Worst guest house
Absolutely poor night’s stay the room was dirty the mattress was stained can see mould on the walls rooms look nothing like in the pictures I spent most of the night sat on the chairs in the room as bed was to dirty to sleep on
Easy, quick and convenient though old bed spring mattress, creaky and uncomfortable experiencing a lot of back pain today can’t complain as low cost
Amazing places
Nice hotel
Wouldn’t consider
The room smelt really bad. There was hairs and ashes on the bed and stains on the pillows and towels.
Excellent online customer service, room looked slightly different but was perfect for a night out.
Could do better for the price
Walked in and there was a smell that lingered on especially in the corridor throughout my stay. As a solo traveller I didn’t feel safe as I found two people stood at the entrance as I was checking in As for cleanliness goodness me a bit of paint would do. Plus some laundry services press beddings or buy beddings that don’t show terrible creases which straight away are off putting as they looked like unclean bedding I wasn’t expecting a five star service for the price I paid but equally it is not nice finding an empty water bottle under the bed clearly from the last guest. It’s not the hotels fault but finding the toilet not flashed a few times was off putting. Thank goodness I had my shower gel and apologies if this was not part of the deal but all I found was men’s shampoo left from past guests am guessing. My door lock was lose and this added to my feeling a bit unsafe. I stay in quite a few air b and bs and apartments but unfortunately this made me feel a bit unsafe. For the value paid I at least expected good cleanliness, fresh smell and a feeling of safety. I love running and whenever I go to new places I take my running gear. On this occasion I felt unsafe to go for a run in the neighbourhood. Thank you 🙏
Well there is nobody, no employees which I've found a little bit unsettling at first. I use this hotel just to sleep as I'm commuting to Manchester for my work.. so having a "special" place like that do not bother me !!!... The ONLY real negative thing for me was the dirty bath tube. Apart from that , the place is all right for me, may come back again!!!!
The bed is not good again. But nice place really.
Hotel review
Very basic hotel the smoke alarm wasn’t working the bath was dirty (although it was a shared bathroom!) there was a good range of products shampoo shower gel etc no tea bags ! No one at a reception desk it was not a manned hotel bed wasn’t very comfortable but it was just a cheap cheerful hotel and you get what you pay for so overall it wasn’t a bad place to stay to get your head down
Room was not what I had picked online really poor bed too
The room wall is not clean and the upped floor corridor had an offensive smell
The was filthy. The boiler was loud all night. There was shouting and banging of doors all night. It’s more of a halfway house for crackheads than a guest house. I would definitely not recommend this place.
amazing stay very comfortable room
Lovely and warm!
It was a very lovely stay. Quiet, clean environment inside and outside too.
It was a pleasant stay overnight. No issues with parking, no noise.
Do not waste your money! When I arrived there was a water leak in the room ceiling. There was no one in the reception, and the one I text on WhatsApp offered me another room in another hotel. When I asked her to arrange a taxi for me, she said no. I tried to refund my booking but I could not. When I told her, I need my money to sort another room myself, she refused. The only option she offered was another room in another hotel without paying a taxi (£25). Do no waste your time, effort, and money with this unprofessional hotel team. They steal your money and do not care about how you have to move because of their mistake.
Its a great place to live. I stayed 3 nights with great satisfaction
No good, no tissue nobody the house
All okay
Very good
Disappointing
Poor & damaged furniture. Horrible plastic cover on mattress. Not my type of place.
Nothing
The place is nice and clean. Easily accessible and in a good area. Our room window was by the back yard which is the designated smoking area. This caused us to have our windows closed most of the time when we were in the room. But this wasn’t a major issue. Overall pleased with the place.
There were people smoking even though it's listed as a non smoker place
I booked this property as an hotel, actually it’s a property house with no staff present at site, multiple occupants self managing like air b&b. The online response was quick and good however, over all condition of property was scary and noisy. The cleanliness was terrible the bedding didn’t look like clean, no room chair table not only only but broken carpet in room terribly fitted, toilet very small size. I would like to upload picture but no option to upload.
I have zero good things to say about this property. It was like a grubby student flatshare. There was no one on site so as a solo female traveller I felt very unsafe. Drunk guests came back in the middle of the night and were banging on the front door and my window to get in. Shared bathroom was grubby and smelly. Toilet also grubby. I was expecting basic but this was just grim. The outdoor area was disgusting. Expedia what are you thinking listing this place?
The room was damped, the carpet very dirty, and broken furniture, pillow smelling armpit. The worse place that I have ever been and not worth 100 per night.
