Room was just renovated. Property was still under reno. The quality of work done was excellent. Staff was friendly.
A little problem on check in which was quickly resolved to our satisfaction
New renovations are simple but nice. Bathroom is nice with walk in shower but floor is super slippery even when dry. Stairs to second floor are unsafe. Limited rooms due to unfinished renovations from flood recovery.
My room renovations not completed. New shower stall was dangerously slippery with no grab handle or shelf in the shower to hang on to.
All good except under construction.
In dis-repair after a major flood over one year ago; no ice; parking area cluttered with work containers and furnishings; highway work blocks entrance; many better options in town
This property was flooded out 6 weeks ago and had to close operations. I heard this from a neighboring hotel. Hopefully I was not charged. If I was, I will be complaining.
Helpful
Lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful when it cane to getting parked we were pulling a long trailer. The room was dated but clean free breakfast didn’t start till 8:30am we were in the road by 8 so that wasn’t good not sure we would stay there again
The room was very shabby, torn lampshades, flimsy curtains that didn’t block light. Walls marked up and chipped paint. Towels were dingy. No tissues, toiletries were skimpy. No proper secure door locks. An old rickety chain for safety. Overall compared to the hotel I stayed at in 100 mile for the same price it was terrible.
overally the place was ok for the money we paid. I recommend it for those looking for a budget place.
Shower / tub not draining - not even overnight. No continental breakfast available, as paid for. Cofee in room, but no filter or cups, so could not make coffee. Internet service very bad, not possible to work with.
Frühstück war bei der Buchung ei geschlossen und dann wollte uns die Unterkunft mit einem Keks von Subway abspeisen. Diverse Sachen kaputt, extrem laute und schlecht arbeitende Klimaanlage
Not returning to stay here we hope.
Friendly welcome. Washroom was in middle of repair on ceiling. Bed okay. Small fridge good. Quiet. Cramped parking.
The rooms are very dated, but as clean as could be expected for their age. The AC unit was so loud that it kept me up most of the night as it kicked in and out (too hot to have it off). The building is wood frame, so could hear the people upstairs walking around as soon as they got up. I’d ask for a second floor room, if you can do stairs. Beds were very, very firm and sheets didn’t fit the mattresses properly, but they were clean. All in all, it was definitely over-priced.
Great Inn
Best place to stay friendly helpful staff clean rooms, nice outdoor pool, pet friendly rooms, terrific overall experience definitely staying there again
Non existent suite in a run down motel
We had reserved a 2 bedroom suite and on checkin were offered a choice of ground floor or second floor. I chose the ground floor and was checked into two separate rooms with a connecting door. Neither had a kitchen nor dishes or cutlery. The towels were clean but small and thin. The rooms extremely tired with chipped paint and unpatched walls. 3 of the light switches while still working were broken and in need of replacement. The bed had a mattress but it felt like we were sleeping on the box spring. The ac units worked but were noisy. A continental breakfast was said to be the included however when we asked for it, we were offered cookies and fountain pop from a sister venture, the adjacent Subway. The rooms were expensive given the poor condition of the motel. The female clerk that appeared to be in charge was pleasant.
Very dated and in somewhat poor repair. Some of the electrical outlets were broken and the room would not pass an electrical inspection. Paint chipped. Pretty clean. Pool was nice on the hottest day of the year
Door lock was old, worn out cheap lockset. Owners would not replace it or offer another room. Maintenance guy tried to fix it. No replacement available.
Terrible! Smoke detector in our room was hanging by a thread. Didn’t work at all. They advertise breakfast online and on the sign out front but when you arrive they say no. If pushed you get a coffee at Subway which they also own. Burn holes in the quilt. Pool was tiny but ok. Relatively clean but definitely not ‘renovated’ as advertised. Very disappointed.
All Okay for a quick stopover
The bed is a coil mattress which isn't super comfortable, the pool area could be a little more inviting but the stay was good enough for just a night stop over.
This is an inn for a short stay. It is quite dated though clean, I would not return unless really hard up.
It was good , the lady there is cheerful, I was disappointed with the neighbors rising sounds till 11 pm. Also , I took no breakfast there coz Subway is not open early
Carpet very dirty, a/c not working properly.TV remote not working, bathroom sunk not stable .bath tub did not appear to be clean , Checked on at 4:00 room not available until 6:00. Not as presented by Expedia, Way over priced for what intactly is.
Liked it’s convenient location. The property was dated and dirty. Also the fact that our key and our neighbours key worked to unlock both of our doors made us feel unsafe.
