Amazing!
The stay was incredible. Staff were so nice and helpful. The grounds were well kept and the cabin was amazing. Such a fun stay. I definitely recommend Baypoint Landing for your travel stay.
Unique property and option as you can stay in a very well designed tiny home or an Airstream. Beautiful location and great amenities!
Wonderful accommodations! Had everything we needed for our one night stay, very quiet. We enjoyed the pool as well!
Had a great time staying at Bay Point. Cool property, looking forward to staying with better weather!
I was excited to stay at this place with my family of three and two dogs. I love dog friendly resorts. things went south as soon as we arrived. Check in was at 4pm but we arrived at 3:40. The gentleman at the desk said our room wasn't quite ready - OK no problem. We went food shopping, walked the dogs, finally at 5:30 the room was "ready". In reality the room was pretty gross. Lots of sand in the loft, smelly and stained couch cushions (one of them smelled like vomit), unwashed dishes on the shelves, and a broken glass. The staff tried to make the best of it but I think they are just overworked. BEWARE the "six person" cabin is way too small for that many people. The convertible dinette is not suitable for adults to sleep on and the cabin itself is as small as an RV.
The text with instructions on how to access the property came welp after check in time.
Family Getaway
Great location with cute cottage like tiny homes. Great amenities and atmosphere. Only down fall was the shower curtain was dirty and pink from not being cleaned - same with the shower making uncomfortable to shower and get clean.
Nice place
Beautiful place. Thank you.
Modern Cabins are Fun
We stayed in a "modern cabin" for 2 nights. Thought this sounded more fun (and a little less expensive) than a motel room. It's a nice RV Park that has cabins and Airstreams for rent and has a nice waterfront location. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Even included some firewood for our nice fire pit but the weather didn't cooperate for that. We talked to several staff members while we were there and everyone was friendly and helpful.
We went in the winter, and there were fewer people staying, very quiet. There is more space around the cabins and motor home spots which is nice, as well as the individual firepits. Cabin was well appointed. Convenient location between hiking trails and the town. Pool was out of order which was sad, but it looked very nice. We would return.
Excellent little cabin with fantastic water view.
Property itself was mediocre. However, upon booking on Expedia I was under the impression the cabin would have a water view. This is not the case. They give you a cabin further back next to the airstreams where you have to listen to the hum all night and there is no view at all. When I asked if we could be moved to a water view they said I would have to pay for an $80 upgrade even through most of the cabins were empty for the night. Cabins themselves were fine however the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Very grateful we were only there for 1 night.
Quaint stay
It was a very quaint little cottage, I would say if you're claustrophobic, don't stay there. It's like a tiny home. But it was warm and the hot water stayed hot! Water pressure was a little weak, but the water stayed hot, so I can't complain. Wonderful area!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The dune cabin was perfect and the property is located near the state parks we wanted to visit. Plenty of food options within 10-15 min. Due to the off-season, not all amenities were available on-site (food truck, etc). We will be back!
Cute, comfy water from unit with fire out and all the amenities. Dog friendly too!
The cabins are little tiny houses, which was pretty cool. We had a porch and a cool fire pit area with chairs and a view. We are staying in November, so we didn't use that area, but I would if it was a summer stay. The Wi-Fi was out the entire weekend, so we couldn't watch movies in the evenings, so that was a bummer. I didn't think the sitting area inside was very comfortable. We were visiting family, so we were mostly gone during the day, we didn't use any of the amenities like the pool or clubhouse, but I could see this being nice for a group getaway or reunion.
Loved the pet area and accessibility to the beach
Such an awesome cozy spot on the Coos Bay waterfront! The cabins are really comfortable and have everything you need to dine in and awesome firepits to enjoy some outdoor warmth on a chilly autumn night.
We arrived late due to an evening flight and were instructed to pick up our envelope from the mailbox by the office for after-hours check-in. After getting our envelope, we drove to our cabin only to find that the key didn’t work; we had received a key for a different cabin. We texted and left a voicemail at the office, but after waiting with our 3 kids and receiving no response, we felt we had no choice but to stay in the cabin we had the key for. By the time we heard back, it was too late; the kids were very cranky and sleepy due to the 3 hour time change, and my husband had to prepare for an early workday in Coos Bay. The cabin had no extra linens for the table bed, so we used a couple of throws to keep warm. Unfortunately, my son has allergies, and the throws had dog hair on them. There were also only two towels in the cabin. The next morning, the manager kindly brought us clean linens and three additional towels. Overall, the cabin was adequate but not very clean, and the shower water temperature was not hot. While the campsite was peaceful, we were not offered any compensation for the mix up. My husband frequently travels to this area for business, and we thought this would be the place he would stay moving forward, but we won’t be back due to the mix up and ultimately, the lack of staffing during late hours.
Nice place, overpriced.
The views were wonderful and relaxing. The pool also very relaxing. Nearby access to beach, gardens and viewpoints. The cabin was small, furniture not very comfortable, microwave confusing to use. Could have been cleaner.
Modern yet quaint. Best on the coast.
Everyone was very helpful. Beautiful property and the cabins are great.
Great location, great service, great amenities, very comfortable bed.
