet-friendly. There is a nice river at the park as well. The hosts went above and beyond by buying us mattress toppers for the sofa bed. I would come back to Helper, UT just to stay at this beautiful, peaceful park.
We really enjoyed staying at the cabins. We had and excellent welcome and everyone there was very helpful and happy to see us visit. The cabins were very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend a stay here!
Newly refurbished little cabin. The only negative thing was the bed. It was a full size bed that functioned as a twin. You couldn't help but sink to the middle. Very uncomfortable. My husband and I barely slept a wink. The train tracks run by the cabin but we didn't hear them during the night.
Great location
Perfect little stop over on our way home. The property was clean and tidy. Very walkable to adorable downtown Helper.
Cute cabin in a very clean well kept RV park. We just needed a stopover place heading home from Salt Lake City. It’s on the edge of a very interesting historic town that’s been restored and revived by an art community. I’m glad we picked Helper for our overnight stay. Cool discovery!
Perfect little cabin
It was just as it was presented. We were very satisfied and would stay again.
The property has a fun splash pad and playground for kids. It is right next to a stream with beautiful views. However, the queen bed and sofa bed were very uncomfortable and the sheets were very cheap and did not keep us warm.
The cabin was really clean.Had every amenity we needed. The RV park was beautiful. They really take good care of this place and you as a guest. Check-in/out was easy. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Undoubtedly we will be coming back . Thank you Castle Gate RV Park :)
What a wonderful little cabin!
We spent a weekend in one of the cabins. The cabin smelled like wood. it looked brand new and it was fully stocked. They even provided coffee and paper towels. How thoughtful! The location is great. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants and cool local attractions. The staff was very friendly. Heidi checked us in and was so sweet. There was a fire pit and seating area outside. We shall return!
Cute and very efficient place
Easy to fine, unload car and watch the stars
The cabin was very clean and just as described. The kids loved the water play structure.
Wonderful cabin
loved this cabin and marvelous little town of Helper! A true gem.
It was perfect for us and our new pup! Beautiful location and beautiful little cabin! We cannot wait to come back!
Family in a cabin
We rented a cabin for us and our kids. We all loved it! We will definitely be booking another stay, hopefully soon!