The bathtub and surround are brand new and sparkling clean. The mattresses looked new and were very firm. Sheets were of decent quality. Unfortunately, the plugs and some of the light switches had suffered some damage that hasn't been fixed yet.
Easy checkin and convenient access to room
Never again!!!
This place should be shut down. Overall disgusting. Front desk accused us of being liars when we questioned being double-charged (once on website and again at property). We were flabbergasted at how terrible our experience was! You'd be better off sleeping in your car (and probably more comfortable).
Dated rooms with poor meintenance.
Cheap convenient
We liked the friendly and helpful service from the staff but the bed was uncomfortable and sleep was difficult.
Although the woman at the front desk was very accommodating, this motel was very old, in disrepair, grimey and generally unpleasant to stay at.
It was a very quiet place to spend the night and was very handy to the local highways and you can get food within easy walking distance.
Comfortable for 1 night stay
Unhappy with the room
The door to the room when you closed it didn’t close properly you could see the light through it we slept on a boxspring instead of a mattress it was horrible the air conditioning did not work properly.
Clean and comfortable.
This is the most overpriced and dirty and uncomfortable place I have ever spent a night.. You should remove them from your site as it calls into question your credibility. Do not stay here.
On check-in the desk clerk kept making sure that we were only going to use one of the beds in the room. Asked at least 5 times which seemed excessive but she seemed to need the reassurance. A minor irritant only.
i like the parking inside the sorta compound
This room was old and everything, including the bed, needed updating. Air conditioner was so noisy. Couldn’t sleep. A previous guest’s used towel was left in the bathroom - yuk! This hotel was very overpriced for what it offers
I did not stay at the property as they did not have a pet friendly room.
Hotel was a little dated and there was a mix up on the pet reservation
Newly renovated. Very friendly staff!
Very nice and friendly staff
Poor and overpriced.
Even at half the price, you wouldn't want to stay in this hotel. To their credit, the couple who own the place are doing their best to keep a bad situation from completely falling apart.
Friendly service even with a very late check in
Convenient access. Not well-maintained and very noisy and drunken guests having a party in the parking lot.
Convenience. Friendly. Not over clean beds were very uncomfortable. Overpriced for what we got.
Overall was not impressed with our stay. Most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept on in years. Neighbours plumbing pipes squealed whenever they took a shower, water damage on the wall, smoke detector wasn’t installed correctly and was just hanging from the ceiling. Underneath the beds hasn’t been cleaned in what looked like months with a thick layer of dust and garbage.
Good place to stay my only complaint is they could use new pillows.
The front desk person was professional and friendly. The hotel is old, the doors aren’t secure and the windows don’t lock. The beds are horribly uncomfortable! There were holes in the ceiling. They advertise breakfast, coffeemakers and kettles in the room ... none were available ... I would not recommend staying here
There is obviously no upkeep. Doors need painting, key doesn’t work in lock - knob needs replacing! Floors dirty, coffee maker seen better days...
Wi-Fi connecting OK but no Internet! Creaky ceiling and people upstairs walking around all night kept us awake most of the night.
While the bathroom was renovated the rest of the room was old with damage. No phone to the front desk in the room, no info on hotel amenities in the room. When I pulled the blanket free from where it was tucked in a used plastic cup came out from between the mattress and box spring.
It was a cozy room...excellent room for the price. I couldn't figure out the TV...but that was a me problem!! The lady at the front was very kind and welcoming...Definitely stay here again!
Not a pleasant stay
Got up after a restless night on an uncomfortable old mattress to find the coffee maker broken. Too bad; a cup of coffee might have made up somewhat for the dated, generally unclean accomodation.
Was very disappointed because microwave didn’t work, there was no hot water, and the bathroom fan and a/c were too loud... they even were so busy that they couldn’t offer breakfast because they ran out of eggs on the long weekend, so eventually after little argument they offered us subways which were actually delicious. Other 2 positive things were friendly staff and clean rooms, which made our stay somehow positive. They definitely should work on upgrading their amenities... PS: I don’t know if it was listed as an option but there’s swimming pool and gym equipment on the property which weren’t functioning.
The property is filty and gross. My family is 5 of us(2adults and 3 kids), so we booked a 2 bedroom suit that has a living room and a kitchen. but they gave us 2 regular rooms. One room has no A/C and the other one has a A/C but not working. The bathroom doesn't have a ventilator and the sink was almost falling out. I couldn't sleep at all. Because there are weird noises all night. I don't know what the noise was. But seems like a rat noise. Next day when we went to Subway for our breakfast but they denied. They asked me the small paper for free breakfast but we didn't receive anything from them when checking-in. This was the worst horrible experience EVER! Don't waste your money.