So close to being a great place to stay, but NO.
Booked cabin this trip based on description posted. Unfortunately it was very misleading. Extremely small space, love seat was most uncomfortable, kitchen chairs metal, side table very small. Bedroom, small, uncomfortable bed. If you sleep on the "wall side", you will need to climb over your partner to get out of bed. No table or real storage in bedroom. Shelf very high if you want shelf space. Bathroom very small and poor water pressure. Dribble water from shower. Some dirt , old hair, dirty dishes, etc. Overall appeared to be clean, however we washed our dishes again before using them. Single burner is very, very small. The larger pan that is all scratched up would not cook potato's and eggs in the morning, very disappointing. The property is nice and well cared for. The fire pit and seating was awesome. Short walk to bay view. No real view from cabin. We arrived early early and asked for early check in. She actually said " oh, you booked with Expedia, check in time is 4pm" They held it to that time, even though we drove around the park and never saw any activity.
Enjoyed are stay. Five stars.
Cute and Cozy
I LOVED the idea of staying in a tiny house, and Josh was very helpful in bringing us a grill and aluminum foil! Issues: no water pressure to shower or wash dishes, the internet kept cutting out (probably 20 times in 12 hours), and finally whoever cleaned that unit before us needs some lessons.
Bay Point Landing was GREAT! We had to get a late check in because American Airlines can't fly anywhere on time any more and Eric was a great help. The view is incredible and we woke to five deer grazing in our front yard. It's very quiet, cute and just right.
To call this cabin luxury is a stretch. It’s cute, and the space is adequate for one person, maybe two. But it is a basic beach cabin. The bed is a mattress on a wooden platform up against the wall. The bathroom is functional but nothing special. They left supplies for morning coffee but no coffee maker. The soap dispensers in both the kitchenette and bathroom were empty. There is a microwave and one burner for cooking but the silverware drawer was filthy and anything used would need a thorough cleaning first. This place is a great idea: Airstreams, RVs, cabins, gathering spaces, nice pool, live music on Saturday evening, food and sundries available for delivery to your door. Just wish it was as luxurious as advertised.
Fun stay
Great cabin by the bay. Bed was comfortable and living space was cozy.
The space is a little tight when you have luggage, particularly for my husband who is 6'4".
Love having an end unit with the unobstructed bay view and easy walk to the beach. Our cabin was nicely furnished, though it was small, it suited our family of 2 adults & 1 dog. We appreciated the extra nice touch of sheets for the couch, towels, dog treats & food bowl for our dog too. There is only 1 burner on the stove top & only salt & pepper for condiments, so recommend visitors bring their own seasonings if needed. The only negative is that this cabin is not one of the newer ones & was not as clean in the bathroom as we expected. Aside from that, we recommend this to others and we look forward to staying here again, perhaps in one of the newer cabins.
It was cool but would probably stay at a different place next time
Hop on it if you can make the $$$ work
Probably the best place you could stay in Coos Bay. Granted, that's a somewhat low bar, but FEAR NOT, you're not paying up for mediocrity. This place is solid. The location is beautiful, the tiny home is well-equipped, and the neighbors are just far enough away to give you a good sense of privacy. We had a cabin that wasn't quite water front, but the view from our place still afforded a nice view of the bay. The fire pit with chairs all to ourself was a real treat. Word to the wise: the complimentary firewood was too wet to use, so we bought our own from Fred Meyer. Key that I'm mine if you're looking to make a fire first thing.
This is pricey glamping. Mini cabins are very close together and the water view was a partial water view. Inside there was mildew in the bathroom and dog hair from a previous tenant. We could also hear our neighbors leaving early every day, with cabins intermixed with RVs. On the plus side, the pool was nice, they'll deliver pretty much anything to your cabin no charge and it had its own firepit. Our son also loved the lofted space that was all his.
Over priced for what the cabins offered. I don't mind spending the money as long as the values there.
Charning
Modern, clean and a great view
We enjoy our time here. We got one of the drift model and it has a great view. We bbq twice in the 3 days so we can take in the view. Inside the unit was very comfortable. We had everything we needed to make a great meal. The fridge was large to stock up our food and drink. Bathroom was clean and nicely decorated. The bedroom was comfortable and clean.
Nice in theory but missed the mark on cleanliness
I was really excited to stay here, and the amenities were great. However I found the cabins to be underwhelming for the price, and quite dirty actually. While my linens and floors were clean, the walls were both scuffed and actually dirty, the shower wall has hair stuck to it, the couch in the unit had dirt and dog hair on it. And overall it smelled both musty and like wet dog. For the high end claim, I was really disappointed with my stay. The common spaces were great, but I wouldn’t stay here again unless I were camping in my own RV.
Great stay in a tiny cabin on the water with nice amenities (easy to wash clothes). It was an ideal location for day trips along the coast and to watch the sunset at night.
Great place to get away. We stayed in a cabin on the water. Absolutely loved the beauty. (It is windy but that did not bother us at all) Staff was helpful.
