Lovely area , accomodation is a fair price , not modern but very spacious and family friendly , staff are nice and kind - shower area could do with a bit of a update if any complaint , this wouldn’t stop me staying again though

The room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Room was clean. The room was lacking ambience. For the peak of summer the pool area was lacking. Overgrown area with no decent spot by pool to relax. Pool itself was cloudy and needed attention. Had algae growing making it unsafe for use.

Bright relaxing holiday

Very quiet location away from the madding crowd. Room is large and well laid out. Managers are friendly and helpful.

We had a hostile and unfriendly reception at check in which was quite unexpected and unwarrnated, it put a real dampener on our stay at the facility.

Frances and Leo are very generous and helpful hosts.

Super spacious room. Really convenient location. Only downside was the hot water for the shower was not hot enough (did not have the cold tap on at all) otherwise a really pleasant place to stay.

A great place to stay in Bright

This is a great, well located property with friendly service. Just a note that while this is called an apartment, the only cooking facility is a microwave. This was perfectly fine for us.

Great motel with large rooms that are clean and well maintained. great location just 5 min walk to the town centre.

The owners were lovely to deal with. The room itself is quite dated but perfect for a stop over or one nighter. It has a little bit of character which is nice. Probably just missing a slightly heavier blanket on the bedding but overall not bad!

The Perfect Place To Stay!

After we booked this place we read quite a few bad reviews and were a bit worried that we had made the wrong decision. We didn't have to worry as these guys were absolutely awesome. We turned up 2 hours early and the lady did mention we were too early but she still allowed us to put all of our gear in the room. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Whilst myself, my husband and kids were playing in the pool, we were chatting with the owner and he was telling us about some great spots to visit, he was extremely friendly. When we needed more milk, towels, etc they were more than happy to give it to us, not a single issue. Every time we saw one of the owners they would say hello and we would have a chat. Not everyone has a happy, bubbly personality, and the lady was very assertive and straight forward but that's what we prefer in people as they are straight shooters, you never have to second guess anything, they say it as it is so if you prefer a woman to be all soft and fluffy then look elsewhere. This was the perfect place for us. We had friendly neighbours, a quiet location, kids enjoyed the pool, the room was clean, the owners were friendly, it was affordable, what more could you ask for! We will certainly be staying here when we come back :)

There is so much more to this property than meets the eye - the owner (Leo) is clearly a polymath who designed and built the property himself using engineering principles, and it shows. As an example, it was stinking hot during my visit, and yet I didn't need the aircon. The design of the room was well thought out and it was spotlessly clean. The clock tower is quite a masterpiece and the owner is rightfully proud of it. What's more, there is an art gallery attached (the owner's wife is an exhibiting artist). It is a stone's throw from the town centre yet very quiet. Nice pool as well. If you go there do take some time to have a chat with the owner (Leo).

Clean & Accommodating

Perfectly situated at the foot hills with spacious areas of grassy flats. Beautiful and peaceful spot off the main street but not too far away from the action.

Rather dated but quiet

It was a duplex accomodation with 2 beds on the first floor. That was not very clear in the pictures when we booked it and we were pleasantly surprised at seeing that.

Excellent facilities with accessibility for aged parent who needs seated shower and handles for toilet. Great access to the town via rail trail walking track that is very user friendly for mobility aides or scooter.

The wife was rude and didn't smile at all. To the point that I felt uncomfortable. The dining room had no heating, so my children and I were very cold as we were eating breakfast. The breakfast was expensive. There was no flexibility with check in/check out. I wont be staying there again.

A lovely, neat and practical place for us to stop on our road trip - it ticked all our boxes. Motel-style accomodation, in a lovely setting. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities clean. Situated back off the main road meant no traffic noise and the high ceilings gave the room an airy and light feel.

Lovely accomodation

Great location with huge rooms that were spotlessly clean. The accomodation if about 10m away from the rail trail. The only negative, and its a shame to put it here because everything else was so good was the noisy heater in the room. Every time it started during the night it was very noisy and it would wake me up. Very short walk into town which was a real bonus

Spacious and friendly

Wonderful spacious accommodation and very friendly owners. Close to the centre of bright and a multitude of restaurants. The pool is heated and relaxing on a hot day. The motel is located one street back from the highway so it's very peaceful.