Walls were damp and mouldy, bed sheets were dirty, children were loud on site
A rip-off
It's a regular house in the suburbs. Very run down and with the cheapest equipment possible. My room was humid and the bed smelled from someone else's body. I was given the wrong entry code and couldn't get into the house, but the host was quick to respond. All in all: Charming but what a rip-off!
Good
Good for travelers
This guest house was good enough for people who want to find an inexpensive room. But, you have to share a bathroom with other guests. That's why it wasn't clean.
It’s ok for a bed
For the price it’s not a bad stay by any means, you get a bed and the bathrooms were actually rather clean. The bed itself was super uncomfortable and was really uneven and although Comfortable the cover itself seemed too small for the bed. The neighbors of the building were also really loud during the late hours of the night which isn’t fault of the accommodation but rather the area itself. long story short is you get a bed and bathroom but whether you’ll be able to sleep or not is another question, regardless because of the price it’s probably worth it
I didnt end up staying ,the place smelt so bad had to check in at the travel lodge down the rd.
Stayed in this place for a night.. The room we wer in was a bit small and could do with a touch up.. We did have the room with a bathroom and toilet soo maby that's why it was a bit smaller then the others. Not far from Wilmslow road soo in that way it was good.. Easy access to food and a bit of atmosphere.. Over all wouldn't say it was extremely good however staff wer nice over the phone as its a guest house no staff on sight.. Except when maby house keeping attends.. But over all was a good olac for a little break away.. If the place had a little planning put in to it with some touch ups I guess it could be a lot better but was cheap enough.. Decent enough place..
It was amazing place
It was really a good place clean room quite and close to the town
Good stay
Really easy check in, clean rooms and clean bathroom. Overall a good stay. Got what I paid for.
I had a problem with the code to get in the door, we couldn't find our room as we weren't told you had to go through a door to the kitchen and the room was at the back. The B&B is unmanned. There was a foisty smell throughout. Mattresses were dirty and one had a hole in. There were lats missing from the bed frame. There was a back door leading from the room to a yard at the back. The door didn't fit properly and there was a gap through which we could hear the neighbours shouting until 1.30am. We felt very insecure. Would not stay again and would not recommend.
This was a a poor facility. Shared bathroom which was brown and dirty, peeling paint on all the walls. Bedding didnt feel or look clean. Honestly looked like it was a rent a room by the hour place.
I’m absolutely disgusted.. we arrived to a cold damp wet room windows open on a day that had rain all day ..my son autistic.. and was cold . No bathroom and nowhere was any mention of no bathroom. It shouldn’t be advertised at all the write up is lies . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone . In a very rough area too so my car wasn’t safe . We walked in and walked out didn’t stay there .. my son is 10 autistic and found the whole experience stressful ... so we booked into a different guest house 5 star . DONT STAY AT THIS GUEST HOUSE .
Exactly what you would expect for the money near central Manchester, only complaint is advertised as having free parking so booked for this purpose, when said Parking was just residential parking so no different to staying in any other hotel or guesthouse
Room was smelling with cigarette and can find cigarette buds in the room. We couldn't sleep because of the this smell, my friend end up sleeping in car for some time.
Avoid at all costs! Drugs in rooms!
Drugs in room. Smelled so bad of weed that it made us nauseous. Walls has ripped paper, holes and was generally very run down. Couldn’t even use the bed as the slats were broken and the mattress fell through. Bathroom was also dirty and has mould. Took a while to find emergency numbers as they are not in the room. Eventually found in the kitchen. Very hands off as no staff around to help or ask questions. We left and had no accommodation for the night but this was better than sleeping here. Would NOT recommend at all. Wouldn’t even put my worst enemy here. It should be shut down!!!!!
Room was not clean was very disappointed with bedding
I liked the fact that the area was quiet and the room was much cheaper than staying in town. However there was no welcome or anything, the letting yourself in with a code and then getting your own key from a lock on the door felt really cold and odd. The whole feel of the place is that an empty house has been made into a guest house with little attention to frills. Reminded me of my student house made into a 'hotel'. Shared bathroom was a surprise and I felt uncomfortable being there - no T.v, no chair, thin duvet...not a comfortable stay. Best thing about staying here is that it will make me book far more carefully in future so I don't feel like a migrant worker. My room didn't look anything like the photos.
The house was neglected, decor shabby but the location was good for me.
Good and spacious worth the money. Had an amazing stay
Room was directly open to the kitchen and a common toilet with shower. People kept coming in to have a shower at 1:00 and even 2:00 am (!!) and absolutely noisy in the morning, either showering at 5:00 (for real) or when having breakfast from 6:00-6:30 am. I have barely slept AT ALL during any night of my entire stay. It was cold in the room early in the evening, and the heat went on very slowly. Smell of tobacco from smokers in the backyard was coming in through the emergency exit.