The property Bay Point Landing was in good location and convenient overall. It was well kept camp grounds and well maintained. However, the luxury cabin we stayed in was filthy and not cleaned at all. The toilet and bathroom area were dirty and had not been cleaned. Also, the kitchen area and countertops were not wiped down. We stayed for 3 nights and asked front desk to clean those areas. It was not cleaned up and was filthy the entire stay. Overall, bad communication with front desk and staff. It definitely ruined our overall experience and stay. We were hoping for better service and accommodations.
Beautiful place! Not a lot of close dining options, but they do have a well equipped kitchen in the cabins.
Nice in theory but missed the mark on cleanliness

Super cool cabins, very well appointed. Great for our family. The North Bend area is a bit rough and the beach on the property was not that great/usable. Sand fleas, a dead seal and crazy strong winds. Wish we’d known the food truck was not open during our stay.
Nice place
Wonderful getaway place with all things included. Only disappointment was the food truck not being open
We had to clean a lot of dirt from the loft, bathroom and under dining table when we arrived. The shower was not very hot and the shower head kept spitting water and had low pressure.
Great location. Interesting concept. Windows needed washing.
unique and picturesque accommodations for those who dont like/want to camp but get the feel of a “camping experience.”
Good experience for a tiny home. But like the other user mentioned, it needs a thorough clean. Feels like not using professional cleaning services and a lot of places are forgotten.
I'm not much of a "camper", so this was a great and unique experience. The cabins are nice, and the views are spectacular. Wish the food truck would've been open during my stay.
Wonderful spot to stay and enjoy. Peaceful.
Recommend staying at Bay Point Landing
Nice property. Clean tiny home. The only thing I didn’t like was it didn’t have a sofa. It had a table that converted to another small bed. This was our 2nd trip to Bay Point Landing.
Beautiful spot by the bay. The tiny home cabins are a great alternative to a hotel stay. Loved the saltwater pool!
Nearly impossible to get ANY communication from the property. Multiple phone calls and voicemails left and was finally able to get ahold of someone. If you go in off season, nothing is open. Attractive cabins but could use a little work. Overall, if you desire communication for your stay, I would NOT recommend this place!
Stayed in large cottage, king bed. Very nice. Views are great, amenities are excellent (washer/dryers take credit cards) Staff was responsive and very pleasant. Only problem was the 'fast' WIFI, which was often not available AND about the speed of dialup when available. May have been a problem with the provider, but frustrating.
The location and accommodations were fun and great for a family. The general areas and grounds were well cared for. Unfortunately the cabin we stayed in needed a deep cleaning. We prewashed the dishes, pots, and utensils used. The base of the toilet needed to be wiped down. The floor needed sweeping upon our arrival. The loft looked like it had not been swept for some time. A backpack vacuum might be helpful to the cleaning crew. More attention to detail from the cleaning crew, would go a long way. The bedding and towels were clean and the bed comfortable.
we love this place-especially the salt water warm pool-just amazing architecture in the lodging and the property
Great views
Cute tiny home. Fabulous views, can be a bit, make that very windy at times. Home needed a bit more cleaning and they should install more hooks in bed and bathrooms so folks can hang towels, clothes etc...
This place was amazing! Such beautifully designed community areas, including a game room, gym, and indoor pool. We loved the tiny house! Wonderful stay! Will recommend to anyone traveling in the Coos Bay Area.
Cabins are pretty nice, TV only works on a few channels unless you have your own account. First cabin micro wave did not work., and bathroom door was very sticky hard to open and close. We move to second cabin that was bigger and everything worked great.
The little cabins were adorable and we enjoyed our stay. The configuration of the bed was difficult, since it didn’t allow you to get in to the bed from both sides. The couch was also very small and didn’t need to be. Overall, it was a lovely stay.
Great find
Great slightly off the path location - with ample space to roam.
It was so much fun!! We will definitely do it again. We had a queen cabin for 2 and it was great. We talked about it being a great place for family reunions or couples traveling.
Would love to come back - amazing place!
I love this place! Beautiful, comfortable, friendly. You cannot get any closer to the ocean
Lights for the walkway along the site need upgraded. Very dark and rainy and only two dim lights that didnt come on until you pass them. Had to use my light on my phone to see Other than that it was everything I expected and more.
very hip, super accommodating amenities, pet-friendly. would have been nice to have a dining option on site, especially for breakfast (food truck was closed—maybe for the season?). heated pool was great, but a hot tub would be even better!
Everything was wonderful. Great little spot to recoup. Only reason I can’t give it five stars is because the bed was so uncomfortable, that sleep was very difficult.
Great Stay
We always stay here this time of year to enjoy the Holiday Light Show at Shore Acres State Park: great location, and unique accommodations.
The staff very welcoming and helpful! I arrived in town early so called to ask if I could check in or unload while the heavy rains had paused. The manager and staff were very helpful and I was able to. Huge help!!! The property is spotless. Enjoyed the deer as well.
First time at this location. All staff were very nice and helpful. Cabin was small, but, there are other options available. Enjoyed our stay even though the weather was challenging.
Property was very nice. My family enjoyed the beach at the age of the property.

Great! We will be back.
Rented cabin 160 for a night. Very impressed! I have friends and family who want to check it out now!