Room was great, the kids loved the mezzanine. Spacious area. Service was terrible however, the owner actually went out of her way to argue with me about a minor querie. Location and room was very good, just do t get talking with them.

A Gem in Bright

Bright ended up being our favorite place along the Great Alpine road and part of that was down to the wonderful stay at bright on track, the room was fantastic with everything we needed and was walking distance to the restaurants and cafes in Town. 100% we will visit Bright again and 100% we will stay at Bright on Track !! cya next time.

Perfect place to stay on the way to the snow

Huge room, plenty of space, kids love the mezzanine room. Bed and pillows really comfy and everything is really clean. Great place to stay only 1hr from the ski feilds.

Pleasant

The building is a little dated - the exposed brick on both sides feels a little gloomy, as sunlight only gets in from the front and small windows at the back; however, it is clean and spacious, and close to town centre. The advice from the owner about where to go and where to stay was great. Bright itself isn’t as amazing or picturesque as I expected, but the surrounding Alpine areas are lovely, especially with all the shades of the autumn leaves. No more than 2 days needed here!

Beautiful place to stay

Warm, welcoming and very friendly owners. Rooms are enormous and spotlessly clean. A really beautiful motel to stay in and I would highly recommend this motel.

Spacious and clean.

A very large spacious room, with bonus kitchenette. Could have had an extra armchair for comfort, especially since there was plenty of room. We were there on a very cold day. Host very kindly supplied extra heater and electric blanket for our bed.

Just another motel pretending to be more.

The location is excellent. A pleasant 10 min walk along the bike track into Bright. The room was very large but sparse and lacked warmth or atmosphere. On check in the person was efficient but made no attempt to be engaging. I think breakfast was an option but no mention of yes or no was made. During the night a water pump cycled on and off. Very annoying. I think it may have been a reverse cycle hot water heater. People stay overnight to sleep !

Nice place, well located, clean and lovely room.

Needed a room for 3 of us, wanted 3 beds, and this was a well rated place and the right price so booked in. It was ideal. Really nice, clean, spacious room. Thank you.

Clean, comfortable, basic

Nothing fancy but meet all your basic needs. We 5 adults stayed in the 3 bedroom Tower unit for two nights. Beautiful environment. Francis and Leo are friendly and nice. Affordable with cleanliness.

Very nice place to stay

Great location and the room was lovely and clean and spacious. Just would have been nice if the lady on staff was a little more welcoming and friendly. She came across as a bit rude and abrupt - like we were just an inconvenience to her.

Spotless and comfortable

This was our second visit to Bright for the National Mountain Bike Championships but our first stay at Bright on Track. We had a great experience despite one day of heavy rain. Bright on Track is spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern and welcoming. It is a short stroll into town and all of the great restaurants, cafes, pubs. Bright is such a beautiful town.

Beautiful big rooms

The room was great. Nice and big, with a mezzanine level with beds as well as a double bed downstairs. Loads of room- a great contrast to many of the tiny squeezed motel rooms commonly found. Microwave, fridge, cutlery and crockery.

Great hotel with big rooms

Lovely hotel run by nice couple. They will even make dinners / breakfasts on request with fresh food straight from the garden!! Excellent location close to bright center and right on the rail trail. We stayed in a mezzanine room which was very spacious and great with kids.

Very nice small motel, large room, large bathroom.

3 of us stayed for 2 nights, room was very clean, spacious, neat and tidy and quiet. Beds were comfortable, had a shower and a bath and we could park outside the door. It is close to town and right on the walking track.

Stayed just before Christmas 2015. Staff were very helpful. Stayed in mezzanine room. It felt huge. Very clean all round. The motel itself only has 8 or so rooms, so is not overwhelming like others in the area. Best motel that I've ever stayed at in Bright (or anywhere) of over 10 years coming to Bright. Will be at the top of my list from now on.

Beautiful Bright

Bright reminded us of a Swiss Village. We were very gald we choose On Track to stay after a long motorcycle ride from Melbourne. It was quite, very roomy and comfortable. A very pleasant 10 minute walk into town where we enjoyed a refreshing beer at the brewery and a gourmet meal at Tani, well worth the cost!

First time we stayed at this establishment. Nice newer motel in Bright. Reasonably priced. Close to shops.

Quiet hotel near the rail trail

I was looking for somewhere quiet for a week long break in Bright. Bright on Track was just the place. Great location about a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. 50 metres from the rail trail.
