One of my best stays ever! Can’t say enough of this place, it’s a well maintained old building at the heart of Florence. Host is very patient, kind and helpful. I wish I had more time in Florence. Will come back if I get another chance.

The location next to the Duomo is perfect since you can find it from anywhere in the city but beyond that, the friendliness of Guiliana and charming room are a fantastic, welcoming reprieve after touring in the magical (and crowded) city. I look forward to my next visit!

Unbelievable location and very friendly service; worthy every penny I paid

Beautiful classic rooms, with an amazing view in the heat of the city and walking distance from the train. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. There aren't passenger elevators, however, there is a lift for suitcases. Beautiful place, highly recommend.

The property was very old built around 1650. The room was perfect for a stay in Florence. The cost was very reasonable. Even though the room was old it was nice and in the heart of the city.

We were very impressed with this location. It is quite literally next to the Cathedral and Duomo in the heart of the city. Our window view was spectacular and, honestly, unbelievable. Despite being next to the cathedral, it was very quiet and we had no problems sleeping. Gulianna is an incredible help and knows the city very well. I would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic location near Duomo, very convenient, many shops, fantastic AC, hospitable host. It is a lit bit of noisy at night, but still fantastic considering the location and tourists in the Duomo square. You can almost hear the musician play in the square in the evening.

Being in City Center was absolutely perfect. We were able to see all the festivities from our bedroom window. Close to everything!

Our room was very clean. The bed was made daily and towels were replaced every two days. There is no breakfast but there are plenty of choices nearby to eat. Lovely location. It’s a little noisy because there is a bar/resturant on the street below just FYI. There was a small fridge and a safe. It was fun being in the center of things!

Terrific host and location. The cathedral view rooms can be loud at night given the retail below, although the charm and customer service makes up for it.

You have to like to stay in the house over 400 years old.

This is an excellent place to stay. The location is fantastic. The room was spacious and very clean. The owner was very helpful with information and suggestions. I would stay here again.

Great hosts, amazing views

This is in the most perfect spot you could be in Florence! Open the double windows and look out to see the Duomo and baptistry, and watch all the action below. There are stairs to go up to your room, so be e prepared, but they well put your luggage up a little lift. They offer dinner refreshments for the most reasonable prices on your mini fridge. The room is amazingly huge! And best of all the hosts are so nice and accommodated our late check-out. We had forgotten something on the room and the host mailed it to our next hotel! Amazing thoughtful service.

Giuliana is a great host. The location is literally right next to the duomo. Her two recommendations for Restaurants were perfect! Was getting tired of tourist food. Can’t go wrong with B&b a Florence view!👍👍👍

Hospitality and a view

The hospitality is impeccable. The property is beyond beautiful and very comfortable. The host Giuliana is a lovely, caring person who truly made our stay very comfortable to include an upgrade with the best view of the Duomo. We stayed 3 days, she kept our luggage for us as we wanted to return for another night. Thanks for sharing some history of the building. It’s been well cared for. 1634 wow, staying in a place of history. We will definitely return. Grazie mil for the amazing and relaxing experience in the heart of Firenze.

Like staying in someone’s lovely home

Lovely warm hostess, Giuliana, greeted us and made us feel at home. Gave great recommendations for where to eat and how to get places. Friendly staff. Location cannot be beat!

Giuliana communicated with me the day before check in to ask about the time we would arrive. She was there to greet us the day of arrival and the location was MAGNIFICENT! The Duomo is right outside the front door! The building is very secure and safe. It is old so there is no elevator, but the flights are short. Everything was clean and tidy. Giuliana gave us great recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dining and shopping was right out the front door. We walked everywhere. 10 minute walk to the main train station. We give it 5 stars!!

I absolutely loved this place. It was the most authentic Italian suite we have encountered yet on our trip through Europe. You open up the windows to a breathtaking view of the Duomo square. The most amazing part was the hospitality and generosity of both Liliana and her brother Leonardo. They were so kind and helpful, made our stay a 5-star by itself. Always a welcoming smile, you could tell they loved Florence and wanted you to love it too! I would recommend A Florence View to anyone!

This B&B was in the BEST location in all of Florence! The host was the BEST of our trip so far and I could not recommend this place more! The room was super clean and the building was safe! Air conditioning worked, WiFi worked, and I just emphasize enough how perfect the location was! The host was so kind and helpful and made a reservation for us to have dinner. Everyone should stay here!

Location, location, location

Wonderful quaint room with the best views in Florence.

Such an amazing stay. Location could not be better! Leonardo was so welcoming and provided us with a wonderful list of things to do and places to eat! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Absolutely amazing stay! Very authentic and quaint Italian bed and breakfast which made the trip feel even more special! Owner was more than welcoming and informative! She suggested some local restaurants that were absolutely incredible! Right in the center of town everything is walkable! I would definitely go back and stay there again!

Florence gem

Perfect location with view of the Duomo. The piazza is noisy but with windows closed it’s fine. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We loved our stay!

Our room had an unobstructed view of the best sights in Florence. Our room had a new and modern bathroom. Our host was helpful and available. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Excellent central location, fantastic and helpful hosts, local knowledge of places to eat and visit which didn’t disappoint. Good view of the Duomo. More that ample continental breakfasts were delivered to room at time of our choosing. We would definitely stay again. 🙂

Location can not be beaten as we could look out of our window straight at the Baptistry and Cathedral. Right in the middle of the main square amongst all the festivities going on.

The location, the views and the hospitality were all wondrful.

Southsidesue

They were great, as my brother was in a wheelchair he couldn’t get to the lift as it was up 17 stairs first. They went out of their way to locate another hotel nearby that could take us at last moment. I can’t thank them enough for their help. If I go back to Florence again, I would differently stay there. Fabulous location.

Right in Duomo square! Walking distance to the rail station, large room, clean, and amazing hosts. Breakfast was freshly made to order and delivered to the room every morning!

Location, location, location - you cannot beat the location of this place. Right next to the Duomo. And for the price, with a nice breakfast included, you can't go wrong. For what you're paying, you can't expect five star amenities, but the rooms are clean, the service is kind, and like I said, Location, Location, Location.