Property was long the highway and easily accessible when you reach town. Issues and misrepresentations: 1. Charged extra at check in - female staff (she claimed to be the owner) was not very nice. She asked for additional $20.00 for two kids (I entered 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids when booking at Expedia but confirmation only showed 2 adults!!) I had to pay extra under protest (no other hotels available due to long weekend). Your website said $10.00 charge for pets but "Kids were welcome" - no mention of $10.00/kid. 2. Room condition: room was dated; black mold on the washroom ceiling; ventilation fan was not working; A/C not cold despite on full (outside temperature was 31 Celsius and room was hot); and no coffee maker in the room (another lie on website). 3. Pool mentioned during booking and the sign at the entrance said there was a pool (I took pictures). Another lie by owner - pool was out of service (been so for a while from customer reviews). Female owner lied - she claimed is new and under construction - city had delayed the permit (out right lie - the pool was used with peeling paint on side). 4. Breakfast - had to go to Subway (owner owned) and got a crappy egg sandwich and one cup of coffee. Please de-list this Inn from your website. The owner does not seem very well versed on business rules - just interested in charging maximum for least amount of service. Will NEVER stay here again.
Many things were broken or needed servicing in our room. The door lock, the air conditioner was very loud as well as the bathroom fan, the hair dryer didn’t work at all, the toilet seat was wobbly, the shower was tricky and a water waster and the bathroom tap was broke. Having said that, we had just been camping for 6 days and needed showers and that was our main reason to stop. We were clean and dry and overall happy to be out of the rain
The view of hillsides is good. The most disappointing thing is that they claim to have an outdoor pool but the pool has not been functional for awhile. There is no water in it and they should let people know this instead of making it seem that they do have one that people can use.
The door did not shut. It kept opening all night and it was very frightening. The tv did not work properly, and even though we enticed the front desk to come look at it, the issue was not resolved. We did like the comfy couch, but the pillows were like loose sponges, and my neck felt like Linda Blair's the next morning. It is a nice enough place with cleanliness, but they need to get their overall act together.
It was ok, although the room smelled of cigarette smoke.
Staff not very friendly. Room was “tired” bed very uncomfortable.
property is old. Rooms are quite dark. Could use better lighting. But was adequate for one night. Breakfast so-so.
Run down and not that friendly
Was an interesting stay... pool was empty and the whole place looked run down. The whole place felt dirty.... The staff was less then interested in helping us with anything. Free wifi only worked in the office!! Free breakfast was subway ... would not stay there again.
False advertising about breakfast, front desk told me breakfast was only for adults not for kids
There was dirty wet toilet paper all over bathroom floor...cheese crumbs all over floor in room dont think it was cleaned... also someones old soap still in bathtub
Very friendly and accommodating checkin. I came into town very late and was still greeted with a smile. All the amenities were explained to me at time of checkin. Room was clean and has a ironing board and hair dryer so getting ready was very easy. Lots of parking and the complex felt safe. Nice stop over for anyone travelling from Vancouver to PG. 😊
Stay away
Pool not working. ‘Continental’ breakfast was one egg sandwich from the onsite subway, no coffee, KIDS NOT INCLUDED, AC unit beside the bed sounded like a loud engine knocking and clanging all night, bed was hard, only two flat pillows, fridge did not work. No coffee in room. Wifi intermittent. Housekeeping knocked loudly at 9:15 AM. Walls thin and could hear TV & conversation from next room.
It wasn’t advertised as it really is. Very outdated, mostly a workers motel? I was very uncomfortable.
Clean budget hotel
Excellent budget accommodation. The room was very clean and it is close to everything the small town offers!
Not much to like. Very dated for the price. The young lady at the front desk runs both the hotel and the Subway next door, but was the one bright spot of the experience. Our reservation didnt exist, apparently, but they had room, so not a complete disaster. The beds were another story. For this inn to charge the price they do, a serious upgrade in the beds and bedding needs to happen. Worst hotel room sleep of my life. My advice? Nix the "complementary " breakfast and shave 20 bucks off the price of the room.
It was just ok. I hope they finish the updates and renovations.
The room was very outdated. The bedding was thin and worn. The bed was very uncomfortable. The manager ( or owner) was preoccupied on the phone.

Good room ad is misleading
Room was newly refinished, new floors, bathroom etc. Room was great. Posting is misleading, post says bar, restaurant on site. The restaurant is a subway and no bar, could get a nice meal down the road but we would have preferred to just walk to a good restaurant
